Résumé La traduction en langue chinoise du premier volume du monumental ouvrage scientifique d'Alexander von Humboldt, intitulé «Cosmos», a vu le jour en 2023 sous l՚égide de la prestigieuse maison d՚édition de l՚Université de Pékin. Dans sa postface éclairée, la traductrice émérite, Gao Hong, éclaire la lanterne des lecteurs chinois sur la fresque cosmique esquissée par Humboldt, révélant ainsi les intrications entre les phénomènes naturels et leur pertinence à l՚échelle de l'univers tout entier. Gao Hong narre son propre périple aux côtés de Humboldt, tout en distillant ses réflexions personnelles sur cette fresque cosmique. «Cosmos» d՚Humboldt, œuvre scientifique par excellence, transcende également les sphères esthétiques et artistiques, exprimant invariablement une profonde vénération pour l՚univers. Restituer en chinois la «beauté géométrique» de la langue allemande, empreinte d՚une rigueur structurelle, constitue un défi singulier, le chinois se caractérisant par sa fluidité, sa souplesse et sa poésie imagée, en totale antithèse avec l՚allemand. En qualité de traducteur, il importe de naviguer librement entre ces deux mondes linguistiques distincts. Summary In 2023, the first translation of Alexander von Humboldt՚s work “Kosmos”, Volume I, into Chinese was published by Peking University Press. In the afterword, translated here into German, translator Gao Hong familiarizes Chinese readers with the characteristics of Humboldt՚s “description of the world,” which presents natural phenomena in their interrelationships and their connection with the universe as a whole. Gao Hong describes her own journey in Humboldt՚s footsteps and her fascination with this nature painting, which also meets the highest aesthetic standards and is designed to promote awe towards the cosmos. Transmitting the “geometric beauty” of this language is a particular challenge because the flowing, pictorial structure of Chinese is almost contrary to the strict regulations of German. As a translator you have to move freely between the two worlds. 概要 亚里山大·洪堡的科学巨著《宇宙》第一卷的中文译本于2023年由北京大学出版社出版。在译后记中，译者高虹向中国读者介绍了洪堡笔下的宇宙画卷，这幅画卷展示出自然现象之间的相互关系以及它们与整个宇宙的相关性。高虹讲述了自己追随洪堡的旅程以及她个人对这幅宇宙画卷的欣赏与思考。洪堡的《宇宙》是一部科学著作，但同时也呈现出极高的美学境界与水准，它无处不在表达对宇宙的敬畏。在中文翻译中再现德语语言拥有严谨结构的“几何美”是一个特殊的挑战，因为汉语流畅，灵动，充满意境之美，与德语的特点完全相反。作为译者必须要在两个语言世界之间自由转换。

The purpose of this study is to develop an energy sharing scenario for buildings within the community. This work developed an energy sharing scenario for buildings in a community consisting of several types of buildings. The community are mainly composed of low-rise building, including offices. Six buildings with energy usage measurement equipment installed in the community were selected and the energy use status of the building was measured. The electric energy consumption and electric energy production of buildings were predicted using a simulation program. Electrical energy was produced using photovoltaic panels installed in buildings. Energy consumption patterns of buildings were analysed. There are four scenarios in which the energy produced is shared with each building. The first scenario uses photovoltaic as much power as it generates, and does not use surplus power. The second scenario is to reverse transmission the surplus power to the source. The third scenario is to store surplus power in the ESS and use it for the next day's peak load. The fourth scenario is to collect surplus power into the Community's ESS and share it with the most energy-intensive buildings. After comparing the four developed scenarios, it was found the most efficient and optimal sharing scenario based on buildings in the community. Results can be used as a method for sharing electrical energy produced using photovoltaic system in a small-scale community.

In recent years, electrolytic water has become the mainstream method of producing hydrogen energy, in which the development of efficient electrocatalysts is particularly important. Herein, MoP@C was synthesized by simple hydrothermal following one-step calcination process. MoP@C shows excellent catalytic activity in acidic environment, requiring only a small overpotential (196 mV) at the current density of 10 mA cm-2 and exhibiting a small Tafel slope (91 mV dec-1). Meanwhile, MoP@C displays good stability within 24 hours. This work has a positive effect for the subsequent large-scale preparation of phosphides electrocatalysts.

Miscommunication in the cockpit or between pilots and air traffic controllers (ATCs) could be fatal when they use English, the de facto language for international civil aviation. To ensure air safety, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has set up English proficiency requirements in Document 9835, calling for adherence to standardized terminology in aeronautic communication. For this reason, terminological competence proves a crucial challenge to non-native speakers of English and merits study from a variety of perspectives. Drawing from relevant work, the current study reports on a translational approach to developing terminological competence for student pilots attending a terminology course tailored to ICAO standards. By extracting subtitles from Mayday, a documentary series on air crashes, near-crashes, and crises, we built a specialized bilingual parallel corpus on aviation and analyzed terminological data against the inventory of events, domains, and sub-domains specified in Document 9835. Through the identification, elaboration, translation, and management of specialized terms, we explore the terminological competence development, and through follow-up interviews we identify the features of this course in shaping student pilots into domain experts qualified for aeronautic communication.

With the appearance of the word “haze” in China, PM2.5 (particulate matter with aerodynamic diameter less than 2.5 μm) that can enter occupants' lungs has become a public topic of discussion. Today, the indoor PM2.5 or fine particulate concentration has become one of important factors affecting indoor air quality (IAQ). How to properly monitor indoor PM2.5 is an urgent issue to be discussed and solved. At present, sampling is adopted to know PM2.5 concentration in a room, and Chinese related standard required the sampling time for indoor PM2.5 is at least 8 hours. However, the sampling method takes too much time, and the HVAC system cannot react in real time such as increasing the fresh air volume with increase of indoor PM2.5 concentration. So, there is a great need to find an optimal location for continuous PM2.5 monitoring. Before finding the monitoring point, the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of indoor PM2.5 concentration are needed to be known. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) can be used to simulate airflow and dispersion of PM2.5 in rooms with different scales, functions and ventilations. This paper will contribute to find the optimal location which could preferably describe indoor PM2.5 concentration in an office combined with experimental research and CFD simulation. In short, the aim of the paper is to reveal the spatial-temporal characteristics of indoor PM2.5 concentration distribution and optimize the layout of PM2.5 monitoring points for air conditioning systems to better control indoor contaminate PM2.5 concentration.
