MSMEs in Indonesia face fundamental problems in developing business strategies. This research explores the impact of strategic orientation (SO) on business performance. SO involves the integrated role of entrepreneurial orientation (EO), market orientation (MO), and collective orientation (CO) in improving performance. This research also examines the mediating role of CO, MO and the moderating role of EO. Demographic variables are used as control variables. Data obtained from 192 creative industries in Malang Raya with a response rate of 65 percent (124 MSMEs). This study utilizes PLS-SEM methodology to investigate target relationships. The results show that MSME performance is significantly influenced by SO, both EO and MO, but not CO. This confirms the direct influence of EO and MO on performance, as well as the indirect influence of MO on the EO-performance relationship. In addition, this research reveals that the performance of MSMEs managed by women tends to be lower than MSMEs managed by men. This is because the EO characteristics of men are greater than those of women. The implication of these findings is that MSMEs must improve EO and MO. Effective CO needs to be strengthened so that it can make a major contribution to sustainability of MSMEs.

This study aims to empirically prove the effect of entrepreneurial orientation and government support on culinary MSME business performance in Padang City. In addition, this research also aims to prove the role of government support to strengthen the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and culinary MSME business performance in Padang City. In this research, as many as 120 culinary actors managed by gen Z or business actors aged between 16 and 23 years were used at this time. Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires. The data analysis method used is quantitative by using path analysis. The results of testing the hypothesis found that entrepreneurial orientation will encourage increased culinary MSME business performance managed by gen Z in Padang City. The research results obtained also found that government support in the form of financial or non-financial has a strong influence on the performance of micro business businesses managed by gen Z in Padang City. Another finding obtained through our research is that government support moderates the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and business performance. These findings show that the implementation of an entrepreneurial orientation will be carried out and on target if it gets financial or nonfinancial support from the government so that it can encourage increased business performance.

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), especially those operating in the craft industry, often remain overlooked and receive minimal attention from researchers and policymakers even though they have an important role in increasing exports and employment in Indonesia. Nevertheless, craft MSMEs face significant challenges in maximizing innovation and enhancing competitiveness to improve financial performance. Hence, this study aims to investigate how innovation and firm competitiveness influence the financial performance of craft MSMEs. This study utilizes the SEM AMOS analysis tool with data from 403 business actors across three craft centers in West Java: Tasikmalaya, Majelengka, and Bandung. The findings reveal that product, process, and green innovation significantly influence and partially mediate the connection between entrepreneurial orientation and competitiveness. Competitiveness completely mediates the influence of product and green innovation on craft MSMEs' financial performance. Meanwhile, process innovation significantly impacts financial performance both directly and indirectly, emphasizing its importance in enhancing competitiveness and financial outcomes. Continuous improvement and innovation are crucial for boosting competitiveness and financial performance.

Unemployment of university graduates has been a severe problem faced by all parties involved in the world of work. Therefore, students are expected to be ready to join the workforce and pursue career development after graduation. This research examined the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and student employability in facing challenges at the workplace. Entrepreneurial Orientation involves the processes, practices, and decision-making activities aimed at achieving successful outcomes. It impacts students' employability, encompassing the skills, knowledge, and personal attributes that enhance graduates' chances of securing employment and thriving in their chosen careers. This, in turn, benefits the individuals, the workforce, the community, and the economy. This research used a survey method, and the data was collected through an online questionnaire. A total of 478 final-year students of universities in West Java Province, chosen using the quota sampling technique, participated in this study. The linear regression analysis showed a significant influence of entrepreneurial orientation on employability by 50.2%. This shows that entrepreneurial orientation will affect the higher employability of final-year students in their career development.

The objects studied and the areas studied in this research are how a business can maintain sustainability and increase its business competitiveness, in this case, cooperatives in the city of Malang, as well as to grow the community's economy through the implementation of entrepreneurship-oriented strategies, the business environment towards innovation and performance strategies cooperative. The role of cooperatives in creating jobs and improving the welfare of their members with the principle that cooperatives are run "from, by, and for their members." The business world, primarily cooperatives, and small and medium enterprises, faces various challenges and must achieve Performance that will increase competitiveness and maintain business sustainability. For this reason, cooperatives must be more creative, innovative, agile, and intelligent in implementing their strategies. This research examines and analyzes the relationship between the business environment, entrepreneurial orientation, innovation, and Performance. Business in the era of information technology requires organizations to adapt to environmental changes and business competition, which is increasingly stringent, requiring cooperatives to provide products and services that are more market-oriented in order to be able to produce innovations that are in line with technological advances and market segments, so that Performance will increase.

In the first quarter of 2022, only ten percent of Indonesia's food and beverage industry has received halal certification. This small percentage means this research aims to support SMEs by investigating the influence of halal certification, entrepreneurial orientation, gaining competitive advantage, and adopting business sustainability. This research is a quantitative type of explanatory research with a population of 485 SMEs in the food and beverage sector in Kendal regency. Meanwhile, the sample used purposive sampling and obtained 200 respondents from SME owners. Structural equation modelling (SEM) is used with the Smart-PLS test tool as an analysis technique. This research's findings show a positive and significant influence between halal certification and entrepreneurial orientation on competitive advantage and business sustainability. Apart from that, competitive advantage positively and significantly influences business sustainability. Competitive advantage can directly mediate the influence between entrepreneurial orientation and halal certification on business sustainability, which shows a positive and significant direction. This research makes a significant academic contribution by investigating the relationship between halal certification, entrepreneurial orientation, and competitive advantage in SME sustainability.

MSMEs have become the foundation for growth in various countries, including Indonesia. Especially in West Java, MSMEs play an essential role in absorbing labour. However, MSMEs in West Java face an uncertain business environment and difficulties in creating products that suit market needs. This research will use the Resource Based View (RBV) and Dynamic Capability View (DCV) theories. This research examines the influence of entrepreneurial orientation on the innovation performance of MSMEs by using foresight capabilities as a mediating variable. 245 MSMEs were collected as respondents to fill out the survey questionnaire. The MSMEs used in this research are from West Java, with the main characteristics of operating for more than one year and developing new products for at least two years. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to test the research framework. It was found that entrepreneurial orientation can influence the innovation performance of MSMEs positively and significantly. The influence of foresight capabilities on MSME product innovation performance has a positive effect. The mediating effect of foresight capabilities on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and product innovation performance was partially mediated. MSMEs that behave more entrepreneurially benefit from being more proactive, innovative, and risk-taking in an uncertain market environment. Product innovation can be achieved through a good understanding of entrepreneurial orientation mediated by an understanding of Foresight to process information for future decisions. Finally, managerial and theoretical implications and future research are presented.

This study examines the impact of technology orientation on entrepreneurial orientation and its consequent effect on the innovation performance of Indonesian startups. In this study, 156 local startups were examined using the structural equation model (SEM). The results demonstrate a significant and positive relationship between innovation performance and both entrepreneurial and technology orientation. Notably, the technology orientation has a positive effect on the entrepreneurial orientation, which partially mediates the indirect relationship between the technology orientation and innovation performance. This study's integrated framework concept to enhance the innovation performance of startups in emerging economies is unprecedented. The findings also urge businesses to adopt proactive, inventive, and risk-taking practices to keep up with the rapid pace of technological advancements. Certain limitations of this study must be acknowledged, including the subjective evaluation of constructs by senior management and the deliberate selection of the sample. To advance this topic further, it is suggested that future research include objective data gathered through assessments by various stakeholders and investigate case studies of designated businesses. This research examines the influence of entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial skills on the performance of SMEs in the food and beverage sector in Batu, East Java. The population in this study is food and beverage SMEs owners in the town of Batu, and the samples taken in this study are 50 respondents using non-probability sampling techniques with a purposive sampling method based on predetermined criteria. The first criterion is having more than five employees; the second criterion is the length of time the business has been running for over two years. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive and verification analysis. The data used in this research is primary data from questionnaires distributed and secondary data from websites, BPS, and journals. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis and Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) version 3.0 and SPSS version 22. This research found that the first and second hypotheses were accepted, where the entrepreneurial orientation variable had a positive and significant effect on SMEs performance, and entrepreneurial skills had a positive and significant impact on SMEs performance. The findings of this research can become a reference for business actors, academics, and the government in their relations regarding the performance of SMEs.

Purpose ─ This paper aims to examine the role of entrepreneurial orientation for SMEs in building business continuity in eastern Indonesia and highlight strengthening government support for the sustainability of post-covid SME entities. Design/methodology/approach ─ A random sampling approach was used to select the respondents, with closed questions used for a sample of 400 SME owner-managers in eastern Indonesia using the structural equation modelling technique (PLS-SEM). Findings ─ The results show that the ability of SME owner-managers to build business longevity is determined more by their strong entrepreneurial orientation than by government support. In the context of this study, the government’s support policy for SMEs in eastern Indonesia is ineffective. Limitations/research implications – This research selects the characteristics of the living company by Geus, which positions business entities as living beings, as an indicator of business longevity. Practical implications - Based on research results, the sustainability of SMEs in eastern Indonesia can be built based on the owner-managers entrepreneurial orientation. Meanwhile, government support still needs to be maximized. Originality/value ─ The contribution of three determinants of government support to SMEs is analyzed to determine the acceleration of the survival of SMEs after Covid.

The development of MSMEs in the city of Padang has experienced a relatively high increase over the past 2 years, even though it was hit by Covid-19 and it is different from other regions which generally have experienced a decline. This study aims to analyze the effect of market orientation, learning orientation and entrepreneurial orientation on marketing performance in serving culinary MSMEs in Padang City. This study used purposive sampling for the sampling technique. The data were processed using SPSS version 27. The results of the study found that market orientation, learning orientation and entrepreneurial orientation had a positive effect on marketing performance. Specifically, entrepreneurial orientation has the most dominant influence, followed by learning orientation and market orientation

Small-medium business enterprises play an important role in the national economics. As such, the performance of small-medium enterprises should be optimized through various efforts among others; increasing financial literacy and entrepreneurship orientation of the businessman/woman themselves. The current research was conducted because there are some performance issues with the small-middle enterprise ‘Tenun Gringsing’ in Tenganan Village, Karangasem. In an effort to optimize and increase performance of the small-middle enterprise, there needs to be a competent financial literacy and a strong entrepreneurship orientation. The purpose of the current study is to study the effect of financial literacy and entrepreneurship orientation on the performance of small-medium enterprise “Tenun Gringsing” in Tenaganan Village Karangasem partially and simultaneously. This research applied a quantitative method. Population studied is 80 businesspeople of the small-medium “Tenun Gringsing” enterprise. Saturated sampling technique was used. Data was collected using interview, observation, survey, and documentation study methods. Data was analyzed using a Mutiple Regression Analysis. The results of the study indicated that there is a positive and significant effect (partially and simultaneously) of financial literacy (X1) and entrepreneurship orientation (X2) towards performance (Y).

The Tangerang City convection MSMEs experienced a shock from a decline in demand due to economic instability caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Tangerang City MSMEs need a survival strategy to be able to maintain their business in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the MSMEs of Tangerang City are still experiencing obstacles in their entrepreneurial orientation and product innovation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial orientation and product innovation on the marketing performance of MSMEs in Tangerang City. The sample is 100 respondents. The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to the MSMEs business actors in Tangerang City. The data analysis technique used regression analysis with the help of SPSS software version 22. This study resulted in both partial and simultaneous entrepreneurial orientation and product innovation having a positive and significant effect on marketing performance. This study found that to improve marketing performance, business owners are responsible for finding solutions to obstacles that occur, proactively see opportunities by innovating to create new products to meet the needs of existing customers and new consumers, seek innovation ideas by listening to consumer desires and making products. that has distinctive characteristics, to continue to innovate and improve the quality of the products produced, and to increase business targets and expand product marketing so as to increase profits. The implication of this research is that MSMEs have to use online technology, namely social media and e-commerce market places in order to reach wider consumers, innovate in design and style so as to increase business profits.

This research aims to explain the Role of Market Orientation, Entrepreneurial Orientation and SME Performance Improvement Strategies. The population in the study was 15 employees of Citra Sari Snack and Catering Tanjungpinang. Sampling with saturated techniques, then the number of samples as many as 15 employees. This type of research is quantitative research. On the questionnaire conducted a test of validity and reliability. The data is analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, including the t test, the F test and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that partially variables of Market Orientation Role (X1), Entrepreneurial Orientation (X2), and Competitive Strategy (X3) had a significant effect on SME Performance (Y). The results of the F test obtained a calculated F value of 38,783 with a table F value of 3.89 identifying that the variables of Market Orientation Role, Entrepreneurial Orientation and Competing Strategies have a significant effect on the SME Performance variable (Y). Based on the determination coefficient test, about 89% of SME Performance variables are affected by Market Orientation Role, Entrepreneurship Orientation, and Competitive Strategy. The entrepreneurial orientation that affects the performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Jember is a research objective. The study population was 172 micro, small and medium enterprises in Jember. This research uses 100 respondents with simple random sampling technique. The research respondents were the owners of the MSME as informants. Collecting data by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Partial Least Square (PLS) software. The results showed that the autonomous dimension had a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs, while the other dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation: innovation, proactivity and risk had no significant effect.

This study focuses on the effect of Islamic Work Ethics (IWE) and Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO) on the Financial Performance (FP) of Muslim-family-owned-micro businesses in Indonesia. The sample was obtained from micro-enterprises registered with OK-OCE (social institutions that function as entrepreneurship centers in various districts). The purposive sampling method is used with the criteria of Muslim family-owned businesses and home industries that produce food and beverages, restaurants, and cafes. Using a SmartPLS software (PLS-SEM method), 246 micro-business data samples were processed and analyzed. The result shows that IWE has a significantly positive influence on EO; secondly, EO has a significantly positive influence on FP; while last, IWE has no significant impact on FP. However, the IWE indirectly positively affects financial performance through EO as the mediating variable. This empirical evidence contributes a novelty in Islamic Work Ethics and entrepreneurship literature, especially in Indonesia. For further research, there are several suggestions, such as using objective financial performance data; using other sectors or industries as the sample, such as the apparel industry; and including a moderating variable such as business regulation, etc.

This study attempts to explain the influence of orientation entrepreneurship and financial access on their performance. Business research by analyzing the effectiveness of the KUR program bri given to the offender SME’s in Blitar East Java. With a technique, the sample collection non-probability in random proportionate, with the data was path analysis. The result showed that orientation entrepreneurship positive effect on access to finance, entrepreneurial orientation also has a relationship significantly to the performance of businesses either directly or indirectly financial access addition, financial access to depend on the performance of business.

The sustainability of economic growth has a high compatibility that can be realized and spearheaded by entrepreneurship. Proximity with the market and requirement needs by the customers, will add more value. Since the operation, Semarang- Batang Highway, had some impact on the degradation in restaurant customers and eateries that get through the Pantura Track in Kendal District. This research in order of purpose, has the ability to know the influence of entrepreneurship orientation and market orientation to sustainable advantage and business performance towards excellences for the exact purpose of surviving in the present. In regards to this research, the aggregate of population for eatery an restaurant that incorporated in PHRI (Perhimpunan Hotel dan Restoran Indonesia) in Kendal District has a total of 72 business unit, survey that held to the Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, or Business Owner in November and December 2020. The obtained data processed through SEM by PLS 3 application. The result of this research shows that variable entrepreneurship orientation and market orientation show impact on competitive advantage. The competitive advantage has some impact on business performance. Purpose: The aim of research to proved and analyzed strategy to improve cooperative performance through organizational culture, innovation in mediation with entrepreneurship orientation in surabaya city. Design/methodology/approach: The type of this research was surveying research and the data from questionnaire will be as primer data. Findings: The results showed that organizational culture positive and significant effect against the entrepreneurial orientation, innovation is a positive and significant effect against the entrepreneurial orientation, organizational culture positive and significant effect performance improvement strategies towards cooperative, positive effect not significant innovation strategy improved performance of cooperatives, entrepreneurial orientation effect positive and significant performance improvement strategies against the cooperative. Research limitations/implications: The data collected were declared valid and reliable, then processed for analysis using structural equation model or Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Practical implications: The population study for this research was all primary cooperatives in Surabaya with total 400 cooperatives that have the following characteristics: (a) has a member of a minimum of 100 people, (b) active of operations and implement RAT for 3 years successively, (c) has more than two business units (d) and has assets of over 1 billion rupiah. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are currently important players in international trade. Commitment from business actors and wider networks are required to not only penetrate the international market but also to survive and compete at the national and international levels. This study aims to analyze entrepreneurial orientation, network capabilities, and innovation on the performance of SMEs in the international market. This study used a survey method by giving questionnaires and interviews to 75 manufacturing SMEs in the district and city of Madiun. The results of this study indicate that all entrepreneurial orientation variables, network capability, and innovation have positive and significant effects on the performance of SMEs in the international market. This study contributes to the internationalization of SME's literature by analyzing the influence of entrepreneurship orientation, networking capabilities, and innovation on SME performance in international markets, especially for manufacturing companies.

This study aims to verify of the relationship between Entrepreneurship Orientation and Market Orientation to Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Performance, using the Resource Based View (RBV) theory approach. The research object used was SME entrepreneurs in DKI Jakarta. This research uses a quantitative research design. The data used in this research consists of primary data and collected through Google Forms, which are distributed online. The amount of data collected was 190 samples. The collected data will be analyzed using SEM-PLS Version 3.3.2. Statistical analysis test the outer and inner models. The results obtained indicate that Entrepreneurship Orientation plays a role in SME Performance, and Market Orientation does not affect SME Performance. The implication of this research shows that the Resource Based View theory is right to explain the relationship between Entrepreneurial Orientation and SME Performance because SME performance will be better if it has Entrepreneurial Orientation.

The primary purpose of this study was to propose a conceptual framework on the impact of entrepreneurial orientation (EO) on SMEs performance in Ghana: The role of social capital (SC) and government support policies (GSPs). The study re­viewed existing literature pertaining the five dimensions of EO and used measures of SC, and GSPs in relation to SMEs performance in Ghana. This study would be anchored on two theories thus the resource-based view and the social capital theories stressing the need for SMEs to focus more on their unique resources that existed with­in their social network relations. The study would further provide new insight to prac­titioners to understand and appreciate the role of SC and GSPs on SMEs performance.

This study aims to examine the influence of Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO), Market Orientation (MO), and Financial Orientation (FO) on the Performance of Karawo SMEs. The research design used was quantitative analysis by using multiple regression analysis tools. It was found that entrepreneurial orientation did not affect the performance of Karawo SMEs, market orientation did not affect the performance of Karawo SMEs. However, the finding regarding financial orientation was different. It found that market orientation influenced the performance of Karawo SMEs in Gorontalo City. Therefore, based on research findings obtained, to improve the performance of SMEs, further research can develop the existing models by adding two variables, namely customer value and strategy orientation, in improving SME performance. Also, SME performance should be classified into two parts, namely financial performance, and non-financial performance.

Extant literatures suggest that personal characteristics of entrepreneurs have a large impact on a business performance. The Resource Based View, regards the characteristics of the entrepreneur as a unique resource for the company that will become a competitive advantage. So far, personal characteristics and entrepreneurial demographic factors are more associated with entrepreneurial intentions, this study will analyze the role of demographic factors, namely educational background, family, experience, and motivation on a business performance, while also examining the role of entrepreneurial orientation, namely innovation, proactivity, and risk taking in mediating these effects. The research sample consisted of owners/managers from 160 business units in Malang area (Malang City, Batu, and Malang Regency), while the data analysis technique used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that demographic factors influence business performance and entrepreneurial orientation, so educational background, family background, business experience, and motivation are determinants of a business performance while enhancing entrepreneurial orientation. Entrepreneurial orientation acts as a mediator of demographic factors affecting business performance.

Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO) and Total Quality Management (TQM) are often referred to as antecedents of growth, competitive advantage and business performance by previous research. This research is the first investigation in a literature study that attempts to show the relationship between EO and TQM concepts on business performance. In this study, we use a multidimensional model on EO and TQM concepts and test a series of hypotheses related to business performance using student business data surveys in the MSMEs scale of Surabaya, East Java. It is expected that the results of this study can answer prepositional questions, whether the two strategies can help improve the performance of MSME-scale businesses in developing countries

This study aims to test the effect of entrepreneurial market orientation (EMO) as the development of entrepreneurial orientation concept. Particularly, this study tested the dimensions of EMO name innovation, customer orientation, market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation on marketing performance. To answer the proposed research objectives, this study used multiple regression analysis. Self-administered questionnaires were distributed into one hundred respondents while only 67 questionnaires collected. The results of multiple regression showed innovation has a positive significant effect on marketing performance. Similar to innovation, this study indicated that customer orientation has a positive significant effect on marketing performance. As proposed in the hypothesis, this study found that market orientation positively affected marketing orientation. Entrepreneurial orientation as the dimension of EMO was shown to have a significant effect on marketing performance. After the completion of this study, both theoretical and practical contribution are provided.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation terhadap kinerja perusahaan melaui absorptive capacity. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada pada Hotel Non Bintang di Kepulauan Riau. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Partial Least Square Structural Equation Market (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan program SmartPLS Versi 3. Sampel penelitian ini adalah manajer/direktur hotel non bintang di Kepulauan Riau. Hasil penelitian ini adalah mengungkapkan bahwa market orientation berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan dan absorptive capacity berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Hasil lainnya adalah market orientation berpengaruh positif berpengaruh positif terhadap inovasi, entrepreneurial orientation berpengaruh positif terhadap inovasi, market orientation berpengaruh positif terhadap absorptive capabsorptive capacity, entrepreneurial orientation berpengaruh positif terhadap absorptive capacity. Pada penelitian ini juga ditemukan bahwa market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan dengan mediasi absorptive capacity

The number of sales each year always decreases to the background in this study. The research aims to determine the influence of entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation on MSMEs performance. Methods used using a sampling method purposive distribute questionnaires for 32 respondents in the Wisata Kuliner Toserba Selamat Sukabumi. Analytical techniques use multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing using partial tests and simultaneous testing. Result Determination (RSquare) 0.457 which means the effect of entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation for MSMEs performance 45.7% remaining amount of 54.3% is influenced by other variables. Based on the results of entrepreneurship orientation to the performance of UMKM reached Tcount 1,293 > Ttable 1.69, and the market orientation for UMKM performance shows the value of Tcount 2,304 > Ttable 1.69 means to have influence and significance. The result of the F-test has been done, the value of Fcount 12,227 > Ftable 3.33 means the orientation of entrepreneurship and market orientation positively and significantly towards MSMEs performance. means to have influence and significance.

The problem of Muntok Pepper business performance continues to decline due to the inability of farmers to face price uncertainty, recognize and understand market conditions. The fact is that the number of business actors continues to grow. Competing to face changes in the business environment is necessary, so entrepreneurial farmers are needed. This study aims to look at the postharvest process carried out by Muntok Pepper farmers and analyze whether entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation are determinant factors that affect the postharvest handling process. The research method used a survey method involving 60 farmers. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), data analysis was carried out using smart Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results showed that the postharvest handling process was significantly influenced by entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation, but entrepreneurial orientation influence was greater than market orientation. Farmers carry out postharvest handling of Muntok Pepper in two stages. 50% of farmers carry out threshing, soaking, and drying processes. 50% of farmers do not do the sorting, grading, and milling process. Farmers’ decisions in postharvest handling are more influenced by the influence of the entrepreneurial orientation of farmers. Farmers who are motivated to excel, dare to take risks, and are willing to innovate by using new production methods tend to carry out a good postharvest handling process, not only threshing, soaking, and drying but also sort and process pepper derivative products.

This study aims to analyze the effect of product innovation, entrepreneurial orientation, and competitive advantage on marketing performance; test the effect of product innovation and entrepreneurial orientation towards marketing performance through competitive advantage as a mediation variable. The sample in this study was 69 owners of small and medium industries bakery in Ponorogo Residence who had made innovations on their products. The sampling technique in this study uses total sampling. Data analysis techniques used the approach Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results found that product innovation has a direct positive effect on marketing performance, entrepreneurial orientation has a direct positive effect on marketing performance, product innovation has a direct positive effect on competitive advantage, entrepreneurial orientation has a direct positive effect on competitive advantage, competitive advantage has a direct positive effect on marketing performance, product innovation has a positive effect on marketing performance through competitive advantage, and entrepreneurial orientation has a positive effect on marketing performance through competitive advantage. Competitive advantage acts as a partial mediating variable.

The purposes of this study are to determine the direct and indirect effects of market and entrepreneurial orientation on competitive advantage through dynamic capabilities and to prove the role of dynamic capabilities as an intervening variable. This research is a field research study on creative industries in Malang, Indonesia. A sample of 100 respondents was selected by accidental sampling technique. Data was obtained through questionnaire survey and processed with Partial Least Square analysis. The results showed that market and entrepreneurial orientation had a positive and significant direct effect on competitive advantage, it also had a indirectly effect through dynamic capabilities, and dynamic capabilities consisting is not able enough to mediate market and entrepreneurial orientation on the competitive advantage. An integration of market and entrepreneurial orientation to create high dynamic capabilities and strong competitive advantage is a must for creative industries. To become a strong industry that has high dynamic capabilities to compete, the creative industries should increase information acquisition so that products are more in line with customer expectations.

This research analyzes the relationship between social capital and business performance with entrepreneurship orientation as an intermediary variable. This research was conducted in 4 (four) communities of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Malang city with a population of 324 business actors. Proportional Cluster Random Sampling technique was applied, involving 90 respondents who are members of the MSMEs community. The data was gathered through questionnaires. The findings showed that social capital significantly affects entrepreneurial orientation as well as business performance. It is also found that Entrepreneurship Orientation has a significant influence on Business Performance. Lastly, it is found that the effect of Social Capital on Business Performance was mediated by Entrepreneurial Orientation. Â

Peneliti berusaha membantu untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang perekonomian yang masih belum optimal pada masyarakat UMKM Batik Tulis Di Jawa Tengah dan dalam peningkatan ekonomi kreatif yang bersinergi dalam meningkatkan kinierja bisnis dalam suatu organisasi UMKM Batik Tulis di Jawa Tengah, sehingga tingkat pendapatan UMKM Batik Tulis di masayarakat sekitar Jawa Tengah. dapat meningkat pula. Peneliti mengambil sampel sekitar 200 orang pengusaha yang memiliki Usaha UMKM Batik di Jawa Tengah dan menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif serta menggunakan alat analisa SEM AMOUS dan lokasi sudah ditentukan di peneliti, dari suatu temuan diharapkan untuk ditemukan hasil yang positif terhadap perkembangan bisnis UMKM Batik Tulis tersebut dan dapat membantu tingkat profit penjualan dan dapat memperbaiki tingkat teknologi yang digunakan oleh pengusaha serta meningkatkan tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat UMKM Batik Jateng. Dan dapat meningkatkan Kinerja pada organisasi UMKM Batik Tulis di Jawa Tengah.

Creative industries significantly contribute to Indonesia economic development. There are many problems faced especially in improving innovation capabilities and competitive advantages. This study proposes to examine the effect of collaborative networks and entrepreneurial orientation to innovation capabilities, competitivee advantage and performance. Some creative industries located at several cities in the Central Java Province. Sampling methods used in this study is purposive sampling and data is analyzed by the multiple linier regressions. The result of this study shows that entrepreneurial orientation significantly affects both the innovation capability and performance. Collaborative networks significantly affects both the innovation capability and competitive advantage. Furthermore, the result shows that entrepreneurial orientation, innovation capability and competitive advantage significantly affect the performance. Nevertheless, it shows that collaborative networks do not significantly affect the performance.

Based on investor perspective, Surabaya city is still recognized as a promising investation land especially in the tourism industry. As can be seen based on recent last three years, whereas a lot of new hotel establishment is introduced. The presence of these new hotel establishments could be the indicator of tourism and economic growth in Surabaya city. However, growth may also lead to tighter competition. Therefore, to competitively compete during its early years, new hotel establishment should have a strategic orientation within its business operations with additional innovation breakthrough to create value or a competitive advantage. New hotel establishment also should maintain its good performance. This research is conducted to observe the implementation of Strategic Orientation, especially related with Learning Orientation and Entrepreneurial Orientation which is conducted by the establishment to achieve a better performance, which is also supported by the predesigned innovative programs. The empirical result based on 49 new hotel establishment in Surabaya city as the research sample, indicated indirect relationship between Learning Orientation and Entrepreneurial Orientation to performance with innovation as the mediator. It is suggested to add Market Orientation as the intervening variables for the future research especially regarding the role of Strategic Orientation and Innovation in new hotel establishments due to their infancy stage.

Ketiga model ini menawarkan hubungan kompetensi individu, orientasi kewirausahaan dan orientasi pesaing untuk mendapatkan produk sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Produk yang dihasilkan menjadi produk yang berkualitas akan menjadi produk yang berdaya saing karena produk berkualitas akan menjadi produk unggulan yang diperebutkan konsumen sehingga kualitas produk akan memengaruhi keunggulan bersaing.
