Wolfrom-transmission are well known planetary transmission with low number of gears and used for very high transmission - ratio for example : i=100 or more. With the book of Mueller “Die Umlaufgetriebe” they are a type of reduced planetary transmission containing two simple transmission one a minus-type and one a plus-type for the two transmission inside. With a common carrier for both transmission and only one sun and two inner gears it is very compact but known for bad efficiency. Firms who produces such transmission are talking about a lot of problems, but no details are published so long. The Author will show that a calculation with low-loss-gears will improve the efficiency very much and that we can produce this type without a carrier. The forces which are active at the planet should be go direct to the housing and not about bearings in a carrier. Details and a modelling of such type will be presented in the conference.

We retrospectively studied the prevalence of anti HIV 1 and 2, anti-HTLV1, anti-Hepatitis B and C viruses (HBV and HCV) antibodies, anti-HBV vaccinal coverage, transfused patients and alloimmunizations frequencies among adult sickle cell patients attending the sickle cell center (SCC) of Guadeloupe. The data were collected from the medical files of the centre. Among the studied samples (n = 331) no transfusal HIV contamination was observed. All patients with HTLV1 (n = 11, 3.3% of whole sample) and anti-HCV (n = 9, 2.7%) positive serology had transfusion history. Five patients (1.5%) had an active hepatitis B. Vaccination against HBV efficiently protected 247 patients (74.4%) and 57 had post-hepatitis B antibodies. We observed that 213 patients (64%) had a history of transfusion (88% of SS patients and 36% of the SC patients, p < 0.05). Fifty-four patients (16%) presented alloimmunization, 4 of them have never been transfused. These results show that it is still necessary to optimise transfusion protocol and their safety, and to diagnose viral contamination in transfused sickle cell patients. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: Introduction: A significant peripheral blood plasmacytosis is a rare finding associated with viral infections. We reported five consecutive cases of dengue virus infection, with circulating plasma cells. Case reports: Three women and two men, aged 26 to 75 years, had returned from French West Indies less than one week before the onset of the symptoms (mean: 2.5 days). The transient blood plasmacytosis was variable in intensity (0.1 to 0.8 G/L) with a maximal level between the fourth and the seventh day following the onset of the symptoms, and was associated in four patients, with activated lymphocytes and lympho-plasma cells. Conclusion: Reactive plasmacytosis during dengue fever is common and probably underestimated because it is transient and only identified by careful microscopic examination of a blood smear. Plasmacytosis could be explained by the intensity of the immunological response and the production of large amount of interleukins. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
