ResearchGate is a successful website for scientific communication, where researchers can share their scientific publications. The article examines the success of ResearchGate and how libraries can improve their services in the field of Green Open Access. It is found that ResearchGate has high acceptance and usage for Green Open Access publications, while institutional document servers and university websites are less utilized. ResearchGate provides a simple and understandable platform for scientists to upload and share their research findings. Information on copyright and author rights is also provided. The article describes ResearchGate's policies and procedures regarding copyright. ResearchGate respects intellectual property and asks users to do the same. A study shows that 40 percent of English-language journal articles violate copyright. ResearchGate has been sued by publishers in the past, had to remove articles, and restrict public accessibility. The company is commercial and has various sources of revenue. Despite some criticisms, ResearchGate is an important source for scientific research and contributes to the accessibility of research findings. We present ALMA, a new research project aimed at investigating the interaction between language and knowledge practices from AD 1100 to 1500. Our primary question is how Medieval Italian, French, Occitan, Catalan, and Spanish developed into languages of knowledge and scholarship (German Wissen(schafts)sprachen) in permanent opposition to and exchange with the predominant Latin (but also with Arab, Greek, and Hebrew). Focusing on two domains, medicine and law, the project combines linguistics, text philology, and the history of science with the Digital Humanities and ontology engineering. ALMA will create two multi-lingual, domain-specific text corpora by integrating text editions of hitherto unedited manuscripts and incunabula, and digitized printed editions. Our corpus-linguistic exploration of the ALMA corpora will provide the basis for lexical-semantic studies that analyze emerging knowledge networks and the depth of their linguistic representations. We hypothesize that language evolution and the development of more complex linguistic structures will allow for measuring the impact of knowledge practices on medieval vernacular languages. We will trace the dissemination of lexical material across languages, language varieties, cultural spaces, and periods. This will enable us to follow specific vernacular communication channels. We will use cutting-edge technologies to compile, publish, and share our findings, and to model them in the form of historicized ontologies and Linked Data. Our onomasiological, ontology-driven approach will result in the creation of domain models that can be re-used within the Semantic Web. Facing increasing interregional and international competition, the need for innovating economic and socio-institutional structures is virulent. One possibility is establishing clusters to promote the idea that developing a network of companies with a mix of cooperative and competitive practices leads to competitive advantages for the respective area. Organizing clusters means developing a cluster culture, a communication strategy and a selection criterion for creating the desired mix of companies. We base our opinion paper on an extensive literature review of scientific sources about clusters, cluster policy and Place Leadership. We reveal that the prevailing cluster policy often does not lead to sustainably successful clusters. We conclude that we need a shared vision among cluster members to develop resilient clusters. Shared visions create a sense of belonging, social identity, and internalization of values and attitudes. This way, it is possible that a sustainable and trust-oriented network structure can develop, and knowledge spillovers within the cluster, necessary for resilient clusters, can occur. True Place Leadership is crucial to deal with the needed diversity of actors and stakeholders, some of whom are in competition, inspiring, motivating, and guiding shared, cooperative, and collaborative ways of working. This article contributes to the understanding of power structures in civil society by exploring organizational connections of leaders holding multiple top-level leadership positions in resourcerich civil society organizations (CSOs) in Sweden. Based on unique association network data among national level CSOs collected in 2018, we discuss possible explanations behind the observed clusters of organizational connections via leader interlocks. Our results show that the resource-rich, national CSOs in Sweden are highly connected with each other via leader interlocks. We find that working within similar policy areas, sharing similar ideological backgrounds or historical legacies, and being a member of sectoral umbrella organizations or federations are among the salient characteristics of CSOs connected via leader interlocks. We suggest a multilevel understanding of leader interlocks among CSOs, including those at the individual level, as an avenue for further research. The focus on the individual level explanation would allow an understanding of the field of CSOs through the lens of an elite phenomenon rather than an organization-centered view. To speak of the body in a relationship with cinema is to enter into a form of intimacy through the representation that is made of this body. Introducing it into a documentary system means affirming the apprehension of a reality anchored in a place at the same time as the various protagonists of the film are positioning themselves. Based on the interactions between filmmaker, filmmakers and spectators, this film genre is based on an educational approach insofar as it allows to acquire knowledge on how to live in a territory. The experience of fifteen years of making workshop and documentary films in the so-called "cities" in the South of France, offers a unique situation to build a representation of this way of being in a space particularly stigmatized by the media. A process of collaboration, (co-)creation or participation develops at the same time as the bodies set up. These are affirmed at the same time as man positions himself within society, thus testifying to a policy of bodies.

A monographic conceptual history of the West has yet to be written. This article discusses the multiple challenges such an undertaking faces and suggests how they can be met theoretically and methodically. By sharing some preliminary findings, this article, moreover, demonstrates that a history of the concept of the West will produce empirical results relevant for the modern political history of Europe and North America.
