Language teaching in the smart education environment pays more attention to the personalised needs of learners, and adaptive learning systems can provide technical support to meet students’ learning needs and realise personalised learning. Based on the principle of teaching according to the student’s ability, this paper conducts research on adaptive learning systems, describes the construction ideas and practical application methods of the four panel models (i.e., domain model, learner model, cognitive diagnosis, and adaptive model) in adaptive learning systems in language teaching, and puts forward relevant suggestions on language teaching strategies against the background of the current language teaching and educational needs.

Converting carbon dioxide (CO2) into useful chemicals through electrochemical reduction reactions (CO2R) has received growing interest because it can be used to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and generate valuable chemical products. This report discusses the CO2 electrochemical reduction for carbon recycling and the production of valuable chemicals and fuels. It provides an overview of CO2 reduction reaction and a diverse of different CO2 conversion pathway. This research focuses on the mechanisms and catalytic materials used in CO2 electrocatalysis, with a specific emphasis on copper as a unique catalyst. It also highlights the factors that influence CO2 reduction, such as pH, presence of ions, temperature, pressure, electrode fouling, and catalyst deactivation. Furthermore, the economic and environmental aspects of CO2 reduction are explored, including the potential market prices and the positive environmental impacts. The report concludes by addressing the challenges and difficulties faced in electrocatalytic CO2 reduction, such as high activation energy, competing reactions, catalyst poisoning, and low current density. Overall, electrochemical CO2 reduction holds significant potential for sustainable and eco-friendly chemical production.

The conversion rate is important measurable data as a metric of the effectiveness of advertising. The higher the conversion rate is, the more people who saw the advertising would take action. Many factors could affect the advertising conversion rate. In this paper, we aimed to find whether the format (video and poster) of advertising presentations impacts the advertising conversion rates among college students. The researcher designed an online survey that was distributed to college students, and respondents were asked to evaluate eight products’ ads with both video and poster types. In addition we investigated five potential factors, including the level of impact social media has on advertising, gender, preferences of activities, time spent on different advertising channels, and time from viewing the ads before buying products, that would influence people’s conversion rates. As the world’s aging process accelerates, the issue of elderly safety is about to become a serious social problem. The elderly are prone to falls due to physiological reasons such as decreased physical function, weakened balance and coordination ability, and poor vision. The study of fall prediction models can predict the impending fall behavior in time before the fall, and have enough time to remind the elderly to adjust or take corresponding protective measures. Reduce the damage caused by falls to the human body, reduce the medical expenses caused by falls, and enhance the confidence of the elderly to live independently. This article gives a detailed overview of the research on the wearable device-based fall prediction system, and introduces the entire process of falling. According to the work flow of the wearable device fall detection system, it includes data collection, data preprocessing, feature extraction, and discrimination algorithms. Several aspects of the current research work are introduced, and the existing research results are classified, compared and statistically analyzed to provide meaningful reference and reference for subsequent research work. Finally, a fall prediction model based on an improved ConvLSTM is proposed.

Aiming at the problem that the current low accuracy rate of face detection and target tracking, a reinforcement learning algorithm is proposed, which integrates face detection technology and target tracking technology organically, adopts the face detection algorithm based on Multi-Task Convolutional Neural Network (MTCNN) and target tracking algorithm based on Kalman filtering, so as to realize face detection, multiplayer face recognition and dynamic tracking of personnel movement. In this paper, the configuration environment is Anaconda, the operating platform is PyCharm, the video-based face detection and dynamic capture and rapid identification system has been designed and developed. The system consists of two modules: face detection module and target tracking module. The optimized face detection and dynamic capture algorithm improved the detection success rate by about 11.5%, the face detection success rate by about 15.2%, the dynamic capture success rate increased by about 12.0%, and the optimized system has a wider practicality.

In order to effectively alleviate the congestion of power exchange stations, the game theory was used to discuss the spatial characteristics of electric vehicle power exchange demand, analyze the decision making and game process of electric vehicle users specifically. Moreover, on the basis of the research, the specific way of setting the price of the exchange station was proposed and the game mathematical model was constructed.

Influenced by policies, resources and environmental factors, the development of electric vehicles has been in an upsurge in these years. Compared with conventional vehicles, electric buses better meet the needs of environmental protection and contribute more to environmental well-being. The State Grid Liaoning Electric Power Supply Company, to promote the use of electric buses, has built many charging and swapping stations in Dalian, which has significant impact on the application of electric buses. To meet the needs of increasing electric buses, this paper mainly discusses the design schemes of the charging and swapping stations of Youyi Street in Dalian, and finally chooses the scheme of “entering the station for swapping-decentralized charging” through comparison in the design.

Currently, with the rapid development of small towns in China, residents’ heating demand has been increasing, which exposes the heating problems of the small towns. Especially in the heating season, the energy consumption of buildings accounting for a decent proportion and the increase in pollution emissions can seriously affect the lives of residents. To alleviate these problems and promote clean heating, it is necessary to investigate the resources situation of small towns and design targeted heating lines for load areas. Therefore, this article used data analysis, described the population, construction area and industrial structure of small towns in the northern region, summarized the current development trend of small towns in China. Besides, taking the small towns in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as an example, this paper tried to understand the heating problems of small towns, including low energy efficiency of thermal energy and poor thermal insulation of buildings. Based on the supply and demand side of small towns and the differences in the endowment characteristics in various regions, this paper also proposed different clean heating technology paths.

In face of increasingly severe environmental problems, green and low-carbon power supply has become an important trend of current development. At present, the smart grid which will respond to the demand has improved the interaction between current users and the grid. In addition, electric heating and solar power generation and other renewable power generation methods are promoted in north China. Electric heating is a flexible and regulatable load; when it reaches a certain scale, it is bound to become an objective demand response resource in power grid operation, so it is of great practical significance to explore the evaluation of the regulation capacity of electric heating load.

The marine area is the main direction of the development of oil and gas resources in the world. The pipeline transportation technology of natural gas hydrate slurry plays an important role in the exploitation of marine oil and gas and the exploitation of marine gas hydrate resources. In order to study the influence of pipe inclination on pipeline transportation, population balance model based on hydrate particle aggregation dynamics was coupled with the Eulerian–Eulerian two-fluid multiphase flow model to simulate the flow behaviors of hydrate slurry flow in pipes with different inclination angles. In the study, three variables of inclination, flow rate and initial particle size were considered. The results show that tilted pipes are beneficial to hydrate slurry transport rather than harmful. Meanwhile, higher flow rates and lower initial particle sizes are beneficial for promoting the flow safety of hydrate slurry transport. However, the flow pressure drop of the hydrate slurry increases with the increase of the flow rate and the decrease of the initial particle size, which is not conducive to the economics of mining. The research results in this paper can provide reference for the research of hydrate slurry flow safety and parameter guidance for hydrate solid fluidized mining.

With increasingly intense competition among online travel agencies, e-service quality has received widespread attention as a fundamental determinant for OTAs to stand out. This study takes a careful look into the underlying dimensions of e-service quality by using quantitative data collection method. Four core dimensions, namely Interactive Service Quality, Ease of Use, Information Quality, as well as Visual Appeal are identified as a result of factor analysis. In addition, important managerial implications with regard to this finding are discussed.

The process design is a very important step in NC machining which will ensure the manufacturing quality of the part. For the low rigidity part, due to the low rigidity and high deformation under certain load, herein, the low rigidity part often shows more clamping deformation under clamping force and cutting force in manufacturing, so that it will lead to machining error out of tolerance. In this paper, we choose a low rigidity shell part as research target, the machining process will be designed and analyzed, two clamping schemes were designed for this part, and the comparison and analysis were finished by using finite element method (FEM), the results showed that the smaller deformation and error was obtained in the axial clamping scheme, therefore, we choose this scheme as the ultimate clamping scheme for the low rigidity shell part.
