With the rapid development of the gig economy, the psychological needs of gig workers have gradually attracted attention. The purpose of the study is to explore the relationship between basic psychological need and well-being. Fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) was used to analyze questionnaire data from a sample of 422 DiDi drivers in China. The results show that there are altogether 10 basic psychological need satisfaction combination configurations to improve the well-being of gig workers. In general, Chinese gig workers pay more attention to whether respect and recognition, and occupational planning are met. This study contributes to the literature of basic psychological need and gig workers' well-being in the Chinese context. In the analysis of asymmetric relationship, it has some noticeable advantages, because it allows to explore how basic psychological needs are combined with the necessary and sufficient conditions, so as to form the basis for the well-being of gig workers. The "social being" perspective has largely influenced the design and research of AI virtual agents. Do humans really treat these agents as social beings? To test this, we conducted a 2 between (Cyberball condition: exclusion vs. fair play) × 2 within (coplayer type: AGENT vs. HUMAN) online experiment employing the Cyberball paradigm; we investigated how participants (N = 244) responded when they observed an AI virtual agent being ostracised or treated fairly by another human in Cyberball, and we compared our results with those from human–human Cyberball research. We found that participants mindlessly applied the social norm of inclusion, compensating the ostracised agent by tossing the ball to them more frequently, just as people would to an ostracised human. This finding suggests that individuals tend to mindlessly treat AI virtual agents as social beings, supporting the media equation theory; however, age (no other user characteristics) influenced this tendency, with younger participants less likely to mindlessly apply the inclusion norm. We also found that participants showed increased sympathy towards the ostracised agent, but they did not devalue the human player for their ostracising behaviour; this indicates that participants did not mindfully perceive AI virtual agents as comparable to humans. Furthermore, we uncovered two other exploratory findings: the association between frequency of agent usage and sympathy, and the carryover effect of positive usage experience. Our study advances the theoretical understanding of the human side of human–agent interaction. Practically, it provides implications for the design of AI virtual agents, including the consideration of social norms, caution in human‐like design, and age‐specific targeting. Introduction: This research is aimed to evaluate the correlation between Th9‐associated cytokine levels in MM patients, clinical features, and therapy. Methods: Peripheral blood samples were taken in 52 MM patients and 20 healthy volunteers matched by sex and age. The patients with MM were separated into two groups: the untreated group (27) and the remission group (25). An enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to measure the IL‐9 plasma levels. The levels of Th9‐associated cytokines' mRNA expression (IL‐9, PU.1, and IRF4) were measured in RT‐qPCR. We also analyzed the correlations between the IL‐9 plasma levels and the clinical parameters of newly diagnosed MM patients. Results: The IL‐9 plasma levels and the Th9‐associated cytokines (IL‐9, PU.1, and IRF4) mRNA levels in newly diagnosed MM patients were significantly elevated than those in healthy volunteers and significantly decreased after achieving remission. Moreover, PU.1 and IRF4 had a positive correlation with the IL‐9 mRNA expression. Then, we found that the upregulation of IL‐9 plasma levels correlates with the severity of anemia and decreased albumin Levels. Conclusion: The results demonstrate that Th9/IL‐9 may be involved in the pathogenesis of MM and is correlated with worse patient conditions such as lower hemoglobin and serum albumin. The precise control of molten steel temperature in tundish is a key factor to ensure the quality of the cast billets, so it is important to develop permanent lining castables for tundish with low thermal conductivity and bulk density. In this work, the hydrophobic modification of pearlescent sand was carried out with hydrogen silicone oil, and 3% of modified pearlescent sand was added to mullite‐bauxite castable to realize its low thermal conductivity and light weight. It is found that modified pearlescent sand still has good hydrophobicity at 350°C, the addition of modified pearlescent sand effectively increases the apparent porosity and reduces the bulk density of the castable. At 1500°C, the bulk density of modified pearlescent sand‐castable is 25.54% less than that of conventional castable. Compared with conventional castable, the mechanical properties and thermal shock resistance of modified pearlescent sand castable are worse, but they are sufficient to meet the use conditions of tundish permanent lining castable. At 600–1000°C, the thermal conductivity of the modified pearlescent sand castable is about 30% lower than that of the conventional castable, which proves that the addition of modified pearlescent sand can significantly improve the thermal insulation performance of mullite‐bauxite castable. This study examines whether differentiated disclosure of key audit matter (KAM) in China indicates a higher financial misstatement risk. Our empirical study demonstrates that financial statements with less boilerplate KAM are more likely to be subsequently restated than those with more boilerplate KAM. This association is only pronounced for smaller auditing firms in stronger legal environments. Additionally, auditors who report differentiated KAM are likely to disclose more risk‐related information. To achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality in China, photovoltaic (PV) power generation has become increasingly important for promoting a low-carbon transition. The central and western desert areas of China have been identified as major areas for the construction of large PV bases. Remote sensing technology has been used to map the spatial distribution and development status of PV power stations quickly and accurately in ecologically fragile areas, as well as assess the ecological and environmental impact of their construction. However, current remote sensing monitoring of PV power stations focuses mainly on mapping and time series analysis to measure their development process and assess the environmental conditions on a large scale over a long period of time. Therefore, we constructed a random forest model based on image spectral and texture features and mapped 2022 PV power stations in the junction area of Hobq Desert, Ulan Buh Desert, Tengger Desert, and Mu Us Sands in China. Following that, we identified the construction time of the PV power stations by identifying the turning points of the normalized construction land index (NDBI) time series from 1990–2022 using the LandTrendr method. To assess the ecological impact of PV power stations, we used the NDVI to measure the change in vegetation condition before and after the construction of PV power stations and constructed NDVI changes for PV power stations constructed in different years. The results showed that this mapping method achieved an overall classification accuracy of 96.65% and a Kappa coefficient of 0.92. The root mean square error (RMSE) for construction year identification was less than 0.5, and the number of new PV power stations increased significantly after 2010, reaching a total area of 14.52 km2 by 2016, which is consistent with the trend driven by national and regional development plans. Furthermore, the study found that the vegetation cover level could be restored to the average level before construction within 5–6 years and continued to increase after that. These findings may help government policymakers and practitioners make decisions on PV power station planning and ecological environment protection, thus contributing promptly to the achievement of China's dual carbon goals. Coming out of the closet refers to the self‐disclosure of one's sexual orientation to other people. A majority of gay men in mainland China are hesitant about coming out. Considerable research in Western contexts has demonstrated that coming out can alleviate gay men's psychological distress. The current study thus aims to understand the psychological impacts of coming out for gay men in mainland China. We employed a serial mediation model to examine the relationship between overall outness and psychological distress, with internalized homonegativity as the first‐order mediator and perceived discrimination based on same‐sex sexual orientation (hereafter "perceived discrimination") as the second‐order mediator. An online sample of 251 Chinese adult gay men (Mage = 25.25 years, SD = 5.28 years) completed self‐report measures of outness, internalized homonegativity, perceived discrimination, and psychological distress. Results showed that the negative association between overall outness and psychological distress was partially mediated by internalized homonegativity (indirect effect = −0.057, bias‐corrected 95% confidence interval [−0.153, −0.011]), and serially mediated by internalized homonegativity and then perceived discrimination (indirect effect = −0.019, bias‐corrected 95% confidence interval [−0.048, −0.007]), controlling for age. Additionally, we did not find the simple mediating effect of perceived discrimination between overall outness and psychological distress, which may be because coming out reduced oversensitivity and perception bias but increased the probability of actual discriminatory experiences. These results contribute to our understanding of how coming out affects psychological distress among Chinese gay men. Ordos Plateau is one of the primary sources of sediment in the Yellow River, and changes in regional soil erosion directly affect the ecological status of the lower reaches of the Yellow River. Many recent studies have been published using remote sensing (RS) and geographic information systems (GIS) to evaluate soil erosion. In this study, much satellite remote sensing data in the Google Earth Engine (GEE) can better track soil erosion protection, which is significant in guiding the ecological protection and restoration of the Ordos Plateau and the Yellow River basin. In this study, we used GEE to observe the changes in soil erosion in the Ordos area from 2013 to 2021. The Theil–Sen procedure and Mann–Kendall significance test methods were used to evaluate the trend of land erosion in the Ordos area from 2013 to 2021. Based on GEE, the RUSLE is applied to evaluate soil erosion and analyze the changing trend. As a result, (1) we found that the annual change of soil and water loss in the Ordos Plateau showed three stages: 2013–2015, 2016–2018, and 2018–2021. After 2018, soil loss decreased from 14 × 1017 Mg in 2018 to 4 × 1017 Mg in 2021, which indicates that the environmental restoration project started in 2018 has achieved encouraging results. (2) The results showed that 40.9% of the regional soil erosion trend showed a significant decline, and 45.7% of the regional soil erosion trend showed a slight decline. Only 13.3% of the regional soil erosion is on the rise. (3) The test results of different land use types show that 87.3% of soil erosion occurs in bare and cultivated land. Because the terrain of Ordos is relatively flat, 95.39–96.17% of soil erosion occurs in areas with a slope of 0 to 5. (4) The reliability of the RUSLE model based on the GEE platform is proved by regression model verification of observation data and model prediction results. (5) GEE's cloud-based features can provide data and scripts to users in developing countries which lack sufficient observation data or the necessary computing resources to develop these data. To realize the efficient differential sensing of phenolic pollutants in sewage, a novel sensing strategy was successfully developed based on a nanozyme (GMP‐Cu) with polyphenol oxidase activity. Phenolic pollutants can be oxidized using GMP‐Cu, and the oxidation products reacts subsequently with 4‐aminoantipyrine to produce a quinone‐imine compound. The absorption spectra of final quinone‐imine products that resulted from different phenolic pollutants showed obvious differences, which were due to the interaction difference between GMP‐Cu and phenolic pollutants, as well as the different molecular structures of the quinone‐imine products from different phenolic pollutants. Based on the difference in the absorption spectra, a novel differential sensing strategy was developed. A genetic algorithm was used to select the characteristic wavelengths at different enzymatic reaction times. Hierarchical cluster analysis and PLS‐DA algorithms were utilized for the discriminant sensing of seven representative phenolic pollutants, including hydroquinone, resorcinol, catechol, resorcinol, phenol, p‐chlorophenol, and 2,4‐dichlorophenol. A scientific wavelength selection algorithm and a recognition algorithm resulted in the successful identification of phenolic pollutants in sewage with a discriminant accuracy of 100%, and differentiation of the phenolic pollutants regardless of their concentration. These results indicated that a sensing strategy can be used as an effective tool for the efficient identification and differentiation of phenolic pollutants in sewage. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The extremely thin diameter of steel tire cord wire and steel saw wire are about 80 and 50 μm, respectively. It is supposed that this kind of ultrafine steel wire is easy to break due to large and hard nonmetallic inclusions in the steel during the drawing and standing process. This paper reviews the research advances on inclusion and microalloying elements control in tire cord steel and saw wire steel in the past 20 years. Including: 1) calculation of thermodynamics of inclusion formation in quaternary system; 2) effects of alkali metal alloys and its oxides on inclusions; 3) control of Ti‐containing inclusion and SiO2‐MnO‐Al2O3 inclusion; 4) effect of rare earth on inclusions in saw wire steel; 5) the behavior of inclusions at the solidification front of liquid steel; 6) the effect of inclusion size and morphology on the fracture behavior of steel wire; 7) ultrasonic technology was used to remove inclusions in cord steel; 8) the effect of C, Cr, Co, Ce and V on microstructure and properties of tire cord steel and saw wire steel.
