Abstract

The article discusses eBook acquisitions by the university and provincial library of Darmstadt, Germany as of 2007. Different eBook licensing and sales models of different publishers are described. Various download statistics are presented. The availability of eBooks is said not to have negatively affected hardcover check-outs and sales of the same titles.
