The character of new-formed intermediate and final phases depend not only on the contents of the original materials and upon the type of the mineralizator added, but also on the structure of the initial material, which is inherited in a process of solid state transformational reactions., L'étude des transformations structurales des phyllosilicates dans les conditions hydrothermales a une grande importance pour comprendre le mécanisme de la néoformation des phases qui se rencontrent dans les zones de métamorphisme. Les altérations effectuées en laboratoire montrent l'importance de l'héritage structural.
