The full-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation in February 2022 caused significant damage to the Ukrainian economy. The war caused obstacles in the sphere of foreign and domestic trade, disruption of transport and logistics processes, outflow of personnel abroad or partial movement of labor resources within the country, occupation of territories, destruction, looting of enterprises, which certainly affected the ability of entrepreneurship to fully function. This made it necessary to study the impact of war on the state of entrepreneurship of Ukraine. The purpose of the article is to study the state and identify priorities for the restoration and further development of entrepreneurship in the post-war period.

Entrepreneurship represents an innovative and optimistic perspective for economic and social development. By creating new businesses and jobs, entrepreneurship contributes to the reduction of unemployment and it helps increase the standard of living. Entrepreneurship can also be a source of inspiration for young people and the opportunity to reach their potential and pursue their passion. In this regard, the government and the decision-makers should encourage and support entrepreneurial activities through appropriate programs and initiatives. The present study is based on a bibliometric analysis of the entrepreneurial profile. The bibliometric analysis was made on the basis of 1277 scientific articles extracted from the Web of Science database, on the topic of entrepreneurial profile. Data processing was carried out with the help of the VOSviewer software. The results of the analysis highlight the evolution of the subject over the 1991-2022 period, providing a significant picture of the entrepreneurial profile for the researchers in the field.

The economic impact of tourist activity depends largely on the character of the area or space where it is practised (e.g., developed, developing or less developed). It also depends on the administration or, in broader terms, management of this complex activity and finality through consumption. The latter is related to both customer satisfaction and the satisfaction of the travel agency providing services, to the degradation of certain traditions and the disturbance of the economic, social, cultural, demographic and environmental balance in local communities. The globalisation process and the technological evolution determine visible and behavioural changes because competitiveness is related to technological efficiency. Tourism can generate substantial income, thus contributing to regional development and dynamizing the labour market and companies activating in that sector. By allocating various funds, we can improve the quality of services and renovate accommodation facilities, which enhances the popularity of the location and increases income, implicitly. This paper approaches rural tourism and entrepreneurship within a microeconomic approach. It is motivated by the fact that the most common tourist activities are small and medium enterprises, which are not always sustainable enough businesses. Hence, awakening the entrepreneurial spirit is one of the most notable challenges for the actors involved in small and medium enterprise development in rural areas. This paper highlights the role and challenges of small and medium enterprises activating in the tourism field in rural areas. In addition, the paper proposes a way for overcoming the constraints and difficulties imposed by rural communities, based on the connection between the traditional rural community and a human network existing outside the traditional territorial community. This network extending beyond the traditional territorial border may be complementary to the rural community. In this context, strategic cooperation becomes relevant; it is the solution for overcoming the challenges faced by other industries, too. Furthermore, rural tourism allows producers to mobilise (on a wider scale) the local resources redeemed within the mono-farm activities. Thus, they may attain the goal of using and preserving their rural heritage.

Tech start-ups and, especially, unicorns have become a hot topic of today business world. Significant amounts of money have been invested in this sector by venture capital funds in the hope of a good return. However, the criteria and determinants of these investments are fuzzy, and the author has identified a gap in the scientific literature. Therefore, the objective of the present paper is to discover the determinants of venture capital investments in tech start-ups. Based on a secondary dataset, a multifactorial regression model is proposed that explains the appetence for investment of venture capital funds into tech start-ups. The model shows that the amount of funding in start-ups will increase as the number of unicorns and exits strengthens.

Abstract This paper addresses the problem of unemployment among young graduates in the city of Kisangani in the DRC. The ultimate objective is to analyse the main determinants of unemployment among young graduates in the city of Kisangani. The use of the econometric method through logistic regression (Logit model) allowed to bring out the results from the data collected through an empirical sampling of young graduates from all the communes of the city of Kisangani. The results obtained reveal that the main determinants of unemployment among young graduates are the level of employment available, the level of education, the route to employment and the type of job sought. Statistical analysis of these elements shows that all these determinants significantly influence graduate unemployment at the 5% level. To remedy this problem, this paper proposes that the Congolese education system be restructured to better prepare young graduates to face the challenges of the labour market. The government should put in place policies that promote job creation for and by young people. These policies should include improving the business climate, improving the quality of the education system, promoting SMEs and microfinance, and training and supporting young entrepreneurs to ensure the viability of start-ups. Keywords: Unemployment, young graduates, Employment, Entrepreneurship.

The present paper attempts to deal with two classical themes in a new and fresh context. The amount of works on leadership and entrepreneurship is vast, but the authors identified a gap in the research of these concepts in relation with tech start-ups, a domain that developed significantly in the recent period. The authors performed a detailed literature review, followed by an interview with a selected panel of entrepreneurs in Romania. The results of the study highlights few important trends related to the leadership traits of Romanian entrepreneurs. The results also confirmed a positive mindset and attitude which triggers an optimistic outlook for the Romanian entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The relevance of the present research is conditioned by the increased role of small business in the rapidly changing world. Providing a significant contribution to the country’s gross domestic product and employment indicators, small business is highly flexible and adaptive to changes. World experience shows that a government is able to increase the multiplier effect of private entrepreneurship in the country through a system of measures and strategic programs aimed at its support and development. Such actions of the government should take into account the peculiarities of the territory and unique national advantages. This paper considers the effectiveness of reforms implemented to create a favorable environment for business entities of different levels in Uzbekistan, including small business and private entrepreneurship, based on various economic mechanisms. The study assesses the impact of reforms implemented in different periods on the activity rate and survival rate of business entities. These indicators were calculated on the basis of official statistical information. The methods of mathematical statistics were used to calculate these indicators. The results were evaluated using the methods of comparative and system analysis. In addition, changes in the activity rate and survival rate of small businesses due to economic fluctuations caused by the coronavirus pandemic were investigated.

In emerging economies in general and in African countries in particular, women's entrepreneurship today represents an important engine of economic growth. Indeed, it plays a major role in reducing unemployment and poverty, but also in gender equality. In recent years, several authors have addressed the issue of female entrepreneurship in the world, however, through our extensive research we note that there are few studies and works that have been conducted on the situation of women entrepreneurs in emerging or developing countries, especially in Africa, while knowing that the dynamics of emerging economies differ from those of developed countries. Thus, the objective of this work is to draw up a state of the art of female entrepreneurship in emerging economies, and in particular in African countries, during these last years, while trying to bring some answers to the following problem: "What is the state of the art of female entrepreneurship in Africa? The results of this study reveal the profiles and characteristics of women entrepreneurs in Africa, their main motivations, notably economic, social and personal, as well as the internal and external challenges and obstacles they encounter in their experience. This work also calls for more research on this topic as it will provide more information and help to better understand the phenomenon. It also provides future research directions for studying this phenomenon in emerging economies generally. Our paper helps to identify the determinants of entrepreneurial survival in continuous times of crisis. We study, from the proportional risk model of Cox (1972), the case of 424 companies newly created before the Tunisian revolution of 2011. Our results show that the main factors of entrepreneurial survival relate to the company itself and its environment. This work encourages the development of support systems for entrepreneurship, dynamics of entrepreneurial territorialization, incubation, incentive for network innovation and acceleration of the dynamics of actor-projects, and finally, financial and banking inclusion in favor of the survival potential of young entrepreneurs., Notre article contribue à identifier les déterminants de la survie entrepreneuriale en temps continu de crise.
