The debate on Artificial Intelligence (AI) regulation has been intensifying in recent years, driven by technological advancements and the widespread adoption of AI across various sectors. This paper aims to examine the key issues surrounding AI regulation by employing the classical rhetorical tool of loci argumentorum. Several questions raised by AI regulation generate complex and fragmented responses, which risk being counterproductive for innovators, for those wary of the European legislator’s excessive caution, and even for those highlighting the risks of the ongoing revolution.
