Ethnic minority films play an important strategic role in foreign communication. From the internal perspective of landscape construction in Chinese minority films, this paper examines the practice of self-expression of such films in terms of natural and humanistic landscapes in the past. From the external perspective of "other" thinking, this paper examines the lack of self-image in the past minority films. In the face of such a lack of position, this paper considers the path of discourse breakthrough in the light of Chinese modernization, which is the latest achievement of the Communist Party of China (CPC)'s century-long modernization ideological development, and argues that in order to further "go to the sea", ethnic minority films need to be "firm and self-centered, and at the same time embrace the whole world", It is believed that in order to further "go overseas", ethnic minority films need to "firmly focus on themselves and have a heart for the whole world", and "go deep into the culture and express their national characteristics".

This paper is based on the history of Guqin art and employs a chronological approach to examine various aspects such as players, music, and tablature throughout different periods. By outlining the historical development of Guqin art, it prompts contemplation on the contemporary inheritance and development of Guqin art. This paper presents four proposed ideas for the inheritance and development of Guqin art, which include establishing a professional Guqin teaching system, emphasizing the study of Guqin tablature notation techniques, strengthening the popularization of Guqin art among the general public, and addressing the new challenges faced by Guqin art in the present. The author believes that aligning Guqin art with the modern era is an inevitable trend in its artistic development.

In recent years, the Chinese government has vigorously promoted the rural revitalization strategy, aiming to achieve a balanced development of urban and rural social economy and promote common prosperity. The key to rural revitalization lies in talents. With the continuous improvement of Zhoushan's internationalization and opening up, Zhoushan's local foreign language talent pool is facing the dual pressure of quantity and quality, including the inadaptation of the training mode of business English education talents, the serious loss of high-quality talents in business English education and the uneven distribution of educational resources. Based on the current situation of business English education in Zhoushan City, this paper adopts literature research, expert interview, questionnaire survey, field investigation and other research methods. According to the results of questionnaire analysis and regional characteristics, this paper puts forward strategies to improve the business English education system in colleges and universities, strengthen the cooperation between colleges and enterprises, and promote the deep integration of information technology and business English teaching, hoping to provide new development opportunities for business English education to help rural revitalization.

This paper explores the challenges and countermeasures companies face in achieving sustainable operations. There are many challenges to achieving sustainable operations, which include financial constraints, strategic transformation, institutional and cultural influences, and financial pressures. This paper proposes that companies can overcome these challenges by formulating a clear sustainability strategy, improving resource efficiency, enhancing supply chain management, promoting environmental innovation, and strengthening social responsibility as countermeasures. Meanwhile, the paper takes Unilever as an example to analyze its remarkable progress in achieving sustainable operations. Unilever has achieved many results by implementing nine health, hygiene, nutrition, greenhouse gases, water resources and waste commitments and setting more than 50 targets. Unilever has also responded positively to the challenge of achieving sustainable operations by working with suppliers, driving waste reduction and implementing carbon-neutral targets. The research in this paper will provide useful lessons and insights for companies to achieve sustainable operations.

To cushion the blow from the financial crisis, the Federal Reserve stimulated the economy for the first time in 2008 through quantitative easing. In 2020, the outbreak of the covid-19 has caught the US economy in turmoil again. United States implement QE policy again after six years. While the US economy continues to warm up, the negative impact of QE policy on it has gradually emerged. Therefore, this paper will study three related factors about the impact of quantitative easing through the “Theory + Case analysis” research methods on the unemployment rate, deflation rate, and currency circulation M0. It is found that the implementation and withdrawal of QE are closely related to the change of the unemployment rate, the degree of the deflation rate and the M0 of currency circulation. The significance of this paper is that looking at quantitative easing from multiple perspectives can better understand the essence of policy operation and help the community to prevent the negative effects of quantitative easing.

In recent years, with the development of communications technology, to bring great convenience to people’s lives, the convenience of the back, is a lot of Huawei like technology companies all Ren day and night research and breakthroughs. The purpose of this paper is to take Huawei as an example, analyze the SWOT of Huawei, using the analysis, can better correlate the external factors and internal factors of the enterprise, explore the enterprise structure, and make the enterprise situation clear. Through the study of Huawei, this paper finds that, as a new high-end technology-based enterprise, Huawei faces problems such as international competition, potential policy risks, and limited financing channels. After that, this paper also explores Huawei’s core technology, industrial layout, after-sales service and other aspects. This paper suggests that Huawei should adhere to independent innovation, improve brand awareness and influence, raise awareness of its intellectual property knowledge protection, and establish a strict internal risk control mechanism. It is hoped that it can provide help for scholars who study this topic.

Leveraging digital empowerment, the paper proposes several innovative teaching approaches, including interdisciplinary teaching, project-driven teaching, integrated teaching, and collaborative teaching. The exploration of these teaching design strategies aims to break down disciplinary barriers, providing a broader space for the art and design discipline. The goal is to cultivate professionals better suited to the demands of social development, contributing to the field of education.

With the improvement of China’s living standards and the development of digital economy, consumers are not only pursuing simple material consumption, but also need to obtain psychological and spiritual needs of consumption. The marketing promotion model of co-branded cooperation between enterprises and IP has gradually developed and expanded while meeting the needs of consumers and has become a new way of win-win cooperation between enterprises. This paper aims to explore the connection between client buying intentions and their perception of the value of IP co-branded items. This paper collects sample data through network questionnaire survey and utilizes the statistical tool SPSS to verify and validate the info. The findings showcase that IP co-branded items boost client buying decision indirectly through how they view worth. Moreover, co-branded IP goods enhance client impressions of worth, which in turn boosts buyer intentions. Theoretically, this article presents the content of the research for elements changing consumer opinions regarding worth and plans to shop and provides reference value and enlightenment for enterprises in business cooperation.

The Chinese game industry has been growing rapidly in the past decades and now has the biggest market share in the world. It is important to analyse the game industry in China, especially focus on a specific company. This paper applied the Harvard analytical framework to analyse NetEase, one of China’s biggest game companies. By conducting strategic analysis, financial analysis, and prospect analysis, this paper highlighted the advantages and disadvantages of NetEase. This paper provided a comprehensive understanding of the Chinese game industry. Through analysis under the Harward analytical framework this paper found four problems impeding the development of NetEase, which include reliance on single income source, loss in popularity, fewer benefits from scale economy and regulatory restrictions. Finally, to solve the problems this paper proposed several suggestions for NetEase aiming to help the company encounter the obstacles in its development as well as provide useful references for other companies in the industry.

This selection is important because the film is a good way for the country to show itself to foreign countries. China’s progress can be shown to foreign countries through improvements in film production, and it can also reduce some high-cost low-income films and make the direction of film development clearer. The comparative analysis method is used to analyze the paper more comprehensively and focused. It is found that the film needs to be richer in macro construction and less in narrative and lyrical storytelling. Because science fiction films need to be more well-made for the imagination of the wide world, China is still too conservative and wants to add a sense of home and country to the film, which is sometimes counterproductive. This paper goes from comparing the two films to analyzing the success and failure of similar films to the problems and suggestions encountered in developing science fiction films in China. Hopefully, it can play some role in Chinese films’ development direction and methods.

In recent years, with the increase in people’s demand for tourism, the output value of the tourism performing arts industry has increased, and market competition has become fierce. In this case, Song Cheng Performing Arts Co., Ltd. (Songcheng Company) has developed faster than the average level of the industry since 2013 and has become a leading enterprise in the industry in recent years. The reason why the purpose of this study was to explore how Songcheng Company has developed rapidly in the past ten years and how the “theme park +tourism performing arts” model makes Songcheng Company successful. This paper finally analysed three reasons by using founding materials and data: This model was complementary. In future development, the company should integrate trend elements and join experiential projects; the model is highly replicable, but the company should strictly control product quality and reduce product homogenization. The model allows the company to build its own IP. Meanwhile, this paper suggests making more effective use of network resources. Through the study of Songcheng Company, this paper makes up for the gap in the study of this model and has a certain reference significance for the development of other tourism enterprises.

This paper delves into the economic event surrounding Intel Corporation’s high-profile acquisition of Tower Corporation. Organizational culture has always been a mainstream issue of research in the field of organizations, and its connotation has been gradually enriched, perfected and presented a trend of diversification. Innovation is perceived as a critical factor in helping enterprises to retain competitive advantages, while employee innovation behaviour is thought to be the basis for enterprises to innovate. Using the definitions proposed by Chinese and foreign scholars in the past decade for reference and from the perspective of social cognitive theory, this paper, in the form of an argumentative essay, mainly to elaborate the connotation of organizational culture as well as the concept of employee innovation behavior, and it studies on the impact mechanism of organizational culture on employees and defines the research concepts on the impact of employee innovation behavior. And therefore the paper introduces the state of related research in China and abroad by outlining and summarizing the existing research, and points out that an organization creating atmosphere of encouragement for innovation can stimulate the employee’s sense of self-efficacy and further make the individuals sense of self-reliance, sense of efficacy, which in turn leads to a sense of innovation among individual employees. This paper theoretically shows that organizational culture plays a rather positive part in guiding individual employee to display innovative behaviors, and by summarizing and reviewing the existing studies, it points out the future development prospect of this field, which will provide reference and help for the subsequent researchers to carry out their studies.

At the individual level, age, education level and work experience are mainly studied, and due to the different characteristics of the studied industries, different scholars have come up with various conclusions. Based on the discussion of these factors, this paper further provides suggestions that can be implemented by organizations to improve employee job satisfaction. For example, shortening the power distance, establishing a mentor system, and conducting frequent meetings to ensure that the different needs of employees are heard and so on.

Building customer loyalty is critical to the success of a business, a body of the abstnd user-centred design has been proven to be an effective method for achieving this. This paper examines the development of user-centred design and its relationship with customer loyalty, and proposes a customer loyalty build-up method based on user-centred design. The method takes into account factors that influence customer loyalty and uses the emotional design model to analyse them. The paper outlines the process of the customer loyalty build-up method, including the stages and nodes. Qualitative research, through interviews with 9 professional experts such as company owners and design directors, was conducted to identify the stages and nodes of the method. A model is proposed to provide a clear framework for implementing the method. A case study is presented to demonstrate the application of the method in the context of the visceral, behavioral, and reflective stages of customer experience. Evaluation and iteration, also informed by qualitative research, are discussed as critical components of the method. The paper concludes that customer loyalty can be effectively built through a user-centred design approach that considers the emotional needs of customers and focuses on providing exceptional experiences.

In recent years, the metaverse have captured the general public’s attention. After so many years of development, the Korean entertainment market has become more and more competitive, and SM Entertainment, as the leading Korean entertainment company, chose to catch the wave of metaverse and create a unique metaverse marketing model, which has been a great success. The aim of the paper was to explore whether SM’s “metaverse” strategy could be a new model for all entertainment companies. This paper investigated the influential factors based on the 4Is of marketing mix theory and through a SWOT analysis. The paper showed that the importance of interest and Interaction is rising in the entertainment market. It concluded that this marketing model has won because of its uniqueness; therefore, other companies cannot replicate its success. If one company wanted to take its place in the competitive market, it would need to have its own unique marketing model.

As the current international monetary system is increasingly unstable and unbalanced, even more countries have begun to study and implement digital currency and put forward the concept of super-sovereign currency. The inherent defects of the international monetary system dominated by the US dollar provide space for the generation and development of super-sovereign digital currencies. Based on the superficial reasons for the issuance of decentralized digital currencies by various countries and the current policy situation, this paper proposes the impact of future super-sovereign digital currencies on the international monetary system. Taking the issuance of digital currencies by the People’s Bank of China as the starting point, this paper combines the data of the Federal Reserve and the Bureau of Economic Analysis from general to special. It is concluded that the super-sovereign digital currency may fundamentally reshape the international monetary system and the pattern of international trade. Developing countries, such as China, may hold the upper hand of the upcoming changes in the international monetary system by promoting the internationalization of the digital yuan with its leading position in the field of central bank digital currency and its important position in world trade.

This research paper discusses the impacts on the global economy and international market affected by the US and China trade war, which started in 2018-19. Led by the previous president of the US, Donald Trump, succeeded by the current president Joe Biden, trade protectionism was brought out to restrict Chinese exports to the US. Due to political, social, economic, and many other factors, both US and China ended up imposing additional tariffs on each other’s imports and setting up more and more restrictions on the international market. These imposed trade barriers between the two major economies in the world significantly influenced the two countries themselves, other bystander economies, and the international market balance. The paper discusses and reveals how the economic conflict affects US and China, both consequences and benefits, and how some countries found opportunities from this conflict, and some resulted in losses. Suggestions for possible solutions which each government can take are also being explained.

The interest rate futures market is a significant part of the financial market. It has a crucial impact on forecast the interest rate risk in global financial markets, which due to the complexity of financial markets and the volatility of interest rate futures. Based on machine learning scenarios to analyse and compare different algorithms, this paper analyses and forecast 2-year Treasury futures for the period 2022.6-2023.6 through regressions and other methods. Meanwhile, it is applied to construct charts and graphs to better compare and analyse models that are more suitable for forecasting future risk in interest rate futures. National policies, the volatility of the general market environment and its smoothness are utilized as the main factors to forecast its risk fluctuations. The main algorithms this paper use are: random forest regression, ARIMA model, BP Neural Network regression model, ARCH model (model validity test), GARCH model. In conclusion, though the predicted results of the random forest and ARIMA models exhibit a close to 0 and have strong stability, the predicted results of the GARCH are relatively better, none of them achieve the desired prediction performance.

The quality and relevance of the financial reporting made by the company’s managers with mixed incentives largely influenced investment decision-making, resulting in information asymmetry in the capital market. The financial statement analysis (FSA) plays an important part to mitigate the information gap and assists investors in making unbiased investment decisions, which consists of four parts: business strategy analysis, accounting analysis, financial analysis and prospective analysis. This paper analyses inside information from Pfizer Inc. using FSA based on the financial reporting from the financial year of 2019 to 2022 (FY2019 to FY2022) in conjunction with other supplement materials. This paper finds Pfizer primarily takes the product differentiation strategy as its key profit driver, and the related accounting policies and estimations generally reflect the economic reality. The short-term liquidity of Pfizer should be enhanced, and the firm’s market value is overvalued compared to its intrinsic value on December 20, 2022.

The purpose of this paper was to look into the challenges and opportunities that niche music artists face in the digital age, with a particular focus on Universal Music Group and its subsidiary, Spinnup. It examined the transition from physical to digital music and the implications for niche music artists critically. It explicitly addressed pricing and promotion issues in the digital music industry, drawing on marketing mix theory. According to the paper, platforms such as Spinnup have made it easier for niche artists to distribute their music globally, but they frequently require assistance in generating sufficient revenue due to high release fees and insufficient promotion. To address these issues, the paper proposed two major solutions: a pricing model revision and the provision of marketing and promotional tools. The proposed solutions aimed to foster a more welcoming environment for niche artists by providing them with the tools they need to effectively reach their audiences and thrive in the digital music industry. The findings provided insights into the music industry’s digital transformation and suggested strategies for promoting the growth and sustainability of niche music.

The characteristics of high pollution and high energy consumption of the traditional textile industry make it urgent for a comprehensive optimization and upgrading after the goal of “carbon peak and carbon neutral” in China. Based on the research background of “double carbon” target, this paper studies the transformation of the textile enterprises, choose has the country’s largest textile industry cluster of Zhejiang Shaoxing KeQiao for research object, through the questionnaire survey, field research, case study method found that: industry transformation effect overall positive momentum, but there are still competitiveness, power, the target. Furthermore, this paper selects typical enterprises and divides different forms of green transformation into substantive green transformation, arbitrage green transformation and stress green transformation. Moreover, it summarizes the main characteristics of transformation mode to create precise “5G”, innovate low energy consumption technology and promote green finance. Finally, the performance results of the three transformation modes are analyzed, which expands the research direction of the transformation mode for the green goal of energy conservation and emission reduction in the textile industry, points out a new road and provides new enlightenment for the exploration of the green transformation mode of enterprises. Green manufacturing is the decisive factor and the only way to realize the social sustainable development strategy, and is the inevitable trend of the development of manufacturing industry.

With the rapid development of e-commerce, online shopping has gradually become the mainstream method. At the same time, the return rate of commodities is also much higher than the traditional business model, and the reverse logistics problem of e-commerce has attracted much attention. This paper discusses the cost of reverse logistics in depth and extends to the general situation, taking Jingdong Self-operated Mall as an example. Reverse logistics is more expensive, more difficult and involves more complex factors than forward logistics, making it challenging to control costs while ensuring customer satisfaction. Several solutions to the cost problem of reverse logistics are currently available in the market, but they have certain limitations and drawbacks. This paper proposes some optimization strategies, including introducing self-mailing and self-pick-up, strengthening quality inspection mechanisms, setting up specialized commodity certification and secondary sales centers, and commissioning third-party reverse logistics to improve the efficiency of reverse logistics, reducing costs, minimizing losses and regulating order. It is also recommended that the fairness and reasonableness of the platform be maintained by strengthening the audit mechanism, adjusting the return and exchange policy and taking stringent measures against negative returns.

Hainan’s Free Trade Port (FTP) policy is a major initiative to promote the opening up and development of China’s southernmost province. The policy aims to create a world-class business environment and a high-level market system by 2035. However, the economic effects of this policy are not well understood. This paper applies the HCW method, a panel data approach for program evaluation, to assess the impact of Hainan’s FTP policy on four key indicators: trade, investment, talent and tax burden. The paper constructs optimal control groups for each indicator using the HCW and compares the actual outcomes of Hainan with the counterfactual outcomes that would have occurred in the absence of the policy intervention. The paper finds that Hainan’s FTP policy has increased its foreign trade and foreign direct investment significantly, but has not achieved noticeable improvements in attracting high-quality talent. The paper also conducts placebo tests to check the robustness and significance of the results and discusses some policy implications and future research directions based on the findings.

Nowadays, technology companies play an indispensable role in transforming people’s lifestyles and the productivity of the whole society. It is of great significance to focus on the ability of continuous operation and sustainable development of those high-tech companies. This paper takes Apple Inc. as an example and presents a financial statement analysis that combines strategy analysis, accounting standard analysis, common-size analysis, and ratio analysis. The figures shown in this paper are based on Apple’s past annual reports and relevant comparisons are made with Apple’s competitors when necessary. All the analyses in this paper are conducive to revealing the financial condition of Apple Inc. and forecasting its future revenue. After conducting all the analyses, it is easy to find that profitability didn’t witness dramatic progress in recent 3 years due to Covid-19. The paper, therefore, concludes that more efforts are needed to improve Apple’s efficiency and liquidity, which eventually enables Apple to make wise investments and generate more revenue. Furthermore, although Covid-19 is largely to blame for Apple’s plain performance in recent 3 years, more elements from the social environment and its competitors should also be carefully considered in order to make an exact forecast about Apple’s future financial performance.

This paper conducts an analysis of the site selection methods for power grid material distribution centers. It proposes the fundamental principles for site selection and organizes and compares representative models and commonly used methods in site selection issues. Taking the establishment and solving process of the site selection model for power grid material distribution centers as an example, the specific methods and procedures of Sparrow Search Algorithm applied to site selection problems are explained, and analyzes the shortcomings of this method. Finally, building upon the comparison and summary of simulated annealing algorithm and Sparrow Search Algorithm in the preceding sections, this paper combines their strengths to propose an approach for optimizing the solution method that is, using the former to update the iterative optimal solution of the latter, in order to reduce the risk of falling into local optimization, enhance the accuracy of problem-solving, and improve distribution efficiency. This contributes as a reference for similar site planning and decision-making processes.

This paper introduced the recommended models for the problem, explanations on how to use the selected model. 6 candidate models, including Logistic regression, Decision tree, Random Forest, support vector machine (SVM), Ada Boost and Neural Network are selected. The model selection process would focus on the model’s accuracy on test data as well as the interpretability of these models. The models’ result was interpreted to derive optimal strategies to be undertaken by both debtors and creditors. Throughout comparison between these models, logistic regression was the best in terms of interpretability and accuracy. Nonetheless, other models could bolster the decision-making process by examining their confusion matrices and the fitted importance of predictors in each model. This paper revealed practical implications of machine learning theories on home loan approval and credit risk and aimed to help decision making for both debtors and creditors.

With comprehensive research focusing on policy, market, natural resources, and social responsibility, we will not only investigate China’s homegrown policies but also juxtapose them with international counterparts. This comparative analysis aims to offer an in-depth understanding concerning the environmental challenges and potential bottlenecks faced by Chinese enterprises as they embrace clean energy and green development approaches. Furthermore, based on thorough exploration, the paper will deliver practical suggestions and recommendations for their sustainable growth and development.

In various academic disciplines and contexts, the value attributed to the natural environment encompasses two primary dimensions: the economic significance, which pertains to the economic value of the natural environment, and the philosophical dimension, which refers to the intrinsic (or subjective) value of the natural environment. This paper, after scrutinizing prevalent perspectives within the academic community regarding the value of the natural environment and its origins, asserts that the labor theory of value inadequately and inaccurately captures the essence of the natural environment’s value. Consequently, the paper suggests employing the “material theory of value” as a more apt framework to elucidate the origins of the natural environment’s value. The “material value theory” centers on the reciprocal relationship between humans and nature, with the objective of fostering an equitable exchange wherein human responsibilities and obligations toward the natural environment are traded for the “value” it provides. This approach aims to establish a harmonious and balanced exchange between humanity and the natural environment.

This investigation explored whether the “screening ceremony” could be a self-help strategy for major streaming media providers. This paper further responded to the marketing mix theory of the 4Cs and explored the four aspects of the theory and customers’ purchasing intents through the current marketing strategy of Tencent Video. Employed SWOT and qualitative analysis as strategic planning approaches. The findings of the analysis were that to increase customers’ desire to purchase, major streaming media platforms must provide customer value and connect with consumers. Meanwhile, major streaming media platforms need to provide value-added services that match the perceived value of the cost consumers pay.

This study aims to explore the relationship between large-scale media (referring to individuals or companies with a large number of followers on social media) and marketing, and to utilize the influence of large-scale media to increase product sales and brand exposure. Specifically, the paper first introduces the concept of centrality, including degree centrality, closeness centrality, and betweenness centrality, as well as their applications in social networks. Then, this study regards large-scale media as nodes in the social network and proposes the centrality concept of large-scale media. Next, this study analyzes the influence and propagation effects of large-scale media in the social network, thereby highlighting the importance of large-scale media in marketing activities. Finally, through empirical analysis, the paper verifies the positive impact of the centrality of large-scale media on product sales and brand exposure. The findings of this study suggest that marketing professionals need to pay more attention to the role and value of large-scale media, and strengthen cooperation with large-scale media in marketing strategies. At the same time, this study proposes suggestions for optimizing marketing strategies using centrality methods, such as finding and cooperating with large-scale media with greater influence, and establishing a relationship network with central nodes. These suggestions can help improve product sales and brand exposure, thus bringing better business benefits to enterprises.

Based on the contemporary social network environment, this paper discusses the practical significance of its impact on consumer behavior, and influencers as the main component of social network, this paper mainly take the mega-influencers and small influencers as the research object, through the analysis of the characteristics and application of the small-world network social network model to the micro-influencers, it is concluded that the influence of the mega- influencers on consumer decision-making is very important, but micro-influencers also play a subtle role in consumer behavior, which can be perceived as inseparable. At the same time, the application of small-world network model in economic management is a relatively new research field, which brings new ideas for economic management research and provides an effective technical tool. For example, this paper studies a new model of marketing through small-world network community, and innovates marketing strategy from two aspects of dominance and suggestion according to the different characteristics of mega-influencers and micro-influencers.

Digital technology has changed the original product form, the way of new product production process, business model and organizational form, and even overturned the basic assumptions of many innovation theories. Embedding digital innovation ecosystem makes it possible for small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises to create value from the production side in the industrial era to the demand side in the digital economy era. Through a typical vertical case analysis, this paper reveals the internal mechanism and process of digital innovation ecosystem enpowers the innovation of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises. The research results show that the embedding of digital innovation ecosystem has a significant positive impact on the innovation performance of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises, and value co-creation plays an intermediary role between digital innovation ecosystem and the innovation performance of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises. This paper puts forward the innovation theoretical framework of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises from the perspective of digital innovation ecosystem.

In this work, a dynamic structured light 3D reconstruction method adapted to random phase shift step size is proposed for the problem of dynamic workpiece 3D reconstruction in industrial manufacturing scenes. The method firstly utilizes a structured light sinusoidal grating pattern to match the relative phase shift of the workpieces moving along the perpendicular direction of the stripes on the conveyor belt. Secondly, in order to solve the problem of non-uniform phase shift step length due to external vibration, electromagnetic radiation and other disturbing factors of the conveyor belt and other mechanical devices, the method proposes a dynamic structured light 3D reconstruction model based on RPSNet, which is based on the CycleGAN network model, and uses the AIR2U-net model proposed in this paper as the generator, and the multilayer convolutional neural network CNN as the discriminator to realize the grating map. discriminator to realize the conversion of raster map to depth map. Finally, for the problem that the network model needs a large amount of data for training and it is difficult to collect data in the actual industrial scene, this paper uses the Thing10k dataset, and the dataset made by Blender simulation software for model training. Finally, a higher quality 3D reconstruction of the workpiece is realized.

The paper emphasizes the importance of reducing the negative impact of interpersonal relationships by adopting an approach that prioritizes interpersonal connections. This involves considering new cost and profit expectations and minimizing the reliance on relational functions when constraining economic activities.

On the basis of the review, this paper looks forward to the future by pointing out possible research directions and making relevant recommendations.

The article aims to carefully examine the reactions to the Panama Papers scandal in the light of the sociological literature on elites’ resistance to stigmas. More specifically, this article is focused on the defensive narratives of the persons targeted by the wave of revelations in the media. It also sheds light on the responses from the French government and key commentators over the French media. In this respect, we argue that this range of positions expressed on such matters largely relates to a common guiding principle contributing to the protection of the existing financial order. Indeed, the relative diversity of reactions rather refers to a division of labour – for legitimating power and domination – between the owners of economic and financial capital, the holders of State power and journalists, editorialists as well as other experts and media personalities who express their ideas in the name of their cultural capital.

The problem of demarcation between science and pseudoscience, although old, it was made central to debates about the nature of science in 1962 by Karl Popper. In this current climate of the pandemic, anti-vaccine theories and fake news, it is imperative that one distinguishes between science, bad science and pseudoscience. In this paper I analyse and discuss a number of arguments related to this debate mainly from Sven Ove Hansson’s paper, `Science and Pseudo-Science` (2021). The Swedish thinker argues for the importance of identifying subtle differences between bad science, non-science, un-science and pseudoscience. I claim that in this debate the starting point is a careful analysis of well-known examples. I conclude that understanding the demarcation between those domains and the unmasking of pseudoscientific theories is vital for negotiating both the social and the scientific landscape.

This paper studies two types of factors contributing to the considerable increase of the scientific publications in the SSH, during the last decades. On the one hand, a managerial steering of research activities has pushed SSH scholars to publish faster and faster. On the other hand, unwritten rules for career evolution, and the affordances of internet technologies, have exacerbated the same trend. In a third part, the paper looks at alternative models for publishing SSH research results, as well as at new trends in evaluation of research, aiming at reconciling the need to maintain a vibrant communication in the scientific sphere, with the need to reduce the productive pressure in academia.

This paper concentrates on applying the basic demarcations of the well-known Adlerian concept, the inferiority complex, to John Osborne’s dramatic masterpiece, Look Back in Anger (1957). This paper attempts to answer the following questions: What are the main aspects of the inferiority complex? What are the various justifications of Jimmy Porter’s anger? And to what extent can Jimmy Porter be considered as a true representative character of the inferiority complex as an abnormal state of mind? To fulfill these aims, this paper applies Alfred Adler’s Individual Psychology to the scope of the study, Osborne’s Look Back in Anger. The study tackles the three distinguished symptoms of the inferiority complex: first, it is essentially originated by anger. Secondly, it is the neurotic individual’s abstract hindrance against any positive achievement. Thirdly, it is demonstrated in the presence of a problematic situation for which the neurotic person is not properly outfitted. The paper concludes that John Osborne is much influenced by this Adlerian concept that each symptom is remarkably applied to Jimmy Porter. This paper considers the role played by systematic measuring in academic conducts. The introduction of entrepreneurial culture into academia fosters competitive atmospheres through its emphasis on personal merit, which entails quantitative performance measurement. As knowledge production is one of scholars’ core missions, this study aims to articulate impacts on ways of knowledge production influenced by environmental factors, comprising measuring instruments, institutional management, funding bodies and state policy. By interviewing 41 scholars in Taiwan and exploring their accounts of academic practices, this paper empirically analyses how knowledge production has been shaped by policy environments. These modifying behaviour patterns include a selection of research topics, a design for research agenda, strategies for grant applications and publications, engendering delicate changes in the epistemic properties of research. From this, it characterizes power relations between researchers, scientific communities and the state in the neoliberal age.

The migration from the Indian state of Kerala to the Arabian Gulf is credited with giving rise to consumerist culture. The households of Gulf migrants in Kerala are found to have better access to technology and improved conditions of living. The cultural matrix in which these technologies and foreign goods made their meanings and mobilize affects is under-researched. Taking the case of a canned powdered milk, Nido, as a spectral presence of the Gulf in Kerala, this paper, veered towards a singular reading drawing on mainstream films, and a variety of Keralan Gulf migrant archives, examines the ways in which the canned milk powder entered existing cultural values and produced discourses around itself, while also being an excess to discourse. The paper illustrates the enmeshed nature of migration, in which materials cross borders and purposes, is imputed with essences, or pass on from the spectacular to the quotidian. The paper argues that the contradictions of the Gulf migration — the limits of migration induced mobility in Kerala on the one hand, and the denial of citizenship in the Gulf on the other — is resolved through spectrality that the Gulf migration is projected and experienced as.

External and internal changes that affect non-governmental organizations and the difficulty to manage such situations are the main themes tackled by the author Lucian Sfetcu in his paper Introduction to the study of organizational change. The author studies, from this perspective, the Catalctica NGO, and proposes a method of analysing organisational changes applied to the NGO work model. The paradigm proposed by Lucian Sfetcu represents a guide for the non-governmental organizations from our country that face strong changes as a result of internal or external forces. The paper is welcome in a field so little studied in our country, specially in the actual political and economic context. In regards to future research directions, like the author of the book has stated, this paper represents only the foundation, comparative studied between NGOs from different fields, and from different regions from our country being necessary.

This paper examines the role of non-profit organizations (NPOs) in supporting welfare benefit claims by Romanian immigrants in vulnerable situations in Berlin. The study utilizes in-depth qualitative interviews with social counsellors, language mediators, and project leads to explore the function of social counselling offices in assisting these individuals. Social counselling is analysed as both an institutionalized policy intervention and a communicative practice focused on problem-solving. The paper highlights the power asymmetry between counsellor and advice-seeker stemming from the counsellor's superior knowledge of the welfare system, and German society. Social counselling acts as a means of support for individuals to navigate complex institutional arrangements and manage risks in modern society. However, the counsellor's authoritative role in shaping communication constitutes another dimension of power asymmetry. Faced with challenges such as complex legal regulations and limited resources, social counsellors emphasize the need for advice-seekers to gradually take responsibility for their own lives and interact with welfare institutions. This encouragement of self-sufficiency (orig. Ger. Selbstständigkeit) aligns with the principles of German workfare policies. Non-cooperation from advice-seekers in the context of social counselling can be therefore seen as a form of resistance against disciplinary power within the welfare state. The paper raises concerns about the long-term effectiveness and impact of social counselling, noting also the potential for burnout among social counsellors.

Tens of thousands of Romanian migrants work in the German construction sector. Their work is often characterized by unpaid wages, long workdays and by the withholding of sick or holiday payments. The risky and exploitative nature of the conditions under which Romanian migrants work on German construction sites is reflected in their negative evaluation of their engagements as “slave labor” by Romanian workers. Starting from such a clearly negative evaluation, the paper asks how Romanian construction workers in Germany classify their work and what role such classifications have within the context of labor exploitation. Based on qualitative interviews with and participant observation among Romanian construction site workers in Germany and in Romania, the article reconstructs four work classifications. Work may be interpreted as the fulfillment of obligations or as necessary for economic revenue; hard work itself can be a symbolic contribution to one’s own sense of identity or it can have the meaning of being part of everyday normalcy. Each of the work classifications offers a different reason to make hard work plausible in the eyes of the workers and employers actively turn such interpretations into a mechanism of vulnerability. Without direct physical coercion, these ideas motivate workers to take on work that they themselves criticize as ‘slave labor.’ The paper concludes by arguing that the recognition of such classifications and their social effects are crucial for an understanding of labor exploitation.
