H �������� ������������ �������� 31.3 �� 4.3 ������ ������ ���������� 1 ������������ 37.4 �� 4.1 ������ ������ ������ ���������� 2 (P=., The aim of the study was to analyze the expression of Leukemia Inhibitory Factor (LIF), LIF-R, HOXA-10 and HOXA-11 in endometrial tissue of fertile and infertile women, during the window of implantation. Therefore, a prospective study was conducted during 03/2013-06/2016 in the 3rd Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Women with diagnosed infertility consisted the patients group (infertile women, group 2), while women having delivered at least one alive newborn and without signs of potential infertility consisted the study���s control group (fertile women, group 1). An endometrial biopsy was obtained by Pipelle on 7th-8th day after ovulation in each woman and expression of biomarkers was assessed by immunohistochemistry in both epithelial and stromal cells. ��pidemiological characteristics of women as well as endometrial characteristics were studies. Primary outcomes were positive nuclei percentage, intensity of staining and the combined rate of h-score. These parameters were compared between groups 1 and 2, as well as between epithelial and stromal cells in both groups of the study. During the study interval, there were 105 women meeting inclusion criteria (30 fertile and 75 infertile), while endometrial biopsy was successfully obtained in 20 fertile and 60 infertile women. Mean age was 31.3 �� 4.3 for group 1 vs. 37.4 �� 4.1 years for group 2 (P
