西表島のチガヤ草地において, 1992年の2月, 5月, 8月及び11月に昆虫類を採集し, 昆虫群集構造の季節的変動について検討したところ次の結果を得た。1.採集された昆虫類の目レベルの昆虫群集構造はその優占度からみて次のとおりで, 半翅目が最も優占し, 次に膜翅目で, 種数の比較的少ない直翅目の優占順位も高かった。2月=半翅-チャタテムシ-双翅-膜翅-アザミウマ-直翅-鞘翅-鱗翅 5月=半翅-双翅-膜翅-直翅目-アザミウマ-鞘翅-チャタテムシ-鱗翅 8月=半翅-膜翅-直翅-双翅-アザミウマ-鞘翅-鱗翅 11月=膜翅-半翅-双翅-直翅-アザミウマ-鞘翅-鱗翅 2.各調査月の目別種類数(双翅目と膜翅目の一部を除く)はイネ科植物を寄主とする草地性の種を多く含む半翅目と直翅目が最も多く, 次いで沖縄で種類数の多い鞘翅目と鱗翅目が多かった。アザミウマ目, カマキリ目, ナナフシ目, チャタテムシ目, 脈翅目の種類数は少なかった。3.採集された種についてその発生時期により10型に分類することができた。また, 主要種についてチガヤとの関連で(1)チガヤを寄主とする種, (2)チガヤ草地を生息場所とする種, (3)チガヤ草地に生息する他種類を補食する種, (4)調査地る発生する他の植物を寄主とする種に大別することができた。4.種多様度指数は2月に最も低く, 5月に最も高く, その後8月と11月には漸次低下した。, 1. Insect survey were carried out at February, May, August and Novembur in 1992 at Imperata grassland in Iriomote Island, for the study of seasonal chenges of insect community structure. 2. The sturucture of dominant Order was very similer among each seasons, namely Hemiptera was mostly dominant. And dominance of Orthoptera was high in the index of species diversity in comparison to the other Order. This is indicated that these two Orders is related to the grassland. 3. The collected insects tended to cover more species at May, August and Novembur, but these at February covered fewer ones. 4. The species diversity by Simpsons index at February was lower, but that at May was higher, and that tended to decreased at August and Novembur., 紀要論文
