The article substantiates the necessity of transforming the educational process to train specialists in the field of environmental safety in water resources management. The main peculiarity of labor functions performed by such specialists is in the randomness and secrecy of natural processes and the appearance of consequences from any type of activity over a long period of time. It is necessary to understand the cause-and-effect relationships between processes and the individual parameters that affect the speed of their realization in order to solve such problems. The result of the research was the development of the training concept, which allows the presentation of a task as a set of elementary actions that require particular resource support for their fulfillment. Potentially possible problems in their fulfillment are determined. It is recommended that models of “digital twins” of systems capable of imitating the reaction to certain influences be used to improve the efficiency of the educational process and perform highly specialized actions.

A three-bin moving average window (3B-MAW) model was proposed and compared with the work-based window method (WB-WM) to investigate the on-road emission characteristics of heavy-duty vehicles. The invalid data of remote monitoring were mainly composed of the NOx sensor’s abnormal data and the uploaded data after the engine shutdown. In the 3B-MAW model, each data was attributed to one, two or three bins. The percentage of the three bins were linked to the vehicle’s real driving conditions. In order to gain the emission calculation accuracy and a smaller scale of required data, the value of the four main parameters, i.e., the minimum window number, the window width, the first cut-off and the second cut-off are set around 2 400 s, 300 s, 6% and 20%, respectively. Since the window power is no longer required, the 3B-MAW method is able to capture the low load emission characteristics more effectively, compared to the WB-WM. Therefore, the 3B-MAW method is a more appreciate approach to analyse on-road random driving conditions.

Resilience has emerged as a crucial measure of a company’s ability to withstand challenges in the current complex business environment. However, prior research indicates that employee diversity may not consistently lead to a positive impact on corporate resilience. This paper investigates the impact of diversity on resilience in the face of various external crises by examining the performance of Chinese listed companies during the 20-year period following their accession to the World Trade Organization. Employee diversity is operationalized in this study by changes in the number of employees in non-core departments, while resilience is represented by the fluctuation of the stock price minus the industry range fluctuation. Employing a fixed-effect model to analyze 20-year panel data, we find that an increase in employee diversity does not always lead to improved corporate resilience during external crises. The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between employee diversity and resilience in the face of different external shocks and explore why diversity may fail to enhance resilience during such circumstances.

Aeolian sandy grassland area is the main geomorphic type in the north of Yulin. The ecological environment is fragile and the problem of desertification is serious, which needs to be controlled urgently. The introduction of herbs is considered to be an effective means to control the sandy beach area. In this paper, licorice was selected as the indicator crop, and the introduction performance of licorice under different treatments in Yulin Sandy Grassland was observed through field experiment. The results show that: (1) after treatment, the physical structure of aeolian sandy soil is effectively improved. Compared with the control, the moisture content, temperature and porosity of aeolian sandy soil increased in varying degrees, which were 31.62%, 5.12% and 5.26% respectively, and the soil bulk density decreased by 4.08%. (2) After treatment, the chemical structure of aeolian sandy soil was significantly improved, the electrical conductivity, soil organic matter and nutrients were significantly increased, which were 22.63%, 21.09% and 4.66% respectively, and the pH decreased by 2.51% compared with the control group. (3) The treatment group could effectively improve the plant height, rejuvenation rate and coverage of Glycyrrhiza uralensis by 14.95%, 29.79% and 41.40% respectively.

Some argue that conflicts primarily affect men and that women should not be taken into account because men dominate the outcome of conflicts and wars, while most women are far from the battlefield. However, this view ignores the fact that women and girls are the two main victims of conflict and that they should have the same rights as men and that gender should not be used to define or limit a person’s behavior. In this study, we will define whether war and conflict have contributed to women’s advancement in employment and education. The impact of war and conflict on women covers all aspects of feminism. In this paper, we will analyze the impact of conflict on three main aspects: female health, education, and employment.

The corrosion damage and leakage of heat transfer tube of steam generator were important factors of nuclear power accident, which is closely related to the national nuclear power production safety and people's life and property. The influence of the size change of cylindrical defect on burst pressure of inconel690 alloy heat transfer tube was studied by finite element simulation and experimental measurement. According to the simulation and test data, the relationship between burst pressure and damage parameter is established. The results show that for cylindrical defects with small depth, there is an extreme point of cylinder damage diameter b which makes the damage maximum, which makes the burst pressure at a minimum. The research results can provide reference for accurate evaluation of residual life of heat transfer tubes.

This article studies the concepts of cultural symbols and design methods of the digital cultural and creative products of The Palace Museum to provide new ideas for the design of digital cultural and creative products of the museum. We choose Twelve Beauties of Prince Yong as an example, the first digital cultural creation product of The Palace Museum.

In order to solve the problem that the traditional stubble cutting machine of potato is not complete, which the chopped stalks cannot be collected and utilized, a side delivering potato stubble cutting mechanism was designed in this paper. The characteristic is that the cutting, clamping and delivering of potato plant stalks completed by the cooperation of the reel and the triangle-clamping chain, and the strip is laid on the right side of the machine. The machine can manually adjust the height of the cutting table, easy to operate, installed in the front of the tractor.

The operation optimization for the cold end system is an efficient means to improve the economy of steam turbine units. To compensate for the inadequacy of the traditional mechanism analysis utilized in obtaining actual operating characteristics of the cold end system, the prediction model of the exhaust pressure was established on the basis of mechanism analysis combined with data from the operation process. An online adaptive updating strategy was introduced to guarantee the modeling accuracy. A discrete model of the cooling tower outlet water temperature (CTOWT) was constructed based on the operation data partitioned into different groups according to the pump operating mode change (POMC). Combining the above two models, the coupled model of the cold end system was therefore obtained. A model-based operation optimization system was then implemented for the cold end system in a coal-fired power plant. Experimental trials authenticate that the optimization suggestions provided by the system can effectively enhance the benefit of power generation.

This paper takes the nuclear power plant power distribution cabinet fire as example and adopts FPRA methodology to analyse the failure probability of cable insulation at contiguous region among distribution cabinet. The influential factor that fire brigade dealt with the fire in the spot is considered in this research. The cumulative distribution function of fire brigade’s arriving and extinguishing time is conducted discretization, confirming the sample statistics of areas and establishing the numbers of cable insulation failure events of distribution cabinet fire. Combining failure predicted model of cable insulation and calculating the failure situation of cable insulation under each of fire background, obtaining the probability that cable insulation failure events among the distribution cabinet fires. The results show that the HRRmax of distribution cabinet fire in term of case scenario is 750 kW, the cable never happens the insulation failure; when the distribution cabinet fire is 1000 kW, the possibility of cable insulation failure is 12.6%.

In this paper, experimental and simulated investigations were carried out to understand the effect of microstructure on the fatigue crack tip strain field of laser melting deposited Ti–5Al–5Mo–5V–1Cr–1Fe titanium alloy. The mechanical properties of the laser melting deposited material corresponding to different microstructure zones were measured by digital image correlation method under in-situ static stretching, and the results indicate that the direction of primary α lamellas has great influence on the mechanical property of each grain. The crack tip strain fields considering the influence of material microstructure under constant amplitude conditions were measured, and the strain field of plastic zone has significant difference. Crystal plasticity finite element simulation of the static tensile and crack tip field considering the microstructure effect had been conducted and compare with experiment results. The simulation results are in good agreement with the test results in both the static tension strain field and crack tip strain field.

With input parameters being determined, simplified physical model and heat conduction equation were adopted to establish a power cable insulation failure prediction model in fire, and the validation test was carried out. The internal structure of the cable was simplified to a one-dimensional physical model with three layers, to derive the calculation method of internal structure parameters of cable physical model. Differential equation of heat conduction, which could reflect the internal temperature of cable, was constructed based on basic assumptions, to establish a cable insulation cable failure prediction model with mixed layer heat diffusion coefficient, environment temperature change and insulation cable failure temperature as input parameters. The method to determine model input parameters was also proposed. ZR-YJV and SDR-1 cable thermal radiation furnace were selected in the experiments to obtain insulation failure temperature and time, as well as environmental temperature change of the cable. The experimental results showed that the constructed model had relative small error in predicting cable insulation failure time.

To investigate the effect of mortar composition on visco-elastic response of asphalt mixture, The Asphalt Mixture Performance Test (SPT) was conducted on several asphalt mixtures for different ratios of filler to asphalt (F/A) , fiber dosage and proportion of cement instead of mineral powder. The effect of F/A, fiber dosage and and proportion of cement replacement on visco-elastic mechanical parameters (dynamic modulus and phase angle) of asphalt mixtures are analyzed. The results indicate that the dynamic modulus of asphalt mixtures increases first and then decreases with the increases in F/A and fiber dosage. And the more significant differences in these dynamic moduli appear at the higher the load frequency. The asphalt mixture with the lowest F/A has the biggest phase angle, and the difference in the phase angles of those asphalt mixtures is not significant. The changes of phase angle have a close relationship with the load frequency. The resistance to permanent deformation of asphalt mixture can be greatly enhanced by adding fiber. The effect of cement instead of mineral powder on the viscoelastic property of asphalt mixture is relatively small, while the resistance to high-temperature deformation of asphalt mixture can be improved to some extent.

Aiming at the problem of electric power data integration and sharing in Jilin Province, China, this paper proposed a method based on SOA which has high scalability, flexibility in strong power data and application integration. This approach establishes a web service-oriented system architecture, using SQL Server 2012 as its backend database and using C# as the programming language. And this approach has developed three kinds of terminal applications namely C/S(Client/Server), B/S(Browser /Server) and M/S(Mobile/Server). Client applications send all kinds of request to the electric power cloud computing centre, meanwhile web service components receive the requests and call corresponding functions to compute, and then return the results to the original app through the internet. The results show that system achieved the target we expected and successfully realized electric power information data integration, release and sharing.

By the method of interfacial polymerization, the novel microcapsules were prepared with polystyrene as wall material and polyether silicone as core material. In order to demonstrate the morphologies, particle size distribution and properties of microcapsules, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), laser particle size analysis and infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) are also applied in the experiments, and the thermal stability of microcapsules is obtained by thermal gravimetric (TG) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The material ratio (core to wall in weight) of microcapsules and stirring rate ratio are discussed. The results show that under the optimum process conditions of a material ratio (core to wall in weight) which is 4:10 and agitating rate of 500r·min‒1, the synthesized polyether silicone microcapsules have a higher yield and the coating and densification properties; their average size is 210μm, and the thermal stability temperature can reach up to 390°C.
