We investigate the entanglement dynamics of a system that consists of four single-mode cavities that are spatially separated and connected by two optical fibers, with multiple two-level atoms trapped in each cavity. It is shown that the phenomenon of entanglement sudden death and sudden birth appears in this system and is sensitive to the initial conditions and the parameter r. In addition, we also study the entanglement and entangled state transfer between the atoms and find that a perfect transfer can be realized if the value of the parameter r satisfies a certain condition, established here. We investigate a two-level atom coupled to a cavity with a strong classical driving field in a dissipative environment and find an analytical expression for the time evolution density matrix for the system. The analytical density operator is then used to study the entanglement between the atom and cavity by considering the competing process between the atom-field interactions and the field-environment interactions. It is shown that there is an optimal interaction time for generating atom-cavity entanglement. The fidelity susceptibility and trace distance in the valence‐bond‐solid (VBS) transition of a quantum mixed spin chain is investigated, which consists of unit cells arrayed as 1/2‐1/2‐1‐1 with alternating Heisenberg antiferromagnetic exchange couplings, by using the density matrix renormalization group (DMRG) method in the matrix product state (MPS) form. It is observed that the fidelity susceptibility and the first derivative of the trace distance display explicit divergence near the quantum critical point. The information about the quantum criticality, such as the quantum critical point and correlation length critical exponent, is extracted from the finite size scaling behaviors. The obtained quantum critical point is more accurate than previous work, and the existence of the scaling function of the trace distance near the critical point is observed numerically for the first time. In addition, it is also found that the trace distance between two sites can supplement the VBS picture for describing the change of the ground state as the control parameter is varied through the quantum critical point. The influence of weak measurement along with quantum measurement reversal on the Rydberg atoms system is investigated, and is found to have an important practical significance as both weak measurement along with quantum measurement reversal and Rydberg atoms system can be experimentally realized. The quantum coherence and the entropic uncertainty relation of the system are explored, and it is found that the quantum coherence of the system is enhanced and the values of uncertainty and the uncertainty bound are reduced under some particular weak measurements along with quantum measurement reversals. This indicates that the decoherence effect of the system can be weakened by weak measurement along with quantum measurement reversal. Furthermore, the trace distance which is a reflection of the entanglement is also examined, and it is shown that weak measurement along with quantum measurement reversal can improve the entanglement of the system. Background: Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) is a heterogeneous disease with recurrent gene mutations and variations in disease-associated gene expression, which may be useful for prognostic prediction. Methods: RNA matrix and clinical data of AML were downloaded from GEO, TCGA, and TARGET databases. Prognostic metabolic genes were identified by LASSO analysis to establish a metabolic model. Prognostic accuracy of the model was quantified by time-dependent receiver operating characteristic curves and the area under the curve (AUC). Survival analysis was performed by log-rank tests. Enriched pathways in different metabolic risk statuses were evaluated by gene set enrichment analyses (GSEA). Results: We identified nine genes to construct a prognostic model of shorter survival in the high-risk vs. low-risk group. The prognostic model showed good predictive efficacy, with AUCs for 5-year overall survival of 0.78 (0.73–0.83), 0.76 (0.62–0.89), and 0.66 (0.57–0.75) in the training, adult external, and pediatric external cohorts, respectively. Multivariable analysis demonstrated that the metabolic signature had independent prognostic value with hazard ratios of 2.75 (2.06–3.66), 1.89 (1.09–3.29), and 1.96 (1.00–3.84) in the training, adult external, and pediatric external cohorts, respectively. Combining metabolic signatures and classic prognostic factors improved 5-year overall survival prediction compared to the prediction by classic prognostic factors (p < 0.05). GSEA revealed that most pathways were metabolism-related, indicating potential mechanisms. Puerarin is an active ingredient of pueraria, which has been developed for puerarin injections, used in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases including arrhythmia, myocardial ischemia and hypertension. However, the molecular mechanisms of puerarin on ischemia/reperfusion (I/R)‑induced myocardial apoptosis in diabetic rats are not fully understood. The present study aimed to investigate whether puerarin can attenuate I/R‑induced myocardial apoptosis in diabetic rats, and to investigate the underlying mechanism. A hemodynamic analyzing system was employed to analyze the left ventricular developed pressure (LVDP), the left ventricular end‑systolic interior dimension (LVIDs) and the left ventricular end diastolic interior dimension (LVIDd). ELISA kits were used to analyze malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD), tumor necrosis factor‑α (TNF‑α) and interleukin (IL)‑6 levels, NO production and caspase‑3 activity. Nuclear factor (NF)‑κB, ascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA), angiotensin (Ang)‑I, phosphorylated (p)‑endothelial nitric oxide synthase protein expression was analyzed using western blot analysis. Puerarin significantly reduced the myocardial infarct area, and increased left ventricular developed pressure in diabetic rats with myocardial I/R. Oxidative stress, inflammation and nuclear factor‑κB protein expression were significantly reduced by puerarin. Furthermore, puerarin activated the protein expression levels of VEGFA and Ang‑I, and increased nitric oxide production, phosphorylated‑endothelial nitric oxide synthase protein expression and caspase‑3 activity. These results demonstrated that the myocardial protective effect of puerarin serves to reduce myocardial I/R injury, via upregulation of VEGFA/Ang‑1 and suppression of apoptosis, in diabetic rats with myocardial I/R. We investigate the dynamics of geometric quantum correlations for certain decoherence channels and discuss the necessary conditions for the existence of frozen geometric discord. As illustrative examples, we study the phenomenon of double sudden transitions in geometric discord for a system consisting of two noninteracting atoms inserted in two independent dissipative cavities and how the initial state parameters and decay rate of dissipative cavities affect the frozen time during which the geometric discord remains constant. We also explore the dynamics of geometric discord between two noninteracting atoms trapped in a common dissipative cavity and find that the geometric discord exhibits sudden transition between classical and quantum decoherence. The assessment of wheat hardness is very important in each of its production stages. A new kind of detection method of wheat hardness based on the erosion effect of laser ultrasonics is proposed in this paper. The numeric model of laser ultrasonics excited by the erosion effect is established based on the classical theory of heat conduction and the wave equation. Then five characteristic parameters of the longitudinal ultrasonic wave are extracted both in the time domain and the frequency domain by wavelet transform, which include the parameters of TF5, TF6, TF7, WF1 and WF2. Finally, a back propagation neural network is designed using these five parameters as the input of the network to test the hardness of the wheat. Numerous experiments are performed using 20 wheat samples with different hardness index. The results show that the maximal relative measurement error is about −2.24%, that the mean relative error is about 0.15%, and that the measurement method of wheat hardness based on the erosion effect of laser ultrasonics is feasible. We investigate the quantum discord dynamics in a cavity quantum electrodynamics system, which consists of two noninteracting two-level atoms driven by independent optical fields and classical fields, and find that the quantum discord vanishes only asymptotically although entanglement disappears suddenly during the time evolution in the absence of classical fields. It is shown that the amount of quantum discord can be increased by adjusting the classical driving fields because the increasing degree of the amount of quantum mutual information is greater than classical correlation by applying the classical driving fields. We investigate a two-level atom interacting with a quantized cavity field and a classical driving field in the presence of phase decoherence and find that a stationary quantum discord can arise in the interaction of the atom and cavity field as the time turns to infinity. We also find that the stationary quantum discord can be increased by applying a classical driving field. Furthermore, we explore the quantum discord dynamics of two identical non-interacting two-level atoms independently interacting with a quantized cavity field and a classical driving field in the presence of phase decoherence. Results show that the quantum discord between two atoms is more robust than entanglement under phase decoherence and the classical driving field can help to improve the amount of quantum discord of the two atoms. We propose a scheme for transferring entanglement through two independent arrays of coupled resonator waveguides, where a three-level atom is embedded in each resonator. We investigate the entanglement swapping of non-Gaussian states, including squeezed number states, two-mode photon-added states, and two-mode photon-subtracted squeezed states and analyze the entanglement of the swapped states by adopting logarithmic negativity as the measure of entanglement. Furthermore, we examine the fidelity of teleportation protocols for different input states where the swapped states serve as the quantum channel. We investigate the entanglement swapping of the continuous variable states by taking the pair Schrödinger cat states as the input entangled states, in which the two-mode squeezed vacuum and the pair cat states serve as the quantum channel, respectively.
