Molecular identification and characterization have now become inseparable from organic synthesis. However, when the synthesized compound is a transient species, there are few analytical devices for its determination.Our laboratory has an apparatus dedicated to the study of transient species, the photoelectronic spectrometer with UV radiation. It has made it possible to characterize, among other things, a large number of gas-phase compounds, by determining their ionization potentials.In addition, in order to expand our analytical range we developed during this thesis a coupling between a cryostat, which allows to trap these species at very low temperature and an IR spectrometer, in order to have a spectral signature.This combined comparison of the results from these two techniques allowed us to characterise hetero-carbenes with a very short service life ( s).Thus, after describing the various works that have in the past made it possible to identify derivatives of non-current co-ordinations of the family of silicon, germanium, phosphorus, arsenic, and carbon, we will show how we were able to obtain the electronic fingerprint of phospha-carbenes, thio-phospha-carbenes and sila-carbenes, which had previously never been identified.These analyses were conducted in parallel with modelling studies that allowed us not only to support the interpretation of the resulting photoelectronic and infrared spectra, but also to explain the reaction mechanisms that give us access to these transient species.Finally, this complementary computational approach also provided additional information on all the electronic and structural properties of the compounds analysed.; L’identification et la caractérisation moléculaires sont aujourd’hui devenues indissociables de la synthèse organique. Cependant, lorsque le composé synthétisé est une espèce transitoire, les appareils analytiques permettant sa détermination sont peu nombreux. Notre laboratoire possède un appareillage dédié à l’étude d’espèces transitoires, le spectromètre photoélectronique à rayonnement UV. Il a permis de caractériser entre autre, un grand nombre de composés en phase gaz, en déterminant leurs potentiels d’ionisations.De plus, afin d’élargir notre parc analytique nous avons durant cette thèse développé un couplage entre un cryostat, qui permet de piéger ces espèces à très basse température et un spectromètre IR, afin d’en avoir une signature spectrale. Cette confrontation couplée des résultats issues de ces deux techniques nous a ainsi permis de caractériser des hétéro-carbènes possédant une très courte durée de vie (< s). Ainsi, après avoir décrit les différents travaux ayant permis par le passé d’identifier des dérivées de coordinences non usuelles de la famille du silicium, du germanium, du phosphore, de l’arsenic, et du carbone, nous montrerons comment nous avons pu obtenir l’empreinte électronique de phospha-carbènes, de thio-phospha-carbènes et de sila-carbènes qui n’avaient jusque-là jamais pu être identifiés. Ces analyses ont été menées en parallèle d’études de modélisation qui nous ont permis non seulement d’appuyer l’interprétation des spectres photoélectroniques et infrarouges obtenus, mais également d’expliquer les mécanismes réactionnels nous donnant accès à ces espèces transitoires. Enfin, cette approche computationnelle complémentaire, a également apporté des compléments d’information sur l’ensemble des propriétés électronique et structurale des composés analysés.
