Summary. — Six new species of Cicadas (Homoptera : Cicadoidea) belonging to the family Tibicinidae are described from New Caledonia. One is placed in the genus Myersalna Boulard, and four in the genus Ueana Distant. Some data firstly concerning the «cymbalisation» (= calling song) of two of this species are given. A new Cicada species from Mexico (Los Tuxtlas, Veracruz) and description of its sound production (Homoptera, Auchenorhyncha, Cicadoidea). Dorisiana sutori, a new cicada allied to D. amoena n. comb., is described as being from the region of Los Tuxtlas (Veracruz, Mexico). An audiospectrographical representation of the calling song is provided. The sound emission is a long succession of uniformly schemes each composed of two syllables (A and B) with very distinct spectral features. We suppose that the syllable A with low sharply tuned spectral components is used by females for long range localisation of the calling males and that the syllable B with broad high frequency band is used for short range localisation., Dorisiana sutori, nouvelle espèce de Cigale proche de D. amoena n. comb., est décrite de la région de Los Tuxtlas (Veracruz, Mexique). New Cicadas from Tanzania (Rhynchota, Auchenorhyncha, Cicadidae). This article deals with the first results concerning some new Cicadas species brought by Philippe Darge from Tanzania. Five belong to the tribe of Platypleurini : Afzeliada mikessensis n. sp., A. iringana n. sp., Pycna moniquae n. sp., Ugada dargei n. sp. and U. kageraensis n. sp. ; the sixth, Orapa uwembaiensis n. sp., supports the potential creation of a new tribe, while the seventh, belonging to the Chlorocystini, defines the new genus Kageralna n. gen. with K. dargei n. sp. as type-species., Cet article rapporte les premiers résultats concernant un lot de Cigales inédites colligées en Tanzanie par Philippe Darge. Acoustic status and sound behavior of some thai Cicadas. Description of a new species (Homoptera, Cicadidae). The author describes the calling cymbalisation of ten species (of which one is new) of the South-Asian Cicadidae and the courtship cymbalisation of four of these species. Contribution to the knowledge of the French Auchenorrhyncha fauna : new species, additional data and modifications to the text by Nast (1987) (Homoptera). During the years following the publication of the checklist of the Auchenorrhyncha of Europe by Nast, 1987 -up to now the only article dealing with all groups of French Auchenorrhyncha -many additional taxa have been found in France (the majority of them after our own research). Some of these have been already published by various authors. Some more taxa are added here together with taxonomical, biogeographical and ecological data and of several other species being rare or of restricted distribution in France. An attempt is made to update the "French part" of Nast' s cheklist : errors are corrected, nomenclature is adapted whenever necessary in order to create a reliable basis for further research concerning changes in biodiversity (e . g. species set and species distribution) perhaps correlated with climatic changes due to the "glasshouse effect". No less than 105 taxa are listed which were not cited from France in Nast, 1987 : 4 Cixiidae, 34 Delphacidae, 1 Derbidae (a new family for France), 1 Tropiduchidae, 1 Issidae, 2 Flatidae, 1 Cercopidae and 61 Cicadellidae (all of them in the text bear a number). Among them, 84 seem to us really new for France (in square brackets), including 22 species which seem to be cited for the first time from France (these taxa are marked additionally with an asterisk*) : Eurysa etnicola Asche, Achorotile longicornis (J. Sahlberg), Dicranotropis montana (Horváth), Florodelphax mourikisi Drosopoulos, Aphrophora alpina Melichar, Macropsis gravesteini Wagner, Macropsis viridinervis Wagner, Oncopsis avellanae Edwards, Chlorita pusilla (Matsumura), Kyboasca maligna (Walsh), Eupteryx castelvecchica Dlabola, Eupteryx origani Zachvatkin, Balclutha calamagrostis Ossiannilsson, Bobacella corvina (Horváth), Dudanus pallidus Dlabola, Cosmotettix aurantiacus (Forel), Hardya alpina Wagner, Macrosteles lividus (Edwards), Macrosteles maculosus (Then), Mocydiopsis oranensis (Matsumura), Psammotettix poecilus (Flor), Streptanus confinis (Reuter). Twelve of the 105 taxa were described later than 1984, five are so far known only from France, they might be endemic : Libanissus malickyi Dlabola et Chlorita laurae Delia Giustina in Corsica, Ribautodelphax ventouxianus den Bieman on the southwestern Alps, Rodezotettix sofiae Della Giustina & Wilson on the Cévennes, and Erythria pyrenaea Remane & Della Giustina on the Eastern Pyrénées. Two taxa, Metcalfa pruinosa Say, Kybos maligna (Walsh), arrived from America, two had been regarded as taxa below species level only (Alebra viridis Rey, Edwardsiana plurispinosa Wagner) ; four had been accepted as synonym by Nast, 1987 but should be listed separatly until this question is definitely settled (Eupteryx alticola Ribaut, Eupteryx curtisii (Flor), Eurhadina untica Dlabola sensu Ossianilsson, Rhopalopyx montícola Ribaut) ; two had been recorded from France long ago in Ribaut, 1 952, but this was overlooked by Nast : Kybos strigilifera Ossianilsson, Wagneriala minima (J. Sahlberg) ; ten had been correctly recorded from France by Nast, 1972, but were "forgotten" ( ?) to cite in Nast, 1 987. The remaining 72 taxa were already known to live in other European countries : only very few seem to have arrived from the Iberian Peninsula (Conomelus serrifer Remane, Metropis obscuras Asche, Zyginidia biroi Dlabola), some more are central or generally mediterranean origin : Eurysa etnicola Asche, Metropis latinus Linnavuori, Zyginidia servadeii Vidano, Florodelphax mourikisi Drosopoulos, Jubsoda stigmatica (Melichar), Toya ibiturca Asche, Melillaia desbrochersi (Lethierry), but the majority was known before only from countries east of France, for some of them the nearest known sites are situated in the Balkan Peninsula or in East European countries, e. g. Eurybregma bielawskii Nast, Achorotile longicornis (J. Sahlberg), Dudanus pallidus Dlabola, Platymetopius curvatus. Some taxa seem to be confined to the Alps, e. g. Erythria pedemontana Vidano, Jassargus bobbicola Remane & Schulz, or to the Pyrenees, e. g. Arboridia pitita Delia Giustina, Remane & Wilson. On the other hand, several taxa recorded by Nast, 1987, from France have to be omitted due to their synonymy published in the meantime (9 at least) or their taxonomic identity seems more or less enigmatic to us due to their insufficient descriptions (no recent examination of the type material of these "old" taxa is known of us). They too might be synonyms of other recorded taxa (ca 28). As a result of this the French Auchenorrhyncha Fauna now contains about 850 species. This contribution does not include several families or upper group for which we have not sufficient informations (Achilidae, Dictyopharidae, Tettigometridae and the Cicadoidea). All littérature available to us before 31.XII.2000 has been used in preparation to the present contribution., Entre 1985 et 2000, la faune de France des Auchénorrhynques s'est enrichie de 84 nouvelles espèces, beaucoup d'entre elles ayant déjà été signalées : 1 Cixiidae, 29 Delphacidae, 1 Derbidae (nouvelle famille pour la France), 1 Tropiduchidae, 1 Issidae, 2 Flatidae, 1 Cercopidae et 48 Cicadellidae. Parmi ces nouveautés, cinq sont actuellement considérées comme des endémiques et 22 ne semblent pas encore avoir fait l'objet d'une publication (ces nouveaux taxons sont signalés par un astérisque). Ce sont en fait 105 espèces qui sont ajoutées à la liste de Nast, 1987, plus 25 autres qui, sans être comptabilisées comme nouvelles, représentent des corrections ou modifications à cet ouvrage. Il est intéressant de noter que nombreux sont ceux qui, parmi cette centaine de nouveaux taxons voient leur aire de distribution occidentale largement agrandie, n'ayant pas encore été signalés au-delà de l'Autriche et de l'ex-Yougoslavie. En effet, quelques-unes seulement de ces espèces ont pour origine la péninsule Ibérique et l'Europe septentrionale, la majorité d'entre elles provenant de la région méditerranéenne ou de l'Europe centrale., Della Giustina William, Remane Reinhard.
