The presented article deals with psychodynamic developments during the years 2020 to 2023 in the course of the Covid-19 pandemic. For a better understanding of the extraordinary stress situation, we develope a connection between the Positive Transac-tional Analysis map of the script and the concepts of Existential Psychotherapy. Helplessness, script bound coping reactions, symbiotic expectations and suppression of authentic feelings (mainly fear and grief) direct to confrontations with four existential concerns (Irvin Yalom): death, responsibility, isolation and sense. Post traumatic reactions seemingly not connecting to the pandemic (depressions, panic disorders, psychosomatic symptoms) are possible consequences. Using a case example of a couples' psychotherapy we demonstrate recollecting, dissolving and working out of the traumatic stress situation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The study on working from home has received growing interest from researchers over the last year, when the coronavirus pandemic turned many people into remote workers overnight. Romanians used teleworking much less than other Europeans before the pandemic, but now that they have been forced to work from home, their numbers have increased. Nevertheless, the crisis caused by the pandemic accelerates teleworking and reduces the digital differences between European countries. In Romania, many of the employees who work from home today have never had this experience before. They started this way of working without any prior training or preparation. The current study aims to find how working from home has evolved in terms of productivity in the last year, how employees' perceptions of the advantages and disadvantages have changed, but also which are the long-term consequences of working from home. For this purpose, we analyzed the answers received after administering a questionnaire to the employees from three private companies in Bihor county at the beginning of the pandemic and a year later. The final results indicate a significant difference in how employees perceive this way of working after a year. If at the beginning of the pandemic the results indicated a negative effect of working from home on productivity, now, after a year, the results indicated a positive effect. Their answers referring to the advantages and challenges of working from home have changed after a year's experience of working from home. While the main benefits have remained the same, the biggest challenges have changed.

Coronavirus pandemic, as a viral threat to the world, is imposing a lot of changes in the field of education. So this leads to deal with new mechanisms in order to motivate the educational institutions to choose distance learning or the E-learning as an alternative. As a result, the Algerian educational system raised challenges to fight this pandemic by moving from the traditional learning to distance learning. University of Oran 2 Mohamed Ben Ahmed, as the other universities has chosen to shut its doors on the face of the pandemic and remote working through E-learning platforms. In this paper, our objective is to investigate problems and issues that faced both teachers and students and which are considered as important episodes in the E-learning process. Although distance learning is effective and beneficial, the students find themselves less motivated to complete their tasks, and get distracted by weak access to the internet. The Students and the teachers dissatisfaction with feedback is also a significant problem. To gain a full understanding of teachers and students E-learning challenges and how they cope with them, in depth qualitative research is required.

The study on working from home productivity has received much interest from researchers in the recent years. Numerous studies have found working from home to be productive. However, now with the coronavirus pandemic turning many more people into remote workers overnight, is working from home still productive? This is what the current study aims to find, taking into account that the employees have no choice during this pandemic period; they are forced to work from home. Before the pandemic, the employees were consent with working from home and usually they were coming in the working environment at least one day a week, but usually two or three days. Full-time working at home may be different. Moreover, the employees are now forced to work from home without any training or preparation. Most of them have never worked from home before. Even if the employees worked from home occasionally and they are trained for it, yet they are not prepared for such a long period away from their working environment. Working from home still has its advantages: there are no face-to-face meetings, no distractions from co-workers, no annoying managers to boss them around, no wasted time in traffic, no worries about the children’s safety, as they are at home. Besides the advantages, working from home comes also with some disadvantages. The specialists worry about the negative effects, such as an explosion of mental health issues that could also generate physical health problems. The current study focuses on finding the advantages and disadvantages of working from home, but also on ways to make working from home more effectively. For this purpose, a questionnaire was administered to the employees from three private companies in Bihor county. The final results indicate a negative effect of working from home on productivity. We have found the main benefits and challenges and also the ways to improve productivity when working from home.

In recent months, marital and partnership relationships have become the subject of many discussions and predictions. As a partner and marital life are not immune to social change, the global coronavirus an induced pandemic that prevailed in early 2020 has left a major impact on family relationships. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the new changes in marital relationship, marital quality, and the degree of marital (dissatisfaction) of partners in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the coronavirus pandemic. 717 respondents participated in the research, and through online research, the partners’ self-assessment of the degree of cohesiveness, expressiveness, and conflict in the marital relationship was examined. The results of the research show us a high degree of cohesiveness in the marital relationship at the time of the pandemic. Based on the data, it was found that cohesiveness is more pronounced in younger marriages, while the decline in attachment is noticeable in long-term marriages. Also, research has shown that stress and job loss due to pandemic have caused more frequent disagreements, quarrels, and marital violence. Most of the respondents are satisfied with the marital relationship, and those who want to change the marital relationship most often have difficulties in communication, distribution of household responsibilities, and disagreements about educational methods.

The family is named in official Church documents as the domestic church where the domestic liturgy is celebrated – the action of the family in union with the universal Church. The source for domestic liturgy is the common priesthood of all baptized, strengthened by the sacrament of marriage, where the spouses perform the priestly function for their children. In March 2020, at the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 virus pandemic, when the possibility of the faithful’s participation in masses and services was significantly limited, Polish bishops encouraged the renewal of the liturgy celebrated in the family. Thanks to this, the faithful had the opportunity to experience the mysteries of faith and the liturgical year. In this study, the author deals with the issue of the ecclesiogenetic role of the domestic liturgy. To fully understand the subject, he first presents the nature and role of the liturgy and its relationship to the Church. The author then refers to the texts of the New Testament (mainly the Acts of the Apostles and Paul’s Letters), the patrology of St. John Chrysostom, and the contemporary teachings of the Church (documents of the Second Vatican Council and John Paul II). The author also presents the terms of domestic church and domestic liturgy. On this basis, the author puts forward the thesis that in the first period of the coronavirus pandemic, the home liturgy played an important role in the process of ecclesiogenesis. He presents the proposals of the Easter domestic liturgy that appeared at that time and was prepared by the pastors, as well as the first theological reflections and explanations. In conclusion, the author formulates pastoral conclusions and postulates to maintain care for the home liturgy in Christian families.

In these paired years (2020–2021), the whole world has been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, which has resulted in the emergence of different presumptions, alternative facts, and fake news. Among those, the most dominant news was about bats as the culprits of expansion of the virus and, indirectly, the Chinese diet as the root cause. However, there is no proof that the links in the triangle of bat-virus-human are valid; and the source of infection has not been identified. In addition to bats, these viruses can be found in other animals, such as camels, pangolins, and humans. Therefore, individual scientists are reversing the situation by presenting the possibility of transmitting the virus from humans to animals. Nevertheless, it has become ultimately ‘acceptable’ to demonise the bat. In this respect, various authors remind us of certain historical contexts of notions and perceptions of the bats, as well as the similarities and differences of those perceptions during the pandemic, referring to it mainly in the context of Croatia and the world. In the end, the article’s conclusion is that the story about the bats is, actually, a great indicator of the representations of Otherness and the strengthening of a binary and hierarchical division of ‘us’ and ‘them’.

The object of analysis is the use of potential Slovenian phraseological neologisms in the new media. Although valuable data is available from the electronic corpora nowadays, the identification of phraseological neologisms represents a methodological challenge. Specific corpus data such as frequency, contextual embedding, and connotation are necessary for their determination. Questions that have arisen in the interpretation of phraseological processes include the type of media in which potential phraseological neologisms occur, the degree of their stability, and differences between their types. This paper presents results of contrastive research of phraseological neologisms in German and Ukrainian. The research aimed at a conceptual analysis of phraseological neologisms used in digital media during the coronavirus pandemic in Germany and Ukraine. It was conducted in two steps: the description of structural-semantic features of selected phraseological units in both languages, and, by contrasting them to existing neologisms, the determination of their equivalence types. The material basis is formed with 96 German and 60 Ukrainian phraseological neologisms from the years 2020-2021. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The gold standard of conducting face-to-face interviews had to be translated into a digital format, enabling researchers to conduct interviews at a distance. In this article, we reflect on the opportunities and limitations of virtual interviews and consider epistemological consequences in the wake of their increased use and acceptance. Methodological questions arise regarding empirical topics, sampling, social interview situations, as well as the technical setting. We further reflect on the advantages and disadvantages of interviews at a distance and suggest that this novel form of interviewing may soon become the new normal.

The last two years have been marked by the Covid pandemic. It was one of the biggest challenges for the Austrian Federal Government and the associated preservation of Austria as a business location. In order to mitigate the economic consequences of the pandemic and help save companies, the Covid funding was created. The aim of this paper is to explain the individual funding of the Covid pandemic – and to provide information on how the income tax treatment is carried out. In this context, the aim is to determine the possible consequences of financial criminal law and the consequences that a company already subject to financial criminal law can expect to have on the granting of aid in this context. The initial situation of the pandemic is described. The aim is to create an understanding of why such aid was necessary in order to mitigate the consequences of the worst economic crisis since the Second World War. In the course of this work, the Covid funding agency COFAG of the federal government is to be illuminated, as it is responsible for the processing of the grants and thus represents an important component of this subsidy system. Each individual grant is examined in more detail. Particular attention is paid to the beneficiary companies and the application conditions, as well as to the determination of the loss of turnover and the calculation parameters of the grants. Furthermore, the main focus is on the tax treatment of the respective grants and finally on the interaction of the different grants. The aim of this study is to provide an answer to the question of possible consequences in the event of financial offences. In this context, a sequence of the rule for good conduct is explained, which creates the legal basis for the exclusion of funding.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, insolvency statistics have increasingly become a focus of public attention. Since May 2020, the Federal Statistical Office has published a flash indicator to supplement the results of the official insolvency statistics. This enables trends in the total insolvency figures for Germany to be identified two months earlier than before. The Federal Statistical Office uses a new data source, namely a public website with insolvency announcements, for compiling the flash indicator. This article describes the development and first results of the flash indicator, and it analyses the current insolvency situation in Germany.

The digitalisation of everyday life and the workplace are having profound effects on tourism and have created new forms of market and communication. However, travelling remains analogue. Much is demanded of Tourism 4.0 and many demands remain unmet. Travellers have new wishes that must be satisfied with appropriate digital offerings and services by hosts and tourist organisations. A lack of personnel, financial resources and subject expertise on the part of the actors hinders this process. Where digital tourism is headed remains unclear not only for hoteliers, restauranteurs and tourist marketing organisations but also for academics. The successful management of the digital transformation in tourism requires the holistic development and coordination of innovative strategies. These processes have to be rethought in light of the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

High-quality statistics are indispensable in responding to the coronavirus crisis and its enormous impact on society and the economy. Against this background, inflation measurement is of particular importance, which is reinforced by the review of the European Central Bank's monetary policy strategy. This article describes the practice of calculating the national consumer price index (CPI) as well as the Europe-wide Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP). It also addresses aspects of inflation measurement that are widely discussed at present, such as how to deal with quality changes and the inclusion of assets. Furthermore, the article considers the challenges of price measurement and the price development during the coronavirus pandemic.

Thirty years after the establishment of its state unity, Germany is again the central power of Europe, dominates the EU and has become a geo-economic power with global interests. The eastward expansion of the EU has moved Germany not only geographically but also in terms of power politics to the center of Europe. Military power has tended to become less important, while economic power has come to the fore. The political class of Germany wants to lead in Europe, but in a way that is aimed at the broadest possible support. The corona crisis does not affect all EU states equally, rather the previously existing imbalances are reproduced.

- Abstract
To review and be prepared for upcoming reforms, data from the InEK (Institut für das Entgeltsystem im Krankenhaus, institute for remuneration in hospitals) data browser and the structured quality reports for inpatient rheumatologic treatment were evaluated. Rheumatologic treatment is very diversified, both in terms of diagnoses and structures. Different specializations can be identified. Rheumatologic complex treatment (RCT) is just one of these and is performed on average in just over 10% of cases. In 2020, cases for selected rheumatological diagnoses decreased by more than 20% compared to 2019. For RCT, the decline was even more pronounced with more than 30%. Evidence of higher disease severity could not be found in the available data. It remains to be seen whether the pre-Corona caseload will be regained in the coming years. In all, 146 organizational departments with more than 20 principal diagnoses of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) were identified in 2019. Forty-seven (32%) of these coded RCT more than ten times, and 29 (20%) more than one hundred times. All 23 departments with more than 300 principle diagnoses of RA are members of the Association of Rheumatological Acute Care Hospitals (Verband rheumatologischer Akutkliniken, VRA), 15 of which participated in the KOBRA quality project and carry the VRA seal of approval. Of the 116 internal medicine departments, only 55 (47%) use a specific specialty code for a rheumatology department according to Article 301 SGB V (social insurance code). Information on specialist staffing was partly contradictory. How many cases with inflammatory rheumatic diseases are treated in specialized departments cannot be answered with the available data. Nevertheless, the available data can be used for specialist, structural, and organizational developments in acute inpatient rheumatology., (© 2022. - Abstract
Background: The corona pandemic poses enormous financial challenges for hospitals. Using the example of a clinic for orthopaedics and trauma surgery, the performance development of the first 5 weeks in comparison to last year and an evaluation of the compensation measures laid down by law will be evaluated., Methodology: Based on the performance figures, a comparison is made between the period 16.03 to 17.04.2019 and the same period in 2020. Changes in the number of cases, case mix, case-mix index and day-mix index, as well as the occupancy days are recorded. The monetary measures from the COVID-19 Hospital Relief Act are applied to these changes, and the adequacy is evaluated., Results: Compared to last year, there was a decrease in inpatient admissions of n = 307 patients in the observation period. As a result, there was a decrease of 595 points in case mix and 2320 days of occupancy. This results in a decrease in revenue of approximately EUR 1.9 million. The flat rate for empty beds represents the largest monetary compensation for the loss of revenue. It amounts to approximately EUR 1.3 million. Taking into account further support and an adjustment for variable costs, a deficit of EUR 382,069 remains for 5 weeks., Discussion: The measures taken by the Government are an important pillar for the economic security of German hospitals. The lack of differentiation of measures by specialty leads to insufficient compensation for orthopaedics and trauma surgery.
