Purpose: Health is a right of every citizen, so the hospital's strategy for improving services should see opportunities from various aspects, especially in today's digital era. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how digital advertising and quality of service affect consumer choice to choose health services through organizational culture at St. Vincentius A Paulo City of Surabaya. Design/methodology/approach: This study's methodology brings together a descriptive technique with a quantitative approach. Customers who submitted their information into the database compose the population in the present research. The sample in this research is 200 respondents. Data collection techniques used questionnaires distributed to consumers who served as participants in tests. Analyzing data technique with path analysis method. Findings: The findings revealed that the quality of service (X2) and digital advertising (X1) had a favorable and considerable impact on organizational culture (Y) at St. Vincentius A Paulo / RKZ Surabaya City where X1 = 0.000 and X2 = 0.000 is less than 0.05. Practical implications, as input to the hospital for material evaluation of organizational culture development policies in the St. Vincentius A Paulo City of Surabaya. Purpose: This paper discussed the concept of business education programme and the need for quality assurance in tertiary institutions. It examined the important roles of NUC, NCCE and TRCN in assuring quality in business education programme in Nigeria. Design/methodology/approach: This paper focused on the underlined heading as follows: objectives of business education, needs for business education ,quality assurance measuring parameters, constraints of quality assurance in business education such as; inadequate funding; staff recruitment; inadequate teaching and learning materials , control measures of quality assurance in business education, current efforts of ensuring quality in business education in Nigeria were discussed. Findings: On this note, it was recommended that Business Education curriculum should be revisited and tailored towards equipping for self-employment, among others. Purpose: Digitalisation among SMMEs has been slow due to the constraints such as a lack of infrastructure, networks, technologies, and related skills to fast-track digital transition. These binding constraints make it harder for Small Micro and Medium Enterprises (SMMEs) in developing countries to undertake this digital transition. The purpose of this study is to explore the state of digitalisation within the Tourism Supply Chain Network (TSCN) among SMMEs in Gauteng. Design/ Methodology/ Approach: An ethnographic qualitative methodology was adopted to have a better understanding of the complexity and idiosyncrasies of digitalisation within the TSCN among the SMMEs in Gauteng where interviews were conducted from twelve participants until saturation. Findings: The results revealed that apart from the lack of digital skills (data analytics software and video editing technology) and limited understanding of knowledge management especially for the legal systems within the supply network among the selected SMMEs remains a challenge. Practical Implication: Formulating integrated business ventures and approaching big projects as consortiums not as individual small micro entities is critical for more purpose-driven tourism networks, especially for emerging businesses. Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine the entrepreneurship levels of students from different departments who receive sports education. Design/methodology/approach:Random 155 university students who were voluntarily participated in the study. University students entrepreneurship scale was used to collect data. SPSS program used for analysis. Findings: The total entrepreneurship score was found as 133.1±11.3 points. No significant difference was found between the genders. There was a significant difference was found between the departments. It was found that the average scores of the students of the recreation department were significantly lower than the average scores of the students of the other departments (p:0.036). Research limitations/implications: Based on the study findings; It can be said that entrepreneurship scores are generally high, but it may be beneficial to provide entrepreneurship-themed trainings to students in order to reduce the difference between departments. Purpose: This research project investigated the formation of the architectural heritage identity in Damascus within the context of globalization by analyzing the architectural principles of Damascus's prevailing architecture in the contemporary era. The research aims to identify the impact of globalization on the formation of heritage identity in terms of design and characteristics. Design/methodology/approach: The research project used studio practice method through studio experimentation and contextual approaches to investigates how architectural heritage contributes and creates the obsession, emotion, aspiration and belief of urban society towards shaping lifestyle in a contemporary culture. Findings: The research project has been successful in examining how globalization technology and the ability of its modern materials have influenced the representation of heritage elements to create a unique heritage architectural identity adapted to the surrounding space and place. Practical implications: The research contributed to raising the awareness of the community to enhance its appreciation of cultural heritage values, and also contribute to highlighting the pursuit of maximum benefit from all aspects of technological development in the architectural work to find new elements for architectural shape that match the new urban societies. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze innovation efforts to increase inpatient obstetrics and gynecology at the Kirana Sidoarjo Mother and Children Hospital (RSIA) using the Blue Ocean Strategy. Purpose: This study aims to provide cost information for the benefit of costs as a measure of the efficiency of a business. Planning tool, meaning that business planning is definitely related to income and costs. Cost control, meaning comparing the costs that should have been incurred to produce one unit of product with the actual costs incurred. Cost is an important factor in ensuring a company's victory in competition in the market. Consumers will choose producers who are able to produce high quality products and services at low prices. Contemporary Cost Management Systems emphasize tracking over allocation. And activity-based management is at the heart of contemporary operations control systems. Design/methodology/approach: This study used a descriptive research method. Data is the document obtained financial statement for the period of 2022. As for the subjects in this study are companies engaged in manufacturing, by calculating the cost based on the financial statements in 2022. Findings: Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that recording costs in the company's internal or known as cost accounting is useful to assist company management in preparing plans or making decisions related to finance. There are at least two main factors that must be considered in choosing a cost driver, namely: measurement costs and the degree of correlation between the cost driver and actual overhead consumption. Cost drivers are divided into two categories, namely structural cost drivers and executional cost drivers. The cost driver is the basis used to charge the costs accumulated in the cost pool to products. So that by calculating costs through a Time Driven activity-based costing system, companies obtain more precise and accurate information. Research limitations/implications: The limitation in this study is that calculating cost can only be done for one entity. Practical implications: The results of this study can be used as a comparison in this cost has a function to measure production costs with the cost of production results. Activity based accounting will make it easier for accountants to understand the costs and benefits derived from the products the company produces. Originality/value: The focus of the research is to find ways to calculate the effectiveness of human resources, means of production, as well as the raw materials for the products to be used. Purpose: This study aims to review how effective the online food delivery application is that is used to optimize MSME income in the culinary field, especially at Seblak Incezz Rejomulyo, Kediri City. Design/methodology/approach: This is a qualitative study that employs an analytical descriptive approach. The analytical-descriptive approach was chosen because it provides an explanation or elaboration regarding variable objects obtained from the data that has been collected. Findings: The use of online food delivery services is effective in optimizing sales volume at Seblak Incezz Rejomulyo, Kediri City. In the end, the more sales increase, the entity's income will also increase. Research limitations/implications: Only focus on one sector of SMEs, so the results cannot be compared with SMEs in other fields. Practical implications: This research shows that MSMEs need to adapt according to technological developments. Purpose: Nowadays, is it internationally acknowledged that access to venture capital (VC) investment is central for market internationalisation, entrepreneurship development, job creation and economic growth. Although VC’s reputation is universally accepted among scholars and in academic literature, there is still a knowledge gap in Africa. The study intended mainly to explore why developing nations in Africa have not been fruitful at stimulating early-venture capital investment compared to the developed nations. We reflect a range of probable reasons that impede both foreign and domestic VC investment, including difficulties faced by the entrepreneurs in obtaining funding from VC firms. Design/methodology/approach: Using multiple regression analysis, we examined data from 61 VC companies’ resident in East and Southern Africa from 2015-2021, coupled with in-depth interviews with twelve VC investors. Findings: The study revealed that several early-stage firms lack the capacity to manage large tickets of above US$5 million. Second, the results affirm that the absorptive capacity and VCs’ geographical preference all combined significantly influence the growth of the VC industry, and this problem is heightened by government’s limited support to creating supportive policies that enhance SMEs’ growth. Practical implications: The study offers good insights by suggesting direct government intervention in the form of instituting tax incentives on capital gains to inspire more foreign investors. The tourism industry has made an enormous difference in terms of jobs, foreign exchange, and the building up of infrastructure. It's a perfect sign for the growth of tourism infrastructure and renewable energy tourism in Indonesia. Purpose: This research is aimed at assisting academics and business professionals in creating and implementing online marketing strategies to increase sales turnover through consumers' impulsive buying behavior to consider the factors of internet addiction, browsing and hedonistic lifestyles in planning and implementing online marketing. Design/methodology/approach: This research employed quantitative analysis utilizing data analysis approaches based on structural equation modeling (SEM) and a Likert scale for the measurement. Findings: The results of the analysis of the direct effect indicate that the internet addiction and browsing variables have a significant and positive effect on the hedonistic lifestyle. Furthermore, browsing has a significant and positive effect on the impulsive buying, whereas the internet addiction and hedonistic lifestyle variables have no significant effect and are positive with regard to product impulsive purchasing on online shops by the residents of Kupang City. Purpose: Landslides are hydrometeorological disasters frequently occurring in many places, particularly during the wet season. Slope stability analysis is the initial stage in defining countermeasures to prevent slope failure and mitigate the negative consequences. This study aims to apply the Limit Equilibrium Method (LEM) to examine the slope stability of the Dufadufa - Jambula road, with the SLIDE version 6.0 application serving as an analytical tool. Design/methodology/approach: Researchers use field measurement data to build a slide application slope model. The soil data used as input parameters are derived using the Robertson chart to interpret the sonder test findings. Findings: According to the results, the minimal slope factor of safety (fs) at the area under consideration is 0.247. It demonstrates that the road slope, which is the study location, is in critical condition; in other words, the slope of the Jambula-Dufadufa road segment has the potential to undergo a slide. Purpose: Flooding is a problem in urban areas, particularly in the Krukut watershed. The causative factors are changes in land use, increased land conversion from dry land to watertight built-up land, and reduced water catchment areas. Various efforts to control inundation have been made, but the location of inundation has not been significantly reduced. As a result, a model is required to predict the occurrence of inundation so that it can be anticipated. This study will discuss a mathematical model for predicting inundation in the Krukut Watershed by considering rainfall, land use, and the drainage system. Design/methodology/approach: Researchers gathered inundation data from trusted social media from 2010 to 2020, rainfall data from 2003 to 2018 from the Universitas Indonesia Campus station, and land use data from Citra Landsad in 2019. SPSS was used to analyze the data. Findings: The analysis results show a solid positive correlation with the variable Building Open Area impermeable to inundation. According to the research findings, the inundation area is 0.17 km2. Compared to the EPA SWMM modeling results, the result is 0.21 km2 with a return period of 25 years, with an overall accuracy of 90,91% and a kappa accuracy of 67%. Purpose: Most economic education students at STKIP PGRI Nganjuk feel that the large selection of products when shopping online makes them monitor the product they will buy every day. If they don't buy the item they have seen in the online shop, there will be a feeling of regret, so they decide to buy the item even though not a need at that time. Therefore, research was conducted on financial literacy, amount of pocket money, and lifestyle on the consumption behavior of STKIP PGRI Nganjuk economics students. This study aimed to analyze the effect of financial literacy, amount of pocket money, and lifestyle on the consumption behavior of STKIP PGRI Nganjuk economics students. Design/methodology/approach: This study uses a quantitative approach to the explanatory method. This research was conducted in the economic education study program STKIP PGRI Nganjuk with a population of 275 students from semesters 1, 3, 5, and 7, while the sample in this study was 163 students who were calculated using the slovin formula with proportional sampling technique. The data analysis used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with the help of SPSS 26. Findings: The results of the analysis in this study show that: 1) Financial literacy affects consumer behavior, 2) The amount of pocket money affects consumer behavior, 3) Lifestyle influences consumer behavior, 4) Financial literacy, amount of pocket money, and lifestyle significantly affect the consumption behavior of STKIP PGRI Nganjuk Economic Education. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of price, service quality, food quality, physical environment and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty of A&W customers in Jakarta. Design/methodology/approach: The research design used in this research is descriptive research and causal research. Questionnaires were distributed as an effort to collect data using a 5-point Likert scale to measure variables. The research sample was obtained through a purposive sampling method of 200 respondents. This study used the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS 4.0 as a test tool. Findings: The results of this study indicate that price, service quality, food quality, and physical environment have an effect on customer satisfaction of A&W customers in Jakarta. In addition, customer satisfaction has an effect on customer loyalty of A&W customers in Jakarta. Research limitations/implications: This research only focuses on one object of a fast food restaurant (A&W fast food restaurant); taking a limited number of research samples from A&W fast food restaurant customers in the Jakarta area due to time and cost constraints; and only focuses on the effect of price, service quality, food quality, physical environment and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty. Practical implications: Fast food restaurants can consider the results of this study to ensure and evaluate customer satisfaction and customer loyalty from their fast food restaurants. Thus, when customers are loyal, fast food restaurants can retain their customers and develop their business better in the future. Purpose: Human Resources are the most important thing in the organization, so that the company's activities can run well, as well as efforts to carry out all organizational activities to the maximum extent possible so that employee performance increases. The factor that needs to be considered is the leadership style, this is important because it is one of the components that affect performance. The second factor is the workload that is not in accordance with the work that should be done by other parts, in the end they are passive in responding to work. Work stress also affects employees who work hand in hand at work that is not actually part of their job, employees become ineffective in doing their jobs. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style, workload and work stress on the performance of employees. Design/methodology/approach: This type of research uses a quantitative approach. Findings: The results of this study indicate that leadership style has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance; workload has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Purpose: The Covid-19 pandemic has led to corporate financial decline caused by reduced profits and sales. Additionally, the decline in corporate finances has also been attributed to a decrease in sales within companies. The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of sales growth on the occurrence of financial distress in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Design/methodology/approach: The variable used in this study is sales growth, which is used to measure a company's ability to maintain its economic position in a growing economy, as well as in the industry or product market in which it operates, as a means of survival in the face of intense market competition. Findings: This study utilises a qualitative approach, employing descriptive analysis techniques through a literature review (library research). The findings of this research indicate that sales growth has a significant impact on financial distress in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange during the 2019-2020 periods. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effect of accountability, transparency, and supervision on value for money-based budget performance in Mojokerto City. Design/methodology/approach: In this study, sampling is carried out using the purposive sampling method. The research sample consists of 51 respondents in regional apparatus organizations in Mojokerto City. The analytical technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Findings: The results show that transparency and supervision have a significant effect on value for money-based budget performance, while accountability has no significant effect on value for money-based budget performance. Purpose: Knowledge management nowadays becoming a huge area in terms of managing in any organization that closely related to human resources, organizational development, change management, information technology, brand and reputation management, performance measurement, and evaluation. The emergence of knowledge management in light of the very dynamic workforce in the hospitality industry especially in developing states ignites the need to understand its role. Thus, this study aims to discover the relationship of knowledge management and employee commitment in the hospitality industry so organizations can devise a good HR plan most especially for committed employees. Design/methodology/approach: This study was done in Davao Region, Philippines with 450 employees from the various sectors of the hospitality industry using a survey method. Findings: Empirical findings revealed that knowledge management and organizational commitment are of high levels are described by the respondents. Purpose: This research was conducted at SMA (Senior High School) and SMK (Vocational High School) Kawung 2 Surabaya with the aim of analyzing the influence of the work environment on teacher performance, analyzing the effect of compensation on teacher performance, and analyzing the effect of work professionalism on teacher performance, analyzing the influence of work environment mediated by work professionalism on teacher performance, analyzing the effect of compensation mediated by work professionalism on teacher performance. Purpose: The study draws on the social network theory to examine the influence of interpersonal relations on the task performance at the individual employee, team and divisional levels in the Nigerian Police Force. Design/methodology/approach: The study adopted a cross sectional survey design and a sample of 556 police men was selected through the application of multi-stage sampling procedures. The data collection instrument was designed in line with the 5-point Likert scale while the instrument was validated through content validity approach and the reliability of the instrument is determined using the test-retest method. Findings: Data were collected through the self-report of the policemen while analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics, run mean test and Chi-square test and the results indicated that interpersonal relations influence employee, team and divisional task performance in the Nigerian Police Force. Practical implications: We recommended that instrumental ties and social communities in the fabric of the Nigerian Police Force should be promoted to further advance the critical roles of crime fighting and prevention with a view to reducing criminality in Nigeria. Purpose: The goal of this study is to determine the effectiveness of village budget policies in community economic empowerment during the Covid-19 pandemic by analyzing the implementation of village funds. Design/methodology/approach: The data was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis with village leaders and officials. Findings: According to the findings of this study, the implementation of the village fund policy in Pangkul village during the Covid-19 period went off without a hitch. The allocation of village fund budgets in empowering economic communities in Pangkul village was quite effective. People in Pangkul Village were educated on the Covid-19 pandemic. Practical implications: Pangkul Village has also developed a new program, namely a resilient village, in order to keep its community stable and maintained in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. Purpose: Hang Nadim Airport is the only airport in Batam. And recently, Hang Nadim Airport closed some of their flight route. This cause less plane to fly, and will increase the potential of flight delays. Flight rescheduling can be main reason of dissatisfaction. But besides that, this paper will also focus on check-in service speed, check-in hospitality, comfortability, security, hygiene, food & beverages, providing accurate information, pricing, online services, and facilities provided for the indicators on service satisfaction. The method used in this research is Interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA). The data obtained are: Hang Nadim Airport needs to improve on providing accurate information about departure and arrival time and facilities, food & beverages; pricing; and online services are the lowest priority at Hang Nadim Airport, and check-in service speed; check-in hospitality; comfortability; security; and hygiene is where Hang Nadim Airport needs to keep up the good work. Purpose: Today, the Covid-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the tourism sector. Bali must stay alive and exist during the pandemic as a province that relies on the tourism sector. In addition, it functions as a forum for MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), especially for the Balinese people. Purpose: E-government is one of the government's efforts to develop the implementation of electronic-based government activities in order to improve the quality of service to various parties effectively and efficiently. In the context of implementing e-government in Cirebon City, Cirebon City is carrying out a smart city or smart city movement with its vision of realizing Cirebon as a creative, innovative, synergistic and competitive smart city in 2028. Lots of programs have been implemented as supporters of the realization of the smart city movement in the city of Cirebon. Research with the title "Implementation of E-government in the Village Public Administration Electronic System Program (SEDULUR) in Kalijaga Village, Harjamukti District, Cirebon City", has a formulation of the problem of how to implement the sedulur program in Kalijaga Village, Harjamukti District, Cirebon City. Design/methodology/approach: This research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach that is descriptive. Determination of informants using purposive sampling. The theoretical foundation used is the Balanced E-government Scorecard theory with five dimensions in it, the five dimensions are: benefits, efficiency, participation, transparency, and change management. Findings: Based on the research that has been done, it is concluded that the implementation of e-government in Kalijaga Village, Harjamukti District, Cirebon City with case studies of the sedulur program has not been optimal in its implementation, this is because the sedulur program still wants to be developed so that later all people can access it without having to contact the head of the RW First of all, it's just that the budget was diverted during the Covid-19 pandemic which hampered the development of the Sedulur program. Practical implications: The efforts that have been made are with Harjamukti District supporting government programs related to people who are aware and obedient of paying taxes so that revenue-sharing funds (DBH) from these taxes can be allocated for the development of the sedulur program. Purpose: Flood discharge is a critical component in reducing the impact of flooding in a given location. An analytical technique based on a watershed's morphometric properties is a method for those without a gauge, particularly in small-scale watersheds. Design/methodology/approach: The synthetic unit hydrograph (HSS) approach is used in this study to analyze flood output. This study was conducted in the Akelaka watershed, a sub-watershed of Tayawi. This analysis relies on spatial and attributes data. A spatial study of watershed morphometric properties was obtained by integrating digital elevation model (DEM) data into geographic information system-based applications (GIS). Meanwhile, using rainfall data from 2019 to 2021, a statistical approach is used to calculate the design rainfall intensity, which is then used as an input variable in the HSS analysis. Findings: The findings of hydrographic analysis using Nakayasu HSS demonstrate that the peak flood time (Tp) is 2.8 hours with a maximum flood discharge (Qp) of 56.636 m3/s, 76, 987 m3/s, 88,091 m3/s, and 101,279 m3/s for return periods of two years, five years, ten years, and 25 years. This paper is aimed to examine the effect of parent brand loyalty to brand extension loyalty, vice versa, also role of parent brand association as moderator and risk aversion as mediator in the relationship of parent brand loyalty and brand extension loyalty. This paper utilizes conclusive research design with predictive causal analytics. Sample collected was from millennial mothers with children ranging from 2-7 years old and are decision makers in purchasing babies and children care products. Primary data were obtained through distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The data then processed using MRA for moderating variable analysis and PLS-SEM for mediator variable analysis. This research found that parent brand loyalty has significant direct effect on brand extension loyalty and vice versa, but also partial complementary mediated by risk aversion. While parent brand association proved not to be a moderating role, risk aversion is a partial compensatory mediator in the relationship between parent brand loyalty and brand extension loyalty, hence become the novelty of this study. Future study should consider discussing product categories with special cases, re-examining positive relationship of parent brand association with parent brand loyalty and brand extension loyalty, also examining individual factors that can characterize a millennial cohort consumer.

This paper examines the relationship between the presence of women on the board of directors to capital structure and the risk of company failure. This study divides capital structure decisions into three measurements, namely Leverage, Maturity or also known as Debt Maturity, and Cost of Debt. For leverage and Maturity, we do not find a significant relationship with women on the board of directors. We use the annual financial data of Trade, Services, and Investment service sector companies recorded on the IDX for two years of research, which are the data for 2018 and 2019. Our paper yields two main findings. First of all, the relationship between women on the board of directors and the risk of company failure is negative and significant. These outcomes can be explained by Agency Theory which considers that through transformational leadership, women pay attention to the interests of others and build positive relationships with colleagues and employees by eliminating information asymmetry. Thus, the company's performance can be maintained and avoid the risk of failure. Second, we reveal that there is a negative and significant influence among women on the board of directors on the cost of debt. Companies led by female directors tend to minimize debt so that debt financing will be lower than total assets. Low debt financing will reduce the company's cost of debt.

This paper analyzes marketing strategies to increase customer loyalty. Customer loyalty can be used as a measure of a customer's level of loyalty to a particular product or brand. The higher the level of customer loyalty will increase the number of active customers who make transactions. Semanis Kamu Cafe reported that based on the update data in May only 40 percent of the number of transactions are active buyers or customers who make transactions. Meanwhile, the management targets active buyers to reach 50 percent of the number of transactions. Therefore, the author wants to propose a marketing strategy that can increase customer loyalty. This research resulted in three program proposals, namely membership using member cards, rewards points, and email marketing. During the past decade, social entrepreneurship has become an emerging topic. The primary objective of social entrepreneurship is to address social issues through a business lens. Social capital is a critical indicator of a social enterprise's sustainability. The purpose of this conceptual paper is to examine social capital and its role in the innovation process. At the moment, no valid model adequately describes the role of social capital in social innovation, particularly in indigenous communities. The available model is intended for use in the private sector only for social innovation. The purpose of this paper is to discuss bridging and bonding at the level of actor-actor interaction to the innovation process in the Cireundeu indigenous community. Social innovation is believed to stimulate business growth by leveraging additional ideas from external sources, providing a new capacity for the community to develop a local economy. This paper aims to develop a conceptual model of social capital in social innovation to understand the actors' innovation capabilities better.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine how individual innovation capability, job involvement, and knowledge sharing affect employee performance. Design/methodology/approach: A questionnaire with 65 employees of PT. Birowo Jaya as respondents provided the primary data for this investigation. Purposive sampling was the method of sampling employed in this investigation. Using route analysis, validate this research. Findings: The study's findings indicate that: (1) knowledge sharing positively impacts employee performance; (2) individual innovation capability positively impacts employee performance; (3) job involvement positively impacts employee performance; and (4) knowledge sharing, individual innovation capability, and job involvement positively impact employee performance simultaneously. Purpose: The goal of this study is to discover how the Shopee Mojokerto market's consumers make purchasing decisions in relation to product ratings, convenience, trust, and pricing. Purpose:. This study aims to analyze the effect of advertising, sales promotion, personal selling and brand image on purchasing decisions for Honda PCX motorcycles in the city of Surabaya. Therefore, the researcher uses quantitative methods using objective measurements and mathematical analysis. The data analysis technique in this study used Multiple Linear Regression. The population in this study is people who use Honda PCX motorcycles, as many as 255 people. Findings: The results of data analysis of the influence of independent variables, namely Advertising, Sales Promotion, Personal Selling, and Brand Image on the dependent variable Purchasing Decision obtained Fcount 9.875 > 2.40 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, which indicates that Advertising, Sales Promotion, Personal Salling and Brand Image positive and significant effect on the Purchase Decision on. Purpose: The shift in the value of tradition/history impacts the structure of the built neighbourhood, such as changes in the residential area. It is both in terms of the environment and the building. Design/methodology/approach: This research is based on qualitative research. Findings: The historical value of a place/region is closely related to the traditional aspects that already exist and developed in that areaa. Every effort to preserve historical values and formal existence in a fostered neighbourhood does not impede economic develompent. Instead, they must be able to synergize, support each other, and be in line without sacrifing one or the other. It must also create a strong bond in development. So the conservation aspects is very relevant to be preserved in developing a fostered neighbourhood. Research limitations/imlications: The negative impact of ignorring more essential values on development can reduce the number or historic buildings and areas in most cities in Indonesia from year to year. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of human resource development, organizational culture and leadership style both simultaneously and partially on employee job satisfaction. And also to analyze the dominant influence on employee job satisfaction. Design/methodology/approach: The population in this study were 67employees of automotive muffler industry in Sidoarjo. Questionnaire was used as data collecting method and data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression. Findings: The results of data analysis prove that simultaneously and partially the development of human resources, organizational culture and leadership has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. While the variable that has the dominant influence on employee job satisfaction is the variable of leadership style. Practical implications: The results of this research can be used as a reference to increase employee job satisfaction in manufacturing. Originality/value: The results of the research show that among the variables of human resource development, organizational culture and leadership, the leadership style has a dominant influence on customer satisfaction. Purpose: This paper sought to examine the multifaceted term refugee entrepreneurship from a global level, to a more focused view of the Kenyan context. As such, the authors of this paper examined the general understanding of refugee entrepreneurship in Kenya, assessed the effect of talent displacement with regards to refugee entrepreneurship in Kenya and analyzed the effect of integration and social economic inclusion in relation to refugee entrepreneurship in Kenya. Design/methodology/approach: The paper utilized qualitative research where available secondary data on refugee entrepreneurship was analyzed. Findings: The study found that there appeared to be no clear-cut understanding of refugee entrepreneurship in the Kenyan context, no systematic approach to tackle talent displacement with regards to refugee entrepreneurship in Kenya, and there continued to be barriers to full integration and social economic inclusion with regards to refugee entrepreneurship in Kenya. Research limitations/implications: This study also noted that there is no current global solution to the issue of the ever-increasing number of internally displaced persons, asylum seekers or refugees. On the contrary, the year 2022 has seen an increase in civil strife around the world including; the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Tigray-Ethiopia war and the more than 20-year-old ongoing conflicts in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. Other conflicts of concern on the African continent include; South Sudan, Somalia, Mozambique and other West African nations, while Libya and other North African states have suffered similar civil strife. Despite these ongoing challenges, this study established that there are significant socio-economic contributions of refugee entrepreneurship to host communities. Practical implications: Consequently, the study recommended a more in-depth understanding of refugee entrepreneurship in the context of Kenya, nurture refugee talents and skills while enacting and enabling policies that foster integration and social economic inclusion with regards to refugee entrepreneurship in Kenya. The Government and people of Kenya stand to reap the benefits of refugee entrepreneurship, which in turn reduced refugee talent displacement and continued government handouts that have promoted dependency, rather than self-reliance. Purpose: The study examines the link between indigenous entrepreneurial behaviour and local economic development of Otueke community. The specific objectives were to examine the extent to which indigenes in Otuoke are exploiting their entrepreneurial environment; ascertain the factors militating against the involvement of indigenes of Otuoke from capitalizing on their entrepreneurial environment; examine how indigenous entrepreneurship behaviour leads to sustainable socio-economic development. Design/methodology/approach: The study adopted cross sectional survey design. The study employed a census of 200 entrepreneurial firms in Otuoke community. The data for the study were collected through the distribution of structured questionnaire. The data collected were analysed using percentage and frequency distribution, mean and standard deviation and Chi-Square test of significance. Findings: The results indicated that there was a significant difference between indigenes and non-indigenes with regards to entrepreneurship. The second finding demonstrated that inaccessibility to finance and ignorance among others act as impediments to indigenes from taking advantage of their environment. Further, the result indicated that entrepreneurship behaviour contributed to socio-economic development of the local community. Practical implications: In line with the findings, we recommended among others that relevant agencies of government should fashion out community-based entrepreneurial policy regimes to support local communities and rural indigenous entrepreneurship to foster sustainable socio-economic development. Purpose: The value of the firm is an important factor to determine the success of an enterprise. This study has eight problem formulations. Design/methodology/approach: The variables used in this study are asset growth, sales growth, capital structure, financial distress, the value of the firm, and good corporate governance as moderation. The population used in the study was 26 sub-sectors of food and beverage. As a sample, the researchers used many as 13 sub-sector of food and beverage. The research period was three years (2019-2021) during the pandemic Covid-19. Findings: The results of the study showed that asset growth had no effect or was not significant to the value of the firm, sales growth had no effect or insignificant effect on the value of the firm, and capital structure had an effect, in another word it was significant to the value of the firm, asset growth had no effect or was not significant to financial distress, sales growth had an effect or were significant to financial distress, the capital structure was influential and significant to financial distress, financial distress had no effect or insignificant effect on the value of the firm and financial distress with the value of the firm moderated by good corporate governance produces insignificant. Research limitations/implications: Based on the conceptual framework, researchers used Partial Least Square data processing and obtained three significant results, namely capital structure has a significant effect on the value of the firm, asset growth has a significant effect on financial distress and good corporate governance has a significant effect on the value of the firm. Purpose: PT. PAL Indonesia is a shipping industry that applies advanced technology in its operational processes. This factory is one of the best factories in Indonesia and in the Southeast Asia region. The company conducts an ongoing evaluation due to the fact that there have been delays in design & planning in the last five years. This evaluation is to find solutions to problems that occur, where the performance of employees (ship building project team) is the main concern of the Director. Design/methodology/approach: This research identifies the influence of these factors on the performance of employees (ship construction project team) of PT. PAL Indonesia. The method used is a quantitative approach where data is obtained by distributing questionnaires online to PT. PAL Indonesia. This study involved 91 respondents from employees involved in ship building projects. Then analyzed using SEM – PLS 3.3 (Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square). Findings: Based on the results of the literature review, there are many factors that influence employee performance, some of which include leadership style, organizational commitment, work stress & job satisfaction. Based on the results of the SEM analysis, only 2 variables were obtained that affect the performance of the project team at PT. PAL Indonesia. The most dominant factor is in the transformational leadership variable. Practical implications: The benefits of research results can be input for companies, especially in the field of ship building. Purpose: This study aims to examine the role of good corporate governance (board of directors and board of commissioners) in mediating the bond between intellectual capital and financial performance. Design/methodology/approach: This study obtains data from 264 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2015 – 2020 period. This study employs the Warp PLS 7.0 program. The tested research model is the multiple mediator model, with more than one mediating variables, so it requires multiple mediation analysis. Findings: The results reveal that intellectual capital has no effect on financial performance. Intellectual capital has a significant negative effect on the board of directors and board of commissioners, while the board of directors and board of commissioners have a significant positive effect on financial performance. Practical implications: Intellectual capital affects financial performance through the board of directors and board of commissioners’ as the mediating variables supported by the category of competitive mediation (inconsistent mediation). This competitive mediation provides support for the mediating effect hypothesis. Paper type: Research paper

Purpose: This research was created to develop accounting learning media to increase student motivation and learning outcomes and as an alternative learning media for teachers. The media was developed using the Android-based Canva application at SMK N. 8 Palembang. Media development procedures go through validation tests, practical tests, and effectiveness tests on teaching and learning activities and student learning outcomes. Design/methodology/approach: The research method uses development research using 2 development theories, at the development stage using the Rowntree Model and the evaluation stage using Tessmer. Collecting research data using interviews, questionnaires, observations, and tests in the process of design, development, and evaluation. At the stage after developing the learning media prototype the researcher conducted tests involving learning material experts, learning media design experts, and learning media experts to find out the validation of the media that was made. Findings: The results of the validation test of 4.41 were stated to be very valid. Furthermore, a field validation test was carried out on students at SMK N.8 Palembang for each student (one-to-one) and in small groups based on student observations it was found that 100% practicality was very practical. In the final stage of implementing it in a full class by observing student responses using observation, at the end of the lesson a series of tests were carried out to determine the effect of the media on learning outcomes at 85.71% very good criteria. Practical implications: Based on the research, it can be concluded that Android-based accounting learning media has fulfilled the requirements for validity, practicality and has a good potential effect on student learning activities and outcomes. So that Android-based accounting learning media can be used as an alternative teacher in teaching accounting material for adjusting journal entries. Paper type: Research paper

Purpose: Performance that is not optimal for employees is indicated by the amount of work carried out by employees that has not reached the target and does not meet the needs of society, employee engagement physically and psychologically at work is still relatively low, the suitability of employee work roles is not optimal, and commitment to the organization is still relatively low. All of this will affect the low level of performance of district government employees in achieving organizational goals. Design/methodology/approach: This study uses quantitative research with a causal research design. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Findings: This study found that work role suitability has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and there is a simultaneous significant effect between work role suitability and organizational commitment provided on employee performance.
