According to a study by RWTH Aachen University on behalf of the Impuls Foundation of the VDMA, only 11% of engineers in mechanical engineering are women. In order to attract and retain more female engineers, the study recommends that companies adapt their website to appeal to women and provide information about the company and its work culture. It is also recommended to use gender-neutral language and show pictures of employees on the website. Furthermore, job advertisements should be clearly formulated and include requirements that appeal to women. [Extracted from the article]
