هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على فاعلية برنامج إرشادي انتقائي تكاملي في تنمية التفكير الإيجابي لدى طالبات المرحلة الثانوية بمركز الخبراء في القصيم، والتحقق من استمرار أثر هذا البرنامج الإرشادي بعد الانتهاء من تطبيقه على عينة الدراسة. استخدمت الباحثتان المنهج شبه التجريبي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (26) طالبة من طالبات المرحلة الثانوية بالمدرسة الأولى في مركز الخبراء تم تعيينهن بشكل عشوائي إلى مجموعتين: مجموعة تجريبية ومجموعة ضابطة، وتكونت كل مجموعة من (13) طالبة، واستخدمت الباحثتان أداتين من إعدادهما: مقياس التفكير الإيجابي، والبرنامج الإرشادي الانتقائي التكاملي لتنمية التفكير الإيجابي، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسطي درجات المجموعة التجريبية على مقياس التفكير الإيجابي في القياسين القبلي والبعدي لصالح القياس البعدي، ووجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسطي درجات المجموعة الضابطة والمجموعة التجريبية على مقياس التفكير الإيجابي في القياس البعدي لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا بين متوسطي درجات المجموعة التجريبية على مقياس التفكير الإيجابي في القياسين البعدي والتتبعي.

This work focuses on the compact design of a self-standing electric scooter, specifically engineered to require minimal parking space. The paper details the design and modelling of an innovative electric scooter that possesses the unique ability to stand on its own, utilizing a footprint smaller than that of a typical umbrella stand when parked. Employing a minimalist design approach, the scooter achieves an aesthetically appealing, simple, and futuristic appearance. The primary objective of this project is to propose a practical and compact electric scooter design by utilizing CATIA V5 software for modelling and ANSYS for required calculations and SolidWorks for visualization,A design that not only enhances efficiency for short-distance travels but also effectively mitigates issues related to traffic congestion and limited parking space.

Introduction: les arthrites réactionnelles (ARé) ont un caractère exceptionnel en Afrique sub saharienne. Ainsi l’objectif de notre étude était de décrire les caractéristiques cliniques et étiologiques des ARé en milieu hospitalier sénégalais. Matériels et méthodes: il s’agissait d’une étude rétrospective réalisée dans le service de rhumatologie du CHU Aristide Le Dantec de Dakar entre janvier 2012 et septembre 2016. Le diagnostic d’ARé était retenu sur la confrontation d’arguments cliniques, biologiques, en accord avec les critères de classification d’Amor, et de l’ASAS. Résultats: vingt-huit observations d’arthrites réactionnelles avaient été colligées chez les patients d’âge moyen de 44 ans (extrêmes 20 et 64 ans), 19 cas (67,9%) étaient des femmes. Les symptômes urogénitaux étaient présents dans 18 cas (64,28%). L’intervalle moyen entre l’infection et l’apparition des symptômes articulaires était de 20 jours. L’agent causal était la chlamydia trachomatis chez 19 (67,9 %) des patients. Le traitement était basé sur les antiinflammatoires non stéroïdiens (AINS) 19 cas (68 %) et l’antibiothérapie chez 15 (53, 57%) Conclusion: les ARé sont étonnamment rares en Afrique subsaharienne malgré la fréquence des germes responsables. C’est pourquoi les praticiens doivent intégrer cette pathologie dans les diagnostics différentiels des infections bactériennes capables de causer une arthrite réactionnelle et la rechercher de manière plus systématique

Introduction: l’objectif de notre étude était de décrire les caractéristiques de la polyarthrite rhumatoïde (PR) du sujet âgé au service de rhumatologie CHU Ignace Deen de Conakry, Guinée. Matériels et méthodes: il s’agissait d’une étude rétrospective réalisée dans le service de rhumatologie du CHU Ignace Déen (Guinée) entre novembre 2016 et novembre 2018. Le diagnostic de PR était retenu en accord avec les critères de l’ACR/EULAR 2010. Résultats: durant la période d’étude, nous avons colligé 13 observations de polyarthrite rhumatoïde chez le sujet âgé, soit 15 ,8% de l’ensemble des polyarthrites rhumatoïdes (n=82). L’âge moyen de ces patients était de 69 ± 5 ans (extrêmes 66 et 80 ans). Le nombre moyen d’articulation douloureux et gonflé étaient respectivement de 8 (extrêmes 4 et 22) et 3 (extrêmes 0 et 8) associée à une fièvre et une altération de l’état générale dans 4 cas (30%). Le début était rhizomélique dans 10 cas (77 %). Le bilan biologique montrait un syndrome inflammatoire dans tous les cas, les facteurs rhumatoïdes étaient positifs dans 10/13 cas et les anti-CCP dans 11/13 cas. Le traitement était basé sur le méthotrexate dans 11 cas. Le HAQ (Health Assessment Questionnaire) moyen était de 27/60 et le DAS-28 CRP moyen était 4. Conclusion: la PR est une maladie fréquente chez le sujet âgé. Sa présentation clinique est différente, son pronostic n’est pas meilleur et les objectifs thérapeutiques sont les mêmes que chez le sujet jeune.

Objectif: Décrire les caractéristiques épidémiologiques et les modalités de prise en charge préventive des patients. Résultats : Cent cinquante-deux (152) patients ont consulté suite à une exposition au risque d'infection rabique principalement à la suite d'une morsure par un chien (133cas/152). Aucun animal mordeur n'a été mis en observation. La majorité (90%) provenait de Dakar. L'âge médian était de 22 ans [1 - 90 ans] et les hommes étaient les plus touchés avec un sex ratio (H/F) de 1,8. Les blessures de catégorie II étaient les plus fréquentes (100 cas). Près de deux tiers des personnes exposées ont été prises en charge dans les 48 heures. La quasi-totalité des patients avaient bénéficié du protocole Zagreb mais environ 41% d'entre eux avaient abandonné leur prophylaxie post exposition (PPE) en cours de suivi, soit un taux de complétude de 59%. Conclusion : Composante essentielle de la lutte contre la rage, la prophylaxie post exposition doit être améliorée par la sensibilisation et la collaboration avec les services vétérinaires. Tout ceci dans l'esprit du one health ou santé unique ainsi que l'amélioration de l'accessibilité financière des vaccins et des immunoglobulines antirabiques

Introduction : l'abcès prostatique est une pathologie de plus en plus rare. Sa symptomatologie n'est pas spécifique. L'échographie endorectale et le scanner pelvien occupent une place de choix dans le diagnostic. Le traitement repose sur l'antibiothérapie adaptée et sur le drainage percutané par voie transpérinéale, transrectale ou endoscopique. Observation : nous rapportons deux cas d'abcès de prostate, l'un des patients est âgé de 47 ans et l'autre 61 ans. Dans les deux cas, le diagnostic a été de découverte fortuite en per opératoire. Le scanner abdominopelvien a posé le diagnostic de kyste de prostate chez l'un et une hypertrophie bénigne de la prostate chez l'autre par une échographie réno-vésico-prostatique. Le traitement a consisté en un drainage par chirurgie ouverte avec une antibiothérapie adaptée. L'évolution a été favorable dans les deux cas. Conclusion : l'abcès prostatique est une pathologie rare et sa symptomatologie clinique n'est pas spécifique. Dans notre cas, le diagnostic n'a pu être confirmé qu'en peropératoire et le traitement par chirurgie ouverte avec un bon résultat.

En Mauritanie, comme dans de nombreux pays africains, le paludisme reste la première cause d’hospitalisation en pratique pédiatrique courante. Objectif : Analyser les aspects épidémiologiques, cliniques, évolutifs et les facteurs de mauvais pronostic liés au paludisme grave des enfants hospitalisés dans le service de pédiatrie du centre hospitalier régional d’Aïoun. Patients et méthodes : Il s’agissait d’une étude rétrospective portant sur les dossiers des enfants hospitalisés dans le service de pédiatrie du centre hospitalier régional d’Aïoun du 1er janvier au 31 décembre 2013. Résultats : Au total, 64 enfants étaient hospitalisés pour un paludisme grave (46,3%). Le sex ratio était de 2,07 en faveur des garçons. La tranche d’âge 6 mois – 5 ans était la plus touchée (60,9%). L’automédication était retrouvée dans 29,7% des cas. Les formes neurologiques (60,9%) et les formes anémiques (42,2%) représentaient les premières manifestations cliniques. La létalité globale était de 12,5%. Les facteurs de mauvais pronostic étaient : l’âge, inférieur à cinq ans et l’existence de crises convulsives, d’un coma, d’un syndrome de détresse respiratoire ou de la prostration. Conclusion : L’amélioration du pronostic du paludisme grave repose sur une amélioration d’équipement de salle de réanimation, mais aussi sur un diagnostic et une prise en charge thérapeutique précoces et adéquates.

Rising concern for health and environmental issues associated with the rigorous use of chemical fertilizers has necessitated an alternate form of agriculture in Kerala, and that's how organic production came into existence. The organic agricultural production technique is considered to be quite conflicting with conventional production technique where the use of human-made fertilizers like pesticides, weedicides and insecticides are entirely banned. Organic products are perceived to be minimally processed to maintain the integrity of the food without artificial ingredients and preservatives. Therefore right from mid-eighties, consumers, particularly from the developed countries, started switching over towards organically produced food products as they more nutritious, healthy, and nature-friendly. Considering the organic market in Kerala, the state is still at its infant stage with a market share of less than 1%. Hence it is critical to investigate Kerala consumers low consumption level towards environmentally friendly products. The current research intents to explore the factors influencing Kerala consumers’ organic purchase behaviour based on data collected from 200 respondents (100 regular and 100 irregular organic users) using a structured questionnaire. Analysis techniques comprising of correlation and multiple linear regression has been applied for data evaluation. The research findings support the formulated hypothesis and aim at providing necessary guidelines for various stakeholders who are involved in the organic industry.

The economic roles of the Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) are one of the key mysteries of the economic theories. At the beginning of the 1760s a sustained and rapid growth in per capita income occurred all over the word and since then the broad history of economic institutions has still quite important. This research paper relies on the conceptual framework of IPRs. However, the academic literature has claimed that the presences of these institutions are essential elements of a well-functioning economy, but intellectual property has come to mean not only the right to own and sell, but also the right to regulate its use. Moreover several unexploited dilemmas have still remained in practice. In order to support the theoretical insights we inspect to overview the trademarks growth tendencies in various OECD countries. In this perspective we followed a specific taxonomy of the traditional Nice Classes (NCL) to identify the distribution and the growth changes of these property right applications in a specific sectoral approach. Besides determining the differences with some comparative statistics in the branches, we could also demonstrate the economic importance of trademark applicants that place on the protection of brands in the service-oriented industries. However, there was falls in due to the last economic crisis; it seemed to follow a persistent and substantial growth path again. In this sense, we could also suggest the better valorization of IPRs that must be considered in a context to facilitate SMEs’ access to the benefits of globalised markets in these industries.

This study is aimed to describe the elementary school teachers’ work discipline at the UPTD Education in Banyumanik, Semarang City. The study involved 162 elementary school teachers. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire consisting of 30 statement items, and 5 indicators of work discipline for elementary school teachers. The findings showed that each indicator of discipline of time was very good (90.8), discipline of work was good (90.1), discipline in work atmosphere was very good (91.4), discipline in serving community was good (88,9), discipline of attitude and behavior was sufficient (75). Overall, the work discipline of elementary school teachers was good (87). These findings indicated that the elementary school teachers at the UPTD education in Banyumanik, Semarang City worked in well-discipline.

This work deals with circular economy and sustainability. It investigates the use of recycled Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) powder as a substitute for conventional PVC resin in the expanded layer of floorcoverings without negative effects on their mechanical properties.The first challenge is to transform PVC-coated fabric waste into PVC powder completely separated from PET fibers, while simultaneously ensuring the optimal recovery of small PVC particles. Then, a comprehensive investigation focused on understanding the behavior and characteristics of recycled PVC powders. Ultimately, this research delves into the impact of varying PVC recycled content and particle sizes on the mechanical characteristics (Break Strength, Elongation at Rupture, and Tear Resistance) of the expanded PVC layer utilized in floorcovering applications. The results showed that incorporating up to 25 g (33.34% of the total PVC resin quantity) of recycled PVC demonstrated favorable mechanical performance. However, higher quantities lead to a substantial deterioration in the material’s mechanical properties, primarily due to the emergence of structural defects. To refine the amount of recycled PVC used specifically for this floorcovering application, an in-depth analysis was conducted by meticulously adjusting the particle size distribution (PSD) through a sequence of three distinct sieving processes. By achieving a PSD of recycled PVC containing particles smaller than $200~\mu \mathrm{m}$, expanded layers of satisfactory quality can be produced using up to 86.67% recycled PVC in relation to the total PVC resin quantity.

This study aims to highlight a mechanical recycling process specifically tailored for PVC-coated fabric waste. While ample information exists on the recycling of pure PVC, a noticeable lack of information regarding PVC-coated fabrics has been identified in the literature.Therefore, the primary challenge lies in accomplishing a thorough separation between PET fibers and PVC powder while simultaneously ensuring the optimal recovery of small PVC particles. This separation is crucial for maintaining the quality and purity of the resulting materials.The effectiveness and efficiency of this process were evaluated through a comprehensive analysis that incorporated qualitative and quantitative studies.For the qualitative study, an optical microscope was utilized to provide a rapid and non-destructive approach for evaluating the overall properties of the samples. This method provided valuable insights into the shapes, interactions, and cohesive bonds among the different components. In contrast, the quantitative study involved a chemical method that resulted in a destructive process. Using this technique, precise values were obtained, including the exact percentage of each constituent.By integrating the findings from both qualitative and quantitative studies, informed decisions can be made regarding the selection and profitability of the method for achieving a complete separation between PVC powder and PET fibers.The results obtained demonstrated a successful recovery rate of 83.92% for PVC compared with the initial amount. The remaining 16.07% of PVC was found to be either entangled with PET fibers or lost during the grinding process, particularly in the pulverizer machines.

The rapid sand casting of sand moulds has gained significant attention in the foundry industry. However, existing technologies for this process are still quite expensive, and financial assessments are required to justify the adoption of this process in foundries. To that end, a paper was previously published on the financial feasibility of the Voxeljet VX1000 system using the payback period method. This study takes the analysis one step further by considering the time value of money by using a discounted payback period method. The accuracy of the two methods as a means of providing accurate results is compared to guide local foundry men in adopting this process in the local foundry industry.

The Upper Oum Er-Rbia Basin (UOERB) has been facing significant land use/land cover change and urban sprawl dynamics in recent years, in addition to significant climatic variability leading to disruption of precipitation intensity and quantity. Our approach is to identify the morphometric characteristics of the study region and monitor changes in land use and land cover by analyzing Landsat images. These factors form the input parameters for the HEC-HMS (Hydrologic Engineering Center - Hydrologic Modeling System) hydrological model for simulating daily historical hydro-climatic events. The classification of Landsat images shows that the Upper Oum Er-Rbia Basin has experienced significant landuse dynamics over the past 30 years, resulting in disrupted rainfall and recurrent flooding events. Overall, the hydrological simulation shows good agreement between observed and simulated flow hydrographs, with Nash criteria between 0.6 and 0.8. This knowledge enables us to better estimate the return flows in the catchment area, and to take appropriate action in terms of hydraulic management and development in the Upper Oum Er-Rbia Basin.

This study explores the possibility of using coal as reinforcement in dissimilar welded joints. The study involved joints of AA5083 and AA6082 alloys, which underwent friction stir welding (FSW), friction stir processing (FSP), and FSP with added coal powder (FSP+Coal). Microstructure analysis, microhardness testing, tensile tests, and fracture surface analysis were evaluated. The results indicated that FSP+Coal joints exhibited promising mechanical properties, with failure initiation at 130 MPa and a tensile strain of 6%, and complete failure at an ultimate tensile stress (UTS) of 144 MPa and a tensile strain of 9.5%. In comparison, FSP joints showed failure initiation at 130 MPa and a strain of 8.5%, and complete failure at 90 MPa and a strain of 14%. Additionally, FSP+Coal joints demonstrated a higher average hardness (8.3% higher than FSW joints and 4% higher than FSP joints), supported by fracture surface and microstructural analyses indicating a finer grain size of 13.15 μm in FSP+Coal joints, compared to 12.79 μm in FSP joints and 39.74 μm in FSW joints.
