Happiness is a right that must be recognized and must be accessible to everyone, because it depends on what social actors are able to do or not do. This seems to distance happiness from the emotional dimension. This paper intends to present data relating to a part of a larger study carried out in 2021. The research investigated the social imagery that revolves around the concept of happiness. The study involved 20 men and 20 women (35-45 years-old) in two web discussions. This paper will try to understand if happiness is an emotion, mood or personality trait and if a gender distinction emerges. The data collected showed that for the study participants, happiness is an emotion. Despite this, a gender distinction is highlighted with respect to the other two images of happiness (mood and personality trait). In the first case, the image of happiness as a state of mind is more common among women. For the men involved in the study, happiness is the result of individual action, it is a characteristic personality trait. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

While the effects of the remotisation of work during the pandemic have been largely explored in the literature, little has been written on how remote work is used in the post-pandemic phase. Moreover, although the literature has mainly focused on the effects of remote work on the organisation of labour and individual experiences, we argue that to understand the ongoing changes, it is necessary to analyse the organisational contexts in which these processes are taking place. In this regard, the perspective of trade unions is a valuable tool for comparing the experiences within different organisational contexts and reflecting on emerging challenges and opportunities. Based on empirical data collected in the metropolitan area of Milan, the paper explores the extent to which companies and trade unions are pushing to maintain the use of this working method or, rather, pressing to return to working on-site. It also identifies some factors that explain the different positions on the issue. Our analysis stresses that the prevailing working modality can be defined as «hybrid», as it combines both days of face-to-face work with others carried out remotely, which has many consequences for both companies' and unions' activities. In this phase of transition, trade unions find themselves tense between the desire of workers to continue working remotely at all costs and the awareness of the risks that remote work represents in terms of rights protection and bargaining capacities. This paper aims to demonstrate how field data collection applications can represent a good resource in archaeological surveys. As an alternative to the classic paper documentation, using a smartphone application saves time both during the survey (automatic geolocation, GPS tracking) and in the post-processing (easier data import in a computer software, reduction of typo-errors and prevention of transcription errors). The focus of this paper is Geopaparazzi, an open source application for Android that allows customized and easy collection of field data by using a smartphone; collected data are ready to be processed by computer software like GIS. Geopaparazzi 6.1.0 was tested in four archaeological survey campaigns, three in Versilia (Italy, Tuscany) and one in Lampedusa (Italy, Sicily). The two environments are profoundly different: Versilia is a mountain landscape, and Lampedusa is a small island. A shocking event such as the one experienced by the population of central Italy in 2016 highlights two problems that afflict the national heritage: the fragility of historic villages and the conservation of the historical-artistic heritage of these cultural centres. This paper intends to propose an applicative method to address the problem of the documentation and conservation of the material and intangible characteristics of the historic centre of Amatrice following an earthquake that de facto cancelled almost all the material components and therefore prevents a campaign of traditional data acquisition. The applied methodology is based on the complementarity between the analysis of unpublished historical photographic material and the digital reconstruction of each building in the city through the aid of Google Street, creating an integration between digital restitution tools, social media as iconographic sources and the contextual architectural reading of the few building fragments still in situ. In this paper we will try to understand the "conceptual" perspective of sociology as one of the possible lines drawn within the cultural horizon of the social sciences. And this can be easily understood if we understand by "sociological culture" a knowledge that is not reducible to a scientific disciplinary sector or to an analytical technicality (an instrumental apparatus) aimed at data collection, but as a conceptual process capable of developing a cognitive orientation aimed at grasping the existential situation of man starting from his historical, concrete and social condition. The aim of this work is therefore, more than anything else, to grasp the process of conceptualisation of social experience starting from the cultural formations within which the relationship between thought and society, or rather, between mental structures and historical-social conditions, develops concretely and reflectively. In this paper we present the results of a survey, conducted in the Italian region of Lombardy, on teaching Italian as a second language to adult migrants at Pre A1 level of competence, i.e. in the case of semi-literate learners. The first purpose of this research was to describe the characteristics of the teaching practices of Italian as a second language in Pre A1 level courses for migrants, collecting data through a questionnaire addressed to teachers in adult education centres in Lombardy. Then, a broader objective was to encourage the teachers' metacognitive thinking, in order to enhance and disseminate existing good practices and promote methodological innovation, with particular attention to the role of grammatical reflection in the case of semi-literate learners. After showing the theoretical framework and the methodology of the research, we analyse the collected data, which allow to outline some implications for teaching practice and teacher training. This paper examines the use of digital photogrammetry and terrain data management within GIS applied to Archaeology, i.e. the study and reconstruction of the settlement layout of Uşaklı Höyük (Central Anatolia, Turkey) during the Hittite period, through 3D surveys and geo-spatial analyses. Thanks to the data acquisition and processing using algorithms software, i.e. Structure for Motion and Multi-view stereo, it was possible to create highresolution photogrammetric products and cartographic maps valuable for interpreting and further examining archaeological evidence collected during excavations. These products include: i) Digital Elevation Models (DEM), ii) 3D textured models, iii) aerial photogrammetric survey of the Hittite temple (Building II) at a scale of 1:200 and, iv) the orthophoto map of the höyük at a scale of 1:500. This paper is part of a research project - still at an early stage - on the process of acquisition of Brazilian Portuguese as a foreign language in the Italian university context. We present here the first data on the acquisition, by Italian-speaking learners (all students of the University of Salento), of morphosyntactic properties associated with the positive/negative value of the pro-drop parameter, also showing the pragmatic-discursive properties that can determine a distribution of null pronominal subjects in different contexts. An overview is presented of ongoing initiatives within the frame of the Monte Abatone Project, focused on the large urban necropolis of the Etruscan city of Caere (Cerveteri). Excavation campaigns; a multi-layered GIS, suitable for archive data and new acquisitions onfield; an experimental processing and modeling of the multi-scalar Information System - architectural (BIM) and topographic (GIS) - of the Campana Tumulus; challenging restorations of thousands of sherds: all this should contribute to have a clearer picture of the necropolis and of the historical and cultural profile of the city. In the past few years the CATI technique has been extensively used in many areas of both social and economic research. As a result of tight deadlines imposed by purchasers together with increased attention to costs and a lack of attention towards methodology, a number of practical flaws emerged in addition to the theoretical constraints that have already been analysed and found within literature, with repercussions on the quality of data. The use of pseudo-panel, the complete delegation of data collection and control phases and the sub-contracting of interviews to foreign laboratories are only some of the strategies adopted by public and private institutions to reduce the costs of research, often at the expense of the quality of research itself. The result is that the distinction between research with commercial aims (typically with low methodological standards) on the one hand, and research carried out for theoretical and academic purposes, on the other, is slowly fading away.
