The article describes the introduction of TENSAGEX Prime, an ether sulfate with optimized 1,4-dioxane content, by KLK Tensachem. This product meets the requirements of a new regulation from the state of New York in 2019, which demands a very low 1,4-dioxane content in SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfate). KLK Tensachem has reduced the 1,4-dioxane content in its ether sulfates to a technical minimum through innovative technologies. The TENSAGEX Prime portfolio includes various ether sulfates with low 1,4-dioxane values. KLK Tensachem and Stockmeier Chemie offer this solution with dioxane values below 5 ppm.
