This study aims to analyze the applicability of the disregard of legal entity in arbitration, based on theories regarding the extension of the arbitration clause to nonsignatory parties. Instead of the part of the doctrine’s and the Brazilian’s Superior Court (STJ) positions, it is believed that it is not possible to use the theories of implied consent and group of companies, in order to justify the possibility of disregarding the principle of patrimonial separation in an arbitral proceeding.

A multi-residue method was applied to investigate the incidence and the concentration of ionophores and non-ionophore anticoccidials residues in poultry meat and hen eggs for the three-year period 2017-2019 in Italy. The risk related to the ingestion of such molecules was also characterized for the entire population. The average incidences of positive samples ranged from 1.35 to 9.45% while the maximum average concentration was of 4.28 μg/kg for nonionophore molecules. No uncompliant sample was recorded. The overall risk characterization related to the intake of anticoccidials trought chicken meat and eggs reveal a minor concern for consumers of all age. However, the monitoring of coccidiostates residues through official control activity in poultry meat and egg is crucial and it should be continuously conducted to ensure safety of such products and safeguard consumers̛ health.

O presente artigo tem por escopo analisar os possíveis impactos na sistemática processual e na segurança jurídica do jurisdicionado com a “taxatividade mitigada” do art. 1.015 do CPC, tema polêmico desde a sanção da Lei 13.105/2015. O legislador submeteu o recurso de agravo de instrumento a um rol de cabimento fechado. Recentemente, decidiu-se pelo rito dos recursos repetitivos que o rol do art. 1.015 possui uma “taxatividade mitigada”, podendo ser interpretado extensivamente quando verificada a urgência decorrente da inutilidade do julgamento da questão no recurso de apelação. This introductory essay aims to shed light on the theoretical raison d’être, the intersections within, and the main lines shared by the five essays that make up this section. The section is dedicated to transnational and blended learning spaces in telecollaborative, trans-institutional projects. This piece pivots on the increasingly important and pervasive theoretical notion of the “Spatial Turn” (Bachmann-Medick 2016, 211-243), which has become increasingly visible in, among other fields, pedagogy and cultural studies, and more specifically in the idea of boundary-crossing and hybridisation not only of physical but also of methodological spaces. This introductory essay shows how these five scholarly pieces contribute in different ways to enriching the interdisciplinary scholarly space at the intersection of intercultural awareness and technology- enhanced teaching and learning of foreign languages and cultures.

This paper discusses a foreign language acquisition project developed at Monash University (Melbourne, Australia) – in collaboration with the University of Urbino (Italy) – and aimed at incorporating Skype-mediated digital learning into an Italian studies advanced 1 Unit, in order to improve the students’ perceived exposure to spoken Italian and Italian culture. After discussing the project’s context, theoretical framework, and digital contents, the paper will focus on its results from the viewpoint of the students’ perception, by analysing the data collected via weekly online questionnaires completed by the participants throughout the course.

One of the most critical problems for research archives is their definition. Without a common dictionary and a robust conceptual framework, academic research heritage, specifically if in digital form, is at risk; the efforts made for its preservation and exploitation will not be able to face old and new challenges and even less to exploit technological potentialities and new languages available.The tools developed for making accessible and preserving the academic outputs generally support creation of digital library and repositories for publications or for individual items. Specialized and efficient tools for identifying, describing, making available and preserving this heritage are requir ed. Compliance with acknowledged standards is necessary, but it is also essential to define consistent workflows, approve adequate policies and build sustainable services. The paper will discuss these issues by presenting the Sapienza Digital Library and its goals of identifying, making accessible and preserving significant research heritage in digital form. The ambition is to make it understandable and reusable both for the scientific community and professionals , and for no-academic users. Digital resources are described by the investigators themselves on the basis of detailed policies and with the support of professionals from the archival and librarian domains. Special attention is devoted to resources contextualization, to the provenance information and to the presentation of research projects and their outcomes. Collections are described and made accessible taking into consideration their specific domain vocabularies and standards and a validation process is in place to ensure a qualified approach.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and the tolerability of viscosupplementation (VS) with hyaluronic acid (Hylan GF 20) in a cohort of 36 patients affected by hip osteoarthritis through a 18 months follow-up. Methods: Viscosupplementation was performed with an anteriorsagittal approach, under ultrasound guidance. 36 patients were administered hyaluronic acid intraarticularly in the hip, with a unique injection of Hylan G-F20, which could be repeated after at least 3 months. Treatment efficacy was assessed by functional index WOMAC, pain evaluation on a visual analogue scale and NSAID consumption. All such parameters were recorded at the time of the first injection and then 3, 6, 9, 12 and 18 months later. Results: Statistically significant reduction of all parameters was observed three months after the injection, and was still maintained at the timepoints 6, 9, 12 and 18 months. No local side effects have been observed, nor systemic complications. Conclusions: Our data show that viscosupplementation is a promising approach for hip osteoarthritis, providing beneficial effects in a long-tern follow up. Yet, the topic deserves further and wider studies, so to define the number of injections to administer and suggest a fit interval between subsequent injections.

This paper aims to investigate self-regulation enhancement within a CLIL course targeted to teach academic listening and reading skills. Explicit learning strategies instruction was implemented to promote learners’ skills to autonomously manage academic studies in Italian as a second language in a university setting. Students’ cognitive styles were also catered for while carrying out learning strategies instruction. Findings show that learners reached a high degree of self-regulation in terms of reading skills while tackling academic materials in Italian as a second language; on the other hand, a slightly lower degree of autonomy was detected in learners in terms of academic listening skills.

The Boi Cerbus lagoon, facing a mining and industrial site in Sardinia (Italy), is an important fishing area for the local population. Previous studies showed high concentrations of total arsenic (Astot) in fish, molluscs and crustaceans sampled in the lagoon, and a possible exceeding of the provisional tolerable weekly intake set by the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives by some local consumer groups. However, the percentage of inorganic As (Asinorg) should be known for a correct assessment of potential risk, as its toxicity is much higher than that of the organic forms. Eighty samples of 14 different species of fish, molluscs and crustaceans, sampled in the Boi Cerbus lagoon in 3 different seasons (winter, spring and summer), were analysed for Astot by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) and Asinorg by high performance liquid chromatography-ICP-MS. All the data obtained from the analysis were statistically processed to evaluate significant differences based on season, taxon and habitat, in preparation for a subsequent risk assessment.
