Low carbon is a key driver for the future development of power systems. This paper proposes a carbon-energy synergetic approach for economic dispatch in energy power systems. Firstly, by integrating multi-energy conversion models and carbon emission flow theories, a coupled interactive mechanism model is constructed. Building upon this foundation, an economic optimization dispatch model for comprehensive energy power systems is introduced, leveraging the synergistic value of carbon energy. This method supports economic dispatch in comprehensive energy power systems, considering both security and economic requirements while reducing carbon emissions. This integrated approach offers a promising solution for achieving low-carbon operational objectives and supporting the transition to sustainable energy infrastructure. Typical case studies in this paper validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In view of China's "carbon peak, carbon neutral" strategy, especially the important point of reaching the carbon peak by 2035 and achieving socialist modernisation, it is important to select a number of priority end-use energy consumption technology topics to promote the company's technological innovation. Based on the results of the two rounds of the Delphi survey, eight end-use energy consumption technologies with a "dual carbon" focus should be prioritised, namely: virtual power plant technology, electric vehicle technology, impact assessment and costing of carbon emissions and reduction, and carbon dioxide capture and storage technology. The results of the Delphi survey show that R&D investment, policy mechanisms and market viability are the main constraints to the completion of these technologies. In response to these constraints, relevant recommendations are made in terms of funding input, institutional development and market development.

Clay has wide application in engineered barriers. However, it is prone to crack if moisture content decreases at most circumstances. This research aimed to microscopically study drying shrinkage and associated cracking of two different clays: kaolin and sodium-based bentonite, using optical microscope-Leica DM2700 M, under controlled condition. The samples used were cylindrical with 20mm in diameter and 1mm in depth. During the observation, microscopic images were captured and saved. These images were used to analyse the cracking behaviour due to drying. The testing results showed that cracks initially occur in the middle of the sample and then propagate to the sample boundary. The length and width of the crack was increased as moisture decreased.

Fan filter units (FFUs) are crucial to maintaining the cleanliness of cleanrooms. Traditionally, the air volume of FFU is not adjusted and maintained at a rated value, resulting in a huge amount of energy. Previous research proved that controlling FFUs based on personnel position was effective in cleanrooms with the non-uniform environment, and could further reduce the air volumes. However, the control strategy for moving personnel has not been given. In this study, moving personnel is numerically simulated in a typical cleanroom. A control strategy is proposed that only the 4 FFUs above the personnel operate at high velocity and still operate at high velocity for 10 seconds after the personnel leaves. The results show that the control strategy can guarantee satisfactory cleanliness, and the air volume of the proposed strategy can be reduced by 53.6% and 18.7% compared with the uniform velocity strategies at designed velocity and decreased velocity, respectively. Since fewer and fewer personnel are in the cleanroom, the study will conduce to tremendous energy reductions of FFUs, which may have promising application potential in cleanrooms

It is the key and difficult point to ensure the safety of tunnel construction by ventilation in high gas tunnel construction in high altitude and cold area. Taking ning-chan high gas tunnel as the research object, the ventilation of the tunnel is calculated, the ventilation parameters are optimized, the ventilation equipment is selected according to the calculation results, the location of the ventilation equipment is optimized, and the reasonable construction ventilation scheme is determined. The results show that through the design of the above ventilation scheme and the control of the site, it can not only ensure the ventilation demand of the super long and high gas tunnel construction in the high cold and high altitude area, but also ensure the tunnel construction in winter, and effectively save the construction ventilation cost.

In this study, the Ti-8Mo-6Ni alloys are subjected to add various amounts of NbC carbides as a strengthening phase after the sintering process. Meanwhile, the composite materials underwent a vacuum sintering process at different temperatures of 1175°C, 1225°C and 1275°C for 1 h, respectively. To evaluate the microstructure, mechanical properties and corrosion behaviors of the Ti-8Mo-6Ni alloys adding NbC via the vacuum sintering processes, tests on the relative density, hardness, transverse rupture strength (TRS), corrosion and microstructure inspections are performed using XRD and SEM, with the aim of improving the microstructure and properties of sintered Ti-8Mo-6Ni alloys. The experimental results showed that when 1 wt% of NbC carbides is added to the Ti-8Mo-6Ni alloys they possessed the optimal properties after sintering at 1275°C for 1 h. The sintering density increased to about 99.7%, the hardness is enhanced to 48.1 HRC and the TRS increased to 976 MPa. Meanwhile, the sintered composite materials possessed good corrosion resistance.

In this paper, we propose a robust and effective framework to largely improve the performance of human action recognition using depth maps. The key contribution is the proposition of the Sub-action Motion History Image (SMHI) and Static History Image (SHI) in a depth sequence. We evenly subdivide the normalized motion energy into a set of segments which corresponding frame indices are used to partition a video into different sub-actions segments. The Local Binary Patterns (LBP) descriptor is then computed from the SMHI and SHI for the representation of an action. We evaluate the proposed framework on MSR Action3D dataset. Experimental results indicate that the proposed approach outperforms the most of the art methods and demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approaches.
