Der Aufsatz beschreibt den metasprachlichen Umgang mit Termini im Deutschen Bundestag. Es geht also um die sprachliche Praxis der Terminologiearbeit in einem Umfeld, in dem Begriffsarbeit und Fachsprache zwar einerseits konstitutiv sind, anderseits aber die persuasive Grundfunktion politischer Sprache Verständlichkeit und Allgemeinsprachlichkeit voraussetzt. Auf der Datenbasis der linguistisch aufbereiteten Plenarprotokolle des Deutschen Bundestags wende ich ein korpushermeneutisches Verfahren an. Die verschiedenen Praktiken des Umgangs mit Termini werden beschrieben und an exemplarischen Belegen diskursfunktional bestimmt. Ich unterscheide dabei saliente von nicht-salienten Praktiken der Terminologiearbeit. Es zeigt sich, dass sowohl das Definieren als auch der metakommunikative Umgang mit Terminologie eng mit Praktiken der politischen Positionierung und des semantischen Kampfes in politischen Debatten verflochten ist. Schließlich diskutiere ich die Anwendbarkeit sowohl des Verfahrens als auch der Ergebnisse auf die DaF-Didaktik.The paper describes the meta-linguistic handling of terms in the German Bundestag. It is about the linguistic practice of terminology work in an environment in which terminology work and technical language are constitutive on the one hand, but on the other hand, the persuasive basic function of political language presupposes comprehensibility and general language. On the data basis of the linguistically processed plenary minutes of the German Bundestag, I apply a corpus-hermeneutic procedure. The different practices of dealing with terms are described and discourse-functionally determined on the basis of exemplary evidence. I distinguish between salient and non-salient practices of terminology work. It is shown that both defining and metacommunicative use of terminology are closely intertwined with practices of political positioning and semantic struggle in political debates. The article is devoted to certain peculiarities of actualization of speech strategies in the genre of parliamentary debates in the Republic of South Ossetia. Parliamentary debates is a genre of political discourse which functions as an integral macro unit of discourse due to realization of a number of strategies, among which the most prominent are: incentive to reciprocal reaction, the use of well-founded metaphorical expressions ,intensification of statements. The analysis of factual material discloses the fact that speech techniques showing discursive characteristics of south ossetian parliamentary communication are peculiar to parliamentary discourse as a whole. At the same time the analysis of parliamentary debates in the parliament of RSO helped to reveal specific features of the national political discourse, which is an institutional type of communication, taking place in an ethnic-based register of intercourse. We can point to use of questions in the 3rd person singular on the present topic meant for discovering new information, use of orientation and biological metaphors, personification, (de)intensifiers, downtowners, modal verbs. Metaphoric tone of speech occurs in emotional speech acts mostly. The aim of all these strategies is to reach a definite goal, to draw attention of listeners to the most significant questions on the agenda, propose personal analysis of the current situation, try to criticize the opponent in a polite manner, avoid conflict, make an evasive answer.
