Lullabies written by a known author are distinguished by returning to enunciative and semantic aspects of the folk genre and modify them, so even an author sitting in front of a white paper, no children in sight, will still keep in mind an utterance situation which belongs to functional poetry, and, therefore, has a very concrete object: to lull the child. Therefore, when addressing the representations of mother-child love implicit in works of this genre, it is productive to consider two theological correlates of this love, both described by John Paul II at Mulieris Dignitatem: one, the decisive relationship between Christ, the second person of the Trinity, and the Virgin Mary; the other, the mystery of the eternal «generating», intimate to God, and his biblical description by the means of the image of maternal love.Considering these main themes, the present article aims to analyze «Summertime», by George Gershwin (in his opera Porgy and Bess, which script was written by Ira Gershwin y DuBose Heyward, 1935) and «Regalitos», a song by Juan Quintero (in Después de usted, Buenos Aires, 2013), to understand how Trinitarian hospitality and reciprocity leave their mark on the lullaby genre, resignifying the songs in contexts of pain.

A la luz de las obras literarias que a él se refieren, el tópico de la cristiana cautiva plantea diversos ejes de temáticos, vinculados muchas veces con la melancolía, el cruce de culturas y la consideración de la otredad. Este es el caso de la canción de cuna “Cuando yo era niña”, que se encuentra recopilada en dos antologías: una, de Francisco Rodríguez Marín (Cantos populares españoles, 1883) y otra, de Fernando Llorca (Lo que cantan los niños, 1931). En ella, la alternancia de las voces —pertenecientes a distintas culturas— que acunan al niño se ve traspasada por desplazamientos en el esquema enunciativo del género. Trastocando la finalidad y el alocutario de las nanas tradicionales, irrumpen en este canto nuevas formas discursivas: el relato autorreferencial, el requiebro, la expresión lírica de la emotividad, y la poesía folklórica religiosa. Estos elementos responden a un imaginario cultural ajeno al contexto del niño, y dan cuenta de la amplitud de dimensiones que deben considerarse a la hora de estudiar una nana. Desde esta visión integral de la canción de cuna como género folklórico, y mediante una teoría estructural y pragmática de la lírica, el presente trabajo se propone analizar bajo qué formas pervive, en esta obra dialógica, el tópico medieval de la cristiana cautiva. Así se pondrá de manifiesto hasta qué punto esta pervivencia contribuye a la configuración de una voz lírica marcada por la experiencia del viaje, pero que, al mismo tiempo, no ha perdido la capacidad de transmitir su propia cultura.

Limitation and principle of legality in criminal matters according to the CJEU. - III. The Taricco II judgment. - IV. Implications: Italian Constitutional Court's judgment no. 269/17. - V. Conclusions. | (Abstract) The interaction between European sources and national provisions has increased the degree of uncertainty with regard to the nature of time limitation in criminal law in the Italian system. In this respect, in case M.A.S. and M.B (judgment of 5 december 2017, case C-42/17) the Grand Chamber of the CJEU answered the question referred for a preliminary ruling by the Italian Constitutional Court concerning the connection between the internal principle of legality in criminal matters and EU law. Afterwards, the Italian Constitutional Court replied, with judgment no. 269/17, by taking a stance over the primacy of EU law. In this Insight the issue of what kind of conflicts is at stake in the context of multilevel dialogue between supranational and constitutional courts will be considered, with special focus on the Italian Constitutional Court judgment no. 269/17. Particularly, in this judgment, the Italian Constitutional Court questioned the Court of Justice competence in interpreting the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and the constitutional traditions common to the Member States provided for by Art. 6, para. 3, TEU. Finally, the Author will introduce some new legal developments that could arise from this multilevel exchange of viewpoint and will further illustrate their relevance to the whole community.

13. Giuseppe Samonà historian of architecture: his relationship with Gustavo Giovannoni

The essay is intended to highlight the links between Samonà and the "Roman School", in part already analyzed in previous studies. In particular, we contextualize the six letters addressed to Gustavo Giovannoni between late 1929 and mid-1930, preserved in the Giovannoni Archive (Rome, Centro di Studi per la Storia dell’Architettura) and listed in full in the appendix. The letters are mainly related to the studies of Samonà on late Renaissance architecture in Sicily, conducted in 1927 at the suggestion of Ernesto Calandra, which would then be gathered into four essays published between 1932 and 1935, profoundly influenced by the historical-critical ‘giovannoniano’ method. The epistolary contacts with Giovannoni, as well as promoting cultural growth and the rise of the career of teaching, not well structured at the time, show his attempt to get closer to Rome. This is evidenced by repeated references in the letters to Alberto Calza Bini, who was to assist him in obtaining a position at the University of Naples and who, together with Giovannoni and Piacentini, ruled in favor of Samonà in design competitions in the thirties, especially for the Post Office building in the Appio neighborhood in Rome.

The complexity of the problem lies on the plurality of plant diseases involved and on the high environmental and economic impact of the conventional methods applied to comply the phytosanitary standards. By a critical point analysis, the study suggests the development of nursery strategies focused on the sanitary quality of the production and on its long-term environmental sustainability.

Background. The general objective of this thesis was to evaluate a hybrid pedagogical method using an integrated learning environment (ILE) in the training of health professionals. Three research questions followed one after the other. Does the acceptability of blended learning affect students' learning strategies and learning approaches? Does the acceptability of an ILE affect students' self-efficacy? What characteristics of a dematerialised course make students' attention variable?Materials & Methods. We carried out 2 quantitative observational studies, as well as a single-blind observational experiment coupled with a qualitative analysis, with different classes of midwifery students of Grenoble-Alpes University Faculty of Medicine.Results. Students have suited learning approaches and strategies despite the use of a hybrid teaching method which they reject; there is no correlation between poor acceptability of the ILE and different spheres of students' self-efficacy; and the variability of attention declared by students varies according to certain factors common to those detected by artificial intelligence (type of language, slide duration…).Discussion. The internal and external validities of this work highlight the close links between interest, motivation, engagement by identification, and attention. It is thus possible to put forward principles of pedagogical engineering in health within the framework of dematerialized courses focusing on the content, form and type of knowledge capsule. Finally, the health teacher must above all be “connected to” the students, so that technical developments can be adapted to their needs.; Contexte. L’objectif général de ce travail de thèse était d’évaluer une méthode pédagogique hybride utilisant un environnement informatique pour l’apprentissage humain (EIAH) dans le cadre de la formation des professionnels de santé. Trois questions de recherche se sont ainsi succédé. L’acceptabilité de l’apprentissage hybride influe-t-elle sur les stratégies et approches d’apprentissage des étudiants ? L’acceptabilité d’un EIAH influe-t-elle sur le sentiment d’auto-efficacité des étudiants ? Quelles caractéristiques d’un cours dématérialisé fait varier l’attention des étudiants ?Matériels & Méthodes. Deux études observationnelles quantitatives ont été réalisées, ainsi qu’une expérimentation observationnelle en simple insu couplée à une analyse qualitative, auprès de différentes promotions d’étudiants sages-femmes de l’UFR de Médecine de l’université Grenoble-Alpes.Résultats. Les étudiants ont des approches et stratégies d’apprentissage adaptées malgré l’utilisation d’une méthode pédagogique hybride qu’ils rejettent ; il n’existe pas de corrélation entre une mauvaise acceptabilité de l’EIAH et différentes sphères du sentiment d’auto-efficacité des étudiants ; enfin la variabilité d’attention déclarée par les étudiants varie selon certains facteurs communs à ceux détectés par une intelligence artificielle (type de langage, durée des diapositives…).Discussion. The article searches for an answer to these questions through the analysis of episodes representing women at the window in the Old Testament and in Greek and Latin literature.

This article is an exemplar of arts-based educational research that uses ekphrastic poetics as a vehicle for critically storytelling. Ekphrastic poetics is an art form dating back to Classical Greece that involves an act of poetic response to a visual form. Ekphrastic poetics is conceptualized as a curriculum and aesthetic text as poet Kelly Young responds to visual artist Mahshid Farhoudi-Di Marco’s series of paintings through interpretive practices. Interpretive practices involve building relationships with the visual forms through among other things, conditioned writing activities.

Interactions between jets and the quark-gluon plasma produced in heavy ion collisions are studied via the angular distributions of summed charged-particle transverse momenta (p T) with respect to both the leading and subleading jet axes in high-p T dijet events. The contributions of charged particles in different momentum ranges to the overall event p T balance are decomposed into short-range jet peaks and a long-range azimuthal asymmetry in charged-particle p T. The results for PbPb collisions are compared to those in pp collisions using data collected in 2011 and 2013, at collision energy sNN−−−−√=2.76 TeV with integrated luminosities of 166 μb−1 and 5.3 pb−1, respectively, by the CMS experiment at the LHC. Le droit pénal belge incrimine certains groupes délictueux, voire criminels. Il s'attaque à diverses formes de participation à ces groupement aux fins et/ou pratiques illégales. L'une d'entre elles a tout particulièrement retenu notre attention : la simple appartenance à ces groupes; ces incriminations qui ne requièrent pas la commission d'autres infractions que celle d'appartenir au groupe en cause, et qui ne sont composées que d'un élément moral. La simple appartenance est punie lorsqu'il s'agit d'être membre d'une association de malfaiteurs, d'un groupe raciste, d'une organisation criminelle ou d'un groupe terroriste. Ce mémoire est l'occasion de revenir sur chacune de ces infractions, de les étudier en profondeur et de les comparer. Ces quelques pages permettent également d'entendre les compliments et critiques qu'ont reçus ces infractions atypiques, et en définitive, de se forger son propre avis quant à leur opportunité. This essay focuses on the role of the renewable energy communities in the current energy transition of the European Union. The study analyses, firstly, the essential elements of the renewable energy communities, detecting the legal regulation of companies and technologies on which they are based. Secondly, it verifies the role of the renewable energy communities in the fulfillment of the European energy law obligations, focusing on the infrastructural reconversion and the involvement of public authorities, citizens and consumers. The importance of the renewable energy communities is illustrated, finally, by the Italian model of «cooperatives of community » ., Cet article s’interroge sur le rôle des communautés d’énergie renouvelable dans l’actuelle transition verte de l’Union européenne. Il analyse, tout d’abord, les éléments constitutifs des communautés d’énergie renouvelable, en relevant la réglementation des entreprises et des technologies sur lesquelles elles reposent. Among fungal infections of the nasal sinuses, allergic fungal rhinosinusitis is a recently described, relatively rare and little known pathology. Its diagnosis is based on: clinical criteria (it occurs in young immunocompetent patients, often associated with bilateral nasosinusal polyposis); pathological criteria (allergic mucin: eosinophilic mucus without invasion of the sinusal mucosa and observation of fungal hyphae on surgical samples); biological criteria (hypereosinophilia, total and specific antifungal IgE); and radiological criteria. The combination of tomodensitometry (heterogeneous hyperdense and diffuse filling of nasosinusal cavities with expanded borders and a distended appearance of the bony wall), and MRI scan (extensive character and lesional signal [hypo and asignal T1 and T2], and cerebriform aspect of the fungal process) strongly suggests the diagnosis. It is important to distinguish the most typical forms, as well as unusual forms of allergic fungal rhinosinusitis. Main differential diagnoses are represented by other forms of fungal nasosinusal infections with different treatment and prognosis.

Determine if the initiation of an anticholinergic treatment affects the sexual function in women diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS).It was a single-centre prospective open label study on 18 women affected by MS, with a clinical overactive bladder syndrome, and examined before and after anticholinergic treatment. Several variables were studied before and after treatment: the total anticholinergic load (Anticholinergic Drug Scale [ADS]), the Female Sexual Function Index, the Urinary Symptom Profile (USP) and functional status (EDSS, MIF). Quantitative variables were analyzed using Student's test.Eighteen women with an average age of 48.3 years old (±10.7 years), average EDSS of 4.6 (±1.5) were examined before and after anticholinergic treatment (solifenacin and trospium). Anticholinergic load at baseline was 0.33 (±0.5) and 3.44 (±0.70) after treatment (P0.0001). The initiation of an anticholinergic treatment allowed a significant improvement on the subscore OAB USP (10.25±4.3 to 6.22±3 P=0.01). No significant impacts of the anticholinergic load on the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) score (18.9±10.8 to 21.2±10.8 P=0.06) and sub-items lubrification (3.6±2.2 to 3.7±2.2 P=0.6), pain (3.6±2.5 to 4.2±2.3 P=0.4), desire (3±1.2 to 3±1.5 P=0.7), orgasm (2.7±2.1 to 3±2.4 P=0.4), satisfaction (3.9± to 4±2 p=0.9), arousal (2.9±2 to 3.3±1.8 P=0.8) was evidenced.In this limited series of "naive" patients with MS, no impact of anticholinergic therapy on vaginal lubrication or sexual quality was observed.4.

Current realities and future possibilities of imaging in the ischemic heart diseases are very broad and constantly evolving, with the improvement of existing technologies and the introduction of new features such as dual-energy CT, strain ultrasound, multimodality fusion or perfusion MRI. Regular collaboration between prescribing clinicians, cardiologists, radiologists and nuclear radiologists is therefore essential to tailor the examination to the specific clinical question. The indications for each modality will therefore depend on its diagnostic performance, cost, acquisition and post-processing times and eventual radiation exposure. This review will detail principles and applications of current cardiac imaging examinations: echocardiography, nuclear medicine, MRI, CT and coronary angiography, emphasizing their current strengths and weaknesses in the ischemic heart diseases management.

44. [Underestimated impact of antibiotic misuse in outpatient children]

The judicious prescription of antibiotics has become a central focus of professional and public-health measures to combat the spread of resistant organisms. It also seems important to consider the other impacts and determinants of antibiotic misuse.Evaluating the ambulatory antibiotic prescription for common infections in patients secondarily hospitalized as well as the consequences and determinants of this prescription.Study conducted over a period of 6 months between May and November 2008, during which 52 children aged between 3 months and 15 years, hospitalized in the pediatric hospital of Aix-en-Provence, were recruited. The reason for the pediatric emergency department visit was persistent symptoms or new symptoms over 48 h of ambulatory antibiotic prescription. The ambulatory antibiotic prescription was compared with current practice guidelines, and clinical progression after hospitalization was also analyzed. Afterwards, the determinants of this overprescription in ambulatory practice were investigated through a telephone questionnaire.Seventy-five percent of the antibiotic prescriptions were inappropriate, 60 % of which could potentially have been avoided with had an adequate and recommended practices been followed. Only 25 % of the children were prescribed ambulatory diagnostic exams, whereas these exams confirmed the diagnosis at the hospital for 71 % of them. In addition, 15 % of the children presented secondary effects of the antibiotics at their admission. Among practitioners, 84 % recognized having difficulties on reevaluation of the antibiotic prescription at 48 h. A high proportion of them (71 %) believe that antibiotics should be initiated precociously in patients with underlying conditions such as diabetes. Furthermore, 33 % recognized that the perceived parents' expectation could be a determinant of prescription. Otherwise, 22 % of them had attended an antibiotic prescription educational program during the past year.Antibiotic prescription for children's common infections remains a difficult decision for practitioners. This could partly be explained by atypical clinical symptoms and the risk of rapid progression in pediatric medicine. However, the rate of inappropriate prescription of antibiotics is high in this population. Among the main consequences of this practice, one may note the appearance of antibiotic resistance, the occurrence of side effects, and delayed diagnoses as well as preventable hospitalizations. Although certain considerations, such as the problems re-evaluating the patient after 48 h, must be taken into account, better use of paraclinical examinations in general practice could help to reduce inappropriate antibiotic prescriptions. Further large-scale, prospective studies should be conducted on the existing practices and beliefs concerning ambulatory antibiotic prescription in order to adjust prevention strategies.

The case concerns a 40 years old smoker male, treated for an adenocarcinoma of the left upper lobe, metastatic in muscle extended to the right femur cortex. The patient had first a surgical excision of the mass of the thigh, an intramedullary femoral nailing, and six courses of chemotherapy (cisplatin-vinorelbine) with concurrent thoracic radiotherapy. This treatment led to disease stability. One year later, hematuria revealed a bladder tumor. Cystoscopy with biopsy concluded to an adenocarcinoma pulmonary origin. The PET-scanner showed an uptake of the bladder mass, a hypermetabolic right adrenal gland and subcutaneous left shoulder nodule. The patient had a partial cystectomy associated with enterocystoplasty and left ureteral reimplantation, plus excision of the subcutaneous nodule located in the left shoulder and a right adrenalectomy during the same time. All of the sites were metastasis from adenocarcinoma of pulmonary origin. A salvage chemotherapy was initiated. In the vast majority of cases, bladder metastasis as primary bladder tumours is revealed by hematuria, cystitis or sometimes vague pelvic pain. Our case is a very unusual bladder metastatic site from lung cancer. We will discuss the different procedures and the therapeutic strategies on the basis of the published data.

Regional guideline for immediate tracheal suctioning (ITS) in vigorous and non-vigorous infants born through meconium-stained amniotic fluid (MSAF) has been established in 2003. The objective of this study was to evaluate guideline application.Prospective cohort.The first part of the study was a short survey about ITS practices in maternity hospitals then, management and early evolution of babies born through particulate MSAF was evaluated by questionnaire.Among 6761 neonates, 199 (3%) were born with MSAF. Early clinical evaluation showed 52 (26%) non-vigorous neonates; 22 of them (42%) have had an ITS. One hundred and forty-seven neonates were vigorous (74%); 27 of them (18%) have had an ITS. Implementation of recommendations in non-vigorous babies was better in maternities of level III, while they were lower in maternities of level IIA for vigorous babies. Among 52 non-vigorous children, eight had a meconium aspiration syndrome (MAS), including five who had an ITS. One MAS occurred in vigorous babies but infection could not be excluded.Recommendations for ITS were implemented in 70% of cases but only in 42% of cases in non-vigorous babies. We have to improve formation and circulation of new recommendations.

To evaluate the outcome of patients treated for soft tissue sarcoma using three different post-operative radiotherapy schedules.Between 1990 and 2003, 89 patients (median age 50.8 years) presenting with soft tissue sarcoma (located to the limbs for 66 of them) underwent post-conservative-surgery radiotherapy. Pathology was liposarcoma in 35 cases and 54 others tumors. Tumors grades (FNCLCC classification) were 1, 2, 3 or unknown in 29, 32, 19 and 9 cases, respectively. Surgery was considered as complete in 68 patients. Irradiation was normofractionated (NF) in 62 cases, hyperfractionated (BF) in 19 cases and hypofractionated (HF) in 8 cases. For all the patients, median delivered dose was 61 Gy [34-76 Gy].Median follow-up of alive patients was 73,8 months [3-184]. Five-year local control (LC) and overall survival (OS) rates were 85.5 and 71.2% respectively. According to multifactorial analysis, favourable prognostic factors were for local control, complete surgery (P=0.0075) and for overall survival, complete surgery (P=0.0267), grade 1 tumor (P=0.012) and absence of distant recurrence (P=0.0488). There was no statistical evidence of difference for the five-year LC and OS rates between the patients who received NF, BF or HF. There were few complications and there were comparable in the three groups.This retrospective serie showed similar results for all the schedules. There is no evidence to recommend bifractionation. Hypofractionation should be used only in selected patients with poor performans status.

Transcutaneous bilirubinometry is an effective screening tool for neonatal jaundice in full-term babies. But its accuracy is not shown yet in preterm infants.We carried out a prospective study in a neonatal intensive care unit. The study included 47 preterm infants. From birth, a transcutaneous bilirubin measurement (BTc) using the BiliCheck was made on the forehead of each newborn every 8 h. Blood sampling for determination of total serum bilirubin (BS) was combined with BTc: 1) if value of BTc was higher than limits values for phototherapy; 2) on the second day of life and 3) 4 hours after cessation of phototherapy.Mean gestational age was 30 week and mean birth weight was 1419 g. We studied 151 pairs of BTc and BS. Mean values obtained by BTc and BS were respectively 160.6+/-50 mumol/L and 190.6+/-61.4 mumol/L. A significant correlation between BTc and BS was found. But the limits of agreement were very wide. The negative predictive value (NPV) of BTc was above 90% in each group of gestational age.The need for phototherapy cannot be determined by BTc in preterm infants. But the BTc is reliable when its value is under the limits for phototherapy.With a very high incidence of neonatal jaundice (87%) in our cohort, a value of BTc under the limits for phototherapy has a good NPV in preterm infants.
