現代の在日非日系イスパノアメリカ人の移民は日系人とは異なり、家庭環境から受け継がれた日本文化や家族歴史、民族的関係もないが、他の文化的に近く適応しやすい国より日本を目的地とした。本稿では、経済的要因を超える選択過程は、典型的な経済的移住を超え、外国人と受け入れ社会との相互作用の起点が異なり、マクロ条件とミクロの条件との間のメゾ連鎖に着目している。現代の移民は、南米諸国側と日本側双方に設立され拡大してきた移民の斡旋組織網という日系人の前例とは異なる。イスパノアメリカにおいて日本映像文化の影響力は明白である。個人にとっては、特にミレニアル世代の対象者の場合、日本映像文化の異文化間媒体としての役割とその影響力が大きいことが明らかになった。さらにミレニアル世代を前世代と比較することにより、日本映像文化の影響は量的差異や多様性の相違にも拘わらず、現代の移民の世代を問わず浸透していることを明らかにした。, Unlike Nikkei (Japanese emigrants from Japan and their descendants residing now outside and inside Japan), contemporary non-Nikkei Hispano-Americans in Japan do have not inherited Japanese culture, family history, or ethnic ties from a family environment. However, Japan was their chosen destination rather than any other country to which they may have closer cultural affinity. In this paper, the selection process transcends economic factors going beyond typical economic migration and focuses on the meso-link between macro- and micro- conditions, where the origin point of interaction between foreign nationals and the host society is different. Contemporary immigration differs from the Nikkei precedent of immigration agency networks established and expanded in both South American countries and Japan. The influence of Japanese visual culture in Hispanic America is now evident. For individuals, especially millennials, the role and influence of Japanese visual culture as an intercultural medium has been clarified. Moreover, by comparing millennials with previous generations, it is clear that the influence of Japanese visual culture pervades all generations of modern immigrants, despite differences in quantity and diversity.

本稿は、日本経済新聞の記事を分析することで、日本が対ロシア経済制裁に対してどのような関心を持っているかを検討した。分析の結果、次の点が明らかになった。第1に、2014年クリミア紛争以降、2022年2月のウクライナ侵攻に至るまで、日本は対ロシア経済制裁に関する関心が非常に弱まっていた。日本による制裁がロシアに大きな経済的コストを強いる内容を持たず、そのことが反作用として日本経済にそれほど大きな負の影響をもたらす懸念がなかったことが、関心の経年的な低下の背景にあったと考えられる。第2に、日本における対ロ制裁への関心は、主としてEUと米国政府の制裁措置の再延長や強化の議論とリンクして高まった。金融市場や国際商品相場に直接的な影響をもたらす要因として、対ロ制裁をめぐる欧米各国の政策議論が注目されていた傾向が見て取れる。, This paper investigates Japan’s interest in economic sanctions against Russia by reviewing articles in the Nikkei newspaper. The analysis revealed the following points. First, Japan’s interest in economic sanctions against Russia has been weak from the 2014 Crimean conflict until the February 2022 invasion of Ukraine. In the background lies that Japanese sanctions did not impose significant economic costs on Russia, and there was little concern that they would have a significant negative reverse impact on the Japanese economy. Second, Japan was more attentive to anti-Russian sanctions mainly when the European Commission and the US governments started discussing extension/tightening/lifting of the sanctions because these possible policy changes would directly affect financial markets and international commodity prices.

本書は、筆者の博士論文を大幅に加筆、修正したものである。北米で最大の日系人口を擁するカリフォルニアに焦点を当て、日系新聞を中心とする歴史資料の収集とインタビューを通じて、アメリカ日系社会の音楽文化の歴史を描き出し、その特徴を分析した。これまであまり注目されることがなかった日系人の音楽活動をジャンル横断的に俯瞰することで、日系人の歴史を新たな視点から捉え直すと同時に、アメリカ日系社会の事例を通じて、ディアスポラ、マイノリティの音楽文化の理論化を試みたことで、日系人研究、音楽学研究に対して一定の貢献ができたと考える。本書では部分的にしか触れることのできなかったカリフォルニアとハワイの日系文化の違いをさらに検証していくこと、また戦後移民や混血の増加により複雑化している今日の日系音楽文化の動向を、その変化に即した新たな視点とアプローチにより解明していくことが今後の課題である。

俳人増田恆河は日本語歳時記『自然諷詠』とポルトガル語歳時記『NATUREZA』の二つの歳時記を編纂した日系ブラジル人である。本論文ではこの二つの歳時記の比較により、増田恆河がどのようなプロセスで『NATUREZA』を編纂したのか、という問いについて論じた。二つの歳時記の比較分析から、増田恆河が、段階的に日本的な季語を排除しながら、本当の意味でのブラジルの季語を選び、季節の感覚やイメージを説明する歳時記を編纂しようと試みたことがわかった。それは言い換えれば、増田恆河の視点が、日本コミュニティの一部としての日系ブラジル人の視点からブラジルコミュニティの中の日系人という視点に転換したことを示す。その背景には、ブラジルハイカイは、ブラジルの自然を詠む短詩であり、そのために真の意味でのブラジルKIGOを編纂したKIGOLOGIAが必要とされ、それがブラジル文化への貢献につながるという増田恆河の信念があった。, The haiku poet Goga Masuda, who was active in both Brazilian Nikkei haiku and Brazil Haikai, compiled two Kigologia, one in Japanese, “Nature Verse”, and the other in Portuguese, “NATUREZA”. The purpose of this research is to compare these two Kigologias and to ask the questionof how Masuda compiled “Natureza”. From the comparative analysis of the two Kigologias, Masudaattempted to compile a Kigologia that explains the sense and image of the seasons by selecting the true Brazilian seasonal words while gradually eliminating the Japanese seasonal words. In other words, Masuda’s perspective shifted from that of Japanese-Brazilians as part of the Japanesecommunity to that of Nikkei in the Brazilian community. 1990 年の出入国管理及び難民認定法の改正により来日が急増した中南米日系人だが，30 年以上が経過した現在も日本社会で安定した地位の確立が難しい者が多い。また，日本の外国人問題は国籍別で討議されるが，中南米に関しては日系人という一括りで議論されたり内訳がブラジルとペルーに限定されるという特徴がある。日本から移住した人の6 割以上が暮らす中南米から子弟が在留するようになると，日本は世界第3 位の日系社会を抱える国となった。来日初期と比べ人も問題も変遷したが，外国人問題で語られる日系人は依然2 カ国のままで，他の中南米への注視や課題の言及には至らない。彼らは定住化が進むにつれ安定した地位を望み，日本人同等で働けることや社会における主要人材になることを希望するが，そこには様々な二分の壁（1）もある。そこで，日本における中南米日系人とは何かその視座を再考し，彼らが安定した社会生活を営むための課題を提起する。, 中南米日系人, 外国人問題, 就労問題, 教育問題, 多文化共生

The military regime in Brazil (1964-1985) was one of the longest-lasting military regimes in Latin America. Today, many Nikkei citizens believe that, "in that period there was security, and the economy was prosperous. In general, it was a good time." However, the leaders of the Japanese-Brazilian community during this time were afraid of persecution. Therefore, they tried to avoid expressions of opposition to the authoritarian government. Japanese immigrants in Brazil, an ethnic minority in the receiving society, were continuously placed under pressure throughout the decades by Brazilian rulers after their arrival. Under the weight of the military regime, the Japanese-Brazilian community, as a form of self-defense, became the model minority under the authoritarian power. This position could have been assumed out of fear as well as the desire for social ascension in the host society and progression toward social integration. Among the second and third generations of Japanese descendants, there were those who did not fit in the role of the model minority, who questioned the dominant social structure under such a military regime and acted against the military government. They joined communist or anti-government opposition parties’ activities through social and student movements, but communist activities went on to become illegal. Opposition parties were allowed to participate in the election. However, Nikkei opposition political activities were not fully understood by the Japanese-Brazilian community, and opposition members were sometimes kept away from their families and the community. In this article, we examine how the model minority image has defined the interest of the Japanese-Brazilian community in political participation, observing the relationship between Nikkei opposition politicians and the community through those politicians’ life stories. We analyze the life stories of two Okinawan politicians, Iha Koyu and Getúlio Kiyotomo Hanashiro; we also use Portuguese newspapers published by the community as well as individual oral histories to describe the life stories. Through the methodology of life storytelling, it is possible to understand the kind of changes those Nikkei opposition politicians experienced with their families and members of the Japanese-Brazilian community. 近年の計量ファイナンスの研究では，資産価格のボラティリティの推定量として，日中の高頻度データから計算される実現ボラティリティ（Realized Volatility; RV）を用いることが多い．これまでRVを利用したボラティリティの予測モデルには様々な定式化が提案されてきた．先行研究の中で，予測精度が比較的優れていると論じられているモデルとしては，Heterogeneous Autoregressive（HAR）モデルがあり，日次RVの変動が過去の日次，週次，月次といった周期の異なるRVの関数として定式化されている．また，日次の資産価格収益率からボラティリティを未知の変数として推定するモデルとして，GARCHモデルやStochastic Volatility（SV）モデルがあるが，これらにRVを加えた，Realized GARCH（RGARCH）モデルやRealized SV（RSV）モデルによるボラティリティ予測も注目されている．本稿では，まず，RVを用いたモデルについて先行研究のサーベイを行う．次に，日経225株価指数の日次リターンと日次RVを用いて，先行研究で扱われている主要なモデルについて，ボラティリティの予測精度の比較を行う．予測期間を新型コロナウイルス感染症の拡大前後で分け，優れているモデルが時期によって異なるかどうかも検証する．分析の結果，コロナの発生直後を含む期間では，HARモデルやRGARCHモデルの拡張であるREGARCHモデルの予測精度が比較的高く，それ以外の期間についてはコロナ前もコロナ継続期間もRSVモデルの予測精度が高いことが明らかになった．, The realized volatility (RV) calculated using intraday high-frequency returns, is used as an estimator of asset price volatility. The heterogeneous autoregressive (HAR) model, which specifies RV as a function of the previous daily, weekly and monthly RVs, is recognized as efficient. The realized GARCH and stochastic volatility (RSV) models, which augment the GARCH and stochastic volatility models with RV, have also attracted research attention. After conducting a survey of previous studies on models using RV, this paper compares the volatility predictive abilities of some major models using the daily returns and RV of Nikkei 225 stock index. Evidently, the HAR and realized exponential GARCH models perform better than other models in certain periods, including the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. The RSV model provides the best results for other periods.

In recent years, Japanese policymakers have shown increasing interest in medium-sized enterprises (MSEs). However, the latest literature review indicates that a common theoretical perspective is being lost in MSE studies in Japan. The purpose of this paper is to reveal what topics have been mentioned in Japan's leading economic newspapers, using text-mining methods, and to identify research agendas that MSE studies in the future should address.The analysis covers 626 articles published in the Nihon Keizai Shimbun (known as Nikkei) and its affiliate newspapers from 1981 to 2020. According to the results of the analysis, the topics that lack adequate academic research despite the practical and policy demands are as follows. 1) Top management related issues, especially the training of executive candidates and recruiting professional managers. 2) Strategic management, including internationalization and growth strategies of companies from medium-sized to large.

2014年に公表された「「持続的成長への競争力とインセンティブ ～企業と投資家の望ましい関係構築～」プロジェクト最終報告書」（以下「伊藤レポート」）では，日本企業の収益力は過去20年にわたって欧米企業のほぼ半分であると指摘され，その改善策の１つとして，上場企業は経営指標として「資本コスト」や「ROE（Return On Equity）」を採用すべきと提言されている。「スチュワードシップ・コード」（2014年策定）と「コーポレートガバナンス・コード」（2015年策定）が改訂された際に，上場企業は，記述情報（非財務情報）として経営方針・経営戦略と「ESG（Environment・Social・Governance）要素」「SDGs（Sustainable Development Goals）」「気候変動」との関係を開示することになった。その際には，記述情報（非財務情報）は有価証券報告書において開示されるべきであるとされている。本稿では，日経平均株価の構成銘柄に選ばれている225社（2021年4月末時点）の有価証券報告書（2020年5月25日～2021年4月28日公表分）を分析し，実際に225社が「資本コスト」「ROE」「ESG要素」「SDGs」「気候変動」を経営指標や経営方針・戦略に利用しているかを調査した。その結果は以下の通りであった。「資本コスト」を記載している会社は31社（225社のうち13.8％），「ROE」を記載している会社は115社（同.51.1％），指標を一切記載していない会社は37社（同.16.4％），経営方針及び経営戦略等の欄に「気候変動」を記載している会社は71社（同.31.6％），「ESG要素」を記載している会社は72社（同.32.0％），「SDGs」を記載している会社は48社（同.21.3％），「事業等のリスク」欄に「気候変動」を記載している会社は123 社（同.54.7％）であった。

本稿の目的は，資本市場統合の高度化の下での2016年における円ドルレートの変動原因を明らかにすることである．用いる円ドルレートデータは，午後5時の東京外国為替市場取引終了時点の円ドルレート終値である．日本経済新聞の紙面版と電子版のマーケット欄為替・金融記事は，外国為替取引状況について解説している．円ドルレートの変動原因の解明に際して，本稿における分析方法の特徴はこのような「日経記事」による日々の為替取引解説を使用する点にある．2016年1年間通じての円ドルレートの変動原因についての分析結果は以下のとおりである．予想円ドルレート変動が現実円ドルレート変動へ及ぼした3.81円の円高・ドル安の原因は，「原油安」，「世界景気の減速懸念」，「米国での早期の追加利上げ観測後退」，「中国による南シナ海地対空ミサイル配備の地政学リスク」，「中国人民銀行による人民元の対米ドル基準値を元安方向設定に基づく中国からの資金流出」である．「原油安」も中国経済停滞に基づく原油需要の低下が一因なので，2016年の予想円ドルレート変動の原因は中国絡みのそれが多かったといえる．, The purpose of this paper is to clarify causes of fluctuations in the yen-dollar exchange rate in 2016. The yen-dollar exchange rate data used in this paper are those of closing prices at 5:00 p.m. in the Tokyo Foreign Exchange Markets. The Nihon Keizai Shinbun comments on the daily exchange dealings in the Tokyo Foreign Exchange Markets in both the print edition and the electronic one. The characteristic of the analytical method in this paper is to employ the daily exchange dealings commentary by such "Nikkei article" in order to clarify causes of fluctuations in the yen-dollar exchange rate. The analysis about causes of fluctuations in the yen-dollar exchange rate through the year 2016 as a whole is as follows. Causes of the strong yen/weak dollar of 3.81 yen that the expected yen-dollar exchange rate gave to the actual-yen dollar exchange rate are "lower crude oil prices", "the perspective of the world economy slowdown", "an early additional rise in interest rates observation retreat in the U.S.", "a geopolitics risk of the South China Sea land-to-air missile deployment by China," and "fund outflow from China based on the setting with the standard value of yuan by People's Bank of China for U. S. dollar towards the weaker yuan-dollar exchange rate". In recent years, as Japan pursues the development of a sustainable society, the question of how to deal with environmental problems has become an increasingly important issue. In particular, since 2010 much attention has been focused on how corporations have sought to deal with environmental issues. Green Advertising is a key corporate communication channel not only for sharing information about a company’s environmental measures with advertising audiences but also for raising public environmental awareness. At this point, the connection between people and the natural environment is a significant issue for advertising studies. However, few studies have paid attention to this connection. Therefore, the present study aims to shed light on this issue by investigating the representations of the natural environment in green advertisements in Nikkei Ecology magazine over a three-year period from 2013 to 2015. The investigation of these advertisements reveals the following four characteristics. First, there is a tendency for the natural environment to be represented within cities. This implies that the nature and people live closely together as well as emphasizing that nature is harmless or non-threatening nature for people. Second, the natural environment trend to be represented together with artificial objects. This implies a sense of harmony with nature and the targeting of objects or symbols for protection. Third, the natural environment tends to be represented as primitive nature. This relates to reforestation and people’s desire and utilization of natural power. Finally, there is a tendency of the natural environment to be represented close to satoyama or satoumi areas. This emphasizes the issue of reforestation and defending threatened nature.

近年，資産価格のボラティリティの推定量として，日中の高頻度データから計算される実現ボラティリティ（Realized Volatility; RV) を用いることが多い。RVの変動を表すモデルに Heterogeneous Autoregressive (HAR) モデルがあり，このモデルは日次RVの変動を過去の日次，週次，月次といった周期の異なるRVの関数として表す。RVは長期記憶性を持つ可能性が指摘されており，HARモデルは長期記憶モデルではないが，少ないパラメータで長期記憶過程をうまく近似できるのでボラティリティの予測精度が高いこと，パラメータを最小2乗法で簡単に推定できること，週次や月次のボラティリティを予測したい時には被説明変数を週次や月次のRVに置き換えるだけで良いことから、よく用いられる。その後，このモデルは様々な拡張が行われているので，本稿ではまずHARモデルの発展についてサーベイする。次に，日経225株価指数のRVに応用し，これまでに行われている様々な拡張によって，ボラティリティの予測精度が改善するかどうか分析する。その結果，日次ボラティリティの予測では，ボラティリティ変動の非対称性を加える以外の拡張はボラティリティの予測精度を改善しないことが明らかになった。また月次ボラティリティの予測では，ボラティリティ変動の非対称性を考慮しても予測精度が改善しないことが明らかになった。, 依頼論文

本稿では，日本留学を1年間以上経験してから，約10年～50年が経過したラテンアメリカ出身の20名の日系人元留学生を対象とした，留学の長期的成果についての聞き取り調査の結果を分析し，日系人の日本留学の特徴とその長期的成果について考察した。居住地で各自が持っていた日本人意識の濃淡によって，日本留学への期待は異なっていたが，ほとんどの日系人留学生が来日後，自己のアイデンティティーについて葛藤を経験した。多くの女性元留学生の場合は，受け入れ社会から差別を受けたと感じる経験があった。留学後10年以上が経過し，元留学生たちは，留学経験のある日系人として出身地や日本，または第三国で仕事や生活をしている。留学中の経験によって，日本社会や日本人に対して批判的な立場をとるようになった元留学生もいるが，それでもすべての元留学生が日本のよい面を次世代や周りの人々に伝えようとしている。留学時代に受けた恩恵を今度は自分が返す番であるとして，日本から来る学生等を支援している人もいた。調査結果は，今後の日本における多文化理解や国際教育交流について，興味深い課題を示唆している。

application/pdf, 紀要論文, 本研究では、複数言語話者のロシア人である筆者が行った、日系ペルー人の子どもを対象とした学習支援を事例として取り上げる。日本語とスペイン語を母語としない支援者による学習支援について述べ、子どもが持つマルチリテラシーズ養成やアイデンティティ構築への影響を探った。日本語とスペイン語を活用した英語支援の過程を分析し、複数言語話者である支援者の役割を明らかにした。その結果、支援者は自分の言語学習経験を活かし、「複数言語による書く力を獲得しようとする動機を支える役割」と「意思疎通が難しいと思われる多言語多文化背景を持つ相手とのコミュニケーション経験を与える役割」を果たすことが分かった。さらに、日本人でも日系ペルー人でもない支援者との接触は、子どもが持つ民族アイデンティティ及び民族コミュニティへの帰属感を支えることを確認し、バイリンガルとしてのアイデンティティ形成へ好影響を与えることが明らかとなった。, This study describes learning support provided to the Nikkei-Peruvian children by the author. The study examines the impact of learning support provided by non-native speaker of Japanese and Spanish on the multiliteracies, identity of the children and the role of such facilitator. The data indicates that through the educational practices, children received a unique experience of multilingual and multicultural communication. Their motivation to improve writing skills in multiple languages was influenced positively. Also children’s ethnic identity was asserted and they were able to confirm their sense of belonging to the Nikkei community, as well as discover and begin to construct their bilingual identities.

本稿は, 日経平均株価の日中スポット・ボラティリティ経路の予測における関数ARCH モデルの有用性を検証するものである。実証分析の結果は,少なくとも, 用いたイン・サンプルおよびアウト・オブ・サンプルの標本期間において, 関数ARCH(1) モデルのうち共分散作用素の少数の固有値・固有関数を用いるバージョンによる予測が, HAR モデルによる実現分散時系列の日次ボラティリティ予測値を日中季節性で調整し得られるベーシックな経路予測を, RMSE 基準でアウトパフォームするというものであった。

グローバル化した世界において、国家間を移動し、出生地ではない場所で生活することが珍しくなくなりつつある。国家間の移動も加速化し、これまでにない様相をみせている。本論文は移民のなかでも日系ブラジル人の子どもたちに注目した。日本とブラジル間での人々の往来は1908年にはじまる。近年ブラジルから日本へのデカセギが急増し注目が集まった。その後、2008年にブラジル日本移民は100年をむかえたが、世界的な経済不況の影響で多くのブラジル人が日本からブラジルへと帰国した。そのなかには多くの日本で就学していた子どもたちも含まれる。様々な理由で日本からブラジルへと帰国した子どもたちはその後どのような生活を送るのか。国家間を移動する、あるいは移動の可能性があるということが、子どもたちの生活と教育にいかなるコンフリクトをもたらしているのか。日系ブラジル人の子どもたちの生活誌を事例とし、国家間を移動する子どもたちの複雑なライフスタイルの一側面を明らかにした。, In a globalized world, a person who crosses borders and lives in places different from where they were born is not rare. The “acceleration” on migration across borders has become more noticeable. An increase in migration has become a one-sided issue among international societies. Research is being conducted within different fields of the social sciences. This report will focus on Nikkei Brazilian children who have migrated. The back and forth movements between Brazil and Japan began in 1908. More recently, the focus has been on the increasing number of people who have moved from Brazil to Japan as temporary workers. In 2008, the Brazil-Japan immigration process completed 100 years. Due to the world recession, many Brazilians returned to Brazil. This report will focus on the different reasons that children returned from Japan to Brazil. The life history of the Nikkei Brazilian children who traveled back and forth between Japan and Brazil will be used to discuss the kinds of conflict related to the education of those children who migrated between countries or who have had the opportunity to migrate. Conflicts experienced by the children who moved between countries and the one-sidedness of their lifestyles will be discussed.

Focusing on the situation in western Canada, this paper aims to investigate the participation of Japanese migrants in the established Nikkei community. Within the long history of research on prewar Japanese migrants and their generations of descendants, attention has been paid primarily to ethnicity and acculturation. However, the increase of Japanese migrants since the 1990s has started to generate academic interest. Within the Canadian Nikkei community, those who left Japan after 1967 are called ijusha. In recent studies, their motivations for migration, interactions with both other ijusha and the established Nikkei community, and their notions of nationality and ethnicity have been considered. While these considerations have taken it as self-evident that contact between ijusha and the Nikkei community is limited, the reasons for the estrangement between these two groups has not been adequately explored. Ijusha are often unwilling to participate in Nikkei activities, and instead tend to merge directly into Canadian society by utilizing their high occupational skills and language ability. In this paper, I use data collected through participant observation and interviews with ijusha to discuss their sense of cultural belonging. As a result of this research, I have identified four factors that contribute to the gap between ijusha and the Nikkei community. They are 1) a denial of Japan, 2) de-abroadization, 3) the media, and 4) lifestyle migration and plural homes., 紀要論文

日系外国人の多住地域は、2002年頃から増加地域と停滞・減少地域への二分化が進んでいる。前者では相対的に三世の比率が高く、後者では二世の比率が高いことなど、多住地域の二分化は人口構成からも特徴づけられる。広島県海田町で実施した日系外国人の調査からは、①福岡県から福島県に至る広範な地域から広島県に来住していること、②他の多住地域と離れた広島県においても地域内での移動が多いとは必ずしも言えないこと、③ブラジル人人口の上位10県からの移動者が比較的若い人々や移動回数の多い人々により構成されている可能性があること、④近年それらの地域からの流入が減少した可能性があることなどが明らかになった。広島県は、他の日系人人口の停滞・減少地域と共通した特徴を有する一方で、外国人研修生・技能実習生の急増が見られる点において大きく異なっている。日系外国人を送り出してきた大手の人材派遣業者が新たに研修の受入れ組合を設立する動きがあるなど、広島県では外国人雇用における日系外国人から研修生・技能実習生へのシフトの兆候が見られる。 付記 本研究は2007年度広島国際学院大学現代社会学部特別研究費「広島県海田町の国際化と大学の地域貢献に関する研究」（研究代表者：伊藤泰郎）の成果の一部である。, There are several prefectures in Japan that show a high rate of Latin-American Nikkei’s (foreigners of Japanese ancestry), but since around the year 2002 the residential trend of Nikkei’s has entailed a polarization: areas of increasing and decreasing Nikkei population. The polarization is characterized by the population composition, where the former (Tokai Region encompassing Nagoya City) includes a relatively high rate of third generation Nikkei’s, while the latter (like Hiroshima) is composed of the second generation. The results of the survey that the authors conducted for Nikkei foreigners in Kaita Town, Hiroshima Prefecture in July 2007 indicate that (1) the places of their first arrival in Japan range from Fukuoka Prefecture (in the west) to Fukushima Prefecture (in the east); (2) although Hiroshima is geographically isolated from other prefectures with a volume of Nikkei’s, the limitedness of their movement within the same prefecture is not so significant compared with other areas of residential concentration; (3) there is a possibility that those who came from the top 10 prefectures of Nikkei Brazilian population in Japan are of a younger generation or are frequent movers; (4) in recent years there is decreasing influx of foreigners to Hiroshima from other prefectures with residential concentration of Nikkei’s. Hiroshima Prefecture has a common character with other prefectures with large number of Nikkei foreigners, of which population is increasing or decreasing. However, it is unique in terms of the rapidly growing number of Asian industrial trainees. Some major manpower agents that once dispatched Nikkei’s to the manufacturing industry are now establishing branch companies to hire foreign trainees. In Hiroshima, there is a sign of the change of stakeholders: from Nikkei’s to Asian industrial trainees. 野村茂治教授退職記念論文集, In Honor of Prof. Shigeharu NOMURA, This paper explains the BOJ’s ETF purchasing program, indirect holdings by the central bank, and the effect on individual stocks listed in the Nikkei 225 Index. It also examines the Japanese stock market response to an addition to and a subtraction from the Nikkei 225 Index. The heavy presence of the BOJ in the Nikkei 225 Index has raised concern that the BOJ will become one of the top shareholders of companies and bring some distortions on the index. Similar to the reactions in related literature, the stock prices of the added firm went up on the announcement day, continued to increase until the day before the effective change date, and decreased after the change date under the ETF purchasing program. Those of the deleted firm went down significantly and its cumulative abnormal returns slipped deeply. Negative impacts on the subtracted firm were observed.

最早諦められ忘れ去られた問いかけがある。それは， 「日本の株価が1989 年に付けた高値を抜くことはできるか？」という素朴な問いである。 本稿は，この古くて新しい問いかけに一つの答えを見出そうとするものである。結論から言えば，今後株価はBPS（一株当純資産：Book Value per Share）の伸び率通りに伸びる（または下がる）。つまりROE（自己資本利益率：Return on Equity）に（１－配当性向）を掛けた率で，株価は上昇（下落）する。そしてROE の水準をより高いところに持って行けるなら，PBR（株価純資産倍率：Price Book Value Ratio）の水準も上昇し，株価が既往ピークを抜く日が現実性を帯びてくる。 しかし，本稿のあまりに当たり前の結論はそれだけでは俄かには信じがたい。なぜなら，上場企業全体（金融除く）の純利益は，バブル期をはるかに超えているのに株価はピークの60％程度という厳然たる現実を見続けてきたからである。 では本稿をこのような結論に導いたのは，何か。それはバブル崩壊後，日本の株式市場では純資産の増加分だけはほぼその通りに時価総額が増加したという事実である。つまり，市場全体で株価が暴落していく過程でも，投資家は企業の純利益の追加的蓄積と新規に投入した資金については，自らの取り分であることに，疑いは持たなかったのである。とはいえ，その蓄積された純資産が将来より大きな利益を生むという期待もまた，もってはいなかった。だからこそ，純資産増加分のPBR は，１を超えることはほとんどなかったのだ。今後の課題は，いかにしてPBR の水準を上げるかである。やはり当たり前ながら，ROE をあげていくしかない。ROE が上がればPBR もあがることは，モデルが示しており，それは国内の時系列検証，および国際比較からも支持されている。ROE の上昇は，利益率の上昇を待たねばならない。そして今後利益率を向上させるのは財・サービスの価格である。, 論文 Article

When Lehman Brothers went bankrupt in 2008, as in previous global financial crises, we could see that all banks expanding internationally tended to have closer linkage with global markets to perform balance-sheets adjustments. In recent years, the Nikkei stock average has been influenced by international linkage a lot. We analyzed the movement of shareholders by using the data of the Japanese distribution of dividends to shareholders. From factor analysis for the transition of investment ratio of each department, we could explain the actions of investments. Also, we performed multiple regression analysis to analyze the linkagebetween the Nikkei stock average and foreign stock market indices using the Dow Jones average, the S&P500, and the SSE composite indices as explained variables. From these results, we succeeded in showing the international linkage of Nikkei stock average by using statistical data.

実現ボラティリティを導入した確率的ボラティリティ変動 (Realized Stochastic Volatility, RSV) モデルのマルコフ連鎖モンテカルロ法のアルゴリズムの一つであるmixture samplerを用いた推定法を提案する．収益率と実現ボラティリティ測定値の観測誤差の相関と回帰の構造を導入し，これまで提案されてきたRSVモデルを含む一般的なモデルに対してmixture samplerを議論する．先行研究をサーベイし，提案したモデルとの関係を議論する．分析例として日経平均(Nikkei 225)の日次終値収益率とその実現ボラティリティ測定値に応用し，複数の種類の実現ボラティリティ測定値を導入した場合も含んだ暦効果の検証の例を示す．特に曜日効果はボラティリティの潜在変数と実現ボラティリティとの間で異なった振る舞いをすることがわかった．, A stochastic volatility model with realized measures of volatility (Realized Stochastic Volatility model, RSV model) is extended. The regression structures, correlations between returns and realized measurement errors, and multiple realized measures are incorporated into the model. A Bayesian estimation method using the Markov chain Monte Carlo method which is called the mixture sampler is proposed for the generalized realized RSV models. The realized volatility models in the previous studies are surveyed and relation them and our models is discussed. The proposed models and estimation methods are applied for the Nikkei 225 daily closing price returns and realized volatility measures. The calendar effects of latent and realized volatilities are estimated separately. Different behaviors are found for them in the day-of-the-week effect.
