The paper examines the relations between the Antigonids and the Aiakids during the forty years after the death of Pyrrhos (272) until the fall of the Molossian monarchy in the late 230s. Alexander II and a few of his successors ruled in Epeiros at that time; Antigonos II Gonatas and his son Demetrios II reigned in Macedonia. The main concerns of this article are a supposed peace treaty between the Antigonids and the Aiakids in 272 (and who signed it from the Epeirote side), the military conflict between Alexander II and the Antigonids during the Chremonidean War, the recognition of the asylia of the Koan Asklepieion by Gonatas and Alexander II as well as by their subjects, and the marriage of Demetrios II to Phthia (its date, especially in the light of the Athenian decrees in honor of the grain-controllers, and the lengthy controversy concerning the identification of the mother of Philip V). Some other topics are also considered.

The article considers the specific poetry of one of the largest poets of Chile of the 20th century — Pablo de Rokha in relation to the poetry of his compatriot and contemporary Pablo Neruda. Both poets belonged to Latin American avant-garde aesthetics, both of whom enjoyed great fame and shared common ideological views, but were diametrically opposed in both human and artistic dimensions. Pablo Neruda was a great collector of things of the world; Pablo de Rokha (his pseudonym and the word “stone” sounds the same), unlike Neruda, who collected neither stones, nor any other elements of earthly existence. At the same time his poetry is filled with the smell of steppe herbs, smoke of night fires, it is very material. The difference between the two “materialistic” Pablos is that de Rokha is not only calling their names – he is busy with creating, naming, making of the new world. That is why his poetic material it is so heavy, rude, and rough – earthly, stony words that he unwinds without any concern for beauty and clarity. If Pablo Neruda poeticizes every spiritual movement, every random thought, however insignificant it may be, making them objects of artistic expression, de Rokha does not let his emotions pass through the aesthetic filter – they come from the gut and he turns them in his poetic material, rude and primitive. The main thing that distinguishes de Rokha from Neruda is de Rokha’s tragic worldview expressed in his poetic writing. A coеmparison of the two poets leads to the conclusion that Pablo Neruda and Pablo de Rokha are two opposite versions of the same type of creative personality, extremely similar in their dissimilarity.

Abstract This research examines contemporary Brazilian foreign policy, and its central concern is to explore how China’s global rise has impacted the general guidelines of Brazilian foreign policy from 2003 to 2018. We argue that China has had a double impact on Brazilian foreign policy: (i) restraining its scope due to the restrictive nature of Sino-Brazilian relations, primarily via commerce and political divergence, and (ii) enhancing Brazil’s autonomous insertion in the international system due to the structural gaps produced by Chinese diplomatic support in the global sphere and from the convergence of specific agendas. A case study on Sino-Brazilian relations is conducted with typologies on foreign policy actions elaborated by Schweller (1994). Then, we propose that Brazilian foreign policy, through the ‘bandwagoning for profit’ strategy, sought to interpret a Jackal position within the international system. Our variables are defined based on Ripsman, Taliaferro and Lobell (2016), considering the structural stimulus of China’s rise as the independent variable, the permissiveness, and clarity of the international system as the intervening variable, and the behaviour of Brazilian foreign policy as a dependent variable.

O presente artigo tem o objetivo de discutir as intersecções e distinções entre o Direito Penal e o Direito Administrativo Sancionador no contexto da legislação brasileira de combate à corrupção, especialmente a Lei nº 12.846/2013. Nesse tocante, visa analisar como esses ramos do direito se sobrepõem em termos de sanções aplicáveis por atos corruptivos, questionando a legitimidade e as implicações de tal sobreposiçãoA pesquisa recorrerá a uma revisão de literatura multidisciplinar sobre o tema, especialmente relacionadas ao Direito Penal e ao Direito Administrativo, demonstrando os limites e possibilidades dentro do sistema jurídico para garantir a eficácia da legislação anticorrupção sem comprometer os direitos fundamentais. O que se identifica é que apesar de operarem em esferas aparentemente distintas, há uma convergência significativa nas sanções aplicadas no âmbito das práticas corruptivas, o que pode levar a duplicidades ou inconsistências jurídicas. Portanto, a pretensão contributiva está na adequação da compreensão dos princípios legais que regem as sanções administrativas e penais, destacando a necessidade de uma interpretação coerente que evite contradições e reforce a eficâcia das medidas anticorrupção. Современная историография отмечает, что впервые термин «иго» применительно к зависимости Руси от Орды употребил в конце XV в. польский хронист Ян Длугош. В связи с тем, что современники владычества Орды над Русью не знали термина «иго татар» и эквивалентных ему понятий «татарское иго», «монголо-татарское иго», «ордынское иго», они признаются анахронизмами. Поскольку анахронизм – это ошибочное или условное приурочивание событий и черт одной эпохи к другой, использование его в отношении периода зависимости Руси от Орды выглядит не вполне корректно. В ходе исследования выявляются синхронные установлению системы зависимости Руси от Орды свидетельства об употреблении термина применительно к явлению. Широкий культурно-религиозный аспект осмысления изменившейся после завоевания монголов геополитической ситуации в Евразии позволяет утверждать, что концепция «вавилонского ига» была известна в католическом и православном мире. При этом все участники формулирования образа «вавилонского ига» – и католического, и православного мира – были прямо или опосредованно связаны между собой. В решении непростых церковных и межгосударственных отношений XIII столетия закономерно использовались сакральные библейские сюжеты и понятия. Вполне объяснимо, что в письменной традиции второй половины XIII в. обнаруживаются следы заимствования из Писания идеи «вавилонского плена» для приспособления ее к реалиям ордынского владычества, связанные с деятельностью митрополита Кирилла II, возглавлявшего Русскую церковь с 1240‑х гг. до 1280 г. В статье исследуется проблема происхождения термина «иго», делается вывод о рецепции данного понятия из библейской сакральной или древнеримской истории, ставится вопрос об адекватности этого термина для описания русско-ордынских отношений в указанный период. Автор приходит к выводу, что мнение об анахроничности термина опровергается имеющимися свидетельствами и позволяет в дальнейшем применять гносеологический потенциал понятия при рассмотрении истории русско-ордынских отношений в XIII–XV столетиях. Кроме того, выявляется механизм появления различной «латинизированной» терминологии в условиях международного дискурса взаимоотношений католической и православной церкви и языческого, а затем и мусульманского кочевого общества и государства.

O artigo explora as sinergias entre a gestão hídrica e o turismo por meio da análise de relações entre os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS). Com um Grupo Focal (GF), coletaram-se reflexões, discussões e interpretações profundas e singulares sobre as temáticas pesquisadas. Os dados coletados foram analisados aplicando a Análise Textual Discursiva. Assim, foram determinadas categorias de análise: (i) Dignidade, equidade e justiça, (ii) Sociobiodiversidade, (iii) Formação cidadã, e (iv) Produção econômica ambiental e socialmente sustentável. Tendo como base a gestão hídrica e o turismo, foram encontradas 170 relações entre os ODS. Dos 17 objetivos, seis apresentaram conexões com todos os demais ODS, sendo eles os ODS 3, 6, 8, 11, 13 e 17. Assim, a relação dialética entre a conservação hídrica e o desenvolvimento do turismo sustentável é um caminho oportuno para potencializar a Agenda 2030 e auxiliar na construção de sinergias para alcançar objetivos de forma integrada e transdisciplinar.

The aim of this paper is to analyse the concept of testimony and to promote reflections that support the understanding of this linguistic act through the lens of the concept of Zeitzeuge/Zeitzeugenschaft. Our analyses aim to observe how the value of the witness is constructed in the paratext of Ruth Klüger’s work weiter leben, from the German original and its paperback version (1992; 1997) to the later versions in French (1997), English (2001) and Portuguese (2005). In addition to drawing on the work of various scholars on the notion of testimony, this paper is based on the principles of dialogic discourse theory in conjunction with the category of paratext proposed by Genette (2009). Among other things, this study shows how discourse in the testimony is directly influenced by the valorisation of the role of the witness, which in the case analysed leads to different ways of reading the “same work”.

The present article proposes a new approach for the detailed analysis of lithic raw material sources and their use by various human groups during the period from the Lower Palaeolithic to the Early Upper Palaeolithic in Transcarpathia, western Ukraine. The approach is based upon the study of particular outcrops and sources of basic raw material types in Transcarpathia, examining their role in supplying various human groups across different Palaeolithic epochs and periods, both within and outside of the outcrop/source areas. Our analysis identified three localized volcanic-associated lithic raw material regions that demonstrate a ve ry limited ‘micro-region/source’ pattern of lithic exploitation. In contrast, more widely dispersed sedimentary regions with rock types that intermittently appear on the landscape show continuous use across most Transcarpathian areas and archaeological sites, including those located both at and far from outcrops/sources.

Este artigo investiga o papel das ideologias nos processos de resistência contra a precarização do trabalho realizado por motoristas de ônibus. A partir do referencial marxista e da Psicologia Histórico-Cultural, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com 11 trabalhadores dessa categoria na cidade de XXXX. Esses trabalhadores significam seus trabalhos como subsistência, realização pessoal, educação moral e liberdade patrimonial; compreendem o trabalho como precarizado, o Estado omisso no combate a precarização, se sentem empoderados e valorizados no exercício da sua atividade; e validam a instância sindical, a greve e os direitos trabalhistas, mas apostam em outras pessoas para a mudança da situação de precarização. Esses sentidos que permitiram a identificação de três ideologias, entendidas como mediação da ação individual e coletiva: ideologia do trabalho assalariado clássico; ideologia da luta coletiva; e ideologia salvacionista. Essas ideologias, que se interrelacionam, orientam os interlocutores de maneira contraditória. De um lado, justificam uma desresponsabilização dos trabalhadores pela ação direta de combate à precarização do trabalho. De outro lado, não impedem de todo a ação de resistência, como greves e paralisações, mas com um engajamento frágil por parte dos trabalhadores.

The paper discusses the works of African American writers of the end of the 1960s — the end of the 2010s that address the historical past of African Americans and explores the traumatic experience of slavery and its consequences. The tragedy of people subjected to slavery as well as their masters who challenged the moral and ethical norms has remained the topical issue of contemporary African American historical novel. Pivotal for the development of the genre of African American historical novel were Jubilee by the outstanding writer and poet Margaret Walker and the non-fiction novel Roots by Alex Haley. African American authors reconsider the past from today’s perspective making use of both the newly discovered documents and the peculiarities of contemporary literary techniques and showing a versatility of genre experiments, paying attention to the ambiguity of American consciousness in relation to the past. Toni Morrison combines the sacred and the profane, reality and magic while Ishmael Reed conjugates thematic topicality and a bright literary experiment connecting history with the problems of contemporary consumer society; Charles Johnson problematizes history in a philosophic tragicomedy. Edward P. Jones reconsiders the history of slavery in a broad context as his novel’s setting is across the whole country on a broad span of time. The younger generation of African American writers represented by C. Baker, A. Randall, C. Whitehead, J. Ward and other authors touches on the issues of African American history in order to understand whether the tragic past has finally been done with. Contemporary African American historical novel relies on documents, new facts, elements of fictional biography, traditions of slave narratives and in its range makes use of peculiarities of family saga, bildungsroman, political novel, popular novel enriching it with various elements of magic realism, parodying existing canons and sharp satire.

The article deals with the main ideas of the political philosophy of Abu Abdallah Ibn al-Azraq al-Garnati (1427-1491), a well-known Muslim statesman, supreme judge of Granada, lawyer, diplomat, supporter of Arab Muslim peripatetism, a student of the outstanding thinker of the Muslim Middle Ages Ibn Khaldun (1332-1406). In the history of the political philosophy of the Muslim East, a number of major transformations in the development of the Arab Caliphate from the Medina state of the prophet to the Sultanate in the Abbasid period should be noted, which were reflected in the development of the theory of the Arab-Muslim state (caliphate). The main problem of the theory of the caliphate was connected with the question of the relationship between power and authority in the context of the moral foundations of the state. The creative heritage of Ibn al-Azraq is mainly known for his work in the genre of adab ("mirrors of princes") “Miracles on the way, or the Nature of dominion”. The treatise became a classic of the political philosophy of the Muslim Middle Ages, in which, under the influence of Aristotelian ideas, a special place was given to the moral foundations of power and the state, that is, ethics was considered as a political science. In the form of instructive parables, the rulers and heirs to the throne were explained the basics of state administration as part of their studies and education. His doctrine of the virtues can be viewed as ethical rationalism with a belief in the moral perfection of people in power and subjects of the state. Since morals are largely acquired and a person can control them, the task of purifying his own morals and curing them is entrusted to him. In addition, accordingly, it is possible and necessary to cultivate virtues in rulers, since the well-being of the state and the ummah depends on their morals. The moral foundations of power determine the strength of political authority.

The prerequisites for the formation of innovative approaches to the development of the modern concept of economic diplomacy are formulated. The international experience of activating national projects in the field of economic diplomacy is described. Proposals are being formulated for the development of public-private partnership in the field of economic diplomacy.

The paper deals with the ethical principles of James Arthur Baldwin, an outstanding US writer of the mid-20th century, which echo the moral imperatives of Leo Tolstoy. African American writers traditionally displayed great interest in Russian literature, which is connected with the figure of A.S. Pushkin who along with A. Dumas was regarded as a symbol of talent of a person with African roots; visits to Soviet Russia of African American writers, especially of Langston Hughes who significantly influenced Baldwin’s worldview; and their search for creative ideas which they found in Russian literature, like Richard Wright, his mentor in literature. James Baldwin knew literature very well, including Russian literature, and through Martin Luther King, Jr., his friend and leader of the Civil Rights movement, was greatly affected by Tolstoy’s theory of non-resistance to evil, which he not only advocated but also tried to put into practice. The analysis of some of his works shows certain similarities with Leo Tolstoy. This is especially characteristic of his essays and the artistic world of his novels. The comparison of the great Russian writer’s views with the ideas of the most popular African American writer of the mid-20th century can help understand Leo Tolstoy’s role in forming the ideological platform of African American literature more deeply, and, on the other hand, get an insight into the creative laboratory of the writer who became a prophet for his generation whose voice was important for millions of his compatriots.

Environmental impact assessments for new Arctic infrastructure do not adequately consider the likely long-term cumulative effects of climate change and infrastructure to landforms and vegetation in areas with ice-rich permafrost, due in part to lack of long-term environmental studies that monitor changes after the infrastructure is built. This case study examines long-term (1949–2020) climate- and road-related changes in a network of ice-wedge polygons, Prudhoe Bay Oilfield, Alaska. We studied four trajectories of change along a heavily traveled road and a relatively remote site. During 20 years prior to the oilfield development, the climate and landscapes changed very little. During 50 years after development, climate-related changes included increased numbers of thermokarst ponds, changes to ice-wedge-polygon morphology, snow distribution, thaw depths, dominant vegetation types, and shrub abundance. Road dust strongly affected plant-community structure and composition, particularly small forbs, mosses, and lichens. Flooding increased permafrost degradation, polygon center-trough elevation contrasts, and vegetation productivity. It was not possible to isolate infrastructure impacts from climate impacts, but the combined datasets provide unique insights into the rate and extent of ecological disturbances associated with infrastructure-affected landscapes under decades of climate warming. We conclude with recommendations for future cumulative impact assessments in areas with ice-rich permafrost.

Este artigo tem como objetivo contribuir com a discussão acerca de um dos maiores fenômenos literários brasileiros do século XXI: o romance Torto Arado. A discussão acerca da qualidade da obra literária, no entanto, parece estar sendo pautada pela necessidade e pela pertinência temática. Os elogios à obra, pouco alicerçados na análise da construção literária, parecem ter criado um ambiente que interdita o debate acerca dos avanços e das fragilidades da elaboração poética da narrativa. Nesse sentido, abordamos alguns momentos da recepção do romance e fazemos uma proposta de leitura realista de algumas passagens do texto para tecer algumas considerações sobre determinados aspectos que podem ser considerados problemáticos ou inconsistentes na construção das três narradoras da referida obra.

A proteção, conservação, avaliação e monitoramento das fontes naturais de água constituem a base para a Gestão Integrada de Recursos Hídricos e o planejamento de bacias hidrográficas, sendo as nascentes fontes de água de especial importância pelos serviços ecossistêmicos prestados. A definição do termo nascentes na literatura cientifica se caracteriza pelas imprecisões e interpretações subjetivas. O termo nascente, por estar inserido nas legislações ambientais, precisa estruturar envolvendo as diferentes áreas de conhecimento que as estudam, pois do seu correto entendimento depende a aplicabilidade das penalidades legais estabelecidas nas normas ambientais. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi identificar e analisar a informação disponível na literatura acadêmico-científica, assim como em materiais/documentos não científicos, relacionada à temática de nascentes de cursos d’água, caracterizando as publicações e analisando as abordagens que atualmente direcionam as pesquisas sobre esse assunto. Para isso, foi desenvolvida uma Revisão Bibliográfica Sistemática (RBS) em três etapas: 1. planejamento da RBS; 2. processamento da pesquisa; e 3. resultados esperados. Essas etapas conformam o sistema Entrada-Processamento-Saída que pretendeu garantir a coerência dos dados coletados com os objetivos da revisão, a fim de identificar, descrever e analisar de forma simplificada e organizada a literatura científica sobre o assunto. Os artigos e documentos consultados foram sendo filtrados e posteriormente classificados de acordo com sua pertinência e relação com a temática, foram formuladas algumas categorias para agrupar as principais abordagens das pesquisas analisadas. No total, foram consultados 1.216 artigos e 960 materiais/documentos, sendo finalmente escolhidas 102 referências. Identificou-se que a categoria de monitoramento e avaliação físico-química e microbiológica da qualidade da água superficial foi a que teve maior número de resultados associados, mostrando que existe uma prioridade acadêmica em buscar formas de garantir o abastecimento humano de água, desconsiderando todas as funções ecológicas e ambientais que as nascentes possuem.

A Gestão Integrada de Recursos Hídricos (Girh) é uma abordagem amplamente aceita que requer estruturação técnica, política e institucional para sua implementação efetiva. Com o objetivo de identificar os principais desafios e as diretrizes para a gestão das águas no Brasil, foi conduzido um Painel de Especialistas. A opinião dos participantes revelou que a maioria dos problemas identificados obteve uma concordância igual ou superior a 70%. Entre esses desafios, a educação e a participação foram amplamente citadas pelos especialistas como questões centrais. Esses temas também foram apontados como fundamentais nas ações e diretrizes para superar os desafios na gestão dos recursos hídricos e para a efetiva implementação da Política Nacional de Recursos Hídricos.

En esta nota editorial se recogen los comentarios y propuestas de algunos editores y editoras, así como de expertos en el campo de la sociología de la ciencia, sobre la nueva propuesta de modelo de clasificación de revistas de Publindex. Se invita al lector a compartir las reflexiones, críticas y propuestas que genera la discusión de las políticas públicas sobre los modelos de medición, clasificación y jerarquización del trabajo académico en Colombia.

We studied processes of ice-wedge degradation and stabilization at three sites adjacent to road infrastructure in the Prudhoe Bay Oilfield, Alaska, USA. We examined climatic, environmental, and subsurface conditions and evaluated vulnerability of ice wedges to thermokarst in undisturbed and road-affected areas. Vulnerability of ice wedges strongly depends on the structure and thickness of soil layers above ice wedges, including the active, transient, and intermediate layers. In comparison with the undisturbed area, sites adjacent to the roads had smaller average thicknesses of the protective intermediate layer (4 cm vs. 9 cm), and this layer was absent above almost 60% of ice wedges (vs. ∼45% in undisturbed areas). Despite the strong influence of infrastructure, ice-wedge degradation is a reversible process. Deepening of troughs during ice-wedge degradation leads to a substantial increase in mean annual ground temperatures but not in thaw depths. Thus, stabilization of ice wedges in the areas of cold continuous permafrost can occur despite accumulation of snow and water in the troughs. Although thermokarst is usually more severe in flooded areas, higher plant productivity, more litter, and mineral material (including road dust) accumulating in the troughs contribute to formation of the intermediate layer, which protects ice wedges from further melting.

The research is motivated by observation data which shows the results of cultural analysis in the UMRAH environment. To respond to this, researchers conducted research aimed at increasing cultural understanding in the UMRAH environment. The method used is qualitative by distributing questionnaires and interviews. And from the results of the questionnaire it can be concluded that 56% of students understand and understand that knowledge of intercultural understanding and inclusiveness.

Climate change has a great impact on the agricultural industry as it has a direct impact on the production process of organizations, their business activities, operational and commercial performance. To date, this problem is becoming a global issue. Companies are striving to minimize the risks of climate change impact on operations by adopting new technologies. The increased global public attention in recent years - including from investors and regulators - on how businesses and capital markets are responding to climate change creates one of today's major challenges for professional accountants and auditors. They have a critical role to play in exactly how climate information will be disclosed in reporting in the future. The article suggests ways to improve the efficiency of implementing and reporting such information in business, examining real indicators of the level of implementation of climate change impact methods. It also proposes variables to be included in the analysis of APC companies' activities in the context of climate change.

The dynamics of fish aggregation density in the riverbed was studied using the hydroacoustic method during the intensive phase of the hydrological regime of the Irtysh River – the spring-summer flood. The dynamics of fish density with increasing water levels was recorded taking into account the analysis of average values of the indicator for decades periods of May in 2020 and 2021. During the flood period under study, the size of the share of taxonomic fish groups (cyprinids, percids, coregonids- esociids, unidentified) at the family level varied insignificantly, intensive dynamics were noted for the fish density indicator: Fish density decreased with increasing water level. The decrease in the number of fish in the riverbed is associated with their transition to the flooded floodplain of the river of the studied floodplain-channel complex. With a more powerful flood in 2020, the decrease in fish density in the riverbed occurs more intensively than with a less intensive rise in water level in 2021. The significance differences between decades were noted both for the indicator of the total fish density and for the density of taxonomic groups of fish.

The research was carried out in the Ob-Irtysh basin on the Irtysh River. The studied section of the river is located in Western Siberia in the Tyumen region. The dynamics of the downstream migration of burbot larvae were assessed in the period preceding the spring ice melting. In the river flow, using a stationary trawl, larvae were caught at equal intervals in the morning, afternoon and evening. The research period was 2 weeks (31.03.2023-14.04.2023). As a result of the research, it was established that there were 2 peaks of migration activity and density of burbot larvae in the periods 3.04-8.04 – the first and 10.04-12.04 – the second. The average density values in the specified periods were 0.066 and 0.034 ind./m3, with current speeds of 0.317 m/s and 0.450 m/s, respectively. The body length of the burbot larvae during the study period varied from 3.23 to 3.76 mm. Analysis of the dynamics during the migration period revealed a trend towards an increase in the body length of the larvae during the study period. Over the entire period of research, it was established that migration has a daily rhythm: it intensifies during the twilight period and slows down during the day.

The increase in the reliability of agricultural machinery is ensured by the efficiency of the machine repair and maintenance system and the engineering and technical service of the agro-industrial complex, which meets the requirements of progressive technologies for their support throughout the entire life cycle. The article presents the principles of development of the engineering and technical system for maintaining the reliability of agricultural machinery based on the use of digital technologies. It is noted that at present the engineering and technical system in the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation is characterized by insufficient efficiency due to the outdated organizational and managerial structure for the provision of technical services and the low level of technical readiness of agricultural machinery, which does not provide agricultural producers with the required level of its reliability. The proposed modern engineering and technical system of the agro-industrial complex with the introduction of digital and resource-saving technologies, including remote diagnostics of machines, is able to ensure resource conservation, increase the technical level, quality and reliability of equipment.

The article examines the role of the creation and reconstruction of reclamation protective forest plantations in the context of state investment policy aimed at achieving environmental stability and resource conservation. Special attention is paid to the strategy of integrating forest reclamation into national sustainable development programs. The author analyzes international experience, as well as government initiatives, emphasizing the importance of these measures to reduce environmental risks, improve soil fertility and strengthen biodiversity. The main economic and environmental benefits of investing in protective forest plantations are considered, including their impact on improving the microclimate, preventing erosion and sustaining water balance. The article offers recommendations for improving the efficiency of managing such projects and attracting private investors. It is concluded that there is a need for an integrated approach to the implementation of forest reclamation initiatives to ensure long-term environmental and economic well-being.

As a result of the conducted researches the expediency and effectiveness of pre-sowing inoculation of seeds of field crops with strains of nitrogen-fixing bacteria has been proved, which allows to increase fodder productivity of oat and pearl millet crops up to 36,8 and 18,8 %, respectively. The process of ammoniation and mineralization of organic substances is accelerated. Application of biological preparations such as Sahabaktisubtil and Mamontenok stimulates the activity of microorganisms using mineral nitrogen and accelerates the process of mineralization of organic substances in the soil.Application of mobile inoculator provides an increase in the quality of pre-sowing seed treatment in field conditions due to uniformity of seed treatment with the preparation in the form of “aerosol mist” formed by a vibrating centrifugal disc. Thus, the completeness and uniformity of treatment reaches 90% (compared to 65-75% for analogues), the speed of treatment at the same time increases.

The article presents data on the study of weight and hematological parameters of piglets in the post-weaning period against the background of the use of coriander and fennel essential oils. The physiological experiment was carried out on 15 crossbreed young hogs (F1:(D*L)) with an initial live weight of 11.95-12.56 kg at the age of 45 days. The duration of the experiment is 80 days. The inclusion of fennel and coriander essential oils in the diet made it possible to increase the average daily gain by 4.45-6.23%. Morphological parameters of blood increased in growing young animals: erythrocytes by 1.46-2.93%, hemoglobin by 7.86-8.71%.

The publication presents the results of the effect on the body of young pigs reared with a synbiotic feed additive. The synbiotic product consists of two components: lyophilized probiotic cultures isolated from the digestive system of pigs, and a vegetable prebiotic filler. These ingredients are combined into a dry mixture to form a synbiotic with pro- and prebiotic properties. The effect of the additive on the viability of livestock, live weight and its growth, indicators of feed consumption were studied, and the results of general and biochemical blood analysis of experimental animals were analyzed. The study showed that the inclusion of synbiotics in the diet of young pigs does not cause negative effects and is well tolerated by animals. In pigs receiving the supplement, an improvement in a number of indicators was noted: an increase in body weight gain, an increase in survival rate, as well as a decrease in feed consumption per unit of production. A blood test revealed a positive effect on hematopoiesis, in particular, on the formation of red blood cells and general hematopoiesis. In addition, an intensification of protein metabolism was observed. These results indicate a beneficial effect of synbiotic on the general condition and productivity of young pigs.

The article considers the problems of the need for digitalization of agricultural production, which will increase productivity, competitiveness of agricultural production in Russia and on the global stage. Positive aspects that can be emphasized when using digital technologies are numerous. In general, given their focus on the above-said industry development, we consider it necessary to highlight proposals for further digitalization of the industry, which, as it seems, should lead agriculture to the appropriate transformation as soon as possible.

The requirements for the controllability of vehicles regulated in Global Technical Regulations No. 8 (GTR No. 8) are analyzed. It is noted that it is impossible to directly compare the controllability of vehicles due to the fact that the law of rotation of the controlled wheels when performing tests using this technique varies from the design features of the car, in particular from the length of the wheelbase. A single law of rotation of controlled wheels for movement is proposed, both for a material point and for structures of real vehicles. The methods of obtaining a single idealized path by the magnitude of deviations from which it is possible to assess the change in the controllability of any vehicle are described. The results and conclusions obtained in the work allow the manufacturer to more reasonably approach the choice of vehicle parameters to ensure road safety.

This paper presents the results of estimation of the controllability and stability of vehicles when driving on roads with a low coefficient of adhesion. The currently existing methods for determining these parameters are described, their main advantages and disadvantages are noted. Based on the analysis of statistical data on road accidents, a new parameter of controllability and stability has been proposed - the stability of the vehicle’s trajectory during braking when lateral forces act on it. Its permissible numerical values are determined and verification methods are proposed. The results obtained make it possible to improve road safety when operating a vehicle in difficult road conditions.

The article presents the results of experiments on charging and discharging a paraffin heat accumulator with different heat exchange surfaces. The purpose of the work was to test the efficiency of the heat accumulator by using a heat exchanger with spherical protrusions. The work uses data obtained during the experiments. In the course of the study, results were obtained that allow us to evaluate the positive effect of spherical protrusions on the operating cycle of a heat accumulator.

The article presents the results of experiments on intensifying heat transfer of a paraffin heat accumulator using nanomaterials. The purpose of the work is to create a laboratory stand to test the effectiveness of a heat accumulator using a nanomodified coolant. The paper presents information about phase transition heat accumulators, a description of the laboratory bench, and the results of experiments. During the study, results were obtained that allowed us to evaluate the positive effect of the introduction of nanomodifiers on the operating cycle of a heat accumulator.

The purpose of the study is labor saving, productivity gain of work and ball screws quality design pursuant to the use in numerical control machines. The article is devoted to the problem of automation of the designing of ball screws with return ports. These ball screws are an important element of the mechatronic modules of numerically controlled machines, as they affect the accuracy of linear displacement. Research methods: system-oriented analysis, structural analysis, methods of functional and object-matching programming, simulation. The novelty of the work: a method of three-dimensional parametric simulation of nuts of ball screws and a computation algorithm for a ball screw based on the synthesis of well-known techniques, has been developed. Research results: a software product consisting of modules that together automate the design process of nuts, screws, rigid supports, tilting saddles and ball screw coupling elements, has been developed. Conclusions: the developed methods for calculation of basic ball screw parameters can be used as the algorithmic basis of software products. Since the process for designing ball screw nuts with return ports has been automated, there are grounds for developing automation methods for other types of nuts.

This paper presents the quality requirements for the treatment of diesel fuel to reduce environmental pollution. The total operating costs of the conventional diesel treatment system are considered. The results of the dependence of the components of the costs and the total costs of cleaning diesel fuel on the quality of preliminary cleaning are summarized. A plan has been developed to minimize the cost of pre-treatment of diesel fuel.

The paper presents an assessment of the development prospects and transport accessibility of organic production zones in the regions of Siberia based on data from state information systems of the Russian Federation and open information systems of commercial digital aggregators. The assessment was carried out with the use of technologies and analytics of the ArcGIS 10.6 program. The Novosibirsk, Omsk, Barnaul, and Tomsk agglomerations have concentrated clusters of investment projects for the processing of agricultural products. The eastern part of the macrozone is characterized by more focal investment activity, the largest of which is the eastern agglomeration of Krasnoyarsk. Investment projects in Kuzbass and the Irkutsk region are dispersed along the main transport routes. The republics of Altai and Tyva and the northern municipalities of the Tomsk and Irkutsk regions remain on the periphery of active transport contacts. Inside the highway part of the region there are areas of low efficiency in the use of transport potential, which makes it possible to increase the investment attractiveness of individual agricultural locations based on a combination of interspecies interaction.

This paper discusses low-temperature gas purification to improve environmental efficiency. Modern methods of gas cooling are also considered. A mathematical model is proposed for changing the parameters of an ideal gas when flowing through an opening - a Laval nozzle. A graph of the temperature of the gas at the outlet of the Laval nozzle is plotted at a different pressure ratio at the inlet and outlet of the nozzle. The conclusion was made based on the obtained values.

The article considers the processes of modeling the flow of a refrigerant and presents the results of numerical simulation of freon evaporation in a tubular evaporator. The results show the effect of convective heat transfer and bubble formation on the heat transfer coefficient. It is assumed that this technology can be used, among other things, as an element for water desalination. The possibility of using heat pumps and the organic Rankine cycle in the scheme of water desalination is considered. The authors propose to design such energy-technological complexes, starting from the stage of numerical simulation. The modeling results and the developed schemes presented to the attention of readers are part of a unified methodology for heat pumps and desalination systems.

A scheme has been developed for the use of low-potential energy for heating water, including for the purpose of desalination of sea water. An assessment of the effectiveness of the Kalina cycle is given. It is proposed to use heated water in the water treatment cycle. This cycle can be implemented on geothermal sources near the ocean. Installations based on renewable energy sources fit into the country’s economy in an environmentally friendly way, and also increase energy security. Thus, the cycle is integrated into the seawater desalination system. However, there are some disadvantages to using geothermal energy. First, it is only available in certain parts of the world, since geologically active areas are required to access heat. In addition, installing the necessary equipment and infrastructure can be costly, making it difficult for some people to access this form of energy. Finally, the heat removal process can also lead to environmental degradation as it can harm sensitive ecosystems and water sources in the area.

Mercury is one of the priority pollutants entering the Rostov region`s water bodies from numerous natural and anthropogenic sources. Analysis of heavy metal extraction in the world indicates a reduction in its use in production. Based on expedition and laboratory studies, the mercury concentrations levels in soils and bottom sediments were determined. The bottom sediments of the region belong to the low and medium range of impact, areas of high pollution are formed within residential areas and in coal-mining areas. Hg concentrations do not exceed MPC in soils.

The issues of choosing structural control schemes for finishing lines for products made of natural wood are considered. A literature review is given. In the block diagrams of these systems, single-level, two-level and three-level systems can be used, depending on the complexity of the control object and control tasks. The criteria by which it is necessary to choose structural control schemes and TCA tools are shown. Block diagrams of direct (direct) digital control of the process can be considered optimal. For these purposes, an algorithm for the direct control process is given.

The article presents the innovative development of a fucus-based energy gel. The gel is easy to use during high physical activity and it does not cause a thirsty feeling after consumption. The polysaccharide fucoidan of fucus has antiseptic, immunomodulatory, blood thinning and many other properties. The innovative technology opens fucus cells without high temperature exploration and additional chemical agents. Thus, the entire spectrum of biopolymers, vitamins, macro- and microelements vital for the restoration and normal functioning of the human body becomes available. The latest technology developed for processing seaweeds can be used to produce energy gels for athletes.

The article describes the study to evaluate the emissions to atmospheric air of airborne nano- and microparticles generated during underwater welding in seawater from Ajax Bay (Sea of Japan) using special wires and coated electrodes. The most commonly used underwater industrial production processes were selected: semi-automatic (mechanized) underwater welding with a welding wire, manual welding with electrodes, and semi-automatic (mechanized) underwater cutting with a welding wire for cutting. An aerosol particle counter was used to determine the mass concentration of fine aerosol particles in the air of the working area above the aquarium. The highest number of suspended particles in the atmospheric air was observed in the process of underwater welding with a welding electrode. Comparing the welding wire and the welding electrode for underwater welding, it can be concluded that the welding wire is less dangerous for people, which is confirmed by the lower amount of suspended particles emitted into the atmospheric air during its use.

Basing on experimental data, we obtained the correlation results between the water balance elements in the aeration zone and the calculated layer at the irrigation of red beets on sod-podzolic soils. We provided a methodology to conduct research on experimental plots and in lysimeters. The water balances for the aeration zone in the lysimeters and for the calculated soil layer on the experimental plots are presented. It is shown that the amount of precipitation during the growing season 2010–2011 (97, 195 mm) and the sum of average daily air humidity deficits (12.1, 9.6 mb) influence water consumption (510, 498 mm) and irrigation norms (414, 318 mm). Soil moisture at the conditions of sod-podzolic soil of watershed territories in Moscow Oblast at sprinkler irrigation has a significant impact on all the components of the water balance, especially on the irrigation norm and water consumption of red beets. We stated the relation between the irrigation norm for red beets and the moisture content of the calculated layer of sod-podzolic soil. The correlation coefficient of the considered values is 0,996+0,031. A relation between the water consumption of red beets and the moisture content in the watershed sod-podzolic soil was obtained. The correlation coefficient of the considered values is 0,991+0,053.

This article discusses cartographic work on creating maps of the territory of the dry bottom of the Aral Sea using conventional signs and showing the bottom with contour lines. As the sea dried up, the need arose to create topographic maps of the resulting land based on aerial and satellite images. In addition to the relief, it was necessary to show on the map the types of soils, sands, and types of vegetation. As a result of the retreat of the sea, it is necessary to identify the dynamics of the development of the land bottom and monitor the relief, how it changed in connection with this process. For such work, it is necessary to use satellite images using GIS technologies, as well as data from remote sensing of the Earth and create a digital model of the relief of the dried bottom of the Aral Sea. Based on this digital terrain model, it is possible to predict the state of the area in order to develop measures to increase the level of environmental stability and the ability to plan for the future.

The article analyses the dynamics of changes in the main components of the climate. The variability and cyclicity of the climate and the weather conditions forming it by year, autumn-winter period and vegetation period of grain crops on arable lands in the forest and steppe zones of the Volga region and the Urals for the entire period of meteorological observations is studied. Differences in the rates of climate change over time and by seasons have been revealed. Annual precipitation, on average in 1887-2020, per 100 years, increased by 55 mm, mainly due to precipitation in winter. The average annual air temperature increased by 1.8 °C, the average air temperature in winter by 2.3 °C and the average air temperature in summer by 1 °C. The air temperature in the steppe zone increases 20% faster compared to the forest zone.
