Time-Of-Flight (TOF) computations are needed in all ultrasound imaging methods. In Non Destructive Testing (NDT), where ultrasound inspections are frequently done using a coupling medium between the transducer and the test piece, wave refraction complicates TOF computations and iterative methods are needed, which hinders frame rate. For fast imaging simple approximation methods are needed. In this work we propose a TOF fast approximation method for the particular case of sub-surface imaging.

Résumé Objectifs Ces trente dernières années les techniques d’imagerie surfacique ont fait des progrès fulgurants. La prise en charge chirurgicale a également fait l’objet de nombreuses évolutions techniques et stratégiques. Afin de mieux cerner les stratégies curatives du vieillissement, les auteurs ont mis en perspectives les données tridimensionnelles acquises à ce jour. Méthode Une revue de la littérature centrée sur l’étude tridimensionnelle du vieillissement du visage a été réalisée. Résultats Grâce à la précision apportée par les nouveaux systèmes d’acquisition surfacique et des cohortes de patient plus conséquentes, notre compréhension des surfaces et des volumes est désormais bien plus précise. La 3D met en lumière tout particulièrement l’impact majeur du vieillissement sur la zone péribuccale qui jusqu’à présent était négligé par rapport aux autres zones faciales. Conclusion Une réflexion technique s’avère nécessaire pour cibler au mieux les techniques qui permettront de corriger les défauts et apporter un résultat naturel pour ces zones anatomiques qui sont fortement impactées par le vieillissement mais peu corrigé en définitive. For a better understanding of the curative strategies of face aging, the authors have put into perspective the three-dimensional data acquired up to date. Method A review of the literature focused on the three-dimensional study of facial aging was carried out. Results Thanks to the precision of new surface acquisition systems and larger patient cohorts, our understanding of surfaces and volumes is now much more accurate. 3D, particularly highlights the major impact of aging on the perioral area, which was up to now neglected compared to other facial areas. Conclusion A technical discussion is needed to identify the best techniques to correct the defects and provide a natural result for those anatomical areas that are heavily impacted by aging but not corrected in the final. Nitrile gloves are widely used in the medical and automobile field due to its superiority in hypo-allergic component and chemical resistance over natural latex gloves. However, poor elastic recovery of nitrile glove to compressive force also creates an aesthetic issue for customers with high levels of wrinkling after removing from glove box. This paper demonstrates the preliminary study on the varies chemical composition such as crosslinking agents, sulphur and zinc oxide, the accelerator agent added during curing process, and the rubber filler Titanium Dioxide, on the elastic recovery and stress relaxation in nitrile gloves manufacturing. These chemical were studied at different concentration level comparing the high and low level versus the normal production range. Due to the inconsistency in the analysis technique on the surface imaging, the elastic recovery result was unable to be quantified and was not conclusive at this point. The cross linking agents, sulphur and zinc oxide, and the accelerator agent, played a significant role in the mechanical strength of the gloves. Increment of these chemicals result in higher tensile strength, but a reduction in the elasticity of the materials in which causes a lesser elongation at break percentage for the gloves. Both cross-linkers demonstrate different behaviour where higher sulphur content, provide higher stress relaxation (SR%) yet zinc oxide shows otherwise.
