研究論文, Articles, By using the study of Nishimura (2015, 2016) as a reference, this paper focuses on the situation that the sentence-final particle is personal pronouns, in order to compare the postposing constructions in spoken Japanese and Chinese. This paper will point out that modalization is not only typical of Chinese, but is also possible in Japanese in many cases. By comparing the postposing constructions in spoken Japanese and Chinese, this paper intends to prove the following two points: I. Postposing is a strategy of expressing the speakers'emotion; 2. The personal pronouns in Japanese is the same with that in Chinese. Though put at the end of the sentence, its reference function will be weakened, and thus gain the emotive function.
