On March 2 and 16, 2023, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova adopted the project regarding the replacement of the name “Moldovan language” with “Romanian language” as the official language. The im portance of this decision was commented on by politicians, analysts, writers, linguists, and state institutions. At the same time, however, it provoked criticism and protests from the parliamentary opposition and reverberated in the official circles of the Russian Federation. The materials published in Izvestia reveal all commentators’ concern in relation to the great danger in adopting the name of Romanian language. They fear that Moldova, as an independent state, will lose its sovereignty and will be united with Romania. The publication is an example of how the language problem has been politicised.

In the digital age, technological developments have emerged, which have prompted researchers and education practitioners to readapt to the new digital context. Research in university pedagogy has been extensive, with the aim of inserting this new digital culture into recent reforms. Computer systems accompanied by technological devices have been put into effect in order to demonstrate pedagogical innovation through the use of pioneering educational practices. According to the strategic framework of the European Education Area, the Member States of the European Union must set new objectives based not only on the strengthening of the means of strategic cooperation and synergies, in particular the European Research Area and the Bologna Process, but also on the setting of objectives and indicators of progress towards the achievement of the European Education Area. While taking into account the renewal of the university context in terms of education and training in the European area, it would be interesting to focus on the essential contribution of the Francophone University Agency (AUF) in the renewal of university pedagogy and training. Then digital pedagogical innovation (DPI) is carried out through networks and online computer systems. Finally, given the internationalization and digitalization of education, innovative pedagogical practices have emerged in the higher cycle. The implementation of learning management systems, whether in a blended learning model environment or in an open and distance learning environment, plays an essential role at the personal level in the development of learning strategies, but also at the collective level in the cultivation of professional competences.

La colección Colihue Clásica emerge como respuesta a la crisis política y económica de principios de los 2000, presentando una propuesta editorial que destaca retraducciones de clásicos literarios y filosóficos universales, realizadas por especialistas universitarios del ámbito nacional y regional. Esta serie se acompaña de paratextos exhaustivos que, en algunos casos, incluyen una Nota de traducción. A partir del análisis de los testimonios de los editores de la colección, de la figura de los/as traductores/as y de la presencia o ausencia de Notas de traducción, el artículo pretende abordar las llamadas fuentes “extratextuales” a las traducciones para preguntarse en qué consiste el “giro académico” en la traducción que plantea su editor y si este reúne de hecho una perspectiva en común entre los/as traductores/as académicos/as de la colección Colihue Clásica. En principio, estas Notas de traducción permiten advertir la existencia de distintas perspectivas más o menos dóxicas en relación a la traducción que proveen una visión privilegiada de las representaciones sobre la traducción ligadas a los medios universitarios nacionales.

Este artigo discute os processos de legitimação do telejornalismo brasileiro a partir da identificação e análise de estratégias discursivas acionadas pelo Jornal Nacional, exibido pela Rede Globo. Tendo como objetivo investigar como os acontecimentos reportados pelo telejornal incidem sobre as estratégias discursivas de legitimação desenvolvidas nas coberturas, três acontecimentos jornalísticos foram selecionados para análise: rompimento de barragens em Brumadinho, aumento de queimadas na Amazônia e pandemia de covid-19. A investigação tem como base teórico-metodológica a análise do discurso em três níveis – situacional, discursivo e semiolinguístico, – proposta por Charaudeau. As principais estratégias discursivas de legitimação identificadas foram autorreferencialidade, apropriação de conteúdos amadores, instantaneidade e didaticidade, sendo sua operacionalização influenciada pela complexidade do nível situacional de cada acontecimento, entendido como um espaço de coerções.

Currently, there is great interest in incorporating the use of Artificial Intelligence with ChatGPT version 3.5 (AI) into day-to-day school academic work. It has been used, for example, in the search for information, in the processing of large volumes of data to carry out tests and calculations. We report here, however, some risks when exploring several topics that involve classic problems, an invaluable source of educational resources for the classroom. Based on this, we propose a non-exhaustive list of considerations for classroom work in schools and undergraduate courses with this computing resource, as well as some development routes for the improvement of AI.

The article introduces a monographic section on to the theme of the complex intertwining of wars, gender and health in the experience of asylum seekers and refugees, starting from some ideas that emerged in a dedicated thematic session carried out as part of the 4th National Congress of the Italian Society of Medical Anthropology (SIAM). In the text, after having underlined the importance of an anthropological analysis of contemporary wars, the author focuses, according to a critical and gender perspective, and starting from the discussion on the ethnographies that make up the monograph, on the problems, including those of health, of people fleeing war conflicts and violence, wounded in the body and traumatized, on which global welfare policies are exercised, with a specific focus on women.

The dossier on biblical anthroponyms in secular contexts offers an in-depth exploration of how biblical names transcend their religious origins to become integral elements of various cultural and linguistic landscapes. Through an interdisciplinary approach encompassing onomastics, socio-pragmatics, and cultural studies, the reviewed articles collectively underscore the enduring relevance and adaptability of biblical names. The studies reveal that these names have been integrated into everyday language and cultural practices, reflecting broader sociopolitical and cultural shifts. In Cuba, the persistence and adaptation of names like José, Juan, Pedro, and Rafael highlight their significance in shaping cultural identities amidst historical changes. Similarly, in Algeria and Israel, the phonetic adaptations and symbolic meanings of biblical names illustrate the complex interplay between historical, cultural, and religious influences. The studies on Mexico and Ukraine further emphasize the role of these names as markers of cultural continuity and identity, transcending their original religious connotations. Despite the comprehensive insights provided, several limitations were identified across the reviewed articles. Geographically, many studies focus on specific regions, limiting the generalizability of their findings. Temporally, the narrow scope of some studies based on specific periods may not capture long-term trends. There is a notable gender imbalance with a greater focus on male names, potentially overlooking gender-specific trends. An over-reliance on specific theoretical frameworks and secondary data sources may introduce biases, limiting the consideration of other perspectives. To address these gaps, future research should expand geographic and temporal scopes, ensuring a more comprehensive understanding of naming practices. Diversifying theoretical frameworks and incorporating comparative studies with other cultural contexts will offer broader insights. Detailed phonetic and pragmatic analyses, along with the use of visual aids, will enhance accessibility and richness of findings. Lastly, discussing the broader implications of these findings for other languages and cultural contexts will enhance the relevance and impact of the research. This comprehensive approach will enrich the field of onomastics and contribute to a deeper understanding of the dynamic interplay between religious heritage and secular adaptation of biblical names.

Cette étude a consisté à estimer la biomasse épigée, le stock de carbone séquestré par le peuplement à Terminalia superba dans la Réserve de Biosphère de Luki , Province du Kongo Central en R.D.Congo. L’objectif général permet d’inventorier les individus de Terminalia superba afin de déterminer la biomasse et de déduire le stock de carbone emmagasiné dans leurs tissus ligneux. Les objectifs spécifiques sont les suivants : (i) inventorier les individus de Terminalia surperba dans l’aire d’étude ; (ii) déterminer la densité de Terminalia superba dans la réserve de Biosphère de Luki ; (iii) évaluer la biomasse et le stock de carbone séquestré dans les tissus des plantes. Les observations et les équations allométriques sont les approches méthodologiques déployées pour obtenir les résultats. Le dispositif d’inventaire couvre une superficie de 3,25 hectares subdivisé en 49 placettes de 25 m x 25 m soit 625 m2 chacune. Les mesures de circonférence ont été effectuées sur les individus dont le diamètre est supérieur ou égal à 10 cm à 1,30 de hauteur de poitrine. Les données enregistrées ont été traitées à l’aide de test statistique en appliquant l’analyse de variance et le test de corrélation de Pearson. Les principaux résultats obtenus révèlent 37 espèces appartenant à 18 familles et 33 genres. Le site renferme 269 individus dont Terminalia superba compte 119 arbres. Les mesures de la production de la biomasse épigée totale donnent 824,68 ± 0,008 t/3,25ha ; 387,60 ± 0,007 t/3,25ha de carbone et 1.305,05 ± 0,002 t/3,25ha d’équivalent carbone. Terminalia superba à elle seule compte 573,27 t/3,25ha de biomasse épigée ; 269,44 ± 0,007 t/3,25ha de carbone et 907,20 ± 0,02 t/3,25ha d’équivalent carbone. Ainsi, cette essence forestière joue un rôle écologique, économique et environnemental évident.

Electrical discharge machining is a non-conventional technology widely used to meet the rigors of industrial requirements imposed by the processing of emerging and advanced materials (e.g., geometrical complexity, high dimensional accuracy, and high surface quality). The electrode is one of the most important factors affecting the process performance in terms of production efficiency and machined surface quality. The aim of the current study is to analyze the influence of the electrode material (i.e., copper, tungsten, and brass) on the performance of electrical discharge machining of a C120 die tool steel, quantified by material removal rate, tool wear rate, and electrode wear ratio. The obtained results were statistically processed using the analysis of variance method, to identify the action model of the process control parameters in the perspective of obtaining superior productivity with minimal electrode wear.

The alliance between neuroscience and education promotes better analysis of the learning process and enriching teaching practices to make it more dynamic and effective. On the one hand, cognitive neuroscience is concerned with our behavior and eventually our memory as well as the acquisition of our knowledge and reflexes according to four factors (attention, active engagement, feedback, consolidation), which determine the speed and facility of learning (Dehaene, 2012). On the other hand, emotional neuroscience studies the interactions between the heart and reason, moving towards a new neurobiology of feeling and social behavior (Damasio, 2017). With the increasing digitization of the educational context in the postpandemic era, it would be essential to consider, on the one hand, to what extent the implementation of new communication and collaboration tools makes it possible to condition our perception and stimulate memorization. On the other hand, we can get a look at social cognition in online interactions without neglecting the influence exerted by technological tools not only on the way of thinking but also on our mental balance. Finally, it is important to take a look at the future of computational neuroscience and Artificial Intelligence such as the Chatbot Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (ChatGPT) and even the Cerebro project, an innovative method for imaging brain activity with a view to linking neuroscience (for understanding the brain) and concrete strategies (for helping to learn) (Brault Foisy L.-M., Masson S., 2022, https://doi.org/10.26034/cortica.2022.1956).

The taxa included in Subtribus Sphodrina (Tribus Sphodrini) were very rarely mentioned in articles or faunal catalogues published for the Romanian fauna, some of them being recorded in underground environments (natural or artificial cavities). Other taxa were erroneously recorded for the Romanian fauna (Laemostenus capitaus, L. janthinus coeruleus), and others were omitted to be cited for the Romanian fauna (Taphoxenus gigas) in recent faunal catalogues. The presence of other species, which must be confirmed for the Romanian fauna (Laemostenus janthinus), or recorded in new geographical regions (L. janthinus, L. euxinicus) is discussed. In this article we made a brief analysis of the Romanian Sphodrinae fauna in a zoogeographical context, trying to highlight the systematic, faunal and protection problems raised by this interesting taxonomic group.

Pentru a analiza modul în care pacienții internați percep propria lor siguranță, au fost analizate datele unui sondaj realizat cu ajutorul unui chestionar special dezvoltat. A fost efectuată o analiză detaliată a componentelor structurale ale satisfacției pacienților, identificând domeniile potențiale în care se poate îmbunătăți securitatea pacienților, inclusiv respectarea protocoalelor de siguranță și implicarea activă a pacienților în luarea deciziilor de tratament. Rezultatele obținute subliniază complexitatea și multilateralitatea problemei securității pacienților spitalizați și indică necesitatea unei abordări complexe și țintite pentru îmbunătățirea acestei arii importante de practică medicală.

Articolul propune o analiză detaliată a percepției pe care o au medicii cu privire la erorile lor profesionale. Datele au fost colectate printr-un sondaj de opinie desfășurat printre medici. Articolul examinează factorii care contribuie la erorile medicale și modalitățile de a le reduce, punând accent pe îmbunătățirea sistemelor de raportare și creșterea conștientizării acestor probleme în cadrul comunității medicale.

O capitalismo tem passado por mudanças que alteraram a base material e os mecanismos de controle do trabalho, fenômeno que tem sido denominado nova morfologia do trabalho. Seus reflexos no campo da arquitetura têm recebido pouca atenção do meio acadêmico. Frente a essa lacuna, a presente pesquisa questionou: que traços dessa nova morfologia se manifestam no cotidiano laboral dos jovens arquitetos? Para respondê-la, foram entrevistados 30 jovens arquitetos. A estrutura de análise das respostas foi construída a partir de cinco atributos: flexibilidade, informalidade, captura da subjetividade, impacto na saúde mental e desorganização de classe. Os resultados sugerem a penetração desses atributos no cotidiano laboral dos profissionais que, se não surgiram no atual contexto, encontraram nele terreno fértil para se expandir e justificar. Reconhecemos, entretanto, a existência de formas menos puras (ou híbridas) dessa nova morfologia entre os profissionais entrevistados.

During the last two archaeological campaigns (2021-2022) we worked in the central area of the large fort at Băneasa. As we expected, the trenches have intersected the defensive ditch of the second phase of the fort (it shrank at less than half of the original surface), and the new gate of the eastern precinct. The two phases are similar in many respects, as the shape and the size of the ditch, the almost flat rampart, the undersized palisade, as well as that unique tower-gate, with no analogies for the first half of the third century. There are also some differences; for instance, the end of this fortification seems rather pacific, as rendered by both the stratigraphic rendition and the short list of findings. There is still some news, as the discovery of stamped tiles, which is a first for this frontier – Limes Transalutanus – all across the plain, south of Pitești City. Unfortunately, those tiles were brought from Slăveni (the largest fort from southern Romania, located 39 km west-northwest of Băneasa, beyond Olt River) therefore we still do not know the name of the military unit garrisoned at Băneasa. The comparison made for the pottery of the two phases does not show relevant differences, but the chronological gap is not greater than two decades.

Radiocarbon dating by AMS accelerated ion mass spectrometry method, used from 2012 at IFIN-HH-Măgurele, offered recently the scientific frame for an interdisciplinary approach, from archaeologic and archaeometric perspectives, applied to wood samples. The first AMS results, issued in 2021 on six samples from Măguricea Branului archaeological site, have suggested a chronology around the 13th century AD, the differences being explained on terms detailed in this paper. The latter four samples, collected in the next archaeological campaign, gave very different dates. The difficulties experienced with these four samples driven us to develop new lab treatment, aiming carbonization of wood. Even so, the samples from 2022 could not be dated in a helpful manner, with parameters as terminus post quem, time-width, apparent ages. The paper could be of interest to archaeologists taking wood samples for AMS dating.

Cette recherche a pour objectif de décrire le profil des acheteurs (consommateurs) kinois des produits d’entretien (produits d’hygiène corporelle, produits cosmétiques et de beauté) à partir de leurs caractéristiques sociodémographiques. Pour atteindre cet objectif, une étude quantitative a été réalisée auprès d’un échantillon des visiteurs des GMS (supermarchés, superettes et boutiques spécialisées), où sont vendus ces produits. Les données collectées, auprès d’un échantillon de 1.389 consommateurs, ont permis de réaliser une analyse factorielle des correspondances de cette clientèle et une régression logistique pour tester et valider les hypothèses de recherche. Il ressort de l’étude empirique que quatre facteurs sociodémographiques ont une pondération importante pour décrire le profil des personnes qui ont été interrogées. Il s’agit des variables caractéristiques socioéconomiques et démographiques suivantes : le niveau de revenu, la catégorie socioprofessionnelle, l’âge et le niveau d’instruction. A partir de ces résultats, il apparaît nécessaire pour les gestionnaires des enseignes de distribution dans la ville de Kinshasa d’intégrer ces caractéristiques dans leurs stratégies de segmentation pour un ciblage affiné de leur clientèle potentielle sur ce segment de marché.

El artículo analiza el proceso de conquista de las legislaciones afirmativas en Costa Rica, como la Ley de Promoción de la Igualdad Social de la Mujer (1990), la cuota mínima del 40% de representación política de las mujeres (1996) y la paridad (2009). También establece el impacto que tuvieron estas reformas en la representación de las mujeres en el congreso durante el período de 1990-2022. Se argumenta que estas legislaciones fueron el resultado de un contexto negociación y de lucha político electoral, en el cual tuvieron un papel decisivo los movimientos de mujeres y feministas, las convenciones sobre los derechos de las mujeres y una institucionalidad especializada en asuntos femeninos.

El código del 1917 truncó el desarrollo de los «nuevos institutos» de votos simples con superiora general. El Methodus del 1854 había legalizado esta «nueva forma» de vida religiosa femenina, germinada en los «viejos institutos» de votos simples, los beaterios, que sólo fueron tolerados. Entre los años 1854 y 1900 los «nuevos institutos» femeninos definieron su identidad y en judicial contraste con algunos diocesanos, celosos de su propia autoridad. El artículo propone el alegato del Dr. Mora, futuro arzobispo de México (1908-1928), en la causa Concepción Calderón, religiosa Guadalupana, condenada por el ordinario zamorano, Mons. Cázares, año 1882. Tema local mexicano que engrosa la general historia jurídica de los «nuevos institutos» de votos simples. Los temas debatidos lo serán también durante la Reforma de las Normas de los «nuevos institutos» (1912-1917) y la Codificación del código del 1917. El alegato del Dr. Mora manifiesta la calidad de la formación, que recibían los seminaristas mexicanos en Roma.

El Ius tridentinum protegió la vida teológico-jurídica de la Santa Romana Iglesia (1563-1917). Tres variaciones modularon su tema: el derecho canónico común en el territorio católico europeo (su exemplar), el derecho canónico indiano en el territorio de las Indias occidentales y orientales, Patrono, el rey de Castilla (1492-1830, s. xviii, reino de España), y el derecho canónico misionero en el territorio europeo de los novatori, oriental a-católico y pagano, gobierno de la S.C. de Propaganda Fide, 1622; de los católicos orientales también. Se cotejan las tres Variaciones, adjetivando su eclesiología: aedificio Dei, sus legisladores: ferre leges, sus misioneros: personae, la geograficidad de su derecho: de locis, y su elaboración jurídica: scientia canonica; distinciones propedéuticas para mejor saber el Ius tridentinum.

The HiLands Project (2018-2022) brought the opportunity to investigate several main communication corridors within the Curvature Carpathians. At the northern end of Rucăr-Bran Pass we had a great surprise, finding in the woods three strongholds, just one kilometre west of Bran Castle. Several trips on the mountain and two short digging sessions uncovered two hillforts made by the Teutonic Order, and a third one, shortly after they left. Hidden in dense forests, they have been deserted and forgotten, not being recorded in any historical accounts. The two western strongholds are enclosed by a common outer palisade, as they were built and used together. They are rather small, each with two rows of palisades, separated by a large ditch. The eastern one firstly served as a chalk quarry for the above-mentioned buildings, but two or three generations later was turned into a fortification. The northern long side is made up by a bare cliff, almost vertical, the southern side is closed by a large palisade, with no ditch (as it was not necessary due to the strong slopes). The downside of our research is the almost complete lack of artefacts from the 13th century, the proposed chronology being based exclusively on C14 AMS technology. Such a situation fuelled the question whether the western complex could be one of the five attested Teutonic fortresses. Its position is outstanding, offering perfect visibility up to the Bran Pass (10 km southward) or down to the Râşnov fortress (12 km northward).

In the socio-professional but also educational context, hybrid communication has exploded and has exerted a strong influence on our psychic but still physical life. In this sense, cybernetics makes it possible to exploit the mechanism of control and interaction in people in continuous motion. With the integration of digital media in all circumstances of human life, the exchange of digital data is continuously spreading without neglecting that these new modes of communication and collaboration can also condition our sensations but also our behavior by exerting an influence on our perceptions and thoughts but also on our mental state. On the other hand, human capacities linked to psychomotor factors make it possible to cultivate critical thinking, a sense of responsibility and cooperation. Yet, the risk of disruption could lead to a break with psychomotor investment. Ultimately, it is necessary to take into account social cognition and the role of memory in online interactions and learning techniques with the recourse of computer systems because the memorization of lived facts becomes profound if one experiences each situation in a state of strong emotion.

According to the 2021 Road Safety Bulletin, the risk category for road traffic fatalities is defined by drivers in their 20s. As they get older and gain experience, young drivers cause fewer serious road accidents. Statistics also show that almost 1 million licensed drivers are over the age of 71. With 98% of road accidents linked to human error, the widespread use of autonomous cars with level 5 technology is expected to help meet the EU's target of approaching 0 deaths by 2050. This research examines three aspects that can increase the acceptance of fully automated cars, namely age, inability to drive a car and time spent in traffic.

After an introduction to FRA Project NORISC-19 on Third Sector in Campania, the authors illustrate some aspects of the anthropological methodology used in a part of it, then focusing on the analysis of the materials from 21 interviews with representatives of associations in the 5 provincies of Naples, Caserta, Salerno, Avellino and Benevento. The themes analyzed in an anthropological perspective, showing old problems and new opportunities, concern collaborative networks with institutions and other associations and the impact of exogenous events such as the Third Sector Reform and the Covid-19 pandemic. The discussed results also allow reflecting on the potential of an anthropological approach to the study of these contemporary issues within an original mixed methods perspective, which, in NORISC-19, combines and integrates multiple disciplinary fields.

Neste artigo apresentamos resultados de um estudo que incidiu nas perceções de professores sobre a recuperação das aprendizagens não realizadas durante a pandemia. Tratou-se de um estudo quantitativo, de natureza extensiva, com recurso a um inquérito por questionário online, ao qual responderam 2.192 educadores e professores de todos os níveis de ensino. O projeto de investigação, mais amplo, procurou analisar o ensino durante a pandemia, incluindo os dois momentos de confinamento e o regresso às escolas com medidas sanitárias bem como o seu impacto nas aprendizagens dos alunos. Os participantes admitem que houve aprendizagens perdidas durante a pandemia, afetando sobretudo os estudantes em contextos socioeconómicos mais desfavoráveis. Os resultados evidenciam ainda a ausência de um dispositivo explícito de acompanhamento e monitorização e um regime de uma certa anomia, registando-se uma discrepância entre a adesão e a implementação das medidas de recuperação das aprendizagens. Além disso, não obstante a amplitude das medidas tomadas, não há uma inscrição clara nos projetos educativos das escolas, o que se traduz numa visão de curto prazo e com uma intencionalidade difusa.

(Series Information) European Papers - A Journal on Law and Integration, 2023 8(1), 1-8 | European Forum Highlight of 28 March 2023 | (Abstract) When exactly can an impediment to effective competition be considered "significant" enough, if caused by a horizontal merger that gives rise to unilateral effects absent dominance, and what standard of proof does the Commission have to satisfy? Commission v CK Telecoms represents the first occasion for the European Court of Justice to elaborate on these questions. As the case is still pending, this Article discusses the significance of the latest legal guidance provided by the Opinion of Advocate General Kokott. This Article suggests that the Opinion is a return to well-established principles after the Court's judgment in Impala II, and provides a soundly reasoned critique of the decision of the General Court, directing special attention to the heightened standard of proof and the substantive criteria proposed for distinguishing significant from "insignificant" effects. Moreover, the Opinion contains a restatement of the doctrine of marginal review and thus constitutes an active effort to maintain the legal status quo.

Ionel Grigorie Gr. Tabacaru was born on 12 September 1932 in Cernăuţi (present day Chernivtsi, Ukraine). His father, Grigorie A. Tabacaru was an ophthalmologist and the chief medic of Cernăuţi while his mother, Eliza Manug Tabacaru had musical studies and was active in the Ciprian Porumbescu (Suceava) and Armonia (Cernăuţi) societies. Ionel Tabacaru had a sole brother, Dimitrie Tabacaru, professor at the George Enescu Conservatoire and director of the Jassy Opera.

Beside 143 specialized (obligate) and other 85 non-obligate cave dwelling species of Coleoptera (also named troglobitic species), previously inventoried by us in the Romanian fauna, in this article we present a list of 156 of non-obligate cave dwelling species which occur in different associations in the Romanian caves, for the first time grouped on biospeleological provinces and zones. In the context of the new studies which showed that the “non-obligate” cave dwelling species do not occur randomly in the caves, but having a proved selectivity for caves, this study is focused on biogeographical aspects of non-specialized cave dwelling species.

Face à la brièveté de vie des produits locaux, observée dans de nombreux marchés des pays en développement, qui peinent à surmonter les contraintes commerciales et marketing (faible présence dans les commerces structurés, banalisation et un positionnement moins reluisant, attributs-produits peu attractifs, etc.) auxquelles ils sont confrontés, dès leur lancement, il est nécessaire que les promoteurs de ces types des produits puissent s’efforcer de lever ces contraintes sur base d’un levier important du mix-marketing, qu’est la distribution. Ce travail contribue à la valorisation des produits de terroir, grâce à leur intégration aux réseaux de distribution modernes dans ces pays. Une application dans le secteur pharmaceutique en RDC de cette voie de recherche sur la définition des modalités particulières du marketing des produits de terroir, a conduit à proposer la Distribution Directe Collaborative (la distribution DDC), comme un mode de commercialisation efficace des produits de terroir de catégorie d’achats réfléchis, en l’occurrence les produits antipaludiques à base des plantes (les APM).

The intensity of the language contact belongs to numerous sociodemographic variables that influence the language competence of preschool children. This study aimed to examine associations between 16 variables related to the language contact and German language competence of multilingual children. Four-year-old kindergarten children (N = 824) were examined with the language test “Kindersprachscreening” (KiSS.2; Holler-Zittlau/Euler/Neumann 2011). Correlations between children’s and their parents’ age of contact to German and children’s language competence were weak to moderate. The same is valid for the use of German at home. Weak German language skills of children speaking Turkish and Arabic were associated with their limited contact to German both in the family and beyond. Their German language competence depended predominantly on how often German was used at home. All other children acquired German predominantly in day care facilities. Therefore, their German language skills did not depend much on the language input in the family. To sum up, intensive language contact was, at best, moderately associated with age-appropriate German language skills. Significant differences in the command of the German language among largest ethnic or linguistic subgroups could be traced back to sociodemographic differences in the children’s and their families’ characteristics. Active use of German at home was more important for those immigrant subgroups that do not attend any day care facilities before kindergarten age.

The influence that English exerts on different languages has been widely examined. Particularly, many studies that have brought the classification of Anglicisms according to thematic fields into focus have shown that, in relation to various languages and varieties, sports is the area in which Anglicisms seem to appear most frequently (Seidel 2010, Andersen 2011). Considering Spanish, when introducing English names of sports, the two main choices are either to adopt/adapt these foreign names or to calque them into the recipient language. This paper aims to clarify which of these two options has been the most successful one and whether diatopic variation plays a part in this respect. To fulfil this goal, a series of equivalent pairs and their variants are looked up in CORPES XXI, and the statistics provided by this corpus in relation to geographical distribution are analysed. Results show that diatopic variation affects disparity in the frequency of use of the different forms of English ball sports names in Spanish.

The forest ecosystems of the Democratic Republic of Congo are prone to deforestation, highlighting fragmented and anthropized landscapes. The INERA Kiyaka forest station is not spared. This regression of plant cover is dependent on human activity. The cartographic and quantitative analysis by remote sensing of the dynamics of land use was carried out in order to highlight the essential factor of the deforestation of the vegetation cover between human pressure and climatic parameters. The classification by object with the supervised approach of Sentinel 2Landsat and Spot images made it possible to characterize land cover in three periods (2000, 2010 and 2020). We have selected six classes of land cover according to the realities on the ground: mature secondary forest, young secondary forest, savannah, agricultural and anthropogenic zone, water and palm grove. The analysis of the fragmentation of the landscape was done by comparing the results of the classification of satellite images of the years under study. The cartographic and quantitative analysis reveals a regressive dynamic of the forest formations (secondary forest) and the palm grove in favor of the savannah, agricultural and anthropic zone. The high percentages of regression are observed between 2010 and 2020. This study reveals that since 2000, the forest cover of the Kiyaka forest station has undergone a transformation of its landscape due to human activities supported by population growth.

Latin aphorisms and expressions constitute a form of human didactics. The present article is about Latin idiomaticity related to the didactics of Romanian as a foreign language. Teaching-learning lessons of the Romanian language and medical terminology, in alloglot classes, are important in the formation of a linguistic-terminological axis (which will ensure a later integration of the doctors in the socio-professional environment), but also of a respectful attitude towards the Romanian language. Deontological didactics (deontology is considered ‘the science of moral duties and obligations’) is based on the concepts of goodness and beauty, which are aesthetic categories that provide the basis for general human norms of behaviour and cultivate the qualities of bonhomie. These two aesthetic categories, goodness and beauty, are likely to be cultivated in the Romanian language teaching/learning classes, with Latin aphorisms and expressions as reference points. For example, the feelings of: respect - Pulchra res homo est si homo est/A human being is beautiful if he is human, etc.; tolerance - De gustibus et coloribus non disputandum/ Tastes and colours are not discussed/There is no accounting for taste(s); moderation - Si tacuisses, philosŏphus mansisses/Had you kept silent, you would have remained a philosopher, etc.; Medice, cura aegrotum, sednon morbum/Cure the man, not the disease - the aphorism emphasizes the personality of the patient, which matters for the doctor's attitude. Deontological didactics is fundamental in establishing interpersonal socio-professional relationships (firstly, doctor–patient). The knowledge of medicine, offered from a deontological perspective, projects the attitude of doctors both towards their future socio-professional status (as doctors) and towards the language.

Several years ago, within Limes Transalutanus Project (2014-2017), we dealt with several segments of the Roman limes in Teleorman County. Briefly, that meant aerial and terrestrial survey, geologic sampling and geophysics, in most of the cases. The old renditions of the frontier line, as being a rampart without a ditch, were intriguing and unusual, thus they had to be checked in the field, including by test digging. One spot chosen for a complex investigation was located several kilometres south of Roşiorii de Vede, along Mocanului Valley, where the most common traits of a Roman border (a tower, the frontier palisade and segments of the road) were present and relatively well preserved. The test excavation confirmed the fact that the frontier obstacle was made by a large palisade and the defensive ditch was missing. The Roman road has been also sectioned, having the expected width and bulgy shape, being made, however, entirely of clay, as the stone is absent in the plain. The watchtower is rather large, relatively far from the palisade, and had been strongly burned, as well as the palisade. Such objectives, located in a close range, illustrate the typical parts of a late frontier setup.

Ionel Grigorie Gr. Tabacaru was born on 12 September 1932 in Cernăuţi (present day Chernivtsi, Ukraine). His father, Grigorie A. Tabacaru was an ophthalmologist and the chief medic of Cernăuţi while his mother, Eliza Manug Tabacaru had musical studies and was active in the Ciprian Porumbescu (Suceava) and Armonia (Cernăuţi) societies. Ionel Tabacaru had a sole brother, Dimitrie Tabacaru, professor at the George Enescu Conservatoire and director of the Jassy Opera.

Beside 143 specialized (obligate) and other 85 non-obligate cave dwelling species of Coleoptera (also named troglobitic species), previously inventoried by us in the Romanian fauna, in this article we present a list of 156 of non-obligate cave dwelling species which occur in different associations in the Romanian caves, for the first time grouped on biospeleological provinces and zones. In the context of the new studies which showed that the “non-obligate” cave dwelling species do not occur randomly in the caves, but having a proved selectivity for caves, this study is focused on biogeographical aspects of non-specialized cave dwelling species.

This study is part of the Master’s degree dissertation of the Postgraduate Program in Science Teaching and Humanities, at the Federal University of Amazonas. The main objective of this research is to rebuild the proposal of the Agricultural Family School and Pedagogy of Alternation historically, in the French and Brazilian contexts, and it brings as an example its history at Guaporé Valley in Rondônia. The first experience of the Agricultural Family School took place in France (1935). In Brazil, the Agricultural Family School has origins in the Movement of Promotional Education Espírito Santo - MPEES. The Agricultural Family School, in Brazil, takes place through several initiatives that are influenced, specially, by the Basic Ecclesiastical Communities - BECs, linked to the Catholic Church, to the labor union movement of rural workers, carrying concepts from Paulo Freire’s theory, such as the desire to transform the reality in which we live in. The partial results of the research emphasize how much the Pedagogy of Alternation at Guaporé Valley was elaborated by local the rural people and it was concretized into a transformative education, in a region marked by the profit and exploitation of the western Amazon.
