植物油因较高的营养价值和良好的润滑性可作为食用油和工业润滑油。旨在为评价不同使用功能的植物油的氧化稳定性提供参考，从食用油和工业润滑油两方面综述了植物油氧化稳定性的检测方法，讨论比较检测方法的适用性、优缺点以及植物油在不同行业中氧化稳定性的评价指标和改善方式的差异。作为食用油，过氧化值、酸值和茴香胺值等理化指标以及氧化诱导时间是常用的评价指标；而对于工业润滑油，酸值、运动黏度和起始氧化温度是常用的评价指标。植物油的使用功能不同，其氧化稳定性研究的侧重点不同。针对指标要求的差异性选择合适的研究方法或者联合应用多个方法，对于最大程度发挥植物油的价值有重要意义。The vegetable oils can be used as edible oils and industrial lubricants due to their high nutrition and good lubricity. In order to provide reference for evaluating the oxidation stability of vegetable oils for different use functions, the detection methods for the oxidation stability of vegetable oils were reviewed in terms of both edible oils and industrial lubricants. At the same time, the applicabilities, advantages and disadvantages of detection methods and the differences of evaluation indexes and improvement ways of oxidation stability in different fields were discussed and compared. As edible oils, the physicochemical parameters such as peroxide value, acid value, anisidine value and oxidation induction time are commonly used as evaluation indexes. For industrial lubricants, acid value, kinematic viscosity and initial oxidation temperature are commonly used as evaluation indexes. The research emphases of oxidation stability of vegetable oils are different because of their different functions. It is of great significance to select appropriate research methods or combine several methods according to the difference of index requirements for maximizing the value of vegetable oils.

Vegetable oils, which are considered potential lubricants, are composed of different types and proportions of fatty acids. Because of their diverse types and varying compositions, they exhibit different lubrication performances. The genetic function approximation algorithm was used to model the quantitative structure–property relationship between fatty acid structure and the wear scar diameter and friction coefficients measured by four-ball friction and wear tests. Based on the models with adjusted R2 greater than 0.9 and fatty acid compositions of vegetable oils, the wear scar diameter and friction coefficients of Xanthoceras sorbifolia bunge oil and Soybean oil as validation oil samples were predicted. The difference between the predicted and experimental values was small, indicating that the models could accurately predict the lubrication performances of vegetable oils. The lubrication performances of 14 kinds of vegetable oils were predicted by GFA-QSPR models, and the primary factors influencing their lubrication properties were studied by cluster analysis. The results show that the content of C18:1 has a positive effect on the lubrication performances of vegetable oils, while the content of C18:3 has a negative effect, and the length of the carbon chain of fatty acids significantly affects their lubrication properties. Two quantitative structure–property relationship (QSPR) models of hindered phenolic antioxidants in lubricating oils were established to help guide the molecular structure design of antioxidants. Firstly, stepwise regression (SWR) was used to filter out essential molecular descriptors without autocorrelation, including electronic, topological, spatial, and structural descriptors, and multiple linear regression (MLR) was used to construct QSPR models based on the screened variables. The two models are statistically sound, with R2 values of 0.942 and 0.941, respectively. The models' reliability was verified by the frontier molecular orbital energy gaps of the antioxidants. A hindered phenolic additive was designed based on the models. Its antioxidant property is calculated to be 20.9% and 11.0% higher than that of typical commercial antioxidants methyl 3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) propionate and 2,2′-methylenebis(6-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol), respectively. The structure–property relationship of hindered phenolic antioxidants in lubricating oil obtained by computer-assisted analysis can not only predict the antioxidant properties of existing hindered phenolic additives but also provide theoretical basis and data support for the design or modification of lubricating oil additives with higher antioxidant properties. Research Objective: This study was aimed to determine the main ingredients of Huajie Xiaoliu Formula (HJF) and investigate the anti-colon cancer effect of its combination with Tegafur, Gimeracil, and Oteracil Potassium Capsules (S-1) in vivo as well as to preliminarily explore its possible mechanism. Materials and Methods: The chemical composition of HJF was determined by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-QTOF-MS). The murine colon carcinoma cell (CT 26.WT) subcutaneous xenograft model of colon cancer mice was established to evaluate the in vivo anti-colon cancer effect of HJF. Evaluation of pathological changes in tumor tissue was evaluated by hematoxylin–eosin staining. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to measure the expressions of interleukin-1β (IL-1β), inflammatory cytokines interleukin (IL-6), and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in mice serum. Immunohistochemistry was used to evaluate B cell lymphoma-2 (Bcl-2), Bax, and Ki67 protein expression in tumor tissue. Results: Twenty chemicals in HJF were identified by UPLC-QTOF-MS. In vivo experiments showed that HJF has obvious inhibitory effects on the subcutaneous xenograft model of colon cancer mice. Results of ELISA showed HJF is able to increase mice body weight, inhibit tumor growth, and reduce the serum levels of IL-1β and IL-6 along with TNF-α. Immunohistochemistry results demonstrated that HJF can significantly inhibit the levels of Bax, Bcl-2, and Ki67 in mice with colon cancer transplant tumors. Furthermore, the combination of HJF and S-1 demonstrated a more significant antitumor effect than any other group in vivo. Conclusions: Huajie Xiaoliu Formula is effective in CT 26.WT subcutaneous xenograft model of colon cancer mice by inhibiting tumorigenesis, metastasis, and angiogenesis through the Bcl-2/Bax signaling pathway, resulting in anti-colorectal tumor effects. The drug delivery system based on nano/micromotors has become a research hot spot in recent years. However, naked micromotors may be ruptured or passivated under the complex biological environment, which will result in the leakage of drugs in advance or limited self‐propulsion performance. Herein, an injectable micromotor@hydrogel drug delivery system to protect micromotors from the external environment is proposed. The micromotors were prepared through layer‐by‐layer assembly technology. The asymmetric decomposition of hydrogen peroxide catalyzed by the locally distributed platinum nanoparticles enabled efficient propulsion of the micromotors in low concentration of hydrogen peroxide. In order to protect micromotors, they were loaded into the Schiff base hydrogel. The micromotor@hydrogel system can be injected directly into the lesion to release micromotors in response to the environment, reducing external influence on micromotors and improving the sustained‐release effect. Erythromycin (Ery) loaded into the micromotors and the micromotor@hydrogel system demonstrated excellent antibacterial effect. Micromotors released from the hydrogel underwent enhanced diffusion in the surroundings of bacteria without addition of exogenous hydrogen peroxide, which was manifested by their appearance in edge of the inhibition zone. Inspirations from the movements of organisms in nature have motivated a myriad of researchers to develop innovative intelligent soft matter mimicking the body deformation principles of natural systems. Similar to the sensory and control systems of biological organisms, the environment responsiveness and configurable structure of hydrogel make it an ideal candidate to construct biomimetic soft matters. This review highlights the progresses made toward developing hydrogel‐based motors from two aspects: chemically induced autonomous propulsion and external‐stimuli‐induced propulsion. According to the classification based on propulsion mechanisms, the design principles, fabrication methods, and motion characterization are discussed. By reviewing the efforts in the rapidly increasing multidisciplinary field, the framework of designing hydrogel‐based smart soft devices able to operate autonomously is outlined and ongoing research targets to meet the intended purpose are proposed. Towards on‐site degradation of organic pollutants, dual‐propelled sporopollenin‐exine‐capsule (SEC) micromotors loaded with horseradish peroxidase (HRP) have been developed. The magnetic propulsion of SEC micromotors enables them to follow predesignated paths to arrive the pollution site, while the chemical propulsion on the site accelerates the degradation process taking advantage of the fluid mixing effect induced by their movement and bubble generation. Near‐infrared (NIR) light is employed to trigger the rupture of the magnetic polydopamine (PDA) outer coating and release the platinum‐coated SECs loaded with HRP enzyme. In this experiment, freshly harvested rice was dried by natural and mechanical methods. For natural drying, paddy rice was spread on a cement floor under a shelter at a thickness of 4cm, and it was turned twice a day. At a temperature of 19.3°C and a relative humidity of 58.8%, a total of 28 days was needed to reduce the water content from 23.11 to 14.38%. For mechanical drying, the Guwang 5HXG-15B circulating dryer was used, drying temperature was set to 42°C, and it took a total of 5 hours to reduce the water content from 23.1 to 11.8%. The changes in spore count, fatty acid value, germination rate, waist burst rate, whole polished rice rate, and taste value of rice mold after drying were studied. The results showed that compared with mechanical drying, the drying rate of air-dried rice was slower, and the number of mold spores increased from 0.65×105/g to 3.05×105/g, a 3.7 times increase. The number of mold spores in dried rice was not significant. Dried rice fatty acid value of 25.1mg/100g for natural drying was higher than the value of 19.9mg/100g for mechanical drying. High temperature affected rice seed vigor: mechanically dried rice germination rate was 58.0%, far lower than the 87.5% for natural drying. The blasting rate, polished rice rate, and taste value of mechanically dried rice were 5.33%, 57.9%, and 83.7, respectively, which was 2.33%, 58.9%, and 89.3 for naturally-dried rice. The processing quality and taste quality were even worse. Therefore, the drying process of the optimized circulation dryer should be further adjusted to reduce its impact on rice processing quality and taste quality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper proposes a novel coupled and active (CA) grasping mode for robot finger. While coupled grasping mode enables the phalanges of the finger to rotate in an anthropomorphic way, the active grasping mode enables the finger to adapt to the object's shape automatically. Combination of these grasping modes can greatly reduce the controlling complexity and enlarge the application of coupled hands. The CA finger is developed based on the pulley-belt mechanism. It is composed of a finger base and two mobile phalanges. The control process of the finger is also introduced in this paper. Grasping capabilities is validated by experiments. African swine fever (ASF) is a highly fatal swine disease threatening the global pig industry. Currently, vaccine is not commercially available for ASF. Hence, it is desirable to develop effective subunit vaccines against ASF. Here, we expressed and purified two recombinant fusion proteins comprising ASFV proteins p30 and p54 fused to a novel cell-penetrating peptide Z12, which were labeled as ZPM (Z12-p30-modified p54) and ZPMT (Z12-p30-modified p54-T cell epitope). Purified recombinant p30 and modified p54 expressed alone or fused served as controls. The transduction capacity of these recombinant proteins was assessed in RAW264.7 cells. Both ZPM and ZPMT exhibited higher transduction efficiency than the other proteins. Subsequently, humoral and cellular immune responses elicited by these proteins were evaluated in mice. ZPMT elicited the highest levels of antigen-specific IgG responses, cytokines (interleukin-2, interferon-γ, and tumor necrosis factor-α) and lymphocyte proliferation. Importantly, sera from mice immunized with ZPM or ZPMT neutralized greater than 85% of ASFV in vitro. Our results indicate that ZPMT induces potent neutralizing antibody responses and cellular immunity in mice. Therefore, ZPMT may be a suitable candidate to elicit immune responses in swine, providing valuable information for the development of subunit vaccines against ASF. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Wuling capsule is a traditional Chinese medicine composed of four herbals. It has been widely used to treat chronic active hepatitis and has shown significant efficacy in hyperlipidemia. However, the treatment of NAFLD disease has not been studied in depth., Methods: Firstly, the potential bioactive compounds in Wuling capsules were identified by TCMSP (https://old.tcmsp-e.com/tcmsp.php). Secondly， the pathway and GO function were analyzed by using the DAVID database (https://david.ncifcrf.gov/). Then, the molecular docking techniques were used to confirm the accuracy of binding between key targets and components. Furthermore, the experimental pharmacology validation was conducted using RT-qPCR and WB of the NAFLD model., Results: A total of 138 active compounds and 40 common potential targets associated with NAFLD were identified through network pharmacology. The pathway and functional enrichment analysis showed that the Wuling capsule was associated with the PI3K-AKT and HIF-1α signaling pathways. Introduction: African swine fever (ASF) is a highly contagious hemorrhagic fever disease in pigs caused by African swine fever virus (ASFV). It is very difficult to control and prevent ASF outbreaks due to the absence of safe and effective vaccines., Methods: In order to develop a safe and effective ASF vaccine for the control and prevention of ASF, two ASFV recombinant vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) live vector vaccine prototypes, containing the gene of p72, and a chimera of p30 and p54, were developed based on the replication-competent VSV, and named VSV-p72 and VSV-p35. The immune potency of VSV-p72 or VSV-p35 alone and in combination was evaluated in BALB/c mice via intramuscular and intranasal vaccination., Results: The results indicated that whether administered alone or in combination, the two vaccine prototypes showed acceptable safety in mice and, more importantly, induced high-level specific antibodies against p72, p30, and p54 of ASFV and a strong cellular immune response 28 days after vaccination. The sera from mice vaccinated with the vaccine prototypes significantly inhibited ASFV from infecting porcine alveolar macrophages (PAMs) in vitro . African swine fever virus (ASFV) is a highly infectious and lethal double-stranded DNA virus that is responsible for African swine fever (ASF). ASFV was first reported in Kenya in 1921. Subsequently, ASFV has spread to countries in Western Europe, Latin America, and Eastern Europe, as well as to China in 2018. ASFV epidemics have caused serious pig industry losses around the world. Since the 1960s, much effort has been devoted to the development of an effective ASF vaccine, including the production of inactivated vaccines, attenuated live vaccines, and subunit vaccines. Progress has been made, but unfortunately, no ASF vaccine has prevented epidemic spread of the virus in pig farms. The complex ASFV structure, comprising a variety of structural and non-structural proteins, has made the development of ASF vaccines difficult. Therefore, it is necessary to fully explore the structure and function of ASFV proteins in order to develop an effective ASF vaccine. African swine fever virus (ASFV) causes a highly lethal hemorrhagic viral disease (ASF) of pigs that results in serious losses in China and elsewhere. The development of a vaccine and diagnosis technology for ASFV is essential to prevent and control the spread of ASF. The p72 protein of ASFV is highly immunogenic and reactive, and is a dominant antigen in ASF vaccine and diagnostic research. In this study, 17 p72 monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) were generated. Epitope mapping by a series of overlapping peptides expressed in Escherichia coli showed that these mAbs recognized a total of seven (1-7) linear B cell epitopes. These mAbs did not show significant neutralizing activity. Epitopes 1 ( 249 HKPHQSKPIL 258 ), 2 ( 69 PVGFEYENKV 77 ), 5 ( 195 VNGNSLDEYSS 205 ), and 7 ( 223 GYKHLVGQEV 233 ) are novel. Sequence alignment analysis revealed that the identified epitopes were highly conserved among 27 ASFV strains from nine genotypes. Preliminary screening using known positive and negative sera indicated the diagnostic potential of mAb-2B8D7. A solar evaporator is regarded as a prospective approach to solve the problem of water shortage. Here, we report an aerogel-based solar evaporator with self-propulsion and self-healing behavior to achieve efficient desalination and enhanced heavy-metal removal. The aerogel solar evaporator is prepared from a Schiff-base hydrogel with an asymmetric Au deposition layer via a simple freeze-drying method. The hydrogel is composed of chitosan and dialdehyde starch, and the Au layer generates a thermal gradient to drive the self-propulsion of the aerogel solar evaporator. Also, the dynamic linkages involved in the Schiff-base hydrogel endow the aerogel solar evaporator with self-healing ability upon external damage. Meanwhile, the Schiff-base framework is used as the interaction site between the aerogel evaporator and water molecules to lower the water evaporation enthalpy. Moreover, the aerogel evaporators are designed into small elliptical spheres and a porous structure, which offer the aerogel evaporators excellent water evaporation behavior with an evaporation rate of 3.12 kg m -2 h -1 in natural seawater under 1-sun irradiation. The self-propulsion ability and self-healing property of such solar evaporators provide the advantages of enhanced purification efficiency, good durability, stability (maintain over 88.2% at the 10th day), and high salt resistance (maintain 80% at 200 g kg -1 ). More notably, heavy-metal ions in water have been removed effectively to a drinkable level after evaporation. These results prove that the self-propelled aerogel solar evaporator holds great promise for practical applications for on-site water desalination and purification.
