Il aura fallu plus de dix ans à Mark Z. Danielewski pour publier la version finale de son roman House of Leaves. Dix ans de réflexion, de recherche, de remise en question, d’écriture et de réécriture… Très vite devenu un best-seller international, House of Leaves fait sensation dans le domaine littéraire, suscitant à la fois émerveillement, inquiétude et réflexion. Alors que le roman met en scène un récit relativement simple et déjà exploité à maintes reprises en littérature - à savoir l’histoire d’une famille américaine emménageant dans une maison cauchemardesque aux proportions variables - il surprend de par sa forme et son contenu. Multiplicité de typographies, notes de bas de pages infinies, textes sens dessus dessous, pages blanches suivies de passages chaotiques et illisibles, mots en couleurs ou rayés, pluralité de langues et langages, photographies, dessins, maquettes, etc. : Danielewski transcende totalement les lois de la littérature dans son ensemble. Véritable oeuvre d’art, unique en son genre, House of Leaves se distingue de par sa présentation innovante et son originalité excessive. Dans le cadre de ce mémoire, j’étudie trois aspects principaux de l’oeuvre : la structure architecturale du livre, l’intertextualité et l’intermédialité présentes dans le texte et la notion des genres. Tout d’abord, je m’intéresse à la structure externe et interne du roman et je cherche à comprendre pourquoi Danielewski déconstruit totalement les règles architecturales et leurs limites. De plus, j’analyse le lien entre l’évolution de la maison de la Famille Navidson et la psychologie des personnages. Ensuite, j’étudie le rôle des mythes fondateurs et des divers langages au sein du roman. Pourquoi Danielewski, qui remet en question les règles structurelles mises en place dans notre monde, attache-t-il autant d’importance aux mythes ? Dans un second temps, je mets en perspective les aspects intertextuels et intermédiales dont le roman regorge. Pour finir, je m’interroge sur les notions de genres et gender. Quel est le genre littéraire de House of Leaves ? Est-ce un roman ? Une nouvelle ? Une pièce de théâtre ? Un script cinématographique ? Un recueil de poèmes ? Ou, est-ce un ensemble de genres? De plus, comment définir le gender et pourquoi Danielewski, si innovant d’un point de vue littéraire, se montre-t-il tellement traditionnel dans la présentation hiérarchique du genre masculin et féminin dans son oeuvre ?, It took Mark Z. Danielewski over ten years to publish the final version of his novel House of Leaves. Ten years of reflection, research, questioning, writing and rewriting. Quickly becoming a bestseller, House of Leaves also caused a sensation in the literary field, arousing together wonder, concern and cogitation. While the novel features a relatively simple story that has been used repeatedly in the literature – the adventure of an American family moving into a nightmarish house with varying proportions – it surprises with regards to both its text formatting and its content. A multiplicity of typographies, an infinite number of footnotes, upside-down texts, blank pages followed by chaotic and illegible sections, coloured or striped words, a plurality of languages, photographs, drawings, models etc. : Danielewski ultimately transcends the rules of literature. A true and unique masterpiece, House of Leaves is an artwork in its own field of literature and stands out for its innovative presentation and extreme originality. In the context of this thesis, I study three main aspects: the architectural structure of the book, the intertextuality and intermediality in the manuscript and the notions of genres and gender. I firstly analyze the external and internal structure of the book and attempt to understand why Danielewski totally deconstructs the basic rules of architecture. Besides, I examine the link between the evolution of the Navidson family’s house and the psychology of the characters. Then, I evaluate the role of the founding myths and the various use of languages within the novel. Why does the author attach so much importance to myths? Secondly, I put into perspective the intertextual and intermedial aspects of the novel. Finally, I try to apprehend which literary genre does the novel belongs to, and I reflect upon the role of gender in the narrative. Is it a novel? A play? A movie script? Is it a poem? Or a combination of genres? Furthermore, how to define gender and why Danielewski, normally so innovative, is traditional in the hierarchical presentation of the masculine and feminine gender in his work?

De titre honorifique, le terme « Capitale européenne de la culture » est en train de se transformer depuis une dizaine d'années en véritable « label culturel », signe d'un ancrage fort de ce programme dans le secteur culturel européen. S'intéresser à ce programme revient donc à s'immerger dans les politiques culturelles européennes, en œuvre depuis une trentaine d'années. Ce mémoire analyse la candidature de Varna au programme européen « Capitale européenne de la culture en 2019 », replacée dans le contexte des exigences posées par la Commission européenne concernant l'initiative et aussi dans le contexte de la grande importance que ce projet a pour le développement de la ville de Varna en tant que centre culturel et touristique bulgare.

MPSoC platforms provide high performance, low power consumption and flexi-bility required by the emerging embedded systems. They incorporate many proces-sing units, memory blocs and peripherals, hierarchically organized by interconnec-tion network. The software development is known to be difficult, namely due to themanagement of multiple entities (tasks/threads/processes). The concurrent execu-tion of these entities allows to exploit efficiently the architecture but complicatesthe refinement process of the software and especially the debugging activity. Onthe one hand, the executions of the software can be non-deterministic, namely dueto the concurrency, i.e. they perform differently each time. Consequently, thereis no guaranties that an error will occur during the debugging activity. On theother hand, the complexity of the architecture and the execution can increase theelements to be analyzed in the debugging process. As a result, it can be difficultto concentrate on the potentially faulty elements. Therefore, one of the most im-portant challenges in the development process of MPSoC software is to reduce thetime of the refinement process.In this thesis, we propose a new methodology to refine the MPSoC softwarewhich helps the developers to do the debugging activity. Our first objective is tobe able to debug the same execution several times in order to analyze potentialsources of the error. To do so, we identified the sources of non-determinism in theMPSoC software executions and propose the most appropriate methods to recordand replay them. Our second objective is to reduce the execution overhead requi-red by the record mechanisms to limit the intrusiveness which is an importantMPSoC constraint. To accomplish this objective, we consider a part of the non-deterministic behaviour and selected efficient record-replay methods. The thirdobjective is to provide a scalable solution, i.e. to be able to debug more and morecomplex executions, characterized by an increasing number of elements. Therefore,we propose a partial replay method which allows to isolate and debug a fraction ofthe execution elements. Moreover, this method applies to different types of archi-tectures and applications MPSoC.; Les plates-formes MPSoC permettent de satisfaire les contraintes de performance, de flexibilité et de consommation énergétique requises par les systèmes embarqués émergents. Elles intègrent un nombre important de processeurs, des blocs de mémoire et des périphériques, hiérarchiquement organisés par un réseau d'interconnexion. Le développement du logiciel est réputé difficile, notamment dû à la gestion d'un grand nombre d'entités (tâches/threads/processus). L'exécution concurrente de ces entités permet d'exploiter efficacement l'architecture mais complexifie le processus de mise au point et notamment l'analyse des erreurs. D'une part, les exécutions peuvent être non-déterministes notamment dû à la concurrence, c'est à dire qu'elles peuvent se dérouler d'une manière différente à chaque reprise. En conséquence, il n'est pas garanti qu'une erreur se produirait durant la phase de mise au point. D'autre part, la complexité de l'architecture et de l'exécution peut rendre trop important le nombre d'éléments à analyser afin d'identifier une erreur. Il pourrait donc être difficile de se focaliser sur des éléments potentiellement fautifs. Un des défis majeurs du développement logiciel MPSoC est donc de réduire le temps de la mise au point. Dans cette thèse, nous proposons une méthodologie de mise au point qui aide le développeur à identifier les erreurs dans le logiciel MPSoC. Notre premier objectif est de déboguer une même exécution plusieurs fois afin d'analyser des sources potentielles de l'erreur jusqu'à son identification. Nous avons donc identifié les sources de non-déterminisme MPSoC et proposé des mécanismes de ré-exécution déterministe les plus adaptés. Notre deuxième objectif vise à minimiser les ressources pour reproduire une exécution afin de satisfaire la contrainte MPSoC de maîtrise de l'intrusion. Nous avons donc utilisé des mécanismes efficaces de ré-exécution déterministe et considéré qu'une partie du comportement non-déterministe. Le troisième objectif est de permettre le passage à l'échelle, c'est à dire de déboguer des exécutions caractérisées par un nombre d'éléments de plus en plus croissant. Nous avons donc proposé une méthode qui permet de circonscrire et de déboguer qu'une partie de l'exécution. De plus, cette méthode s'applique aux différents types d'architectures et d'applications MPSoC.

The current paper presents theoretical and experimental results of vibration reduction of beams and plates using Acoustic Black Hole (ABH) effect. ABH is a passive technique which uses properties of wave propagation in beam or plates of varying thickness. It is based on related to gradual decrease of the thickness that leads to the decrease of phase and group velocity of flexural waves. Thus, under certain conditions, it can be shown that waves stop propagating and do not reflect back from the edges. However, the practical implementation of the above theory is rather cumbersome task from a technological standpoint because very thin structures should be manufactured. This is why the area of ABH should could be treated additionally using a very thin layer of conventional damping materials. One dimensional and two dimensional configurations for the design of ABH are presented, adapted to the cases of beam and plates respectively. In the present study a brief theory of ABH and number of numerical and experimental results are given. A numerical approach able to evaluate the reflection and impedance matrices of a beam and consequently the point mobility is outlined. The experimental results encompass vibration reduction of different structures such as elliptical, rectangular, and polygonal plates. Moreover, a thermo-mechanical ABH has been designed and tested using a beam made of shape-memory polymer. As a result, all theoretical and experimental outcomes demonstrate excellent vibration reduction properties, thus, ABH could be used as an alternative approach for vibration mitigation. The advantages and limitations of this technique are discussed as well.

La littérature bulgare, qui occupe une place de choix parmi les littératures sud-slaves, doit son épanouissement à sa proximité avec Constantinople et à l’impact de l’initiative ecclésiale et littéraire de Cyrille et Méthode. Elle se caractérise par une grande abondance de textes ecclésiastiques et surtout hagiographiques et peut se diviser en trois périodes : au début, l’hagiographie vieux-slave de la fin du IXe s. au Xe s., liée à Cyrille et Méthode et leurs premiers disciples ; lui succède une deuxième époque caractérisée par l’épanouissement de l’hagiographie anachorétique correspondant au temps du deuxième royaume bulgare, du XIe s. à la fin du XIVe s. Enfin, on trouve l’âge d’or de l’hagiographie bulgare à la fin du XIVe s., liée au personnage du patriarche Euthyme de Tarnovo. Bulgarian literature, which holds a noteworthy position among southern-slavic literatures, owes its blooming to its proximity to the imperial capital of Constantinople and the subsequent impact of the church and literary initiative of Cyril and Methodius. Its characteristics include the abundance of ecclesiastical and especially hagiographical texts and it can be decomposed in three distinct periods: to the beginning of the old-slavic hagiography from the end of the 9th all through the 10th c. related to Cyril and Methodius and their first disciples succeeds a second period marked by the flourishing of anachoretic hagiography corresponding to the existence of the second Bulgarian kingdom from the 11th to the 14th c. Finally, the golden age of Bulgarian hagiography is situated towards the end of the 14th c. at the time of patriarch Euthymius of Tarnovo.

Il y a quand même un pointcommun – elles sont toutes disponibles en format HTML pour être visualiséesdans le navigateur client. Cet article présente une méthodologie et les outilsassociés d'extraction de données à partir de documents HTML. Notre approcheest basée sur des technologies XML pour effectuer l'extraction des données,notamment XHTML et XSLT. The effect of a 36-hour hyperoxia (60 % oxygen) on rabbit lung lipids has been investigated. It has been established that hyperoxia leads to the increase of all lipid fractions in lung tissue and alveolar surfactant, phospholipid and cholesterol being most significantly affected. It has also been found that hyperoxia leads to the decrease of palmitic acid and to the increase of linoleic and arachidonic acids almost in all lipid fractions. Marked changes in the positional distribution of fatty acids in alveolar surfactant phosphatidylcholine have also been observed. The possible mechanisms of the effect of oxygen on lung lipid metabolism have been discussed, and the consequences ensuing from it which could affect the structural organization of membranes have been evaluated.

The investigation in the present thesis is focused on the South Balkan extensional region using Global Positioning System (GPS) technique. The GPS-derived velocity field from 225 episodic and continuous GPS stations covering the territory of Central and East Mediterranean for the period 1996-2009 has been analysed and discussed in the context of present-day tectonics block models. The geodynamic processes in the region of Southwest Bulgaria (SWB) and Northern Greece (NG) are investigated by GPS measurements acquired during a 12-year (1996-2008) period. SWB and NG are recent active tectonic and seismotectonic regions. The SWB is the most active seismic region of the Bulgarian territory - in the Krupnik – Kresna region one of the most catastrophic earthquakes in continental Europe during the last two centuries occurred in 1904. NG is an area with widespread seismic activity ranging from low to high with destructive earthquakes of M≥6.0 from historical to recent times. The obtained velocity field of the Earth's crust is represented by 34 points in SWB and 21 points in NG encompassing the region. The results show southward displacements between 2-10 mm/yr. The strain rates for the region obtained by GPS measurement for the region are presented and discussed together with seismological events. By comparision to the geological and seismotectonic data, the results obtained from the GPS observations confirm the present-day activity of the fault structures and the dominating extension to the north-south. This extension is in agreement with the regional tectonic model of the East Mediterranean. The current tectonics of Albania is documented by neotectonics indices and by a large number of medium size earthquakes. The focal mechanisms suggest the existence of current shortening across the external Albanides whereas the internal Albanides are affected by E-W to N-S extension. To investigate the kinematics of the Albanides, we integrate continuous and episodic GPS measurements with focal mechanisms from the Regional Centroid Moment Tensor catalogue. This study has allowed distinguishing a western Albania affected by westward motions relative to the Apulia microplate, illustrating the ongoing collision of external Albanides, whereas inner Albanides present southward motion relative to both Apulia and stable Eurasia. The Skutar-Pesh Fault Zone, between Dinarides and Albanides, is identified as the possible northern limit of an area including Albania and western Greece, affected by a clockwise rotation relative to Apulia and also the northern limit of the Balkans (inner Albanides, Macedonia, Bulgaria) affected by southward motion relative to Apulia and stable Eurasia. The other transverse fault zone of the Albanides, the Diber-Elbasani fault, appears to be affected mainly by a moderate extension. Compilation of the published GPS data with our data set allows to identify the external-inner Albanides limit as the western border of the domain (inner Albania, northern Greece, Macedonia, Bulgaria) affected by southward displacements relative to stable Eurasia, whereas Skutar-Pesh fault probably forms also its northern limit. The analysis of the velocity field for the whole studied area leads to the hypothesis of a continuous deformation to the detriment of local deformation at the borders of stable blocks., Dans cette thèse, nous présentons une quantification de la déformation en cours du sud des Balkans et de la Méditerrnée centrale et orientale par GPS. Le champs de vitesses a été déduit de l'analyse de données issues de 225 stations GPS permanentes ou épisodiques pour la période 1996-2009. Ce champs de vitesse est analysé et discuté pour essayer de déterminer si le champ de vitesse est continu ou si, au contraire, des blocs stables peuvent être individualisés. La déformation actuelle du sud-ouest de la Bulgarie et du nord de la Grèce ont été particulièrement étudiés à partir de mesures réalisées de 1996 à 2008. Cette région est particulièrement active comme le montre la sismicité historique et en particulier le séisme de Krupnik en 1904 (sud-ouest de la Bulgarie) qui fut un séisme parmi les plus destructeur en Europe continentale au cours des deux derniers siècles. Le nord de la Grèce est quant à lui caractérisé par des séismes destructeurs de M > 6. Les résultats obtenus montrent l'existence de déplacements vers le sud par rapport à l'Eurasie stable s'accroissant du Nord (2mm/an) vers le sud de la région étudiée (10 mm/an). Les tenseurs de taux de déformation sont présentés et discutés à la lumière de la déformation exprimée lors des séismes. Ces deux types d'information montrent tous deux une prédominance d'une extension Nord-sud en accord avec les données géologiques (présence de grabens Est-Ouest) et les modèle proposés pour la Méditerranée centrale et orientale. A l'ouest des Balkans, la déformation actuelle de l'Albanie s'exprime par des nombreux indices néotectoniques et une sismicité importante présentant de nombreux séismes historiques destructeurs. Données géologiques et sismotectoniques montrent d'une part l'existence d'un raccourcissement dans les Albanides externes et d'autre part une extension Est-Ouest et Nord –Sud dans les Albanides externes. Les vitesses de déplacements ont été quantifiées par GPS continu et épisodiques à partir de 2003. Ces vitesses ainsi que les mécanismes au foyer montrent un raccourcissement en cours à travers l'Adriatique (déplacements des Albanides externes vers l'ouest par rapport à la plaque Apulie), et un déplacement vers le sud des Albanides internes à la fois par rapport à la plaque Apulie et à la plaque Eurasie. La zone de failles Skutar-Pesh entre Albanides et Dinarides semble former la limite nord de la zone affectée par un déplacement vers le sud par rapport à l'Eurasie comprenant l'est de l'Albanie, la Macédoine, la Bulgarie et la Grèce. Les Albanides externes semblent être segmentées par des failles transverses actives (faille de Lezhë et de l'ile d'Othoni et du col de Dhërmi) associées à une importante sismicité historiques. Les Albanides internes sont affectées à la fois par une extension Nord-sud le long de la faille d'Elbasani-Diber, du graben de Korca et par une extension est-ouest de part et d'autre du graben d'Ohrid. Le domaine affecté par un déplacement vers le sud est donc limité à l'ouest par la transition antre les Albanides externes et les Albanides Internes et au nordouest par la faille de Skutar-Pesh qui se poursuit en Macédoine. Sur l'ensemble du domaine étudié, notre analyse du champ de vitesse nous conduit à privilégié l'hypothèse d'une déformation continue au détriment d'une déformation localisée aux frontières de blocs stables.
