- Abstract
This paper presents a study of the spatiotemporal fragmentation of the short story "Bliss", by Katherine Mansfield. Her technique exploits the marks of atmosphere tale through the lean poetic rhythm and the unpredictable, techniques of modern English literature. In the analysis, it emphasizes the spatiotemporal displacement of the protagonist by their personal dilemmas amid values of a futile and talkative London society. Methodologically, it was applied the concepts of modern literature of Virginia Woolf, reverie of Gaston Bachelard, and heterotopia of Michel Foucault. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
