Currently, the study of environmental criteria when assessing the effectiveness of development projects and programs has deep relevance in the modern environment of sustainable development discourse. At its core, the theme is a cross-cutting issue where environmental imperatives converge with socio-economic needs, embodying the imperative to combine environmental protection with economic prosperity. Understanding the environmental criteria embedded in project evaluation is critical because of the inherent interdependencies between human activities and ecological systems. Moreover, the study of environmental criteria contributes to a more detailed understanding of the dynamics of sustainability, outlining pathways towards sustainable and regenerative development trajectories. Sustainable development depends on reconciling environmental integrity with socio- economic progress, which requires the adoption of holistic approaches that go beyond simple mitigation of environmental impacts. By clarifying environmental thresholds and tipping points associated with development projects and programs, integrating environmental criteria facilitates the identification of sustainability bottlenecks and the formulation of adaptive management strategies.

The predatory mite Neoseiulus longispinosus (Evans, 1952) isused as a specialized acariphage on vegetable, flower and berry crops inAsia. In protected ground of European agriculture, N. californicus is one ofthe effective predators of spider mites (Tetranychidae). The periodicity ofattacks on the victim depends on the temperature. The predator prefers tohunt immature individuals of T. urticae, often ignoring adult female spidermites if there is a choice. N. longispinosus does not show preferencebetween eggs and T. urticae nymphs. However, as the density of the spidermite population increases, the predatory mite switches its diet from theeggs to its larvae and nymphs. Adult females of N. californicus exhibit atype 2 functional response to both eggs and T. urticae nymphs. Pyrethroidand avermectin substances are highly toxic to predator populations, despitelow acute toxicity of many other insecticides (Actara, Envidor, etc.).

The composition of melioration systems includes underground pipelines, drains, hydraulic structures that may fail and require repair, but it is impossible to detect a problem area without monitoring the area of the system by antediluvian methods or conducting survey work. The purpose of the work: to justify the use of soil moisture maps obtained by the DJI PHANTOM 4 MULTISPECTRA UAV to identify problem areas of the reclamation network or vice versa absence. Aerial photography was carried out in May 2021 on the treated section of the drainage and humidification network of the Yakhrom floodplain of the Moscow region. As a result of the survey, a digital terrain model, an operational humidity map based on the calculated NDWI water index were obtained. The flight altitude of the quadcopter was 180 m above the earth's surface, the pixel size of the image of the earth's surface to be 7.9 cm. According to the results of aerial photography on the selected site, the absolute marks of the earth's surface vary from 134.67 to 135.23. On average, the slope of the earth's surface of the selected site is 0.002 in the direction from northwest to southeast. There are no pronounced microforms of relief moisture in the surface layer of the soil obtained in the field corresponds to the variety of color areas of the NDWI water indices highlighted on the operational humidity map. In the soil conditions of the studied area, the moisture content of the surface soil layer is logarithmic with the normalized difference water index NDWI. The correlation coefficient is 0.9 ± 0.06, which indicates a very high relationship between the studied indicators. Such a map can be used to identify problem areas of the reclamation network.

Water is the most precious and essential resource among all natural resources. With the increase in industrialization and human activities over recent decades, the state of water resources has been significantly impacted. Effective water quality monitoring has become a priority for cities worldwide. Modern technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, remote sensing, and the Internet of Things provide new opportunities to enhance water resource monitoring systems. This paper explores the application of the random forest model for water quality classification based on chemical attributes. The study includes three experiments: using the full set of features, excluding the pH feature, and using only the top three significant features. The random forest model trained on the full dataset achieved 100% accuracy. When the pH feature was excluded, the model maintained an accuracy of 76%, highlighting the importance of this feature but also showing the potential for compensation by other parameters. Using only the top three significant features (pH, conductivity, and nitrate), the model again achieved 100% accuracy. The results demonstrate that feature optimization without significant loss of model accuracy is a promising approach to improve water quality monitoring and assessment processes. This approach allows for reduced data collection time and costs while maintaining high predictive accuracy. The findings confirm that machine learning, particularly random forest models, can be effectively used for water quality classification, ultimately supporting better management and conservation of water resources.

The article considers the problems of conveying verbal means of expressing humour in translation taking the American comedy “Sixteen Candles” by John Hughes as an example. The comparison of the original and its three translations (two voice-over translations and subtitles) made it possible to analyse in detail the verbal and non-verbal means of creating a humorous effect in the film and assess their interpretation in Russian in specific comic situations. Furthermore, in some cases we offer our own translation solutions. The problem of conveying humor is still one of the most difficult problems in audiovisual translation; it is often related to specific cultural peculiarities reflected in the speech of the source language speakers and the speakers of the target language. The relevance of the paper lies in the need for further research on the means of creating humour and the problems of its preservation in translation. The goal of the paper was to study the verbal and non-verbal means of creating humour in a particular comedy film, as well as to analyse and assess the effectiveness of their transfer in Russian translations. The following methods of analysing the data were employed: comparative-contrastive analysis, linguistic analysis, lexicographic analysis, situational analysis and functional-stylistic analysis. The study revealed some losses in translation usually caused by unjustified lexical replacements (mainly generalization), a change in the word‟s register (for instance, using a neutral literary word for a slang word) and resorting to outdated vocabulary. Besides that, translators often ignore non-verbal, situational means of creating humour and their influence the verbal description of the situation.

Kidneys comprise the paired organ essentially responsible for excreting nitrogenous wastes, excessive water, inorganic salts, and toxic substances produced during the process of body metabolism. The maintenance of osmotic regulation and homeostatic fluid balance of the body is also performed by the kidneys. The current study investigated the histological features in quail birds of both genders at different age stages. A total of thirty-six adult male and female Japanese quail were allocated randomly into four different age groups of 30, 90, 180, and 270 days. They were fed high-protein food and water for two weeks, after which the kidneys of the quail were obtained and histological changes between males and females were evaluated. Data analysis was performed using SPSS-22. The results showed a 24% increase in Bowman's space in male quail compared with females after 30 days. Moreover, a 10% increase in Bowman’s space was recorded at 270 days in male quail compared with females. The results showed a 12% increase in glomerular diameter in females compared with males. The data also showed a 12% increase in the diameter of Bowman’s capsule in females compared to males. The outer diameter of the thin tubule in the loop of Henle in females increased by 4% compared to males. A 12%increase was noted in the outer diameter of the thickened tubule and the collecting tubes in male quail compared to the females at 30 days of age. Increases in the outer diameter of the proximal tubule of 6%, 16%, and 2% in female quail compared to males were recorded at 30, 180, and 270 days, respectively. Finally, the outer diameter of the distal tubule in males increased by 4% compared to females at 30 days and by 2% at 270 days. The current study described in detail the effect of a high-protein diet on the histology of different genders in quail kidney.

The features of clonal micropropagation in three variations of Ludisia discolor were studied. Brood buds, apical shoot meristems, immature seeds and mature seeds were used as explants. They are grown using Murashige & Skoog modified medium. A special technique has been developed for the sterilization and planting of microscopic mature seeds. Mature seeds germinated for 60-70 days. Seeds from 25-day-old capsules showed the best results among immature seeds. They gave mass shoots already on the 25-30 day after planting. The roller of the future first leaf of the protocorms was laid in the dark 2 months after germination. Switching to the light mode induced rapid gemmorizogenesis - the formation of the first green leaves, stem and adventitious roots. Seeds from 15-day-old capsules did not germinate at all. Planting with immature seeds is the most effective method of clonal reproduction of L. discolor in vitro.

Environmental sciences ,GE1-350 - Abstract
Spanglish and Chinglish as two most popular ‘Glishes’ have developed to a phase when we can seriously consider their sustainability issue, which provides an extensive and stable use of various loinguistic mechanisms built into thier language structure. The paper aims at analizing such trsnalingual mechanisms and corresponding code-switching functions from the perspaectuve of ecolinguistics. The research is base on two corpora of Spanglish and Chinese code-switches, which are then analyzed applying the methods of linguistic, componential, distribution and statistical analysis. Both epistemologically and deductively the paper demonstrates the two most vivid categories of code-switches both in Spanglish and Chinese: stylistic play of words based mainly on semantic borrowing, and translingual allusions and idioms used in Twitter messages over the period between 2017 and 2022. The study shows a certain correlation across the ‘Glishes’ as well as a degree of fluctuation in the corpora-based statistical data. This might involve a different sustainability weight of Spanglish and Chinglish in globalized communities. The paper concludes that the ecolinguistic monitoring of translingual communities is vitally important as we witness an influence redistribution process on the global scale.

Environmental sciences ,GE1-350 - Abstract
The paper presents the results of developing a program for mathematical modeling of molecular dynamics processes in crystal structures using the MatLab software package. The theoretical part describes the differential equations for simulation, their initial and boundary conditions, and the difference approximation. A method was chosen based on the principle of modeling molecular dynamics using one of the pair potentials, namely the Lennard-Jones potential. In the practical part, the chaotic motion (migration) of atoms in 2D and 3D crystal lattices has been simulated. The distribution over the computational cell and the migration of atoms beyond its limits are shown. The dependence between the bound energies in real metals and the computational model has been determined. The potential of interaction has been determined, which turns out to be positive. The developed program showed high accuracy of simulation results, as well as higher speed compared to other similar programs for molecular dynamics simulation.

Environmental sciences ,GE1-350 - Abstract
The main problem today is the fight against annual natural fires. Peat fires cause irreparable environmental and material damage, as a result of which the fertile horizon is completely destroyed, poisonous gases are released, residential buildings and warehouses are destroyed, and habitats for animals and plants disappear. A peat fire is difficult to extinguish, since peat is a powerful water absorber and most of the water sources are located at a considerable distance from the source of ignition, special equipment fails in places where it burns out. The aim of the work is to substantiate moistening by means of canal locking to restore a hydrological regime and to combat the occurrence of fire in the existing drained systems of the Moscow and Ryazan regions. The main locking indicators for 53 years were obtained for two options for moistening in comparison with standard dehumidification. The articles of the water balance were calculated and studied. The optimal variant of moistening the peat bog was chosen, which creates fire-prevention conditions and conditions for the development of agricultural conditions. According to the selected option, water supply is about half of the total drainage flow, there is no need to attract additional water resources.

The research work considers the simulation and analysis of transition processes in linear electrical circuits using the MatLab software package. The transition processes occurring in the following linear electrical circuits were analyzed: RL equivalent circuit in case of connecting the relay control winding to a DC voltage source; RC equivalent circuit in case of connecting a capacitor through a limiting resistor to a DC voltage source and disconnecting it from the source; RLC equivalent circuit in case of capacitor discharge to an inductor; this capacitor shall be pre-charged from a DC voltage source; a branched electrical circuit of the first order where its topology changes after switching. As a result of the research, the transition process graphs were obtained for which the simulated completion time of the transient process does not differ from the calculated values with an error of less than 2%. The analysis of transition processes revealed the following: the winding inductance effect on the time of relay switching; the effect of the additional resistance value on the charge (discharge) of the capacitor; the effect of the resistance value change when the capacitor is discharged in a circuit with two reactive elements; the effect of changes in the topology of the electrical circuit on the intensity of the transient process after switching.

Social Sciences - Abstract
The study comprised 43 students of the 10th grade of a comprehensive school with socio-economic bias and lyceum with physical and mathematical bias. Lung capacity was measured using a dryair spirometer. According to the results of spirometry, the functional state of the respiratory system in the majority (76.67 %) of the tested schoolchildren and lyceum students turned out to be below average, which indicates a lag in their physical development. The endurance ratio was calculated in order to characterize the functionality of the cardiovascular system. For the majority of students (97.68 %) it corresponded to the average level, and for the minimum number of students (2.32 %) it was low. The functional state of the body was also assessed by determining the stress level indicator. In 81.82 % of schoolchildren, the stress level at rest had a value corresponding to its increase, and only in 18.18 % of schoolchildren, the stress level indicator was within the normal level. Thus, most tenth graders experienced high levels of stress. In addition, the psycho-emotional state of students was studied by other methods using standard tests: determining the level of personal and reactive (situational) anxiety, assessment of personal well-being, activity and mood. The results of self-assessment of lyceum students and schoolchildren corresponded to good and favorable conditions. Among tenth graders, 8.7 % of lyceum students were characterized by an unfavorable condition. 30.4 % of lyceum students and 55.0 % of schoolchildren with high personal anxiety were identified.

The paper considers the peculiarities of linear system simulation in the MatLab software package using the structural blocks of the Simulink application. Typical links of linear systems and their transfer functions are described. The simulation process is exemplified by the system of the object control by its rotation angle. A structural diagram is built for such a system, the mathematical model of which is made in the form of an aperiodic link of the first order. The parameters of the controllers forming the control signal are calculated. A detailed description of the model construction is provided in the Simulink application of the MatLab software package. As a result of simulation, the authors obtained the graphs during the study of the object control system: 1) under external impact without changing controller parameters; 2) under external impact when using a PID controller. The final model was built; it allows comparing the curves of the object rotation control signal in the system with the PD controller and the PID controller as well as displaying the transient curves of the object rotation angle.

The search and creation of agrochemicals of a new generation, similar to bioprotectors, for agriculture is an urgent task of today scientific findings. The applied high-tech agrochemicals, in addition to their protective properties, have positive effect on the growth and development of cereals. The initial stages of growth and development (stress phases) are passing better with the introduction of effective fertilizers, agrochemicals and growth regulators. However, the use of their concentrated solutions is ineffective due to losses or transitions to an inaccessible state. Prolonged gradual release of Fe (II) will provide the concentration required for plants in the soil.

The effect on transpiration in tomato on different tiers (Crisis tiers) was studied, which consisted of increasing transpiration parameters in option 1 (Standard) and option 2 (Load). The influence of regulated photosynthetic flow on the studied tomato under different conditions was studied. Changes in transpiration parameters (from 1.4*10-5 mol m-2 s-1 to 1.3*10-3 mol m-2 s-1) are reflected in the graphs. The portable LI-COR LI- 6800 system successfully measured several parameters in the same area of the leaf: photosynthesis (µmol m-2 s-1), transpiration (mol m-2 s-1), stomatal conductance (mol m-2 s -1). The average level of transpiration in the studied tomato on crisis tiers is different and is, in option 1 (Standard): 1.6 *10-4 mol m-2 s-1± 1*10-5 mol m-2 s-1, in option 2 (Load): 3.1 *10-4 mol m-2 s-1 ± 2*10-5 mol m-2 s-1. The average level of transpiration of the studied tomato on the control layer, in option 1 (standard) is 2.2 * 10-4 mol m-2 s-1 ± 3 * 10-6 mol m-2 s-1, in option 2 (Load) is 3.6 *10-4 mol m-2 s-1 ± 4 *10-6 mol m-2 s-1.

Kheraskov ,Vladimir ,historical sources ,chronicles ,historiography of the 18th century ,Literature (General) ,PN1-6790 - Abstract
The article examines historical sources of the poem Vladimir by Mikhail Kheraskov (1785, 3d ed. 1797). It focuses on the following aspects: 1) the image of philosopher Cyrus, a key character in the poem, the main mentor of Prince Vladimir; 2) description of the images of the Last Judgment, heaven and hell on the “Charter” (veil) presented by Cyrus to Vladimir; 3) Vladimir’s son Vsevolod’s duel with Pecheneg. The last episode is an additional storyline that appeared only in the third edition. The sources of the poem include The Tale of Bygone Years, The Russian Chronicle according to the Nikon Lis (1767), The Kiev Synopsis (1674), The Core of Russian History (1770), and historical works of V. Tatishchev, M. Lomonosov, M. Shcherbatov, and Catherine II. The article draws parallels between the poem and these sources, including textual parallels. In conclusion, it is argued that in “Vladimir,” as earlier in “Rossiyada”, the poet whenever possible relates his narrative to historical evidence, constantly borrows from different sources. This concerns important ideological aspects of the poem (for example, the image of the main preacher, which also has Masonic connotations) as well as adventurous battlefield episodes (i.e. Vsevolod’s adventures), introduced, according to the author’s design, primarily to entertain young readers.

Social Sciences - Abstract
Globalization, which presupposes the strengthening of multifactorial economic, social and other phenomena, needs strategic management, forecasting and foreseeing its impact on every spheres of public life without any exception. Unfortunately, the modern Russian strategic planning system appears to be unbalanced and ineffective; key indicators of the adopted and developed strategies are abstract in nature and are weakly correlated with the practical needs. This is clearly illustrated by the example of such an important branch of the economy as transport. Strategic air transport management in Russia in the context of the digital transformation of the economy, especially the practice of strategic planning and forecasting, has a number of bottlenecks and needs to be improved. A very vulnerable spot in modern strategic management is the occasional use of methods of strategic audit (control). This conclusion is confirmed by the analysis of the draft Transport Strategy for the period up to 2035, submitted for discussion and revision. It is not possible to solve this problem without scientific support and methods of strategizing approved by domestic and foreign practice.

Environmental sciences ,GE1-350 - Abstract
The research results are related to the problem of enhancing the environmental safety of technical means in crop production. A research object is a tillage machine with standard and innovative dynamic working bodies. The research is aimed to a comparative ecological assessment of the efficiency of using typical and dynamic working bodies for surface tillage. The scientific novelty is represented by the regularities of changes in resistivity per unit of active frontal area of the investigated working bodies, inertia force and total kinetic energy, per hectare fuel consumption, fuel economy and reduction of emissions of toxic components at different speed modes of operation of the tillage unit. During the research, the methods of experimental research in the field, analysis and generalization of experimental data were used. It has been established that the resistivity per unit of active frontal area of a dynamic tillage working body with an energy-storage transmission mechanism within the range of speed variation from 2.22 to 3.33 m/s decreases by 33-41% in comparison with a typical working body. With an increase in the speed of the tillage unit with standard working bodies from 2.22 to 3.33 m/s, the fuel consumption increases from 5.12 to 9.21 kg/ha. Within these limits of the speed of the tillage unit with dynamic tillage working bodies and energy-accumulating transmission mechanisms, the per hectare fuel consumption increases from 4.81 to 8.30 kg. The use of dynamic working bodies on the tillage machine allows to save from 0.310 to 0.910 kg of fuel per 1 ha. Herewith, the decrease in the level of emissions of toxic components is 6-10%, which ensures a decrease in the environmental load of soil-cultivating units during the cultivation of crop products.

Environmental sciences ,GE1-350 - Abstract
One of the urgent problems today is to increase the energy efficiency of civil buildings. There is a need at the design stage to choose structures and design solutions that will compensate for the increasing consumption of energy resources in civil engineering. This article compares different building envelopes used in the construction of residential buildings: a volumetric block and a wall made of aerated concrete blocks. To determine the most energy efficient design solution construction is compared in different climatic regions. One of the most vulnerable places of a wall, from the point of view of energy efficiency, is a window jamb. In this article, an analysis is carried out to determine the construction with the lowest heat loss window jambs. Using the ELCUT software temperature fields and additional heat flux densities are calculated. According to the calculation, the proportion of heat loss due to window slope from heat loss according to the surface of the structure was determined. The heat flux density of the homogeneous section of the wall of the volume block is 1.28 times higher on average than in the aerated concrete wall. Regardless of the climatic conditions, the junction of the window jamb in buildings made of insulated panels of volumetric blocks is more energy efficient than the same junction in a building with aerated concrete walls.
