In an increasingly complex and volatile business environment, organizational project risk management plays a critical role in determining the chances of project success. Project management has become a common tool in the hands of large organizations for executing development and improving their production cycles in a more carefully planned way. However, the future is often hard to predict, and unexpected events may occur which could have been avoided with the use of the right tools and mindset. This comprehensive research study aims to showcase the importance of continuous risk management in organizations and highlight how risk management contributes to successful project outcomes. By synthesizing information from 59 high-quality publications from Scopus and Web of Science, the research describes various risk mitigation methodologies used across diverse fields, and explores potential obstacles faced by project managers when executing risk management strategies. The primary research of the study builds upon a survey conducted with 181 experienced project managers across various industries to gain deeper insights into their risk management approaches and the constraints they may encounter. Additionally, the study seeks to analyse the value of obtaining project management certificates in relationship with led projects’ length and budget. Employing SPSS, the research presents descriptive statistics, regression, and correlation calculations to further analyse the data gathered. The aim of the research is to draw attention to the significance of continuous risk management, propose effective methodologies, identify and mitigate potential challenges, and shed light on the potential benefits of having certifications in the field of project management. This study aims to present valuable knowledge for both researchers and organizations striving to better understand the field of project risk management strategies through the systematic literature review and quantitative research results presented.

This research aims to investigate the physical and mechanical properties of soft soil stabilized using industrial wastes, namely fly ash and rice husk ash. For this purpose, 6 (six) variations in the composition of fly ash (F), lime (L), and rice husk ash (R) were prepared. The variations in sample composition are SFLR1 (F: 15%, L: 2.5%, R: 5%), SFLR2 (F: 20%, L: 2.5%, R: 5%), SFLR3 (F: 25%, L: 2.5%, R: 5%), SFLR4 (F: 15%, L: 5%, R: 10%), SFLR5 (F: 20%, L: 5%, R: 10%) and SFLR6 (F: 25%, L: 5%, R: 10%). Meanwhile, soft soil was obtained from Banjarmasin City in South Borneo. The sample's physical properties were analyzed using the Atterberg limit test. Moreover, the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) and direct share tests are conducted to assess the sample's mechanical properties. The research results can provide confidence that fly ash, lime, and rice husk ash have the potential to improve the physical and mechanical properties of Borneo soft soil. The results of the Atterberg limit test show that industrial wastes can lower the liquid limit and increase the plastic limit; thus, the soil plasticity index decreases. As for the CBR test results, the untreated soft soil bearing ratio value of 1.4% can be increased to 2.6% after being treated with industrial wastes. In addition, using industrial wastes also decreases the swelling of the soil. Moreover, it can be seen that greater use of fly ash can improve the mechanical properties of the soft soil. However, increasing the composition of lime and rice husk ash can reduce the mechanical properties of the soft soil. Based on the experimental results, it is proposed to use SFLR3 as soil stabilization mixtures.

The tourism industry in China has undergone significant changes due to globalization, technology, and changing consumer preferences. This perspective article, based on a systematic literature review, examines examines trends, challenges, and opportunities in inbound and outbound tourism in China, focusing on the industry's dynamism. Both inbound and outbound tourism have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has prompted new strategies and environmental adaptations. China has changed its priorities within the country to encourage domestic travel and support local firms. The rise in internationalisation and the growing middle class in China have led to an unprecedented rise in outbound travel. Chinese travellers are affecting travel habits and spending all around the world in the tourism sector. Language barriers, cultural differences, and safety concerns are some of the challenges that come with travelling abroad. To reach its full potential, China needs to adapt to the shifting global environment and take into account the specifications and preferences of both inbound and outgoing tourists.

A globális platformgazdaság iparági értéke a 21. század második évtizedének végére meghaladta a 7 billió amerikai dollárt. A platform gazdaság által termelt bevétel az Európai Unióban közel ötszörös növekedést produkált a 2016-2020 közötti időszakban, azáltal, hogy volumenének növekedése 3 milliárd euróról 14 milliárd euróra változott. Mindazonáltal a platform üzleti modell és munka behatárolása, jogi szabályozása és ellenőrizhetősége, megfeleltethetősége, innovatív voltából adódóan, globális konszenzus, valamint precedens hiányában világ- és európai szinten is megoldatlan. A cikk célkitűzése a platform gazdaság, valamint a platform munka körülményeinek, szabályainak és gyakorlatban való alkalmazásának a meghatározása, nemzetközi (angol nyelvű, többségben európai) szekunder információkra támaszkodva, ezáltal a problémák és nehézségek feltárása, valamint előnyeinek és hátrányainak tárgyalása.

Entrepreneurship, which people can have without formal economic education, is a tendency acquired through upbringing in the family, competition in school, implies risk and constant self-affirmation through the acquisition of profits and losses, so that it represents the sum of successes and failures, victory and defeat. In the last thirty years, female entrepreneurship has been developing more and more, especially in less developed countries, the reason for such growth is primarily reflected in the promotion of equality between men and women, the right to education, and the development of democracy. Female entrepreneurship is a significant factor in economic development, so the national economy becomes richer. The subject of this research are the entrepreneurial climate in the Balkans compared to the world in terms of female entrepreneurship, what is the role of the family in starting a small business, as well as its survival and growth. In the study the results of previous research in this area. The research method is based on a comparative analysis of studies dealing with this problem from the territory of Balkans. It can be concluded that in the Balkans, female entrepreneurship is still in its infancy, it is about a very small percentage of female entrepreneurs, although according to research, it is evident that there has been no major progress in the last 15 years. Recommendation In the countries of the Balkans, there is a good entrepreneurial climate for the development of female entrepreneurship, especially because women can work from home, and in the future it is necessary to go in this direction.

Jelen tanulmány célja, hogy nyilvánosan elérhető adatok és meggyhűtő konténer specifikációja alapján javaslatot tegyünk telepítési helyszínek kiválasztására, valamint a lehetséges helyszíneken becslést végezzünk a telepítendő konténerek mennyiségére. A napjainkban eszkalálódó üzemanyagellátási- és üzemanyagár- szélsőségek különösen fontossá teszik egy ésszerű logisztikai részmegoldás kidolgozását a termelés, betakarítás, tárolás, feldolgozás, értékesítés összetett folyamatában. Egy olyan térinformatikai rendszer kidolgozására vállalkoztunk, amely gazdaságosan felépíthető és üzemeltethető, adatforrásai alkalmanként vagy akár rendszeres időközönként frissíthetők, alkalmas arra, hogy további leíró- vagy térbeli adatokkal más kimenetek állítson elő.

Governance is crucial for effective sports organization management, particularly as sports organizations increasingly adopt business models. Research inquiries into suitable governance practices in sports have grown, reflecting the evolving landscape of sports management. This qualitative research examined the governance of the Moroccan Judo Federation through semi-structured interviews and analysis using Voyant Tools. Stakeholders, including the vice president, board members, coaches, athletes, referees, technical committee members, and financial manager, provided insights on key aspects of governance. The findings emphasized the importance of strong leadership, effective decision-making processes, transparent governance structures, stakeholder engagement, and ethical conduct. However, challenges were identified in decision-making, stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and financial management. Stakeholders highlighted the need for inclusive decision-making processes and transparent and accountable governance practices. By addressing these challenges, the federation can strengthen its governance, support judo's growth, and foster fairness and inclusivity.

A vasúti közlekedés zajemissziója kiemelkedő fontosságú téma, mivel hatással van mind a környezetre, mind az emberek egészségére és életminőségére. A zajszennyezés számos forrása között a vasúti járművek és az infrastruktúra jelentős szerepet játszanak. A vasúti zajemisszióval kapcsolatban megállapítható, hogy a zajhatásokat számos tényező befolyásolja. Ilyen tényezők lehetnek a vonatok sebessége, a pálya állapota, a vontatási technológia és az alkalmazott zajcsökkentő intézkedések. A zajterhelés negatív hatásai közé tartozik az alvászavar, a stressz, és a mentális egészségromlás. Ezenkívül befolyásolja a lakott területeken élők életminőségét és az ingatlanok értékét is. A vasúti közlekedés zajemissziójának csökkentése kulcsfontosságú az egészségesebb és fenntarthatóbb városi környezet kialakításában. Ennek érdekében fontos a modern zajcsökkentő technológiák alkalmazása, az infrastruktúra fejlesztése és a zajvédelmi intézkedések hatékony implementációja. A közlekedési hatóságoknak és vasúti vállalatoknak együtt kell működniük a zajmentesebb vasúti közlekedés megvalósítása érdekében, az emberek életminőségének javítása és a környezetvédelem érdekében.

This study aims to determine the valuation value of Henbuk's startup by conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses. Henbuk is a startup engaged in e-commerce. The Henbuk startup is currently in the initial funding stage, and the founders are opening opportunities for investors, which can later support operational and development activities. In obtaining funding from investors, the Henbuk startup requires an initial assessment of the company's value. The score assessment consists of several indicators, e.g., quality of the founder and team, opportunity size, product and technology, competition, marketing, sales and partnerships, and the need for additional investment. The results of the value assessment are obtained by using the Scorecard Assessment Method. The results of this study may help to determine the real value of other start-ups for the investors in the future.

PT XYZ is one of the largest telecommunication companies in Indonesia. In 2020, PT XYZ implemented a digital transformation to increase its excellence by investing in industry telecommunication and information systems (IT/IS) enterprise resource planning software called SAP (System Application and Processing) S/4 HANA Cloud. The study aims to analyze the benefits of these IT investments made in PT XYZ. The results are carried out using the Comparative Analysis of Financial Statements followed by Business Value and Financial Feasibility Analysis and the Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) method between 2018 and 2021. It can be revealed that the SAP S/4 Hana Cloud investment benefits the company's operations, which are identified in the form of 5 sub-categories that fall into required categories based on Ranti's Generic IT/IS Business Value.

2021. február 11-én a mátészalkai Esze Tamás Gimnáziumban motivációs előadást tartottam, és a tanulókkal egy tesztfeladatsort töltettem ki. Tanulmányomban választ kerestem arra, hogy az érettségi előtt álló diákok hogyan viszonyulnak a matematika feladatok megoldásához. A fő célkitűzés annak vizsgálata volt, hogy a tisztán matematikai vagy az alkalmazásszemléletű feladatok oldják-e meg szívesebben, és hogy melyikben érnek el jobb eredményeket. Ebben a cikkben a kapott eredményeket elemzem.

The height determination of control and detail points is essential during the process of planning and manufacturing in the practice of civil engineering. Planning maps are drawn for the former, while the intended plan is set out on the ground during manufacturing, and after the manufacturing the completed installation is mapped. Using the same reference system in all three steps, both horizontally and vertically, is recommended even though in some cases it is unavoidable to change from one reference level to another. Regardless of the fact that both refer to the mean sea level of the Baltic Sea, this can create difficulties, since the difference between the EOMA and Bendefy networks used in Hungary shows varying values depending on the geographical location. The aim of the analysis is to determine a constant difference regarding the analysed settlements based on the common points of the networks.

In this paper a detailed analysis is given for the pure bending problem of curved beams. The material of the curved beam is homogenous isotropic linearly elastic. The mantle of the curved beam is stress free and there is no body force on the curved beam. The plane of the curvature of the beam is the plane of symmetry for the whole beam. Paper gives the expressions of circumferential and radial normal stresses. A strength of material approach is used to derive the governing equations. A numerical example illustrates the application of the presented solutions.

This study presents the results of finite element simulations based on different variations of the flow curve of DC04 automotive thin sheet. The aim of our research is to investigate how different flow curve equations affect the variation of sheet thickness in cup drawing tests. In order to exclude other influencing factors in the experiment, both the sheet material and the geometric properties of the specimen, as well as the external state factors were considered to be the same in all cases. The finite element simulations were performed using Simufact 2021.1 software. Our results shows that there are no significant differences in wall thicknesses until we reach the zone of double necking, where essential differences are observed.

Nowadays, especially in the Eastern region of Hungary, small businesses face an increasing challenge in attracting and retaining a well-qualified workforce that is able to accept and commit to the goals of SMEs. This is due to the promising career prospects offered by foreign-owned large companies locating here. However, if SME employees possess the virtues of organisational citizenship behaviour (OCB), they will develop a stronger commitment to the organisation. The aim of our research was to explore the extent to which the five OCB virtues; sportsmanship, conscientiousness, altruism, politeness and civic virtue are present in a small construction company in Hajdú-Bihar county. Our survey was carried out using a questionnaire method, which was analysed as a function of length of service, education and age. The main findings are that there is a strong correlation between the presence of OCB characteristics and age and length of time spent with the firm.

Épített környezetünk közösségi funkciójú helyei az aktuális társadalmi, kulturális és gazdasági igények függvényében egyre gyorsabban avulnak. A debreceni tímárház Szárító műhely projektje közösségalkotó és kultúrtudatos célkitűzésével egy új lehetséges átalakítási mintát mutat a térségben. Egy épület tereinek kisléptékű, újrafelfedező, költséghatékony beavatkozásokkal történő belakása, azok folytatható kialakítása lehetőséget adnak az építmény értékeinek megtartására és a változó igényeknek megfelelő gyors reakcióra. A terv során a beavatkozásokkal kapcsolatban megfogalmazott alapvetések igazolása miatt, két hasonló szellemiségben megvalósított példával, az egri Művészeti Ellátóval és a pécsi Szabadkikötővel vetem össze azt. A projektek átalakításai ismétlődő mintázatot mutatnak, így azokat egy-egy életciklusukban történt folyamatain keresztül tárgyalom. Az elemzések az alkotókkal készített interjúkra, internetes cikkekre, tanulmányokra és helyszíni bejárásokra alapozva készültek.

Using secondary data, we empirically examine two biasing effects that may arise in the written evaluation of large groups of students. Suppose the students take the examination in consecutive groups, and we wish to avoid the distortion caused by tests of different difficulty. In that case, we can decide to use the same examination questions. However, the danger of the "same test effect" arises, according to which the group writing later can perform better if it receives information from the examinees in the previous round. Using the same examination tests cannot be recommended if that effect is significant. Another related potential phenomenon is the "revealed sameness effect". Accordingly, if the examinees are aware of the repetition of the questions, it significantly increases the scores of the following group. We tested these phenomena using the data of a three-round written examination. A previously published analysis of a larger sample found that the "same test effect" can be expected if the students decide in which round they take the examination. Since it was possible to freely register for the examination rounds for the assessment analyzed in this study, we assume that the "same test effect" will be significant. Based on the literature, we also expected that the "revealed sameness effect" would occur in the third round. The performed linear regression analysis (N=77) only found some weak evidence for the 'revealed sameness effect' but not for the 'same test effect'.

Ezek közül szeretnék rávilágítani néhány fontosabbra, valamint ismertetni azon felméréseim eredményeimet, amelyeken az egyetemi hallgatók modellalkotási, absztrakciós és lexikális tudását mértem fel az online oktatás előtt és után.

Nyírbátor középkori minorita temploma a XVII. század végén súlyos károkat szenvedett majd elhagyottá vált. A XVIII. században megkezdődött a templom barokk átépítése, majd későbbiekben egy második barokk átépítési periódus is lezajlott. Ezt követően a templom sokáig érintetlen maradt, később a XX. században ismételten szükségessé vált az akkor rossz állapotú templom renoválása. A templomot többször restaurálták, ezen felül a XX. század végén egészen napjainkig több régészeti feltárás és kutatómunka is lezajlott, a templom bizonyos aspektusaira koncentráltan. Jelen cikkemben szeretném bemutatni a templom építéstörténetét érintő feljegyzések összefoglalását, illetve az általam elvégzett photo scanneres felmérés eredményét és metódusát.

A vezetői döntéshozatal fontos a szervezetek sikeres működésében, ezért szükséges, hogy a vezetők megértsék azokat a tényezőket, amelyek hatással vannak a döntéseikre. A döntéshozatal mindig a vezető feladata, de a változó világban még inkább meghatározó sikertényező. A jó döntés meghozatalához idő, tapasztalat és alapos problémamegoldó képesség szükséges. Kutatásaim során, szakirodalmi források feldolgozásával azonosítottam több olyan szereptényezőt, amelyek egyértelműen hatással vannak a döntési szerepre, annak megvalósulására. Továbbá, saját szerkesztésű kérdőívet állítottam össze a döntési szerep vizsgálatához a modern szervezetekben. A 230 kitöltőtől beérkezett válaszokból különböző statisztikai módszerekkel elemeztem az adatokat. Eredményeim alapján a konfliktuskezelés, a kockázatvállalás és a probléma alapos megismerése erőteljesen meghatározzák a vezetői döntési folyamatokat. A vezetőknek az a képessége, hogy hatékonyan kezeljék a konfliktusokat, jelentős hatással van a döntéseikre. A kockázatvállalás is kulcsfontosságú, mivel a vezetőknek fel kell ismerniük egy adott helyzet kockázatait, és ennek függvényében hozzák meg döntéseiket.

Vizsgálatom alapját az adja, hogy a sport fejlődésének és a szektorba áramló tőkének köszönhetően az utánpótlássport immár nem csak a gyermekek szabadidejének hasznos eltöltését és az egészséges életmódra nevelés egy eszközét jelenti, hanem egy lehetőséget is a felnőttkori sportolói karrier megalapozására és ezzel együtt a későbbi biztos egzisztencia megteremtésére. Ahhoz, hogy a képzés hatásos és produktív legyen a sok összetevőből az egyik alapfeltétel a szülői támogatás megléte. A fiatalkori versenysport rengeteg kihívást jelent egy család számára és több aspektusból vizsgálva is befolyásolja az életüket. Kutatásom során megvizsgáltam, hogy bizonyos demográfiai változók tekintetében az utánpótlássport miként hat a szülőkre, milyen változásokat generál a családi életükben és arra is figyelmet fordítottam, hogy a családban milyen elvárások fogalmazódnak meg a sporttal szemben. A vizsgálat alapját egy online kérdőíves felmérésem adja, melyet több mint 700-an töltöttek ki a szülők közül országosan a labdarúgó utánpótlás nevelő egyesületek teljes vertikumában. Kutatásomból kiderült, hogy a korábbi témához köthető szakirodalmaknak megfelelően az általam vizsgált szülők életére is jelentős hatással van a gyermekük sportolása és különböző elvárásokat fogalmaznak meg azzal kapcsolatban, melyeket különböző szociális és demográfiai tényezők is befolyásolnak.

Napjainkban a fenntarthatóság kérdésköre kardinális probléma, világméretűvé nőtte ki magát. A fenntarthatóság kérdése egyaránt érinti a társadalmat, az egészséget, a gazdaságot és nagymértékben a környezetet is. A sportszektor környezettel lehatárolt kapcsolódási pontjait, a fenntarthatóság környezeti aspektusának vizsgálatát kutatások alapjainak tekintik, mellyel napjainkban egyre több nemzetközi tanulmány, szakirodalom foglalkozik. A sportszer- és sportruházat gyártó vállalatok magas számú, többszintű globális ellátási láncokon végbemenő termeléssel működnek. Folyamatosan igyekeznek kielégíteni a fogyasztók hirtelen igényváltozásait, melynek eredményeképpen magas nyersanyag- és erőforrásigény, hulladék- és üvegházhatású gázok kibocsátása és vízfelhasználás is társul, melyek részei a legkárosabb környezeti hatásoknak. A tanulmány célja, hogy bemutassa a Nike, az Adidas és az Under Armour multinacionális sportszer-és sportruházat gyártó vállalatok alapanyag felhasználására, hulladékgazdálkodására, vízhasználatuk minimalizálására, valamint a szénlábnyomuk csökkentésére irányuló környezetvédelmi intézkedéseit, melyeket üzleti stratégiájuk során igyekeznek egyre nagyobb arányban alkalmazni.

Az elmúlt évtizedekben a sport gazdasági szerepe világszerte növekedett, és ez alól Magyarország sem kivétel. A sport az egyik legfontosabb iparágak közé tartozik, amely jelentős gazdasági előnyöket kínál az országnak. Ennek megfelelően a sportgazdasági terület egyre nagyobb figyelmet kap, és egyre fontosabb szerepet játszik a nemzetközi és hazai gazdaságban egyaránt. A tanulmányban azt vizsgáltuk, hogy az embereknek mekkora kiadásai vannak a sportolással kapcsolatban. Kérdőíves felmérést végeztünk, demográfiai adatokon kívül, a sportolási szokásokra és sportolással kapcsolatos költéshajlandóságukra kérdeztünk rá. A válaszadók többsége versenysportoló, akik többnyire csapatsportágakban versenyeznek. Az eredmények szerint a megkérdezettek közül, aki csapatsportágat űz, annak semmivel sem kell több kiadásra számítania, havi szinten, mint azoknak az embereknek, akik egyéni sportágat űznek.

This comparative research intends to find similarities and differences in the digitalization level of Hungary and Azerbaijan. Following the state of art in digitalization, further focus is on the digitalization of small and medium enterprises in both countries. The secondary research is done through several international reports and databases collected for years 2018-2022, depending on the availability. The comparison is performed based on four subcategories of digitization areas defined by the European Commission. The study holds its uniqueness due to the absence of comparative research between the mentioned two countries and the indicators used. The results contribute to the awareness, existing knowledge and provide future research insights into digitalization trends of both countries.

The optimization of manufacturing and production processes with various computer software is essential these days. Solutions on the market allow us to optimize and improve our manufacturing and production processes; one of the most popular software is called Tecnomatrix, which is described in this paper. Tool condition monitoring is a vital part of the manufacturing process in the industry. It requires continuous measurement of the wear of the cutting tool edges to improve the surface quality of the work piece and maintain productivity. Multiple methods are available for the determination of the actual condition of the cutting tool. Vibration diagnostics and acoustic methods are included in this paper. These methods are simple, it requires only high sensitive sensors, microphones, and data acquisition unit to gather the vibration signal and make signal improvement. Extended Taylor equation is applied for tool edge wear ratio. Labview and Matlab software are applied for the measurement and the digital signal processing. Machine learning method with artificial neural network is for the detection and prediction of the edge wear to estimate the remaining useful lifetime (RUL) of the tool.

By 2022, Gen Z and millennial consumers dominated Shopee usage in Indonesia. Similar e-commerce platforms are forced to constantly innovate to remain competitive in the market due to increasing competition. Therefore, the primary focus of e-commerce platform development should be on the user interface, user experience design, and promotions that are appealing and easy to access so that potential customers are inclined to repurchase. This research aims to determine the influence of UI design, UX design, and promotions on the repurchase intention of users of the Shopee application. The sampling method used was systematic sampling. Ninety-six respondents are included in the sample. This study uses descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing for data analysis. SPSS Statistics 28.0 was used for data processing. The study found that user interface design, user experience design, and sales promotions statistically impact the repurchase intention of users of the Shopee application. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of repurchase intent in e-commerce.

The authors present an analytical solution for the two-layered composite beams with imperfect shear connections. The considered beam is simply supported at both ends. The beam is subjected to transverse and axial loads. The kinematic assumptions of the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory are used. The connection of the beam components is perfect in normal direction, but the axial displacement field may have jump. The shear axial force derived from the imperfect connection is proportional to the relative slip occurring between the layers. The determination of the analytical solution is based on the Fourier method. Two examples illustrate the application of the presented analytical method.

In the past century, in many industries, such as, metal forming industry, it has been important to predict ductile damage and fracture of metals under complex loadings. Regarding damage mechanics, one of the most classical models is the GTN, which was originated from Gurson and later enhanced by Tvergaard and Needleman. The inprovement was achieved by introducing an equivalent void volume fraction f and two more parameters called q1 and q2 into the yield function of Gurson’s model.

A tanulmány célja áttekinteni, hogy mobil kisvágóhídról származó szennyvíz milyen esetekben milyen mértékben, milyen céllal hasznosítható. A fenntarthatóság kritériumait szem előtt tartva azonosítom a lehetséges, egyben ésszerű kombinációit a technológiáknak, kiemelve és részletesebben bemutatva azokat, amelyek a szennyvíz hasznosítását és az esővíz hasznosítását is magukban foglalják. Ismertetem azokat a korlátozó tényezőket- helyszín adottságai, környezetvédelmi és egészségügyi szabályozás – amelyek meghatározóak abban, hogy egy konkrét telepítés során melyik alternatívára eshet a választás.

As a result of the Coronavirus, both supply chain and internal logistics processes at factories have changed a lot. In many areas, the effectiveness of the logistics processes has declined because of the restrictions implemented against the virus. The study lists some adverse effects where logistics processes had to be modified due to the changing and protection measures against or negative effects of the virus. The authors also argue that these restrictions decreased the efficiency of logistics processes and workers' productivity. One option to increase the logistics sector's efficiency is to use air purification technologies, like the ones studied in this paper: UV-C, Bioxygen® or plasma-ion decontamination technologies. These disinfection processes can create a safe indoor environment. The authors analyse the examined technologies with SWOT analysis. The analysis results demonstrate which disinfection application is the most beneficial to help in improving indoor air quality for logistics processes.

Because university incubators have a favorable effect on student’s entrepreneurial intents, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are essential to the delivery of entrepreneurship education. By analyzing the perceptions of students who received master diploma in management-business fields in Torreon, Mexico in 2021, the aim of the research is to identify the internal and external aspects of the HEI environment and their impact on entrepreneurial education using Partial Least Squares methodology with the help of the SmartPLS software, 156 responses from the statistical tool provided 120 responses. Three of the original hypotheses were confirmed, while four variables—two associated with HEI ecosystem external factors and two with entrepreneurial education elements—had to be removed since they were not accepted. The findings will lead to a better comprehension of the elements influencing master students' entrepreneurial perspective to create stronger relationship with elements of the HEI ecosystem.

To apply mathematical methods to physical or other real life problem, we have to formulate the problem in mathematical terms. It means that, we have to construct the mathematical model for the problem. Many physical problems shows the relationships between changing quantities. The rates of change are represented mathematically by derivatives. In this case the mathematical models involve equations relating an unknown function and one or more of its derivatives. These equations are the differential equations. In this article, teaching the analysis of Newton's cooling model to engineering students is presented as one of the applications of separable differential equations.

Abstract. The potentiodynamic experiments of the nickel effects on the zinc electrodeposition have been done to understand the impact of Ni impurities on the electrowinning of Zn from spent pickling liquor. The nickel chloride solutions of Ni concentrations 90 and 1 g/dm3 were used as the electrolytes. The latter was also mixed with 90 g/dm3 Zn in the experiments. All the runs were carried out at room temperature with 40 mV/s continuous polarization speed and with 1/s sampling rate. It was observed that nickel electrodeposition from chloride media containing 90 g/dm3 Ni started with the generation of hydrogen bubbles, entirely blocking the cathode surface. Only a slight current development was observed until the polarization potential ~ -0,8 V. The visual observation showed bubbles also formed at the anode, which may represent chlorine and/or oxygen evolution. While, in the electrodeposition of nickel with only 1 g/dm3 Ni concentration in the electrolyte, metal deposition was hardly observed, but visible hydrogen bubbles constantly blocked the cathode surface. A similar tendency was observed in the mixed-solution electrolysis cell; the initial tiny bubbles accumulated at the cathode surface more than in the pure Zn solution. The enhancement of H2 evolution indicates how nickel deposition may contribute to the loss of useful current in the process of Zn electrodeposition. The mass of nickel deposited from the mixed solutions significantly decreases as the Ni concentration decreases in the electrolyte, while the mass of deposited zinc is relatively constant. It means that the purity of the produced Zn is appreciably higher – with respect to Ni – if nickel is efficiently eliminated from the solution before electrowinning.

The following article presents a special case of metal powder production, ultrasonic metal atomization. In this case, ultrasound technology is based on the capillary wave phenomenon. We verify the suitability of the produced powders for 3D metal printing with various tests. In the case of prints with a metal powder bed fusion (PBF), the properties of the raw material of the powder are extremely important. The main results of the tests carried out in the article (SEM images, EDS composition analysis, sieve analysis) were described.

Recently, the requirements for machining shape-complex products made of hard-to-machine materials, including carbide, have been increasing significantly. However, their machining is rather problematic. Additionally, a high-quality standard of the machined surface is generally required, not only in terms of roughness but also in terms of the geometric accuracy of the machined surface. All this while maintaining a high level of economy in the machining process. However, meeting these demanding requirements in real technical practice is not always an easy task. Moreover, in combination with modern machining processes, only a limited number of production technologies can meet this requirement. Therefore, due to the high demands placed on today's modern production and the required high standard of the machined surface, progressive EDM technology is increasingly finding its application. And it is through this progressive technology that it is possible to achieve relatively good success in carbide machining. The aim of this paper was therefore to describe in detail the results of an experimental investigation aimed at identifying the quality of the machined surface achieved in terms of the roughness parameters of the machined surface in the electrical discharge machining of selected types of carbides using a wire tool electrode.

The paper deals with the torsional rigidity of homogenous and orthotropic beam with rectangular cross section. The torsional rigidity of the considered beam is defined in the framework of the Saint-Venant theory of uniform torsion. Exact and approximate solutions are given to the determination of the torsional rigidity. The shape of cross section is determined which gives maximum value of the torsional rigidity for a given cross-sectional area. The dependence of torsional rigidity as a function of the ratio shear moduli of beam is also studied.

The mixing of granular materials in an agitated drum can be characterized by the dimensionless power equation. The equation was created by dimensional analysis, for which the parameters affecting the mixing power requirement were collected based on the literature. The most important of these are the rotational speed, the drum loading factor, the geometric and physical properties of the mixing drum and the granular materials. The dimensionless power equation is used to estimate with reasonable accuracy the Power number within the given range of applicability , which has been validated by measurements. From the Power number, the mixing power requirement of the mixed granular material can be calculated, which can be used as operational data for selecting the mixing motor.

Az elmúlt két évtized egyik legnagyobb újdonsága minden a közösségi média, ami megreformálta az információ átadással és a hagyományos marketing tevékenységgel kapcsolatos alap stratégiákat. Ezeken a platformokon gyökeresen változtak meg a tartalomgyártás folyamatai, amire minden sportklubnak érdemes figyelmet fordítania, hiszen jelentős előnyökhöz juthatnak mind gazdasági-, marketing-, közösségépítés terén egyaránt, ha képesek jól kommunikálni. Három egymástól eltérő szinten versenyző sportklub került összehasonlításra kvalitatív vizsgálat során a közösségi média marketing stratégia tevékenységüket tekintve, amelyek név szerint a PICK Szeged, a Balatonfüredi KSE – BFKA Balatonfüred és a DEAC kézilabda csapata. Ezen vizsgálati modellnek az alapkoncepciója arra épült fel, hogy a különböző szinteken, különböző sportszakmai célokért küzdő klubcsapatok online marketingkommunikációs tevékenysége miben tér el egymástól, valamint mik azok a fejlődési lehetőségek, szempontok, amivel lehető leghatékonyabban lehet érvényesülni a social média felületeken. A kézilabda klubcsapatok több kutatási kérdésben is egyetértettek, de felfedezhető volt jelentős különbség is egy-egy területen, amiben a közösségi médiáért felelős szakemberek nem értettek egyet, vagy más nézőpontot képviseltek. Eredményeimet tekintve megállapítható, hogy egy sikeres online marketing stratégia mögött mindig komoly előkészületi és tervező munka áll, valamint a tartalomgyártás diverzifikálása kulcsfontosságú a különböző felületeken, mert a platformok fogyasztói közössége is eltérő egymástól.

The article aims to briefly summarize the design aids which can be used nowadays, such as topology optimization and generative design, which are common in integrated CAD systems. A case study is used to present the results and comparisons provided by the previously mentioned methods.

Many areas of the industry are characterized by continuous changes, which define new directions of development in product design. The development of computers and software, the spread of modern production tools and the development of material technology make it possible to expand traditional production technologies with modern processes. Integrated CAD systems have occupied their place in the product design and development process for decades, reforming classical design methods. Popular optimization procedures in integrated CAD systems, such as shape optimization, topological optimization and the new generative design process, provide effective solutions for design engineers in more and more industrial application areas. Experience shows that modern design methods can be used in many areas of industry. The appearance of metal powder printing and additive technology make it possible to test the designed prototypes or even to produce the final products. The following article aims to support the above with the help of a case study.

Napjainkban a digitalizáció térhódítása folyamatosan nő. A jelenlegi felnövekvő generáció már „digitális bennszülött”. A digitalizáció részeként feltétlenül említést kell tennünk az internetről, ami kiemelt szerepet tölt be mindennapi életünkben. Az interneten keresünk információt, kommunikálunk, vásárolunk. Ezen tényezők és a 2020-ban kialakult pandémia miatt az internetes ügyintézés is kiemelt fontosságúvá vált. A bankoknak folyamatosan alkalmazkodniuk kell a megnövekedett igényekhez, amik a kényelmes, otthoni bankolást segítik elő. Kutatásunk során éppen erre a folyamatos alkalmazkodásra, és az ebből eredő fejlesztésekre koncentráltunk. A kutatás középpontjában a hazai nagybankok internet- és mobilbankjai álltak. A mintavételezés 2 időszakban zajlott. A primer kutatási eszközök közül a dokumentumelemzést és a netnográfiát választottuk. A kutatás során összehasonlítottuk a platformokon elérhető funkciókat, a mobilbankok fogyasztói megítélését és más változókat. A kutatás során kapott eredmények alapján megállapítható, hogy a hazai bankok folyamatosan fejlesztik az applikációjukat különböző trendek mentén, és igyekeznek igazodni a változó igényekhez. A legtöbb nagybank mobilbankjában komoly változásokat kellett megvalósítani, akár korábbi mobilbankjuk végleges kivezetésével. A változások erős hatást gyakorolhatnak a fogyasztókra, akikből ezen változások gyakran inkább negatív véleményt váltottak ki. Összességében a digitalizálódás ilyetén formája kiemelten fontos ezen szektorban is. A tanulmány a Tudományos Diákköri Konferenciára készült pályamunka részleteit tartalmazza.

Világszerte sürgető közegészségügyi probléma a fizikai aktivitás hiánya, az ülő életmód széleskörű elterjedése. A probléma jellemző a fiatal populációra is, kiemelten az egyetemistákra, akik idejük jelentős részét töltik üléssel. A technológiai fejlődés egyik katalizátora a mozgásszegény életmód térnyerésének, ugyanakkor ennek köszönhetően számos olyan eszköz jelent meg a piacon, mely éppen a fizikai aktivitás ösztönzésére is szolgálhat. Folyamatosan növekvő tendenciát mutat a fizikai aktivitást mérő viselhető technológiai eszközök – karóra, karpánt – elterjedése a lakosság körében, mellyel párhuzamosan növekszik a magunkról gyűjtött adatok (lépésszám, elégetett kalória, pulzus) mennyisége is. A szerzők témaválasztását az indokolja, hogy a hazai sporttudomány területén kevés olyan tanulmánnyal találkozhatunk, mely napjaink korszerű információtechnológia eszközeit helyezi a fókuszába a fizikai aktivitás dimenziójában. Jelen tanulmány célja, hogy az egyetemista populáció körében felmérje az aktivitást mérő viselhető eszközökkel kapcsolatos attitűdöket. Keresztmetszeti kutatásunk során online kvantitatív kérdőíves felmérést végeztünk a DE GTK hallgatói körében. A kérdőívet 340 fő töltötte ki megfelelően. The Dunning-Kruger effect (DKE) in higher education evaluation is one of the current research areas of psychology, educational science, and management science (in our case). Its importance is that the less prepared one is, the less accurately one can judge what performance is expected of him. What is more, he will err more and will overestimate himself. The present study aims better to understand the phenomenon with new, small-sample empirical results. The study is part of a research series that has been ongoing at the University of Debrecen since 2015. It not only quantitatively expands the literature but also includes the course of Knowledge Management among those examined. During the research, students were asked both before the examination (N = 63) and after the examination (N = 76) to guess how many points they would achieve on a multiple-choice test. It supports the presence of DKE, both in the case of pre-examination and post-examination self-evaluations. Using four multivariate linear regression models, we examined whether the sign value or absolute value of the errors made during the guesses show a correlation - in addition to the available control variables - with the test score. Our results showed that the more accurate the pre-examination and post-examination estimations were, the higher the students' actual score was, while the less they tended to overestimate their preparation. This supports the presence of DKE, both in the case of pre-exam and post-exam self-evaluation.

The defining scientific developments of our time would not have been possible without the use of simulations. The aim of the research is to create a simulation of a BLDC motor. When creating a simulation, great emphasis must be placed on defining the purpose of the simulation. This basically determines the structure and complexity of the model. The model discussed here was created so that an optimization task could be defined more precisely by inserting it as a sub-model into a vehicle dynamics model. Scalability was another aspect, that is, to be able to increase the accuracy of the model with measured data in the future, as well as to be able to validate it. During the research, a BLDC motor efficiency map generation program was created, as well as an environment for testing the generated data. The created system gives researchers the opportunity to use a shape-correct efficiency model when simulating a BLDC motor even without measured data. This makes it possible to discover real relationships between model parameters when performing optimization.

In this paper the effect of the boundary conditions on the stability of thin-walled aerosol cans under axial pressure is investigated. The main objective is to outline the main characteristics of this highly nonlinear mechanical problem and to present methods to simulate the buckling of cans with different boundary conditions. Due to the numerical difficulties coming from the contact between the can and different components of the machines, the effect of the different supports of the can is investigated on the crushing (or buckling) force at which the loss of stability occurs. The commercial finite element software Abaqus is used to solve the problems and to present the efficiency of FE codes in the design process of cans.

The spread of the gameable personal computers and game consoles resulted in the diversification of the video game genre, and from the 7th generation of the gaming consoles, the experience support of the games became largely enhanced. These games are now consumable owing to their resolution, the content, the plots are so fascinating so that they tie the gamer to the seat. Gamers seek experiences in the games. Still, such a special genre called roguelike was established, which is characterized by the constant termination of this world of experience in such a way that the gamer, as a results of the high level of difficulty, is obliged to start the game again and again. These new genre games are now leading titles of the new generation consoles, such as Demon’s Souls or the Returnal, gaining huge role in the introduction and sale of the new gaming console PS5. This study aims to reveal specifications of this genre, moreover, aims to describe through empirical research how gamers relate to it, and whether features of these games contribute to the devotion to them or lead to the disappointment from this world of experience.

Az alábbi tanulmány négy, az iparban elterjedt robotkar összehasonlítását mutatja be olyan szempontból, hogy az egyetemi oktatásba melyik modell adaptálható a legmegfelelőbben. Az összehasonlító esettanulmány a következő gyártók robotkarjait veszi figyelembe: ABB, Kuka, Universal Robots, Techman Robot. Az összehasonlítás kritériumait a fontossági tényező és a tapasztalatok alapján határoztuk meg. Ezután a kritériumokat az Analitycal Hierarchy Process (AHP) módszer segítségével rangsoroltuk. A négy alternatíva közötti sorrendet a Kesselring módszer segítségével állítottuk fel. A vizsgálat egy kiválasztási módszert mutat be az ipari robotok területén az egyetemi oktatás szemszögéből.

A globalizáció és az urbanizáció számtalan kihívással állítja szembe a különböző településeket. A globális problémákra az érintettek fenntartható projektek révén igyekeznek gyógyírt nyújtani. A Brundtland Bizottság 1987-es fenntartható fejlődés definíciójának megalkotása óta a fenntarthatósági szemlélet a gazdaság valamennyi dimenzióját átjárja, így a környezeti dimenziót is. Magyarországon az IBM készített tanulmányt (Lados – Horváthné Barsi, 2011), melyben kulcsszerepet kap az élhető város definíciójában meghatározott zöld, fenntartató megoldások keresése. A fenntartható városok sajátságai, hogy ellenállnak a katasztrófáknak, a sokkhatás bekövetkezte után visszatérnek az egyensúlyi állapotba (Seeliger, Turok, 2013). A rezilienciát a fenntarthatóság egyik pilléreként is említhetjük. Az UN-Habitat közleményében úgy fogalmaz a reziliencia bármely városi rendszer azon képességére utal, hogy képes ellenállni többszöri sokkhatásnak és abból gyorsan felépülni, valamint képes fenntartani a szolgáltatásai folytonosságát (OECD, 2018). Tanulmányomban az ország legkeletibb és legnyugatibb megyéje esetében kívánom prezentálni a népességszám alapján kiválasztott négy-négy legnagyobb városuk környezeti indexének és Környezeti Városi Reziliencia Indexének (KVRI) eredményeit, ezzel feltárni az ország keleti és nyugati határánál vizsgált települések helyzetét a környezeti dimenzió vonatkozásában.
