In the essay I will analyse in depth the teaching of theatre in high schools. I will point out one of the contradictions of Italian high school about theatre teaching: in the morning theatre is taught as a form of literature in the field of Humanities, in the afternoon a theatre workshop is organized at school and in the evening teachers take their students to see live performances. Theatrical literature and theatrical activity are therefore distinct. In Italian schools, the rigid distinction between text and performance remains. I will try to suggest some solutions by referring to recent studies on Aristotle’s Poetics.

This essay focuses on the unpublished comparison between Heracles’ banquet in the fourth episode of the Alcestis and the Orestes’ one, in the second episode of Iphigenia in Tauris. For the first time, these scenes will be also juxtaposed to the Choes, the feast celebrated during the Anthesteria, in which laughter and pain coexist. The common feature between banquets and feasting is the value of xenia.

The paratext of Le Rouge et le Noir can be considered as a text extension and as part of the enunciative system on which the entire novelistic construction is built on. On the one hand, the mise en texte is a place of intersection between narrative, politics and history, and on the other it is the centre of intertextuality: here the textual space of the novel must open to other writings and other fictional spaces. The enunciative plans’ mix signals the irruption of history in the narrative, at the same time it points out the irruption of intertextuality in the text. I would like to offer two examples that show the effects of this mise en texte “device” in Le Rouge et le Noir.

This chapter is an investigation of cultic practices in Iron Age and early Roman Veneto (Italy) through the analysis of inscribed utensils used for the preparation and consumption of food and drink in sanctuary sites. By drawing on anthropological research which has long recognised the importance of eating and drinking as powerful metaphors and practices of a paramount importance in the negotiation of a large range of socio-political and economic dynamics, my aim is to show how a capillary analysis of material culture specifically related to ritual drinking and food consumption can be an important tool to shed light on issues of gender, ethnicity, social interaction and power negotiation. Given the role of culinary equipment as a symbolic vehicle for the expression of social concerns regarding the relation with the supernatural as well as the negotiation of fundamental socio-political strategies via ritual food consumption, I argue that such categories of artefacts bear multifaceted meanings and deep social significance, and always deserve full attention in archaeological research.

The analysis of the distribution of foreign objects, on the basis of the archaeological evidences (both published and unpublished), makes it possible to reconsider the role of Tarquinia during the Orientalizing period, focusing on the relationship with other Etruscan cities and the development in Tarquinia itself during the Archaic and Classical periods. In fact, besides funerary tumuli, showing the power of the aristoi, the spread inland of Near-Eastern aegyptiaca and Greek (in particular Corinthian) objects show an opening to Mediterranean relationships. This general setting makes it possible to assess the territorial organization pursued by the Tarquinian community in order to guarantee the abundant supply of these commercial trends. Another interesting sign of these Mediterranean contacts is the adoption in local ware tradition of foreign vase-shapes (e.g. pyxides, oinochoai, etc.), showing both new trends in the development of vase-shapes and the respect of the local religious tradition.

Between 1944 and 1947, the Consistoire Central des Israélites de France, the flagship institution of French Judaism, internally assessed the responsibilities of one of its members, Raymond Ducas, whose escape from the Drancy internment camp and flight to Switzerland in 1943 allegedly led to the arrest of his cousin by marriage André Baur. This case questions an individual conduct, which was subject to divergent interpretations. On the one hand, Ducas’ choice was considered disloyal and dishonorable by Baur’s relatives, and on the other, heroic and patriotic by the former escapee and his supporters. Drawing on the abundant documentation this case has generated, this article explores the conflict of loyalty between “Religion and Fatherland,” the Consistoire’s motto, triggered by the disloyalty attributed to one of its members

The article reviews the March 2014 issue of the periodical "Revue d'histoire de la Shoah" entitled "'Et la terre ne trembla pas,': la Shoah dans les Livres du souvenir" edited by Georges Bensoussan, Katy Hazan, and Audrey Kichelewski.

On July 1st, 1837, Stendhal publishes a novella, Les Cenci, in La Revue des Deux Mondes. He deliberately proposes an arbitrary translation of a text from the Roman manuscript of Palazzo Caetani (BNF, Ms Italien 172). Stendhal, who is not new to translation, has already published a novella from the manuscripts, and he progressively evolves into a re-writing of the original text. Nevertheless, in Les Cenci he is still faithful to the original text and the new text shows up the first signals of a paradigmatic change, e.g. the long introduction. Textual occurrences, marks of additions or "flotsams" from the manuscript, point out his poetics of translation. My purpose is to highlight how some of these text "flotsams" are the symptom of a poetics of mystification, which in turn identifies his poetics of enunciation and reception. Eventually, a pragmatic analysis connected to textual deictics, to the enunciative scene and to textual “flotsams” can be useful to understand the whole text construction and the (dis)concordance between the fictional and the real world. Furthermore, it can show up how the text reorganization is the result of a (re)configuration: the “literary myth” of Don Giovanni.

The article proposes a comparative and text-oriented analysis of Vie de Henry Brulard and Le Rouge et le Noir and it wants to illustrate how elements of the Novel are evoked and recalled in the autobiographical writing by textual occurrences, following three themes: the presence of the father, the language, the erotic aspect. This analysis put under scrutiny how these interconnections between Fiction and Autobiography work, by showing how some autobiographical echoes that were firstly transposed in the Novel are re-elaborated and proposed again in the Autobiography after the contamination with Fiction. Thus, throughout the process of re-elaboration of mnemonic materials, memories could lose their bond with the historic event, which instead bring to the fore revealing signs of Stendhal's personal truth.

Este artigo buscou investigar sobre a percepção de residentes, preceptores e tutores da Residência Multiprofissional em Atenção à Saúde (RMAS) sobre as aprendizagens compartilhadas na formação para o trabalho em equipe de profissionais da saúde. Utilizou-se uma metodologia exploratória, descritivo-analítica, tipo corte transversal com abordagem quantitativa. A pesquisa foi realizada junto à residentes egressos, preceptores e tutores do Programa de RMAS, por intermédio de uma escala atitudinal validada estatisticamente. A média das asserções da escala atitudinal foi de 3,20, classificadas em zona de conforto, no entanto existem pontos de maior e menor concordância entre os respondentes que culminam em pontos importantes de discussão. A RMAS é um espaço de aprendizagens compartilhadas que desenvolve nos profissionais de saúde habilidades para trabalharem em equipe, a partir da educação interprofissional.
