Social Sciences - Abstract
This study explores the strategies and methods of translating advertisements from Chinese to English. It adopts a functional approach to translation studies, encompassing the Skopos theory and equivalent translation theory. The translation strategies are divided into semantic, structural, language, and rhetorical levels. At the semantic level, the use of literal translation, liberal translation, and semantic conversion is employed to convey both the literal meaning and intended meaning of the advertisements. At the structural level, supplementary translation, condensed translation, and the division and merging of sentences are utilized to adjust the structure to meet the translation requirements. At the language level, extensive use of adjectives, frequent use of imperative verbs, and personal pronouns are employed to highlight features, prompt actions, and establish connections. At the rhetorical level, the use of puns, simulation, personification and exaggeration is employed to enhance interest, convey messages, and imbue products with human-like qualities. By employing a functional approach and various translation strategies, advertisements can be effectively translated, capturing the interest and resonance of the target audience. However, this study has certain limitations in terms of sample selection and research scope. Future research can further explore additional translation strategies and methods to improve the effectiveness and quality of advertisement translation.

Poultry and livestock farming wastewater is one of the main sources of agricultural non-point source pollution. Using reclaimed poultry and livestock farming wastewater for rice irrigation can not only provide nutrition for rice, but also reduce agricultural water consumption, and also further control non-point source pollution through the self-purification of rice ecosystem. It has been considered to be environmentally friendly and reliable for poultry and livestock farming wastewater treatment. However, the effect of reclaimed water irrigation on rice yield and quality is still unclear. In order to explore the effects of reclaimed water irrigation on rice yield and quality, we conducted a rice reclaimed irrigation experiment in the Erhai lake basin in 2017. The rice yield and quality were compared among different irrigation modes, different irrigation water quality and different fertilization schemes of reclaimed water. The results showed that the yield of W1F2, under intermittent irrigation with reclaimed water, was the highest, reaching 11.7t/hm2. The differences of rice yield and its components between different irrigation and fertilization methods were not significant. The yield and its components of rice under different irrigation and fertilization treatments were not significant. In terms of yield, the intermittent irrigation was 7.6% higher than that of flood irrigation. The amount of fertilizer applied by intermittent irrigation of reclaimed water was 7.0% less than that of clear water, and the yield increased by 3.5%. Correspondingly, the amount of fertilization of flood irrigation of reclaimed water is equivalent to that of clear water, which increases yield by 1.9%. In summary, the effect of reclaimed water irrigation on yield increase is obvious. There were significant differences in brown rice rate and chalky grain rate between different irrigation modes, which showed that the brown rice rate of intermittently irrigated rice was 0.7% smaller than that of flooded rice, and the white grain of intermittently irrigated rice was 45% larger than that of flooded irrigation. Intermittent irrigation has an adverse effect on the processing quality and appearance quality of rice. There were significant differences in brown rice rate, whole milled rice rate, gel consistency and depletion value under different irrigation water quality. The results showed that the brown rice rate and the depletion value of reclaimed water irrigation were smaller than those of clear water, and the whole milled rice rate and gel consistency were larger than that of clear water. Regularity, reclaimed water irrigated rice processing quality and cooking taste quality is better. In terms of nutritional quality of rice, the crude protein content in flooding treatment was 4.2% higher than that in intermittent irrigation, and the irrigation treatment of reclaimed water was 13.8% higher than that in clear water irrigation.

Environmental sciences ,GE1-350 - Abstract
River-riparian interfaces (RRIs) of urban rivers are where river ecosystems interact with the riparian soil ecosystems. However, with the intensification of urbanization, the construction of various revetments changes the energy exchange process between the river and the RRI, affects the soil properties, and then affects the soil bacterial community composition and structure. In this study, natural (NR), permeable (PR), and impervious revetments (IR) of the same river section were selected. The composition and abundance of soil bacterial communities were detected by PCR amplification technology. The Alpha diversity, Beta diversity, community composition, and environmental factor correlations of bacterial communities were analyzed. The results showed: (1) The dominant bacterial genera of NR, IR, and PR were similar, mainly Anaerolineae, Vicinamibacterales, Ardenticatenales, and Rokubacteriales. There were 504 bacterial genera with the same NR, IR, and PR, accounting for NR, IR, and PR bacterial genera 69.52%, 69.33%, and 62.22% of the total, respectively. (2) Due to the material and energy exchange between soil water and river water and the buffering effect of permeable revetment on frequent river water level changes, the bacterial community richness, community diversity, and lineage diversity of PR are higher than those of NR and IR. (3) SOM, pH, oxygen, and soil nutrients are critical environmental factors that affect the composition and abundance of soil bacterial communities at RRI. The research results provide a theoretical basis for further exploring the impact of urban river revetment on the service function of soil ecosystems at RRI.

Environmental sciences ,GE1-350 - Abstract
The freezing and thawing process is a unique feature of the alpine permafrost ecosystem, which controls the growth of microorganisms and alpine meadows, and plays a vital role in animal husbandry development, ecosystem functions and services. Meanwhile, the freezing and thawing process is also affected by external environmental factors, and its spatial differences are very significant, especially in the regions over 5000 m a.s.l. In this study, the freezing and thawing process periods of the Cuoma Township (CM), Xiangmao Township (XM) and Xiaotanggula Mountain (XTGL) sites in the Nagqu River Basin are divided, the effects of altitude, vegetation coverage, air temperature, and organic matter content on the freezing and thawing process are analyzed, the main influencing factors are discussed. The results show that in the regions over 5000 m a.s.l, the thaw initiation period (TIP) starts in early April, the entirely thawed period (ETP) starts in end of May, the freeze initiation period (FIP) starts in end of October, and the entirely frozen period (EFP) starts in early November. Compared with the regions below 5000 m a.s.l, FIP and EFP in the regions over 5000 m a.s.l start earlier, the TIP starts later and the freezing rate is faster. Organic matter content is the main influencing factor during FIP and EFP, and air temperature is the main influencing factor during TIP and ETP. This study is helpful to clarify the changes of freezing and thawing process in the regions over 5000 m a.s.l, and also provides theoretical support for ecological protection and restoration.

Environmental sciences ,GE1-350 - Abstract
Real-time fast calculation of the power flow of the interconnected power grid is an important guarantee for the reliable operation of the interconnected power grid. The topology of the interconnected power grid is complex, and the calculation of the power flow of the whole network is large and timeconsuming. The sensitivity equivalent model can effectively simplify the interconnected power grid and shorten the time of the power flow calculation of the whole network. The operating state of the power grid is constantly changing. In order to ensure the accuracy of the power flow calculation results, it is necessary to update the uniform sensitivity equivalent model in real time. Due to factors such as the vertical management system between the interconnected power grids and the principle of commercial confidentiality, it is difficult to share information between interconnected power grids in real time, and the sensitivity equivalent model cannot be updated in real time, resulting in too much error in the calculation results and no reference value. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an online update method for the sensitivity equivalent model of the interconnected power grid based on power big data to solve the problem of excessive power flow calculation errors caused by the untimely update of the equivalent model parameters, and to ensure the operational reliability of the interconnected power grid.

Since the classical seepage theory has limitations in characterizing the heterogeneity of fractured-vuggy tight reservoirs, well test interpretation results are not consistent with actual production by far. Based on the nonlinear percolation theory, a new nonlinear seepage equation considering the boundary layer and yield stress was derived to describe the seepage characteristics of dense matrix blocks and the stress sensitivity and fractal features of fracture systems were characterized by applying the fractal theory. Thus, the nonlinear model of a horizontal well in a fractured-vuggy tight fractal reservoir was established naturally. Then the finite element method was applied to solve the bottom hole pressure based on the processing of internal boundary conditions. After solving the model, the seepage characteristics of different models were summarized by analyzing the bottom hole pressure dynamic curves and the sensitivity analysis of multiple parameters such the nonlinear parameter and fractal index were conducted. Finally, the practicality of the model was proved through a field application. The results show that the pressure dynamic curves can be divided into nine flow stages and the increase of the nonlinear parameter will cause the intensity of the cross flow from matrix blocks to the fracture system to decrease. The fractal index is irrelevant to the intensity of the cross flow while it decides the upwarping degree of the curve at the middle and late flow stages. On the basis of the results of the field application, it can be concluded that the model fits well with actual production and the application of this model can improve the accuracy of well test interpretation.

Based on 610 Meteorological stations daily precipitation datasets in China and NCEP/NCAR reanalysis datasets and NOAA reconstruct sea surface temperature from 1960~2009, the spatial and temporal coupling relationships between the Pacific SSTA and extreme precipitation events (EPE) are analyzed by using Singular Value of Decomposition method. Moreover, possible effect mechanism of Pacific SSTA for EPE is also discussed, the results are as follows: They are remarkable relations between equator middle-east Pacific ocean (EMEPO) SSTA and EPE. In anomaly cold years of EMEPO, compel 500hPa height field to show reverse PNA teleconnection pattern, intensity of west Pacific ocean subtropical high boost down. Meanwhile North Africa subtropical high become weeker compared with the mean. The trough over East Asia is abnormally weaker, and zonal circulation prevails over Asia, which is useful for the northward motion of southwestern water vapor. Meanwhile, the 500hPa geopotential height become weeker in New Siberian, leading to development and eastward motion of westerly trough. It is useful for the southward motion of stronger cold air, which is beneficial to the interaction between cold and warm air in Huang-Huai Basin, benefit the occurrence of EPE. However, wester china influenced by western vapor transportation, and vapor divergence in these areas, not benefit the occurrence of EPE. The opposite is true with positive SSTA in EMEPO.
