This communication reports the analytical properties of several compounds found in a conditioning facility of new synthetic drugs discovered in France. Mitragynine was identified in vegetal samples (kratom). The compounds 2C-C-NBOMe, 25I-NBOMe, RH-34 and UR-144, together with a new molecule, 2-(2,3-dimethoxyphenyl)-N- (3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl)ethanamine (called DMA-NBTOMe), were identified in samples in the form of blotter papers, liquids and powders. Data generated by gas chromatography coupled to electronic impact mass spectrometry for all compounds are displayed. GC-EI-MS spectra of acetylated 25I-NBOMe and DMA-NBTOMe are also given. Structural confirmation was obtained by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) for 2C-C-NBOMe, 25I-NBOMe, RH-34 and DMA-NBTOMe. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The Ascomycete fungus Aphanoascus fulvescens isolated from goose dung was investigated for its secondary metabolites, yielding five new indole alkaloids okaramines V-Z (1-5) and eleven known derivatives (6-16). Their structures were determined by 1D, 2D NMR spectra and HRMS data. Compounds 6, 8, 11 and 12 showed significant to moderate cytotoxicity against the mouse lymphoma cell line L5178Y with IC 50 values ranging from 4.0 to 14.7 μM.
