This article deals with the ontological philosophy of Martin Heidegger in the context of discovering the meaning of liturgical symbols, specifically one of liturgical music and chant in the Catholic Church. The aim of this study is to explain the symbolic meaning of liturgical music and chant and to reflect on its relevance in enriching the liturgical capacity of the faithful. The paper is intended as a literature review. The author reviews Louis-Marie Chauvet's book, Symbol and Sacrament, as well as other works about Heidegger's philosophy, such as the writings of Armada Riyanto. This study finds that liturgical symbols, such as music and chants performed in the liturgy, are not merely entertainment to please the eyes and ears of the people. These are symbols that transmit the content and the message of faith. The performance of liturgical symbols can help people understand and experience the strength and beauty of liturgical celebrations.

This paper investigates the pivotal role of school principals in shaping and enhancing Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among teachers to enhance the quality of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) instruction. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Bumi Raya, located in Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, employing descriptive-qualitative methodologies. Data analysis was conducted using the N-Vivo software. The findings of this study underscore the multifaceted role of principals in fostering OCB. Principals emerge as both motivators and supervisors within the educational setting. As motivators, they offer support and encouragement to teachers facing challenges, convene regular meetings to address issues, and deliver motivating messages during ceremonial gatherings. As supervisors, they diligently assess and oversee the performance of their teaching staff, ensuring a high standard of educational delivery. Internally, factors influencing OCB include teachers' personality development and perception of organizational support. Externally, the quality of relationships between superiors and subordinates and the length of service significantly impact OCB outcomes. In summary, this research sheds light on the pivotal role of school principals as motivators and supervisors and identifies key internal and external factors that influence the optimization of OCB among teachers. Understanding these dynamics is crucial for improving the management and quality of Islamic Religious Education learning in educational institutions.

Abstrak—Seperti halnya suatu hiburan yang diciptakan dalam bentuk game, game sendiri banyak jenisnya sebagai contoh versi mobile dimana game akan memberikan pengalaman yang tidak terlupakan saat dimainkan. Pada saat ini oaring-orang telah mengenal bahkan menggunakan teknologi dalam bermain. Banyak sekali game tradisional yang ada di Indonesia serta cukup digemari, misalnya permainan berbasis papan. Permainan tersebut masih banyak dimainkan oleh masyarakat dari anak-anak sampai orang dewasa karena cara bermainnya mudah dimengerti. Tetapi, permainan tradisional yang berbasis papan mulai ditinggalkan karena tergantikan dengan smartphone, konsol game dan computer. Game ular tangga merupakan permainan tradisonal yang dapat dikembangkan dengan menggunakan teknologi. Game ini akan ditanamkan kecerdasan buatan menggunakan algoritma PRNG untuk melakukan pengacakan dadu secara acak untuk pemain dan NPC agar permainan menjadi lebih menarik. Hasil yang didapat yaitu pembuatan permaian ular tangga untuk pembelajaran berhitung berbasis smartphone Android telah berhasil dilakukan dengan menerapkan algoritma didalamnya. The objective of this research aims to inestigate the transformativeleadership of school principal paradigm in developing the religious and social character of students at SMA Model Palu, Central Sulawesi. This research uses qualitative proposed by Bogdan dan Taylor. The technique of data analysis uses Miles and Huberman qualitative data analysis. The results indicate that, first, transformativeleadership of school principal paradigm is able to build commitment and cooperativeness in making changes, development, and improvement of the learning quality, management of educational quality administration that produces outstanding students. Second, it is able to develop a religious and social culture in changing the thinking and attitude paradigm of students who are obedience to God, honest, sincere, and have a social character in developing the students’ attitudes on cooperativeness, cooperation, brotherhood, empathy, and tolerance. The development of religious and social personalities is carried out in an integrated manner through curricular and extra-curricular activities

Tujuan tulisan ini untuk menganalisis pola komunikasi kepala madrasah melaksanakan tugas dan fungsi kepempinan dalam pembinaan karakter religius peserta didik. Metode kualitatif digunakan dalam menelaah makna kontent dengan teknik analisis reduksi, display dan verifikasi data. Tulisan ini menghasilkan tumuan; pertama, kepala madrasah melaksanakan tugas kepemimpinan dengan pola komunikasi demokratis, partisipatif, interaktif dan pskologis, kedua; implementasi pola komunikasi demokratis, partisipatif, interaktif dan pskologis kepala madrasah efektif mengembangkan karakter religius peserta didik. Ketiga; nilai-nilai karakter religius yang dikembangkan pada pribadi peserta didik adalah taat menjalankan ajaran Islam, saling menghormati, memiliki kepedulian sosial, memiliki sikap motivasi belajar individu dan kolaboratif, serta menghasilkan perilaku peserta didik yang jujur, kreatif, bertanggung jawab dan inklusif.

This research aims to determine the development of humanistic multicultural education in learning Islamic religious education, and implementation of Islamic religious education in a culture of tolerance in SMA Negeri Model Madani Palu. This research uses qualitative method through purposive sampling technique approach. The result of this research showed that the development of humanistic multicultural values in the learning of Islamic education is carried out according to the objectives, materials, methods and evaluation of learning in the syllabus and RPP 3 (three) hours a week. Extracurricular activities held every Saturday as an additional lesson of Islamic religious education and manners through the school program “Bina Imtaq”. This article tries to describe the concept of Human Rights in the West and the response of Islam to them. In its history, it was Magna Charta in England that initiated the formulation of Human Rights in the West in 1512. Then It was followed by The Bill of right in 1689; The American Declaration of Independence in 1776; and The French Declaration in 1789 that resulted in The rule of law. Human Rights entered a new phase after The United Nations had declared the International Human Rights in 1984, that is The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. From that time on, Human Rights has become a global issue, continually discussed and responded to by many including Muslim scholars. In the West, the concept of Human Right is based merely on human values (anthropocentric) so that the responsibility is restricted to human beings. Based on this, this concept is different from Islamic concept on Human Rights because the former is based on secular values while the later is based on human values and divine values. Normatively, the idea of Human Rights is relevant to Islamic idea. The reason is that, based on their fitrah as creatures, human beings extremely expect the maintenance of their main needs (Al-umur al-Daruriyyah). Therefore, Human Rights are suitable with the purpose of syari’ah (maqasid al-Syari), that is to maintain religion, reason, heredity dan property. Kata Kunci: Islam, Hak Asasi Manusia
