This article analyzes school management policies in the context of social regulation linked to the control of globalized financial capital, with the aim of understanding their political-pedagogical principles and their contradictions. It presents the historical bases of political and economic globalization, as well as the changes in the model of social regulation that have impacted educational policies in Brazil. Through bibliographical research and guided by historical-dialectical materialism, it discusses the concept of regulation and its analytical potential to unravel the contradictions of school management policies in Brazil since the 2000s, highlighting the political-pedagogical divergences between “management by results” and democratic management. The results indicate that educational reforms inspired by neoliberal ideology reconfigured the regulation of school management, assigning to the school greater responsibility for planning, resource management, and evaluation. The study concludes that, although they aim to increase administrative efficiency and transparency, by restricting the participation of the community and educators to results-oriented management logic, these reforms compromise the development of democratic and inclusive education.

Abstract We understand Singularism, a stream of transhumanist thought, to be an ideology associated with Silicon Valley and the political right-wing (Hughes 2002). Taking this as our object of study, the present article conducts an anthropological discussion around the concepts of culture, ideology, and cosmology as proposed by Eric Wolf (1999). Cosmology provides a basis for ideology so as to offer elements for criteria such as truth and the inevitability of a given project for power. We point out how cybernetics works as a cosmology for Singularism and we explore political and philosophical differences between exponents of Singularism, which -- to a large extent - express different appropriations of cybernetics in their construction of the concept of Singularity.

Este estudo propõe um ensaio pedagógico para o Ensino Religioso no Fundamental I, enfocando as pinturas corporais indígenas, especialmente o grafismo da etnia Potiguara, numa perspectiva decolonial. Ele busca atender às diretrizes da Proposta Curricular do Estado da Paraíba (2018), destacando a importância de explorar a cultura local. Discute a legislação pertinente, como a Lei 10.639/2003 e 11.645/2008, em relação ao Ensino Religioso, e aborda a subalternização dos saberes tradicionais como parte de um projeto colonial. O desenvolvimento metodológico é baseado em filtros básicos, qualitativos e exploratórios, com procedimento bibliográfico. O ensaio visa promover a compreensão do grafismo Potiguara como expressão linguística que transcende estereótipos, comunicando identidade e espiritualidade, e resistindo ao controle educacional colonial. Suas contribuições incluem ampliar e aprofundar o debate social necessário para diminuir violências simbólicas nas categorias não hegemônicas da cultura brasileira, especialmente a cosmovisão dos povos originários.

Este artigo tem como objetivo identificar o núcleo central das representações sociais de aluno de escola pública de Ensino Médio, construídas por seus professores. O referencial teórico adotado é a abordagem estrutural das representações. Desenvolveu-se um estudo on-line com 26 professores de escolas públicas. Utilizou-se, para testar o núcleo central, a técnica de Triagem Hierárquica Sucessiva. Os resultados indicaram representações sociais dos docentes acerca do aluno de escola pública de Ensino Médio centralizadas em superação e desigualdade, pois, para eles, seus alunos vivem em condições de desigualdade e enfrentam outros desafios, mas conseguem superá-los. Sugere-se medidas capazes de equalizar as oportunidades educacionais para as juventudes que frequentam a escola de Ensino Médio. Palavras-chave: Aluno. Ensino Médio. Representações Sociais. This article aims to present reflections about the analysis of the curricular relationship between the structural elements of teaching with babies and the materialities present in the planning of teachers of the Municipal Education Network of Florianópolis, based on a research at the Master's level in the Municipal Centers of Early Childhood Education. The sources are the official and legal documents that guide the care and education of babies, very young children and young children. And as a theoretical support, it is anchored in the production that focuses on the specificity of teaching with babies, the organization of spaces, environments and materialities in and for Early Childhood Education. The study affirms the importance and curricular meaning of the materialities arranged to babies in the organization of pedagogical work.

This research analyzes the educational policies developed by the municipality government of Augustinópolis for the partial implementation of mark 9, of the Municipal Education Plan (PME- 2015-2025) which deals with illiteracy among young people and adults. The monitoring and evaluation reports of the PME (2015-2025) were analyzed, together with the comparison between the absolute data of illiterates from the 2010 Census, and the number of enrollments in the first segment of youth and adult education (EJA), made available by the School Census for the years 2011 to 2021, of the researched municipality. The results demonstrate the limits and absences of the municipal government with youth and adult education policies.

Abstract The Atuba Complex occurs in the eastern region of Paraná State, located in the Southern Ribeira Belt. It is comprised of the Curitiba Terrane, northward of the Luís Alves Terrane, and southward of the Apiaí Terrane. This research was carried out by means of detailed petrography, microtectonics, and brittle and ductile structural analysis. The Atuba Complex is composed of migmatites, felsic granulites, granitoids, quartzites, phyllonites, schists, amphibolites, and cataclasites. The lithotypes are cut by diabase or gabbro dikes, lamprophyre dikes, pseudotachylites, and quartz, epidote, carbonate, or chlorite veins. The migmatites are characterized by two migmatization phases, the first composed of tonalitic leucosomes and the second formed by granitic leucosomes. The stromatic and mylonitized migmatites suggest dislocation creep mechanisms and dynamic recrystallization processes, mainly in quartz and feldspars. During the initial phase, melting reactions took place through dehydration, while in the subsequent phase, melting was facilitated by the presence of water-fluxed. The Atuba Complex comprises two foliations, Sn-1 (Dn-1 phase) and Sn (Dn phase). The Sn-1 surface (compositional banding) presents a ductile and anastomosed aspect with an N45W/55NE attitude, whereas the Sn mylonitic foliation is defined by the presence of mineral flattening or stretching and by the orientation of amphibole and biotite shapes, with a maximum plane of N45E/85NW. The observed faults and fractures strike in the NE-SW and NW-SE main directions. The paleostress study provided the recognition of a NE-SW sigma 1 associated with a NW-SE-striking sigma 3 for the left-lateral strike-slip faults and an E-W compressive SHMAX and an N-S distensive SHMIN for the right-lateral strike-slip faults.

In recent years, equity issues have taken on great importance, particularly in the field of oncology. Indeed, Canada has faced significant challenges, including global migration, limited resources, and climate changes that have exerted undeniable impacts on equity in cancer care services. Furthermore, the COVID-19 pandemic was a significant milestone that exacerbated many pre-existing health inequities. Despite these challenges, oncology nurse researchers shoulder the responsibility to contribute to health and epistemic equity (i.e., creation, usage, and diffusion of knowledge). This responsibility transcends Canada’s official languages (French and English), reflecting Canada’s rich linguistic diversity, with more than 4.6 million individuals (12.7%) primarily using languages other than English or French at home, such as Mandarin, Yue, Cree languages, and many more (Statistics Canada, 2022). Numerous researchers, including those featured in this journal, have taken a proactive stance in raising awareness and advocating for improved oncology research on health and epistemic equity (Varcoe et al., 2015; Winkfield et al., 2020). Alongside scholars and researchers, numerous national and international organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, have also expressed a commitment to address this crucial issue.

Sobretudo nos últimos 30 anos, vêm se proliferando estudos ancorados na perspectiva historiográfica denominada “protagonismo indígena”, fornecendo novos marcos teórico-conceituais e interpretativos para a compreensão da chamada “questão indígena” no Brasil. Tal perspectiva tem influenciado outros campos disciplinares e a análise da formação territorial de particularidades geográficas e dos “modos de vida” de seus povos nativos. O objetivo deste texto foi realizar uma problematização inicial das abordagens referidas às análises sobre as reações e respostas políticas dos povos nativos “civilizados” do centro-norte da capitania e depois província do Espírito Santo aos processos de imposição do trabalho e da expropriação das terras que ocupavam, especificamente após a criação de aldeamentos e missões jesuíticas. Passou-se pelas discussões acerca da legislação e da política indigenista entre meados do século XVIII e meados do século XIX, além da formulação e implementação da legislação agrária a partir de 1850, relativamente à Lei de Terras do Império, sua regulamentação e sua legislação complementar.

A cidade assumiu-se, na sua génese, como pólo e entreposto, como eixo e confluência da esperança, da realização e das oportunidades… Foi terra de libertação e de expressão, dos sonhos mais secretos e mais explícitos do homem a caminho da sua elevação. Continuará a cidade a ser tudo isto ou a cidade idealizada é apenas memória do passado sem ontologia no presente?

Partindo de uma muito conhecida e bastante controversa recensão crítica de João Gaspar Simões, buscarei redimensionar questões que envolvem a tradição lírica portuguesa e sua relação com a identidade nacional. Minha questão é: em que ponto uma poética como a de Salette Tavares trai essa tradição e subverte essa identidade?

O artigo problematiza o currículo para a Educação Infantil à luz da abordagem histórico-crítica. Para tanto, partiu-se da seguinte questão norteadora: sob quais fundamentos pode-se erigir o currículo para a Educação Infantil numa perspectiva histórico-crítica, voltado para o acesso ao conhecimento sistematizado e ao pleno desenvolvimento das qualidades humanas das crianças? Seu objetivo é apreender os fundamentos curriculares da Pedagogia Histórico-Crítica (PHC) e suas contribuições para a discussão e elaboração de proposta pedagógica curricular para a Educação Infantil enquanto espaço de acesso ao conhecimento historicamente sistematizado pela humanidade. Pesquisas na área do currículo da educação infantil, ainda são insuficientes quando se considera a complexidade e as disputas sobre como deve ser realizado o trabalho pedagógico com crianças pequenas. Neste estudo, defende-se a construção de currículos próprios e embasados em uma concepção crítica, que oportunize um trabalho com as crianças na perspectiva de uma educação emancipadora, para que, desde pequenas, sejam sujeitos críticos e que, ao longo da sua trajetória, sejam transformadoras das suas próprias realidades. Trata-se de um artigo teórico, de abordagem qualitativa, do tipo pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, tendo como aportes as principais referências na discussão de currículo da PHC. Os resultados apontam que o currículo da educação infantil é um campo em disputa e que a PHC apresenta fundamentos curriculares para a educação infantil, ainda em construção, pautados em concepções críticas de educação e sociedade e que superam o espontaneísmo pedagógico proposto pela Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC).

Este estudo buscou discutir sexismo e racismo na Ciência/Química através de uma sequência didática com estudantes de uma escola pública de Ensino Médio localizada em Juazeiro do Norte/CE, para evidenciar o papel das mulheres nesse espaço, fomentando um ensino de Química menos racista, machista e sexista. A sequência didática foi organizada em três momentos, com duração de 50 minutos cada, envolvendo a participação de 27 estudantes. Para a geração dos dados foram utilizados dois questionários com a turma, no início e no final da atividade, além do diário de campo. A atividade revelou que os(as) estudantes possuíam uma concepção caricata e reducionista da figura de cientista, não considerando a possibilidade de mulheres, sobretudo negras, na produção do conhecimento científico e tecnológico. Aliado à experimentação, a sequência didática buscou promover um ensino de Química socialmente contextualizado, possibilitando uma outra visão entre os(as) estudantes sobre ser cientista.

O texto originou-se de exposição por mim realizada por ocasião do lançamento da Revista Trabalho Necessário, número 42, de 2022, organizada por Rodrigo Lamosa e Marco Lamarão, cujo tema é O empresariamento da educação e o Estado-educador. Refere-se ao processo metarreflexivo sobre as análises apresentadas no volume pelos vários autores, tendo em vista assinalar as tendências e contribuições acerca do tema, ressalvadas as divergências teóricas. É comum às abordagens a defesa inconteste da escola pública em todas as suas formas, e a análise das estratégias da burguesia para a formação da juventude trabalhadora. São tratados os Aparelhos Privados de Hegemonia; as organizações multilaterais; os aparelhos de Estado; as TICs. No que toca diretamente ao assunto do dossiê, os autores discutiram empresariamento, privatização, mercantilização, mercadorização, financeirização, comoditização, relação público-privado, filantropização, capitalização, flexibilização e comercialização, evidenciando-se que são muitas as formas de refletir sobre a presença do capital na determinação das políticas educacionais no Brasil. Understanding the behavior of interface resistance involves factors such as the friction angle of the interface, the asperity height of the geomembrane, type of soil in contact with the synthetic material, the applied stresses, among others. In this context, statistical techniques have the ability to establish correlations between variables for evaluating interface strength tests, such as conventional direct shear (CDC) and inclined plane (PI). In this study, the interfaces between sand and geomembrane (SG) were analyzed for the CDC and PI tests. The aim was to obtain a statistical understanding of the parameters that most influenced the interface friction angle (ϕint) using Pearson's correlation matrix. It was observed that the soil friction angle (ϕs) and the asperity height of the geomembrane (hG) showed the highest correlations with ϕint for the tests carried out with the SG-CDC interfaces. The results also showed that for the SG-CDC interfaces, 7.15% of the correlations showed a strong or moderate correlation, while 35.70% showed weak correlations and 50% showed very weak correlations. On the other hand, for the SG-PI interface, only hG showed a strong correlation, with 29%, 50% and 14% of the variables classified as moderate, weak and very weak, respectively.

The article presents the results of a study on the financing of early childhood education in municipalities in the region of Jalapão - Tocantins. The same came from the following question: how is the financing of early childhood education in the municipalities of the region of Jalapão/TO for the universalization and fulfillment of Goal 1 of the PNE/PME? As a general objective, we sought to understand the educational financing policy of the municipalities in the Jalapão region for the universalization of early childhood education in compliance with Target 1 of the PNE/PME. This is a qualitative research, having as a time frame the period from 2015 to 2019 and a spatial focus on the eight municipalities in that region. The results showed the difficulties and dependence of municipalities on collaborative actions by federated entities, especially resources from FUNDEB, showing several incapacities to universalize early childhood education and overcome educational inequalities.

O artigo busca comentar a tese lançada por Heidegger nas linhas finais do seu comentário sobre o poema “Como em dia de festa…”, no qual o filósofo diz que, com base no texto em questão, a poesia de Hölderlin já não é mais um cântico ao sagrado ou à natureza, mas sim um hino “do” sagrado. Com base nessa afirmação, busca-se primeiro uma exposição das noções de natureza e de sagrado em Hölderlin, seguida de um esboço para uma linguagem da natureza a partir de alguns textos do poeta, o que é imprescindível para um possível hino do sagrado. Trata-se de um tema que requer a necessidade de se apontar na produção do poeta, sobretudo na tardia, uma supressão do protagonismo do poeta enquanto criador, para pensá-lo como o “entre” a terra e o céu, como aquele que não é somente humano nem somente divino, isto é, o poeta como um intermediário entre os deuses e os homens. Somente assim, é possível pensar em uma linguagem da natureza e, por conseguinte, um hino do sagrado, uma vez que o poeta se apresenta como aquele que acolhe o dom do cântico poético, que é o próprio sagrado fazendo-se palavra no coração do poeta.

O artigo trata de uma pesquisa qualitativa de caráter descritivo e interpretativo, do tipo estudo de caso, com dados submetidos à análise de conteúdo. Adotou-se o instrumento da entrevista com roteiro semiestruturado para a coleta dos dados. Buscou-se compreender como as práticas pedagógicas dos professores alfabetizadores se relacionam com seus processos de formação continuada, além de interpretar os elementos que caracterizam o ensino da aquisição da leitura e da escrita. Os resultados da pesquisa apontam que as práticas das entrevistadas são construídas por estratégias que consideram as prescrições presentes nas atividades propostas pela secretaria municipal de educação, combinando com autonomia dos educadores em escolher o método a ser utilizado na alfabetização de seus alunos.

Este artigo propõe seis dimensões reflexivas sobre as alterações admitidas na linguagem telejornalística na cobertura dos primeiros meses de pandemia de covid-19. O percurso metodológico da pesquisa foi dividido em dois momentos: o primeiro foi de observação, coleta e seleção de reportagens em abril, maio e junho de 2020. Os exemplos ilustrativos foram selecionados qualitativamente por meio do Jornal Nacional, da Rede Globo. No segundo momento, à luz do referencial teórico, de telejornalismo e de jornalismo em dispositivos móveis, e de análise dos dados, foram sistematizadas as seis dimensões, que são a contribuição deste artigo, para pensar a convergência, a imbricação e a hibridização dos meios e linguagens. Como resultado, evidencia-se a dupla remediação, num fenômeno tão radical que por vezes apaga a própria mediação.

Conservação da biodiversidade, restauração florestal e redução do desmatamento são demandas prementes da sociedade brasileira. No Portal da Amazônia, fronteira agrícola inserida no Arco do Desmatamento, são urgentes estratégias que garantam produção agrícola com permanência de agricultores familiares, aliadas à redução do desmatamento e conservação da agro e biodiversidade. Esta pesquisa traz um olhar multidisciplinar para os quintais agroflorestais, em 19 comunidades, em dois municípios. Identificamos as espécies agrícolas e florestais cultivadas, seus principais usos e potenciais para produção de alimentos, diversificação da produção, geração de renda e uso e conservação de espécies florestais nativas em 44 quintais. Trabalhamos também com a espacialização da riqueza de espécies, pensando a paisagem dos dois municípios. Foram identificadas 201 espécies, com diversos usos potenciais. Dessas, 48% geram renda a partir de várias fontes de comercialização já estabelecidas, nos dois municípios. A escolha de espécies a serem cultivadas (com alta diversidade, baixa similaridade entre quintais, uso frequente de espécies exclusivas e implantação de espécies florestais nativas), aliada ao potencial uso dessas espécies para consumo e comercialização, denotam a importância dos quintais para a diversificação produtiva, alimentar e de renda para a agricultura familiar. Os números de riqueza e a distribuição espacial dos quintais demonstram que a diversificação em escala local (propriedade rural) implica em diversificação na escala regional (município). Os resultados indicam aceitação do modelo como sistema de produção, para além dos sistemas simplificados usuais em áreas desmatadas da Amazônia. Pode-se apontá-los como espaços biodiversos por decisão de seus mantenedores, que diversificam a produção, favorecem a conservação de espécies florestais nativas e contribuem para o desenvolvimento e conservação da agro e biodiversidade na região. Conclui-se que podem ser implementados como novos sistemas produtivos no Portal da Amazônia, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento local e regional, gerando benefícios ecológicos, econômicos e sociais.

The National Agrarian Reform Education Program has advanced in relation to the policies historically developed in Brazil for the education of countryside populations, representing a paradigm shift. This article was directed by the following research problem: how did the implementation of Pronera materialize in the State of Piauí, through the Youth and Adult Education Project of Agrarian Reform Settlements? The objective is to analyze the Pronera implantation process in the State. The investigation was based on literature review, document analysis and interviews with different subjects from the institutions and movements involved in the implementing process of the Program. The results indicate that this process involved difficulties related to the structural precariousness of the settlements; the level of monitors training; the bureaucratic aspects of the process processing; the discontinuity in the release of the installments agreed in the work plans and the delay in pedagogical activities, elements that interfered in the dynamics of the Project's execution. The problems faced were being overcome by the engagement of the pedagogical team and the social and union movements involved, revealing that Pronera played a central role in expanding the processes of schooling and training of the people engaged in the struggles for the right to education and social transformation.

Abstract Microbialites are the most abundant life evidence in Precambrian sedimentary rocks. They are produced by microbial interaction activity and sedimentary processes reflecting paleoenvironmental conditions. The Ediacaran-Cambrian carbonate and siliciclastic successions in the Southern Amazon Craton in Central Brazil, provide a key opportunity to understand how the metazoan life coexisted with the microbial communities. The spatial and temporal distribution of microbialites as well as morphological and paleoenvironmental changes have been assessed, reinterpreting previous works and including new data from the Araras-Alto Paraguai and Corumbá basins. The deposition was controlled by subsidence and sea-level changes that affected these basins, considered extensions of epicontinental seas during the Gondwana assembly. The stromatolites are restricted to coastal deposits and experienced thriving flourishment intervals after the Marinoan Glaciation (635 Ma). Post-glacial transgression was marked by microbial colonization in shallow platforms represented by stratiform and giant domical stromatolites in the Araras-Alto Paraguai Basin. The continuity of the transgression generated a moderately deep aragonite sea at about 622 Ma. A progressive sea-level fall caused the implantation of coastal environments under greenhouse conditions with tidal flat and sabkha settings colonized by centimetric-scale stromatolites. The sea retreat was accompanied by progressive uplift, causing a moderate inversion of the basin and erosion of the succession until ~560 Ma with the deposition of the last preserved tidal flat deposits with the occurrence of thrombolites. The subsiding Corumbá Basin was the site of microbially-induced deposition of carbonates in a shallow platform connected to an offshore setting with the proliferation of metazoan straddling the Ediacaran-Cambrian boundary. Microbial communities were restricted to lagoon deposits during the Lower Cambrian transgression in the Araras-Alto Paraguai Basin and the last phase refers to the sea retreat towards southeast, developing a fluvial system connected with the arid and evaporitic tidal flats colonized by microbialites that lasted until the upper Cambrian. Except for the post-glacial stromatolites, the columnar and domal microbialite indicate that the coastal settings dominated the Ediacaran-Cambrian transition. The preservation of microbialites in the post-glacial intervals can be associated with the Mg-Ca-CO3 oversaturation in dolomitic platforms. The rapid calcification and ability to resist the dissolution and replacement have increased the stromatolites’ preservation potential reported here, where its well-preserved occurrence in tidal flats and sabkha occurs due to intense early diagenetic silicification. The change from carbonate accumulation to siliciclastic-rich environments contributed to the demise of microbially-induced strata. In general, the scarce coexistence between coastal stromatolite and metazoan-bearing marine deposits makes it challenging to establish a competitive relationship between these organisms, as previously postulated.

A pecuária extensiva é uma das principais causas de desmatamento e perda de biodiversidade em regiões de fronteira agrícola como o Portal da Amazônia, região Norte de Mato Grosso. A pré-disposição de agricultores em incluir árvores em pastagens depende de sua percepção positiva sobre elas, e pode subsidiar a construção de novos sistemas produtivos, que melhorem estrutural e funcionalmente a paisagem da região. Estudamos a percepção de 39 agricultores familiares, de quatro municípios da região do Portal da Amazônia, sobre os benefícios das árvores em pastagens, avaliando seu potencial para sistemas silvipastoris. Realizamos a caracterização de pastagens sombreadas, o levantamento das espécies arbóreas nativas e o registro e avaliação do conhecimento e percepção dos agricultores sobre elas. Conduzimos oficinas comunitárias para definição de espécies arbóreas consideradas chave, sua caracterização dendrométrica e levantamento bibliográfico sobre o potencial em sistemas silvipastoris. A avaliação das pastagens apontou predomínio de espécies de braquiária (Urochloa spp.) e baixa adoção de práticas de manejo. Mapeamos 1875 árvores (com densidade entre 0,29 e 45,8 indivíduos/hectare) e identificadas 129 espécies. As principais motivações dos agricultores para manter árvores nas pastagens foram o fornecimento de sombra para os animais (94,8%), melhoria do solo (69,2%) e geração de renda com sementes (25,6%). As espécies de maior interesse foram Samanea tubolosa, Handronthus serratifolius, Apeiba tibourbou, Maclura tinctoria e Platymiscium floribundum. Os resultados apontam possibilidades para o uso de espécies arbóreas nativas em pastagens, contribuindo com a reintrodução do componente arbóreo e da biodiversidade nativa em sistemas produtivos. Demonstram o potencial de sistemas silvipastoris com espécies arbóreas nativas como alternativas aos modelos convencionais de produção na região, contribuindo com uma nova forma de se compreender os sistemas pecuários e com o desenvolvimento local e regional no Portal da Amazônia.

The purpose of this paper is to initiate a debate on the "state of health" of the humanities within Italy's largest research institution. Looking back over its history, in fact, it seems that the humanities are almost somehow a foreign body in the life of this institution. In the last 15 years, though, the need to harmonize them in the life of the CNR has emerged in different ways, which seem, however, to reflect the deep-rooted crisis and the profound transformations that mark the humanities today. The present contribution has an exploratory value, in the hope of resuming and enriching an increasingly urgent debate, which calls into question the civil role and the very survival of humanistic studies.

O presente artigo pretende analisar o modelo de tecnificação adotado pela Defesa Civil de Santa Catarina. Trata-se de uma proposta que decorre da percepção de mudanças na Política Nacional de Proteção e Defesa Civil em 2012, em que o discurso tecnocientífico é inserido como matriz central da política nacional. O problema que se coloca é qual o objetivo dessa proposta, as mudanças que traz consigo e suas consequências. Para essa reflexão, o percurso que se seguiu foi a realização de um estudo de caso com escopo no pensamento da sociologia dos desastres. O caso selecionado foi o Projeto JICA, que tem papel relevante na organização da defesa civil de Santa Catarina. O estudo do JICA revela pistas importantes sobre o sentido que a PNPDC pode estar adquirindo, por se tratar de uma experiência de referência nacional. Para o estudo, foi realizada a revisão teórico-bibliográfica do contexto de emergência do Projeto JICA, o processo de sua implantação e o papel que esse processo teve no desenvolvimento da política estadual de defesa civil. Ainda, foram feitas entrevistas em que se buscou analisar a conformação do debate político em debate técnico, além da confrontação de dados documentais, como o Plano Plurianual, o Estudo Preparatório para o Projeto de Prevenção e Mitigação de Desastres na Bacia do Rio Itajaí e reportagens de grande circulação publicadas em 2015, para levantar os impactos produzidos por essa mudança. O estudo aponta que o marcador “proteção”, como conceito orientador da política de defesa civil, encobre um conjunto de interesses em disputa no poder político, nos quais os setores empresariais têm vantagem ao assumirem o discurso tecnocientífico como ferramenta precisa de confrontação. Como decorrência, os seus interesses se generalizam como interesse geral da população atingida, concentrando poder político. Foram levantadas várias consequências desse processo, das quais, a mais cruel, é o uso do sofrimento das vítimas dos desastres.

O presente artigo tem como proposta discutir a questão da autonomia reprodutiva no Brasil a partir da legislação vigente entre o final do século XVII e o início do século XX. Focando nos oitocentos devido ao aumento de controle e vigilância sobre o corpo feminino, principalmente em relação ao aborto, pretende-se ampliar o escopo em torno da compreensão sobre a constituição do papel de gênero imposto às mulheres na sociedade, vinculado especialmente à maternidade. Assim, a criminalização do aborto é um aspecto jurídico central que permite observar os desdobramentos sociopolíticos que intensificaram o cerceamento à autonomia reprodutiva das mulheres.

The growing demand for clean and sustainable energy sources has driven countries around the world to explore renewable energy options, including wind power. This research focuses on the use of machine learning techniques to optimize the site selection process for wind power plants in the Philippines. The study aims to address the challenge of identifying suitable locations for wind power plant development, which requires the assessment of various environmental and socio-economic factors. The research utilizes various datasets, including wind speed and direction, topography, land use, population density, and infrastructure availability. Additionally factors on The datasets was acquired to the Maps that contains road network, urban areas, protection areas, slope, wind speed, water courses, natural disasters and transmissions lines. These datasets are processed and analysed using SVM machine learning algorithms to identify the most suitable sites for wind power plant development. The study results indicate that machine learning techniques can provide a more accurate and efficient approach to wind power plant site selection compared to traditional methods. The model can identify areas with high potential for wind energy generation, taking into account various factors that influence the feasibility and profitability of wind power plant development. The research findings are expected to provide valuable insights for policymakers, investors, and other stakeholders involved in the renewable energy sector in the Philippines. The use of machine learning techniques can facilitate the identification of optimal locations for wind power plants, leading to more efficient and effective renewable energy development in the country.

As selfies são fotos tiradas sozinho ou com outros e compartilhadas nas redes sociais, e atualmente superaram a função de apenas ser um registro de momentos e passaram a ser uma forma de comunicação. Considerando essa importância na cultura atual, o objetivo deste estudo foi compreender as relações entre selfies e personalidade, através de uma revisão de literatura. Foram considerados estudos em inglês e português publicados nos últimos 10 anos nas bases de dados ScienceDirect, Scielo, Pepsic, Lilacs e BVS, sendo localizados a partir dos critérios estabelecidos um total de 7 artigos (todos em inglês). Os resultados indicaram uma constante associação positiva entre o narcisismo e diversos comportamentos individuais de postagem de selfies, enquanto os cinco grandes fatores de personalidade pareceram estar mais relacionados a comportamentos sociais nessa atividade. A partir do que é observado, demonstra-se a importância de desenvolver pesquisas acerca do tema no contexto brasileiro.

O constructo dissertativo que aqui é apresentado teve como objetivo analisar em ambiência focalizada, a mais recente reforma do ensino médio e o avanço da relação público-privado na educação. O objeto central da pesquisa é o Programa de Educação Integral e as Escolas Jovens de Ensino Médio em Tempo Integral (Lei nº 3.366 de 27 de dezembro de 2017) que estão sendo implementados no estado do Acre. Assim, o estudo problematizou de que forma têm se dado a atuação de institutos ligados ao setor empresarial no processo de implementação da política de educação em tempo integral no ensino médio do estado do Acre.

This text is a synopsis of a master’s dissertation in Medieval History, focused on the study of the casal, regarded as an unit of space social organization, in the NW of Portugal, along the X-XII centuries. It synthesizes the guiding programme and the main results of an analysis centred on the evolution of this type of peasant holding which, alike what happened in most regions of Medieval West, was a key-element in the construction of a feudal society in Entre-Douro-e-Lima.

This essay deals with the work of Ernesto De Martino (focusing on the essays Morte e pianto rituale and La terra del rimorso) in order to investigate the persistence of archaic rituality in contemporary civilization. In particular, a difference emerges between the rites that remain useful to overcome some critical situations, and those which result worthless, since they are deprived of their ancient contents. By these accounts, culture emerges as a "space" in which the internal conflict in society is reproduced, by questioning the researcher and the anthropologist about the nature of folklore and the urgency for society to evolve toward greater equity and social justice.

The recent coronavirus pandemic put the whole world facing the problem of the end. The apocalypse is a theme that accompanied humanity throughout its history, but in capitalistic society, it takes on some particular characteristics. This article tries to examine some of these aspects by remembering recent events useful to build a mythology allowing us to imagine a different future.

Baseado em pesquisa etnográfica de longa duração realizada numa vizinhança rural fronteiriça, o artigo argumenta que no Haiti rural contemporâneo existem tanto entendimentos culturalmente específicos de legitimidade e de soberania quanto dispositivos securitários independentes do Estado, inclusive para punição a infratores. As vizinhanças são capazes de exercer certo grau de controle sobre a circulação de pessoas e de mercadorias, mesmo quando agem contra o Estado (como no caso do contrabando), que em muitas instâncias não possui capacidade logística para lhes fazer frente e impor seus desígnios. As vizinhanças são moralmente pautadas por um senso de justiça que opera em grande medida à margem do ordenamento jurídico, cuja máxima expressão é o linchamento de ladrões.

O artigo analisa a disseminação de debates sobre os feminismos em plataformas digitais a partir da atuação de influenciadoras digitais socialmente engajadas, que têm a produção de conteúdos sobre o tema como elementos centrais de sua presença on-line. À luz de debates sobre as reconfigurações da atuação política em ambientes digitais e disputas pela identidade feminista na cultura do consumo, discutimos as representações do feminismo em três canais no YouTube: Afros e Afins, Jout Prazer e Nunca te Pedi Nada. Os resultados apontam para a necessidade de repensar a noção de feminismo popular a partir de nuances mais diversas e complexas.

Accuracy in the diagnosis is a key step to identify HIV infected individuals for appropriate management. Insufficient supply of manufacture´s buffers in relation to the number of strips per kit has negative impact on patient’s results hence improper patient´s management. In resource limited settings some laboratory staff use different substitute buffers which has never been validated on their reliability. This study aimed at comparing the performance of 0.85% saline and SD-Bioline manufacture’s buffer in detection of HIV antibodies. A total of 220 whole blood specimens: 110 HIV positive specimens from patients attending care and treatment center (CTC) and 110 HIV negative specimens from blood donors were re-tested for HIV status using SD-Bioline HIV rapid test using manufacturer´s buffer and 0.85% saline separately. Data and laboratory results were recorded in Microsoft excel sheet followed by analysis using STATA version 13. For all tested samples, the level of agreement between 0.85% saline and manufacturer’s buffer was 98.64% (kappa=0.9727).The value of kappa indicates very good agreement between 0.85% saline and manufacturer’s buffer. In incidents where manufacturers´ buffer is not sufficient, 0.85% saline can give reliable results. Further studies to evaluate the suitable buffer for other rapid tests for HIV and other diseases are recommended especially in resource limited settings.

Nos últimos 40 anos, formou-se um amplo acervo de pesquisas ligadas à temática da “formação econômica” do Espírito Santo, as quais, amparadas na categoria da modernização, ajudaram a consolidar uma dada interpretação do processo de desenvolvimento capixaba que o positivou não só no entendimento acadêmico sobre essa “formação econômica”, mas também no senso comum. Pressupondo que essa positivação reafirma o caráter fetichista dessa categoria e da temática em questão, nosso objetivo foi identificar as abordagens que lhes dão suporte e propor uma nova contribuição teórica para sua compreensão. Para realizar essa tarefa, recorremos a dois estudos de História Econômica elaborados por Gabriel Bittencourt, professor e pesquisador que foi ligado ao Departamento de História da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo. This work was developed in the São Pedro land reform settlement project, located in the municipality of Paranaíta, Brazilian Midwest. Our objective was to understand some of the vulnerabilities of family farming and the threats generated by the advance of soybean crops towards settlement. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation and construction of timelines. The results indicate that, over time, the economic stabilization of families has always been temporary, having been affected by a historical lack of structure and adequate agricultural policies, which have hindered the continuity of agricultural activities. Thus, cattle ranching replaced grain crops in the early 2000s. The current expansion of large soybean-producing properties in the vicinity of the settlement exposes farmers to the threat of commercialization or leasing of land, especially in view of the degradation of pastures on many properties. In the current context, obtaining land title and access to agricultural credit are necessary elements for strengthening family farming in the settlement.

O aumento do número de mulheres envolvidas em atividades ilegais no país, percebido através de pesquisas disponibilizadas pelo Departamento Penitenciário Nacional, chama atenção para um fenômeno multifacetado e de alta complexidade, despertando a necessidade de se pensar a dinâmica da sociedade brasileira para compreender qual o sentido desse aumento. O presente artigo, a partir de uma pesquisa qualitativa, perseguiu uma tentativa de compreender melhor a formação dos dados do encarceramento feminino, qual o interesse jurídico e social atribuído as personagens dessas estatísticas e em que medida suas subjetividades são apreendidas em tal contexto. Possibilita-se, dessa forma, percepções acerca de como se formata o número de mulheres em situação de privação de liberdade no Brasil (implicações sociais e demográficas), sobre o que o Direito tem estudado sobre a mulher encarcerada e as grandes possibilidades e complexidades das relações vividas pelas mulheres enquanto autoras de crime. Destaca-se, por fim, a relevância das relações de poder e gênero na construção de universos de significados que dificultam a percepção dessas mulheres, impedem o reconhecimento de suas individualidades e, muitas vezes, suprimem as suas subjetividades, o que, consequentemente, dificulta o reconhecimento e a concretização de direitos frente a uma necessária resolução do problema com a contenção do aumento das estatísticas.

RESUMO: Ações de popularização da ciência associadas ao uso de mídias digitais ampliam as oportunidades e os espaços para a divulgação de temas de interesse para a sociedade, imprimindo esforço adicional para maior inteligibilidade do discurso científico pelo público leigo. Na atualidade, em instituições públicas de pesquisa, como a Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa), as ações de divulgação científica também vêm sendo apoiadas por estratégias comunicacionais na mídia digital, por meio de microvídeos e aplicativos móveis para acesso via celulares, tablets e smartphones. O artigo apresenta resultados de pesquisa realizada visando à definição de estratégia comunicacional para promover a divulgação de informações e conhecimentos gerados pela Embrapa sobre soluções tecnológicas, em especial, softwares e sistemas de informação, necessárias à adequação da paisagem rural ao Código Florestal brasileiro. Após um processo de identificação e qualificação de produtos de software e sistemas de informação, cujos conteúdos contemplam a temática ambiental e florestal, e dada a inexistência na Embrapa de materiais audiovisuais e aplicativos móveis sobre tais tecnologias, decidiu-se pela produção de dezesseis microvídeos e pelo desenvolvimento de um aplicativo móvel. Com essa estratégia comunicacional, a Embrapa amplia os meios de acesso gratuito ao conhecimento gerado pela pesquisa, utilizando-se de recursos digitais disponibilizados via dispositivos móveis, acessíveis via internet. Esses recursos favorecem a aproximação da Embrapa com a sociedade, contribuindo para a popularização do conhecimento científico. ABSTRACT:Actions to popularize science associated with the use of digital media expand the opportunities and spaces for the dissemination of topics of interest for the society, introducing additional effort to increase the intelligibility of scientific discourse by the lay public. Currently, in public research institutions, such as the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), scientific dissemination actions have also been supported by communication strategies in digital media, through micro video and mobile applications for access via cell phones, tablets and smartphones. This article presents research results aimed at the definition of a communication strategy to promote the dissemination of information and knowledge generated by Embrapa on technological solutions, especially softwares and information systems, necessary for the adaptation of the rural landscape to the Brazilian Forest Code. After a process of identification and qualification of software products and information systems, whose contents cover the environmental and forest issues, and given the lack of Embrapa of audiovisual materials and mobile applications on such technologies, it was decided to produce sixteen micro videos and by developing a mobile application. With this communication strategy, Embrapa expands the means of free access to the knowledge generated by the research, using digital resources made available through mobile devices, accessible through the Internet. These resources favor the approach of Embrapa with society, contributing to the popularization of scientific knowledge. While problem-posing respecting real-world situations can be a promising approach for fostering modelling competence, research on modelling through problem posing is scant. This present paper aims to characterize the mathematical tasks designed by prospective teachers regarding the criteria of a modelling problem. Data were collected from fifty mathematical tasks posed by twenty-five preservice teachers as participants at a public university in Surabaya, Indonesia, within a summative test of an assessment course.The problem-posing task asked the participants to pose two different mathematical tasks from a given realworld situation. To analyze, the participants’ responses were coded as solvable or unsolvable tasks and then further coded regarding two aspects of modelling problem i.e., connection to reality and openness of a problem. Our analysis revealed that the participants tended to pose problems with authentic connections rather than artificial connections to reality. However, only a few of the posed problems were indicated to promote openness in terms of either various mathematical models or an unclear initial state, which is the crucial indicator of a modelling problem. Implications regarding modelling competence via problem-posing in preservice teacher education are discussed.

This study aims to examine the quality of 8 e-learning design developed by perspective mathematics teachers. The instrument used was an observation sheet consisting of 25 dimensions observed related to 6 fields, namely tutor support, collaboration, technology, information transparency of provider/course, course structure, and didactics. The results of this study indicate that of the 8 e-learning designs developed, most of the designs have met all the aspects in each field. However, the design left out the Individualized Learner Support since the designed e-learning is only focused on the particular topic on mathematics and the support needed beyond the topic is provided by teacher through other form such as class WhatsApp group in where students and teachers interaction are not limited only on the particular topic.Another aspect left out is Traditional Communication Media since it already covered by more sophisticated media like video conference, google drive and WhatsApp. Organisational Information is not yet paid attention in the designing the e-learning which could be added for better information on the course detail.Regarding the discursive cooperation and discussion, all the 8 designed e-learning provide the problem to be discussed but only 6 out of 8 of the designed e-learning promote classroom discussion with discursive problem.

Este estudo objetivou descrever o percurso das ações de Promoção da Saúde na Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde a partir do referencial teórico do CompHP. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa, realizado em Brejo Santo, Ceará, no contexto da Residência Multiprofissional, com participação de 16 profissionais residentes. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevista semiestruturada e os dados foram organizados conforme Análise de Conteúdo e analisados com base na literatura e referencial teórico do CompHP. Foram construídas quatro categorias que representam os domínios de competências em promoção da saúde que caracterizam um processo sequencial e organizacional das ações de promoção da saúde: a) Diagnóstico; b) Planejamento; c) Implementação; e d) Avaliação e Pesquisa. As ações de promoção da saúde na Residência Multiprofissionais demonstraram seguir uma sequência lógica e estruturada condizente com os domínios de competências e etapas processuais de Diagnóstico, Planejamento, Implementação e Avaliação e Pesquisa.

Morphometry is fundamental for understanding the environmental dynamics of a given area. The morphometric and morphological analysis in watersheds is aimed at understanding the modeling of relief and local and regional fluvial dynamics and, through the application of morphometric parameters, the behavior of these units can be quantitatively evaluated. The watershed of the Peixe river, located in the southeast of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, presents in its territory morphometric specificities when compared to surrounding areas and, in order to investigate these morphometric characteristics, this work had the objective of understanding and explaining, methodologically based In geomorphological and morphometric interpretations, the heterogeneity of the modeling of the third-order sub-basins that make up the southern portion of the Peixe river basin. For the spatialization of the results of the calculations of the morphometric parameters, thematic maps were generated that aided in the comparative interpretations. After analyzing the results it was possible to conclude that the singularities found to the north and west of the southern portion of the catchment area of ​​the Peixe River may be related to the lithological and altimetric variation.

O artigo teve como objetivo analisar a estrutura espacial de imóveis rurais e dos sistemas agroflorestais (SAF) que os compõem, na paisagem rural de Terra Nova do Norte (MT). A área de estudo correspondeu a 202 imóveis rurais que implantaram, entre os anos de 2010 e 2016, 659 SAF em suas áreas, 90,52% deles com objetivo de restauração. Como medidas da estrutura espacial, foram utilizadas métricas de paisagem sobre área e forma dos imóveis e dos SAF. Os resultados apontam que todos imóveis são de agricultura familiar, com área média de 55,85 ha, formatos retangulares (média do índice de forma de: 1,75) e concentrados no entorno da área urbana. Os SAF apresentaram, em sua maioria, áreas pequenas com área média de: 0,43 ha e formatos variados (média do índice de forma de: 2,28), de acordo com seus objetivos na propriedade (SAF de produção e SAF de restauração de áreas de preservação permanente no entorno de cursos d’água e nascentes). Os SAF ainda não representam uma área significativa nos imóveis analisados (2,49% da área total dos imóveis), mas se mostram como uma alternativa viável para iniciar o processo de restauração de áreas protegidas e para a diversificação da matriz produtiva, reintroduzindo o componente arbóreo na paisagem em um cenário pós-desmatamento.
