The goal of the paper is to present our experience in organizing speaking activities on Padlet as a part of online French phonetics exercises during the summer semester of 2020/21 at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad. The proposed activities on Padlet (oral presentation on a favorite Francophone song, destination, and film) were primarily aimed at determining possible phonetic-phonological and morpho-phonological students’ mistakes in their oral presentation. The collected audio-corpus was analyzed using the perceptive and descriptive methods, where the teacher, after carefully listening to all the recordings, singled out the most common phonetic-phonological errors, which he/she would then point out to each student individually via electronic correspondence (in the form of a text and, if necessary, audio comments), followed by a unified analysis of the common mistakes and exercises based on the principle of the articulatory method of phonetic correction in synchronous online classes on Zoom. The analysis of the collected audio-corpus and the pedagogical implications of the obtained results are shown on the example of the typology of the most frequently observed mistakes in the production of nasal vowels (/ɑ͂/, /ɛ̃/, /ɔ͂/). Our paper also presents the results of a qualitative research conducted among students on the use of Padlet for the above purposes, in which they spoke positively about this digital tool and gave us useful feedback that will help us in our future work.

У статті описано сервіси Web 2.0, висвітлено особливості їх використання на заняттях з німецької мови. Термін «Web 2.0» вживається для позначення інтерактивних і колаборативних ресурсів мережі інтернет, за допомогою яких користувач не лише пасивно споживає зміст ресурсу, а й виступає безпосереднім постачальником і користувачем інформації. Зокрема, проаналізовано особливості функціонування таких сервісів Web 2.0, як Etherpad, Padlet, Mindmap, Wordle, Podcast, Webquest, Voicethread. Виокремлено найважливіші ознаки цих сервісів: доступність, легкість використання, можливість комунікації та співпраці, у тому числі віддаленої, залучення «колективного розуму», можливість створення і зберігання інформації, візуалізації навчального змісту, створення умов для самоосвіти і саморозвитку учнів і студентів. У статті доводиться, що цілеспрямоване використання ресурсів Web 2.0 цілком відповідає сучасним принципам нейродидактики в аспекті ефективності освітнього процесу, а саме: сприяє підвищенню мотивації та інтенсифікації вивчення іноземної мови; надає заняттю інноваційних характеристик, комунікативно-діяльнісного спрямування, а також креативності, пізнавального та ігрового характеру; оптимізує роботу викладача, сприяє результативній самостійній і груповій роботі учнів і студентів; відповідає принципам «багатоканального навчання»; сприяє усуненню мовних та психологічних бар’єрів; супроводжується позитивними емоціями і показниками навчального успіху, що є передумовами мотивації та ефективної комунікації на заняттях з іноземної мови. Використання ресурсів Web 2.0 також відповідає принципу «learning by doing» («навчання через практичну діяльність»), відповідно до якого наш головний мозок функціонує у такий спосіб, що ми найкраще сприймаємо та запам’ятовуємо той інформаційний матеріал, який самі опрацьовуємо або виробляємо. У статті також розглянуто кооперативні навчальні проекти як засіб підвищення мотивації вивчення іноземної мови. До безперечних переваг таких проектів належать автентична комунікація іноземною мовою, налагодження зв’язків з носіями мовами тих, хто вивчає мову, міжкультурний обмін, цікава та актуальна для молоді тематика, індивідуальне планування часу для виконання завдань.

Humans have to adapt to the rapid change in technology. The oscillation occurs in all existing sectors, including the education sector. For instance, grammar, which was previously avoided, has now started to be noticed by students due to the development of technology. One of the technologies used in education is Padlet. Padlet is an application that is very easy to use and requires no special training. In contrast with most areas of Indonesia, which are already literate with the technology, in Papua, even though many students’ own laptops and smartphones, the teacher used the technology only for administrative purposes, not for supporting student learners. Hence, this research focuses on students' interest in using Padlet in grammar classes. This study was a qualitative research design, and the data was collected using a questionnaire and interview. The questionnaire and interview results showed that students showed a positive interest in learning English grammar using Padlet.

En este artículo se presenta una reflexión teórica y técnica sobre el uso de una herramienta, Padlet, y de sus implicaciones para el desarrollo de la competencia digital, la motivación y la exposición a la lengua meta. Posteriormente y con el fin de proporcionar ejemplos prácticos llevados al aula, para que sean mejorados y replicados, se ofrecen dos casos prácticos que se desarrollaron en dos lugares y dos contextos educativos muy diferentes: Japón e Islandia. Sin embargo, cabe mencionar que ambos están relacionados, dado que el uso de Padlet como herramienta didáctica para generar un espacio que promoviese interacción y comunicación en la lengua meta en el caso japonés, sirvió de precedente y ejemplo para replicar la utilización de esta aplicación en el contexto islandés.
