People had to stay in their homes for long time during the pandemic like SARS or COVID-19. Under this experience, people put forward many opinions and suggestions on the current situation of urban residential architecture design and community planning. The existing deficiencies can be learned form people’s perceptions and the findings is helpful to the sustainable development of cities. Based on the literature survey, the main issues of public dissatisfaction after SARS are summarized and analyzed. An online survey-based households was conducted to explore the updated housing, environmental, and psychological focal points caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. The main concerns of urban residents on house and community design and planning after the two pandemics are described and reviewed. It is found that there are additional focus on residential buildings and the community environment after the two pandemics. People are still very concerned about elements such as sunlight, natural ventilation, and sewage treatment to prevent the virus transmission. Some deficiency in housing and communities still leave urban residents dissatisfied, and existing urban housing and community designs may still not be ready for the next pandemic. The pandemic has not only renewed awareness of some important basic elements of urban living that cannot be ignored, but has also brought about changes in people’s lives.

Ankle dislocation is the most common sports injury and is often associated with sports injuries. Among them, the tendon ligament causes damage to the posterior ankle ligament and the posterior ankle ligament. Thallium (Tl) is highly toxic in the environment. In order to solve the harm of Tl pollution to the environment, thiol-polystyrene microsphere (TPM) with good adsorption properties for Tl were prepared in this paper. The GAUSSIAN software was used to calculate the adsorption performance of the TPM on Tl+, and the adsorption mechanism was discussed. The thermogravimetric analysis show that the TPM prepared with chloromethyl polystyrene microspheres (CPM) and thiourea as the main raw materials has good chemical thermal stability. In the Tl+ solution of 1mg/L, the adsorption and removal rate of the TPMs in was 99%, with a significant adsorption of Tl+ properties. When the dosage of TPM is 0.4L/g, pH is 6-10, temperature is 5-20 °C, and adsorption time reaches 640min, thallium-containing water with Tl+ concentration of 5mg/L can be treated to within the national discharge standard (5μg/L). The analytical effect of 0.5mol/L dilute sulfuric acid on TPM can reach 99.96%, and the adsorption capacity of TPM on Tl+ is reduced by only 0.1% after repeated use 4 times, which has good regeneration performance. The modified polystyrene microspheres were characterized by EDS, FT-IR, Raman spectra and XPS, and it was proved that the TPM were ligated with Tl+ through the grafted mercapto group, so as to adsorb and remove Tl+ from the solution. According to the isotherm and kinetic model of TPM adsorption Tl+, the maximum saturated adsorption amount of TPM to Tl+ can reach 3.47mg/g, mainly chemical adsorption, and the membrane diffusion stage is the main control step of TPM adsorption Tl+. The results showed that the TPM could be a promising adsorbent with good adsorption capacity and reusability for Tl+ removal from wastewater

Solar panel supporting systems are often affected by strong wind loads, especially in typhoon-intensive areas such as Southeast Asia. This paper focuses on the study of flat-panel solar energy system. The numerical model of solar panel supporting system has been built by using the fluid flow control equations. Firstly, the numerical simulation of aerodynamic characteristics of the solar panel supporting system are conducted, and then the pressure results gained from CFD are loaded and coupled to the front and back of the solar panels. Lastly, the stress, strain and the modal analysis results of the support system under four different directional wind loads are achieved. The conclusions include: (1) under the condition of same wind speed, the wind pressure and distribution of the solar panel are different with different wind directions, and the wind load perpendicular to the solar panel has the greatest influence on the solar supporting system. (2)The modal frequency of flat panel solar supporting system is little affected by wind directions and average wind pressure. In the structure design, low order vibration should be considered mainly in the supporting part of the system, while the high order vibration should be generally considered in vibrating risk of solar panel. (3)The first six modal frequencies coupled with fluid-structure interaction of the flat panel solar supporting system are all slightly lower than the free modal frequencies.

In order to verify the feasibility of Fe/C microelectrolysis-Fenton oxidation for mature landfill leachate treatment in industrial application, this study conducted the treatment processes at full-scale by physicochemical and spectral characterization. The full-scale studies showed that 48.17% of the dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and 42.27% of the dissolved organic nitrogen (DON) were removed by the microelectrolysis-Fenton oxidation process, respectively. Spectra analysis further suggested that the mature leachate was mainly composed of tryptophan-like and fulvic-like compounds. The combination of microelectrolysis and Fenton oxidation efficiently decomposed the aromatic C=C into carboxyl-C and decreased the molecular size of DOC, resulting in a dramatic reduce (97.1%-98.3%) of the fluorescence intensity. The DON removal by microelectrolysis-Fenton oxidation likely associated with the NH2-decomposition of tryptophan-like and aromatic compounds into NO3-N. The tryptophan-like compounds may play a dominant role in Ba binding, while Pb and Cd were likely bound to both the tryptophan-like and fulvic-like compounds. Above 60% of the heavy metals were removed in the microelectrolysis-Fenton oxidation section. Results above confirmed the effectiveness of Fe/C microelectrolysis-Fenton oxidation for mature landfill leachate treatment in industrial application.

As the congestion point of urban road network, it is critical to keep the intersection traffic clear. The model was built targeting on decreasing vehicle delays and vehicle emissions, taking traffic queens, stopping time, road capacity and capacity utilization as verification indicators with two constraint conditions which are cycle time length and green ratio by means of genetic algorithm. And the dynamic vehicle emissions rate was taken into account. According to the data of Ke Ji Road-Feng Huinan Road intersection and Tong Yi Road-Tong De Road intersection, which show that the method is practical, and traffic queens, stopping time, vehicle delays, vehicle emissions decrease 34.03%,28.79%,48.73% and 28.04% at most, road capacity and capacity utilization increase 15.67% and 7.74% at most.

To improve the dynamic performance of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) drive system, a adaptive nonsingular terminal sliding model control((NTSMC) strategy was proposed. The proposed control strategy presents an adaptive variable-rated exponential reaching law which the L1 norm of state variables is introduced. Exponential and constant approach speed can adaptively adjust according to the state variables’ distance to the equilibrium position.The proposed scheme can shorten the reaching time and weaken system chatting. The method was applied to the PMSM speed servo system, and compared with the traditional terminal-sliding-mode regulator and PI regulator. Simulation results show that the proposed control strategy can improve dynamic, steady performance and robustness.
