Oyster farm structures represent artificial obstacles which can disturb tidal currents and wave propagation, and thus modify sediment transport patterns. Local deposition may result from these modifications, in proportions that may threaten the oyster farming. The impact of structures on hydrodynamics, waves and currents, is investigated at different spatial scales by means of in-situ measurements, experimental tests and numerical modeling. These different approaches show that in the near-field, tidal currents are modified in terms of intensity and direction but there is no significant impact on the waves. On the other hand, at the scale of the oyster farm, a significant reduction of the current velocities and a large wave height attenuation are recorded. From a sedimentary point of view, higher turbidity levels and a smoother evolution of the sediment altimetry are observed under an oyster table than in the adjacent alleys. The bottom shear stress reduction, due to wave attenuation by the farm, induces a decrease of the wave erosive potential, which leads to a different sediment granulometry and a deposition trend in the downstream part of the farm (with regards to wave propagation). A numerical sediment transport model of Mont saint-Michel Bay is used and calibrated by our in-situ measurements. It shows that the impact of structures on long term sedimentation is essentially local and is negligible at the scale of the bay., Les structures ostréicoles constituent des obstacles artificiels pouvant perturber l’écoulement des courants de marée et la propagation des vagues, et ainsi modifier le transport sédimentaire. Il en résulte des envasements locaux parfois très prononcés et menaçants pour l’activité ostréicole. L’impact des structures sur les forçages hydrodynamiques, vagues et courants, est donc évalué à différentes échelles spatiales par le biais de mesures in-situ, de modélisation expérimentale et de modélisation numérique. Ces différentes approches ont permis de montrer qu’en champ proche, les courants sont modifiés en termes d’intensité et de direction alors qu’il n’existe pas de modification significative des vagues. A l’échelle d’un parc ostréicole en revanche, un ralentissement significatif des courants et une atténuation importante des hauteurs de vagues sont mesurés. D’un point de vue sédimentaire, nous avons observé sous une table à huîtres une turbidité plus importante ainsi qu’une évolution altimétrique du sédiment moins perturbée qu’à proximité. La diminution des contraintes de cisaillement sur le fond, due à l’atténuation des vagues par le parc, entraîne une réduction du potentiel érosif des vagues, ce qui se traduit par une granulométrie différente et une tendance à l’envasement dans la partie aval du parc vis-à-vis de la propagation des vagues. Une modélisation numérique de la Baie du Mont Saint-Michel a été mise en œuvre et calibrée par nos mesures in-situ. Elle a montré que l’impact des structures sur la sédimentation à long terme est essentiellement local et est donc négligeable à l’échelle de la baie.

International audience; This paper investigates the relative influence of waves, wind-induced current and tidal current on the sediment mobility of a macrotidal environment belonging to the inner shelf seaward of the pertuis charentais (France). Past studies, based on hydrodynamic measurements already showed the dominant role of swells in the initiation of the motion of sand in an area located between the Ré and Oléron islands. Even if the method has some limits, using wave (SWAN) and 2DH hydrodynamic (MARS) modelling, we extend spatially the knowledge of the relative contribution of waves (without consideration of wave-induced currents), tides and wind-induced current in the non-cohesive sediment mobility.

From the acquirement of the harbor of Saint-Cyr-on-Loire by canons of Saint - Martin of Tours in the beginning of the XIIe century, it is possible to lead a reflection on the relation left-right banks in Tours in the Middle Ages. Thanks to a regressive and crossing survey of the planimetric and written sources, whose global features must have been noted, we propose hypotheses concerning the configuration of the bed of the Loire in Tours in the beginning of the XVIIe century and at the end of the Middle Ages, while taking account of islands and amenities of societies, as groyne of current derivation. Then, we can make the assumption that the choice of the Saint-Cyr harbor explains itself in part by the game of currents, what makes of the Loire a hydrological restraint socialized by canons, that had integrated in their spatial practices hydromorphological dimension of their environment., A partir de l'acquisition du port de Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire par les chanoines de Saint-Martin de Tours, au début du XIIe siècle, il est possible de mener une réflexion sur la relation rive droite/rive gauche à Tours au Moyen Age. Grâce à une étude régressive et croisée des sources planimétriques et diplomatiques, dont il convient de poser au préalable les caractéristiques générales, afin de bien mesurer les effets de source, nous proposons des hypothèses concernant la configuration du lit de la Loire à Tours au début du XVIIe siècle et à la fin du Moyen Age, en tenant compte des îles et des aménagements des sociétés, comme les épis de dérivation des courants. Nous pouvons ensuite poser comme hypothèse que le choix du port de Saint-Cyr s'explique en partie par le jeu des courants, ce qui fait de la Loire une contrainte hydrologique socialisée par les chanoines, qui avaient intégré dans leurs pratiques spatiales la dimension hydromorphologique de leur environnement.
