Introduction: Teaching of therapeutic patient education (TPE) in initial training (IT) is developing without any guidelines defining good practices. The starting point of such a work of recommendations is the study of the recent situation. This study describes FI training practices. Method: A scoping review was conducted from January to May 2019 on 4 databases (Pubmed, ERIC, Cinahl and Psycinfo). Results were categorized and supplemented with the viewpoints of TPE actors solicited during the 7th Congress of the European Therapeutic Education Society (SETE) in May 2019. Results: Twenty-four articles were selected and 40 TPE actors were questioned. Results show an important heterogeneity of learning objectives and contents, often reduced to a few contributory elements of an educational approach. Active learning methods are most often mobilized, particularly role-playing. Some training courses supplement teaching with internship. Evaluation focuses mainly on satisfaction and skills acquired by the students but does not explore the transfer capacities of the students. Discussion: Results indicate the need to define learning trajectories in the field of IT TPE. Recommendations are needed to stabilize the core foundations of this curriculum. This work should be based on broad consultation with experts in TPE and its teaching. In view of the lack of evidence, a consensus research method is to be preferred. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introduction: The use of the arts as a method of changing behaviour in care is topical. This systematic literature review aims to understand the effects of theatrical interventions on health behaviour change. Methods: The research strategy consisted of indexing articles on theatrical interventions for chronic diseases in seven bibliographic databases (Medline, Cochrane, Cairn, Eric, Eric, Isidore, Base santé Psy and CINAHL) using a combination of keywords. The quality of the articles included was assessed through the double expertise, and a self-assessment of the systematic review was carried out in accordance with the principles described in the AMSTAR 2 grid. Results: 619 articles were identified from all databases, 23 of which were selected. These were intervention studies published in English between 1988 and 2017 on chronic diseases. Qualitative results reveal that the use of theatre generates positive effects on improvement: knowledge, skills, caregiver-patient-family interaction, recall, self-awareness, quality of life and social deficits. Conclusion: Theatre remains a promising strategy for therapeutic patient education and can be encouraged to promote behaviour change. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Description. But. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Aim: To identify the predictive factors for the publication of theses defended at the Faculty of Medicine of Sousse (FMSO) in Tunisia., Methods: The development of the dissertation was studied following the interrogation of three databases "Medline", "Scopus" and "article @INIST" as well as "Scholar Google". The drafting quality of the thesis summary was assessed using a grid of 20 iso-weighted items. The predictors of publication were studied by binary logistic regression, with a significance level of 10%., Results: Out of the 670 theses defended at the FMSO, the mention "proposal for the thesis prize" was awarded for 22% of the thesis students. These theses were of the "clinical" type in 68% of cases, 80% of which were in "case study" format. The writing quality was deemed satisfactory in 47% of the theses. The publication rate was only 10.3%. The univariate analysis found three factors determining the publication of theses: the field of non-clinical research: epidemiological or fundamental, good editorial quality and the mention "proposal for the thesis prize". After adjustment, the latter was the only independent predictor of the publication of the thesis (ORa=1.60[1.007-2.559])., Conclusion: This low rate of publication of theses at the FMSO illustrates the difficulties of thesis students and their directors in research methodology and scientific writing. Theses accepted with distinction must be better accompanied to facilitate their publication.

This systematic review aims to compare conventional corticotomy with minimally-invasive protocols (MIP). Electronic database, in MEDLINE and CENTRAL, and hand search were performed. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and randomized split-mouth designed studies (RSMSs) were selected for inclusion, reporting either the use of a corticotomy procedure or a MIP. The main outcomes were the rate/velocity of tooth movement, type of tooth movement observed, loss of anchorage, periodontal indexes, inflammatory mediators, root resorption, patient's pain experience, impact on the quality of life, and satisfaction. Twenty-two papers were included for the qualitative synthesis, from which ten RCTs and twelve RSMSs. Eighteen of them compared a conventional orthodontic treatment without and with a surgical adjunctive procedure, two with conventional corticotomy and sixteen with a MIP (piezocision, micro-osteoperforations (MOPs) or interseptal bone reduction). Four trials compared a surgical procedure to another one. Corticotomy, piezocision and MOPs are likely to accelerate tooth movement, in decreasing order. Pain is reported to be higher in experimental groups only on the first day after surgery. Patient satisfaction is high after surgical procedures. Loss of anchorage, periodontal indexes, or root resorption occurrence show no differences between groups. Corticotomy stands as the gold-standard procedure for surgically-assisted orthodontics, but piezocision appears as a good compromise solution as well as MOPs, in a lesser extent. MIP are known to accelerate tooth movement only during the first three months.

International audience; Autistic subjects frequently display sensory anomalies. Those regarding nociception and its potential outcome, pain, are of crucial interest. Indeed, because of numerous comorbidities, autistic subjects are more often exposed to painful situation. Despite being often considered as less sensitive, experimental studies evaluating this point are failing to reach consensus. Using animal model can help reduce variability and bring, regarding autism, an overview of potential alterations of the nociceptive system at the cellular and molecular level.; Les sujets autistes présentent fréquemment des anomalies sensorielles.
