This Bachelor Thesis is about analysing the financial performance of the company Czech Airlines j.s.c. The analysis is focused on the period of time between 2014 and 2017. The work is structured into 5 chapters (Introduction, Theoretical Background, Methodology Description, Practical Part and Conclusion), the Theoretical Back-ground includes main definitions and analysis methods used later in the document followed by the methodology Description in which more elaboration on the chosen analysis methods is provided. Then the actual analysis is done in the fourth chapter using the CSA’s financial statements and lastly in the Conclusion the findings and suggestions are written.

The paper is dealing with a new approach and technique to evaluate entrepreneur ventures using computer aided economic projection system. The term “economic projection” represents ability to display given venture from engineer’s point of view (in constructive, object and process-oriented way) into financial reports and indicators over time. Eventually it enables the user to carry out financial, investment, sensitivity, risk, scenario and what-if analyses according to requirements. It opens possibilities for changes in design or plan in order to optimize given venture in terms of economic results. The introduction contains some critical views of contemporary state in given field, i.e. in evaluation and feasibility assessment of such capital intensive and time demanding ventures. In the next, it is dealing with mathematical formulation of the problem underlying new method and its computer realization. Finally, it presents practical application of the technique to an existing underground mine and mineral processing plant. The task was to make assessment of viability of a proposed mining venture on a selected part of deposit called Silver Vein. The study was to provide overall evaluation of the proposed venture, regarding many engineering aspects with eventually investment and financial analysis, risk and what-if analysis in defined cases, which were presented. The results show viability and optimistic outlook for this mining venture, certainly, at given declared conditions. Additionally, the study has encouraged for future research. The intention is to try to search for a balanced, although less profitable, but more socially oriented subvention-aided mining venture with mine expansion beyond limits of the selected parts of deposit and thereby to prolong the life of mine and to back employment in given region. Future applications being considered is to use the system at planning of highways and motorways within reconstruction of transport infrastructure, being pursued at the present time in Slovakia.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the financial situation of the company Vinařství Lahofer a.s. and its localization in the region. In the theoretical part the literature about financial analysis, its data sources, methods and indicators necessary for the calculations of the situation of the company are used. The term region and regional development is also explained. The practical part contains description about the company and its competition on the market. Goal of the thesis is fulfilled by the calculations of financial analysis in the years 2009 to 2013. The concrete region where the company is located is introduced together with its development factors. Subsequently, the results are summarized and some suggestions and recommendations for the potential improvement of the company are offered.

This thesis aimed to examine methods used to evaluate multinational and diversified firms and then use these methods to study the Philips Group and its decision to spin-off of the Philips Lighting sector. Although numerous methods and parameters used to analyze firms already exist, they remain very limited for multinational and diversified firms such as Philips Group or General Electric. In this thesis, hypotheses were based on the theory of the firm and tested using analysis of leverage, profitability and efficiency ratios. This study shows the difficulty of analysing multinational diversified firms caused by a very limited availability of data set. Thus, despite of a great number of ratios described in the literature, only a small portion can be in fact computed using publicly available data. Hypotheses were based on the the paper developed by Chen and Guo (2005). First hypothesis, based on the analysis of capital constraint was attempted, secondly the pace and directions of individual sectors were analysed using profitability and efficiency ratios and thirdly the stock performance was observed. All of this in order to examine whether the motive of the split was to increase the stock prices. It was found that Philips Group nor its Lighting sector did not experience capital constraints, nevertheless an important degree of underperformance amidst analysed figures was found, which suggested that Philips Lighting division was not as good in creating value for shareholders as the HealthTech division was. Moreover, the decision of Philips Group to concentrate on its HealthTech business was positively accepted on stock markets confirming the third hypothesis.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the financial analysis of THT Polička, s.r.o. The aim is to evaluate results from 2009 to 2013 and suggest approaches to improve financial situation of the company. Theoretical part includes explanation of financial analysis and its concrete methods used in evaluation of company situation. Practical part includes the financial analysis of THT Polička, s.r.o, using horizontal analysis, vertical analysis, rentability ratios, profitability ratios, liquidity ratios, turnover ratios, pyramidal decomposition and financial distress analysis.

Financial analysis of a business with regard to its localization. Bachelor Thesis. Brno, 2016. The aim of the Bachelor Thesis is to assess the influence of chosen company on the development of given region where the company is located. Another aim is to analyse the financial situation of the chosen company using the indicators of the financial analysis based on accounting reports from years 2009-2013. Based on these partial steps was came to the conclusion that the company in 2009 amounted to an above-average of the financial health, but in the following years 2010-2013 were to the financial problems which could affect the company in its future development. With respect to the influence on regional development, the company does not directly affect the economy and employment policy in the South Moravian Region, but in terms of services represents the Tourbus, Inc. a significant contribution for this region.

The main aim of this thesis is to find out if the chosen company is financially healthy and to evaluate the influence of the company on the region of its seat. In the first part of thesis, the literature review, the author deals with general definitions of terms such as region, regional development, regional policy and then more specifically, what is the economic analysis. The second part involves already practically made economic analysis of the selected company, characteristic of the region in which the company operates and localization analysis. The financial results are compared with company's competitor and with the particular industry. The localization analysis is described from the economical, social and environmental point of view.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the financial position of chosen company, through the financial analysis during the five years period from 2009 to 2013. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part, the theoretical research, explains all important terms connected with the financial analysis of the company. This bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the venture capital impact on the economic performance of the Kofola Group joint-stock company, a famous Czech producer of soft-drink beverages. The first part of the thesis deals with the topics surrounding venture capitalism, in addition to both the positive and nega-tive aspects. Various tools will be used for financial analyses in an effort to gain a better understanding of the venture capital investor's impact on the financial situation of the company. In addition to this, a time-series analysis will be provided, supplemented by a comparison to the beverage industry in the Czech Republic and Kofola's main competitor. Skřivánek, P.The Evaluation of selected companys financial situation. Bachelor thesis. Brno 2014. The purpose of this work is to assess the financial situation of the company SVAPO s.r.o. This work is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part we find the explanation of basic concepts of financial analysis and methods for the calculation. In the practical part we find the characteristics of financial statements with use of horizontal and vertical analysis, data analysis ratios, indicators of activity, prediction of financial distress and pyramidal decomposition.In conclusion, we find an overall results of the financial situation of the company, on which recommendations designed to improve the financial situation of the company are made.

Hereby presented diploma thesis "Financial analysis of ŠKODA AUTO a.s." introduces the financial performance of the joint-stock company ŠKODA AUTO and attempts to provide with comprehensive in-depth analysis and to determine financial situation over the period from 2009 to 2013. The work comprises two main parts- theoretical and practical. The first part discusses theoretical issues related to financial analysis and establishes framework for further implementation of methodology. It involves purpose and objectives of financial analysis, resources employed to conduct research and methods and techniques, namely, horizontal and vertical analysis, financial ratios and models for financial health assessment. The second part describes company profile, industry analysis and particularly focuses on implementation of financial analysis of ŠKODA AUTO. This research is processed on the basis of financial data derived from the annual reports of the firm, which are available for public. In order to evaluate the company's performance and demonstrate its development various approaches are applied. Specifically, I will implement trend and vertical analysis of the balance sheet and the income statement, analyze the cash-flow statement and compute the following financial ratios: liquidity, profitability, activity, debt and solvency indicators. In addition, DuPont decomposition of return on equity (ROE) will be presented. Furthermore, analysis of financial health and credibility of the firm represented by the Beaver Test, Kralicek Quick Test and the Altman-score model will scrutinize the company's stability, profitability and creditworthiness as well as assess the threat of bankruptcy. In the conclusion all results of conducted financial analysis are summarized and evaluated.

Svobodová, L. Economic Analysis of the Company with the Respect to its Localization. Diploma thesis. Brno, 2014. The main topic of the diploma thesis is the economic analysis with the company's localization taken into account. The first part is consists of theoretical foundations of the issue involving the four theoretical areas - region, regional development, regional policy and economic analysis. The second part is drawn from a practical point of view and is formed by an economic analysis of the selected company, characteristics of the region in which the company operates and analysis of localization.

The objective of the diploma thesis is to identify effects of EU direct investment subsidies on the economic performance of grape growers being active in the South Moravian region. The appropriate methodology will be drafted so that it is possible to elaborate the thesis and to meet its objectives. The thesis is structured according to formal conventional requirements into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is based on research of literature and internet information sources. The goal of this diploma thesis is presentation and application of different types of methods of financial analysis. This thesis examines the influence of EU development grants upon economic performance of SMEs in the South Moravian region. Data concerning the economic performance of a sample of ten chosen companies in years 2006-2011 was obtained from the Business registry. The economic performance of chosen SMEs was identified using performance indicators such as vertical analysis, horizontal analysis and ratios and consequently EVA spread and EVA were calculated. The results of the companies were compared with the manufacturing industry. Data concerning the economic performance of the manufacturing industry were obtained from the web pages of the Ministry of industry and trade. Differences in the companies' performance due to the grant were identified using the F-test and T-test. Also Fish-er's test was used to examine connection between different factors concerning the quantitative results as well as the qualitative results obtained from a survey. The index method was used to identify significant factors influencing the yearly changes of ROE.

This thesis is focused on financial analysis of Accor hotel group. The purpose of this thesis is to identify and assess the financial position, financial health and performance of the company from the above-mentioned two perspectives, furthermore the monitoring of the development of the financial analysis and the analysis of changes during the period, also a comparison of selected indicators with industry and sector averages and lastly, a deepening of knowledge in the field of financial analysis. This thesis describes the economic situation of the brewing sector in the Czech Republic. Based on a financial analysis of the 28 selected companies are evaluated economic ratio indicators of these companies. With procedures of inter-company comparison are these companies compared to each other and factors that influence their performance are assessed.

The main aim of this bachelor thesis was to evaluate the financial situation of the company Nokia Corporation. Company's financial statements data from 2003-2012 were used and industry averages from the Bloomberg database. The evaluation was conducted by means of financial analysis. Specifically, ratio analysis including spider analysis, and a set of selected bankruptcy prediction models were applied. The results confirmed recent worries that Nokia has been threatened by bankruptcy. Out of the scenarios of the company's future development outlined in the study, the sale of the mobile phones business became reality.

The aim of this work is to perform financial analysis of MARO Ltd., trade and projection, from the perspective of an external analyst for the period 2006 to 2011, evaluate its financial situation and compare the results of financial analysis to the company's biggest competitor - STENO CZ, Ltd. Bachelor work is divided into two main parts - methodology and application. The methodological part describes the methodology of financial analysis which is used in the application part to analyze the company. Within the scope of the financial analysis a competitive comparison is performed. For better demonstration there are also figures, tables and graphs. In the conclusion I summarize the results with the aid of strengths and weaknesses of the company used in the SWOT analysis.

The goal of this master thesis is to appraise Budweiser Budvar, national corporation to 1st August 2013 with the purpose of selling the company to an unknown potential buyer. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, all the important theoretical aspects are defined and methods for business valuation used in this thesis are described. In the second -- practical -- part, theory is applied to the particular company. Firstly, the appraised company is introduced followed by its strategic and financial analysis, value generators, and financial plan. The core valuation methods used are the two phase discounted free cash flow method and method based on industry multiples.

This work is analysing association between stock returns and financial statement information. It studies the usefulness of accounting data for investors and its development in time. In the beginning it summarizes main features of this relationship and derives hypothesis of weakening temporal association. In the analytical part two models for assessment of this phenomenon are introduced and based on various financial indicators available from annual reports it tests this hypothesis year by year. The evidence suggests that the usefulness of financial statement information is not deteriorating over examined period. Nonetheless, the association is very weak despite both increasing investor demand for relevant information and persistent regulator efforts to improve the quality and timeliness of financial information.

Aim of this thesis is to determine intrinsic value of shares of developer Orco Prague, a.s. and valuation of this company as of 31.12.2010, based on public information available. Results should help owners and management to decide about the future of the company that is hardly dealing with impacts of worldwide financial crisis. The key for final recommendation will be comparison of results of revenue and liquidation methods. Theoretical part of thesis describes procedures and methodology of valuation, practical part is devoted to introduction of the company, strategic and financial analysis, financial plan and the final valuation of the firm.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate a financial situation of the company producing public transportation vehicles. Financial analysis introduces a tool used for assessment of financial statement, mainly the balance sheet, income statement and cash-flow from the year 2005 till the year 2009. The resulting data are commented on and evaluated in the practical part of the thesis. In the suggestion section there are recommendations and proposals which are aimed at improving the financial-economic situation to support the successful development of the selected company.

Composition of financial plan for year 2012 and executing financial analysis of a limited liability company. In composition of financial plan were used three variant -- an optimistic, a realistic and a pesimistic. Used methods of financial analysis were analysis of absolute indicators and financial ratios, including logaritmical decomposition of Return on Equity. Comparing each of those variants with reality valid on May 31, 2012.

The goal of this master thesis is to appraise the medical plastic systems producer Gerresheimer Horsovsky Tyn spol. s r.o. as of July 1, 2012 with the purpose of selling the company to an unknown buyer. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part there are defined all the important theoretical aspects and methods for business valuation used in this thesis. In the second, practical, part theory is applied to the particular company. Firstly, the appraised company is introduced followed by its strategic and financial analysis, value generators, and financial plan. The core valuation methods used are the two phase discounted cash flows method and the comparable companies method. At the end, the estimated business value is discussed.

The purpose of my diploma thesis is to estimate objectivised value of contractual health transportation company. I am defining the value to the date 1st of January 2012. The gist of objectivised value is that the company follows its recent concept of business behavior, with the same management thinking. The value of the company is achieved by DCF valuation methods. Thesis is divided into several parts. The main parts are financial analysis and its output about the health of the company. Financial analysis is followed by strategic analysis that contains information about relevant markets and income forecasts. Next part is analysis and projection of generators of value. On the information from generators of value is based financial plan, which makes the last element for final valuation. Last part is the valuation itself.

The enterprise is an activity which is necessary to be continually analysed, revised and improved. The financial analysis is a tool to complex evaluation of financial situation and company management. It enables us to find, through some indicators, weak and strong points of a company and then to recommend us on what we should focus or what we should improve. The financial analysis also serves as an important source of information not only for the company itself (owners, managers, employees) but also for the subjects cooperating with the company (investors, suppliers, banks), as well as for the state and its bodies. The main aim of the thesis was to prepare a financial analysis to a given company and thereby apply the theoretical knowledge gained during the university studies. The analysis has been worked up for a period of five years (2005 -- 2009). All data have been taken from the provided annual reports of the company. Of course, the financial analysis made from openly available information is not able to answer all the questions; nevertheless it is a good source of information about the company management in the past as well as a possible recommendation to the future.

Aim of this Bachelor's Thesis is to assess financial health of the MADETA a.s. company during years 2006 and 2009, find out strengths and weaknesses and estimate the future development. This work is divided into a theoretical part, where the basic methods of financial analysis are described, and a practical part, which contains explication of results of used methods and their comparison to the dairy industry.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to estimate the market value of the company T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s., in order to sell the company to an unknown investor.
