Aiming at the large-scale application of metasurface in the field of radar stealth, we present a hybrid resonance-based and dispersion substrate integrated checkerboard metasurface (CMS) for reducing the radar cross section (RCS) of flat metallic targets. Considering the frequency-dependent characteristics of such a dispersion material, a pair of single and dual resonant artificial magnetic conductor meta-atoms with the modified "crusades-like" cell topologies is employed to maximize the operating bandwidth; besides, a comprehensive and thorough investigation on the resonance mechanism is conducted in this paper to provide an intuitive physical insight of meta-atoms' reflection responses. By comparing the predicted results with simulations, the quasi-periodic effect is introduced to explain the frequency shift of 10 dB RCS reduction bandwidth. In the implementation procedure, a prototype of the designed RCS reducer with a total dimension of 180 × 180 mm2 is fabricated and measured, the 10 dB RCS reduction bandwidth of theoretical simulation and experimental measurement are basically consistent, and the performance improvement of 8 dB RCS reduction in the experimental results can be attributed to the dispersion effects of the dielectric substrate. The mental health challenges among Chinese college students have become a pressing social concern. This study examined the relationship between parental support for exercise and depression among freshmen and also explored the mediating role of physical exercise and physical self-esteem. Utilizing the Parental Exercise Support Scale, Depression Self-Rating Scale, Physical Activity Rating Scale, and Physical Self-Esteem Scale, a questionnaire survey was conducted. Convenient samples from two universities were recruited by university teachers, which included 766 university freshmen. Correlation and linear regression analyses were employed to assess the overall associations while bootstrapping method was used to test mediation effects. Results indicated significant correlations between parental support for exercise and physical exercise, physical self-esteem, and depression. Physical exercise and physical self-esteem were found to mediate the relationship between parental support for exercise and depression, both individually and sequentially. These findings highlight the potential association between parental support for exercise and the mental health of college freshmen and also offer a mechanism to understand this association. Background: The purpose of this study was to predict the risk factors for residual lesions in patients with high-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia who underwent total hysterectomy. Methods: This retrospective study included 212 patients with histologically confirmed high-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN2-3) who underwent hysterectomy within 6 months after loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP). Clinical data (e.g., age, menopausal status, HPV type, and Liquid-based cytology test(LCT) type), as well as pathological data affiliated with endocervical curettage (ECC), colposcopy, LEEP and hysterectomy, were retrieved from medical records. A logistic regression model was applied to estimate the relationship between the variables and risk of residual lesions after hysterectomy. Results: Overall, 75 (35.4%) patients had residual lesions after hysterectomy. Univariate analyses revealed that positive margin (p = 0.003), glandular involvement (p = 0.017), positive ECC (p < 0.01), HPV16/18 infection (p = 0.032) and vaginal intraepithelial neoplasia (VaIN) I-III (p = 0.014) were factors related to the presence of residual lesions after hysterectomy. Conversely, postmenopausal status, age ≥ 50 years, ≤ 30 days from LEEP to hysterectomy, and LCT type were not risk factors for residual lesions. A positive margin (p = 0.025) and positive ECC (HSIL) (p < 0.001) were identified as independent risk factors for residual lesions in multivariate analysis. Conclusions: Our study revealed that positive incisal margins and ECC (≥ CIN2) were risk factors for residual lesions, while glandular involvement and VaIN were protective factors. In later clinical work, colposcopic pathology revealed that glandular involvement was associated with a reduced risk of residual uterine lesions. 60% of the patients with residual uterine lesions were menopausal patients, and all patients with carcinoma in situ in this study were menopausal patients. Therefore, total hysterectomy may be a better choice for treating CIN in menopausal patients with positive margins and positive ECC. A series of novel near-infrared (NIR) xanthene-chalcone fluorophores were constructed through a modular synthesis with the electron-donating xanthene moiety and the electron-withdrawing chalcone moiety. These fluorophores are convenient for fluorescence imaging in living cells, benefiting from their NIR emissions (650–710 nm), large Stokes shifts (>100 nm), moderate quantum yields and low cytotoxicity. The substituted hydroxyl group of the xanthene-chalcone fluorophore HCA-E facilitates the development of multifunctional fluorescent probes. As an example, a highly sensitive and selective probe N-HCA-E for glutathione (GSH) detection was developed based on the fluorophore HCA-E. A 4-nitrobenzenesulfonyl (4-Ns) group was introduced to cage the hydroxyl group of HCA-E, which was used as a selective recognition site for the thiol of GSH and an effective fluorescence quencher. Probe N-HCA-E revealed NIR "turn-on" fluorescence (709 nm) for endogenous and exogenous GSH detection in lysosomes with a large Stokes shift (129 nm) and high anti-interference ability. The utilization of supramolecular deep eutectic solvent eddy-assisted liquid–liquid microextraction utilizing 2-hydroxypropyl β-cyclodextrin (SUPRADES) has been identified as a successful method for pre-enriching Cu, Zn, and Mn in vegetable oil samples. Determination of each element was conducted by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) after digestion of metal-enriched phases. Various parameters were examined, including the composition of SUPRADES species [2HP-β-CD: DL-lactic acid], a cyclodextrin mass ratio of 20 wt%, a water bath temperature of 75 °C, an extractor volume of 800 μL, a dispersant volume of 50 μL, and an eddy current time of 5 min. Optimal conditions resulted in extraction rates of 99.6% for Cu, 105.2% for Zn, and 101.5% for Mn. The method exhibits a broad linear range spanning from 10 to 20,000 μg L−1, with determination coefficients exceeding 0.99 for all analytes. Enrichment coefficients of 24, 21, and 35 were observed. Limits of detection ranged from 0.89 to 1.30 μg L−1, while limits of quantification ranged from 3.23 to 4.29 μg L−1. Polarization detection plays an essential role in a wide range of fields, including target identification, 3D reconstruction, and robotic vision. Self‐driven on‐chip full‐Stokes photodetectors are urgently required to meet the trend of miniaturization and integration. Nevertheless, how to fulfill efficient circular and linear polarimetry simultaneously with sufficient recognition effectiveness in a compact device is a great challenge. Herein, a patterned chiral perovskite film is fabricated by imprinting strategy, and vertically‐structured self‐driven Stokes photodetector is demonstrated, which can recognize various polarization states at 0 V. Through patterned design of the chiral perovskite film by integrating circle and nanowire structure, flexible tuning of circular and linear polarization components within the detector is achieved, enabling the detector to strike a balance between circular and linear polarization detection ability when recognizing arbitrary polarization light. The maximum circular polarization sensitivity factor and linear polarization ratio can reach 0.125 and 1.5, respectively. By optimizing well‐defined patterned shape, the resultant detector can recognize polarized light with an average recognition error <7%. This work opens an avenue toward the fabrication of self‐driven filterless Stokes detectors based on patterned chiral perovskite film for accurate detection of arbitrary polarization states. The self-piercing riveting is a major mechanical joining technique to join dissimilar lightweight materials, which has been widely used in the automotive industry. However, the die-casting aluminum sheet under the self-piercing riveted joint will generate cracks on the joint button due to the low ductility of the die-casting aluminum. A new technique of local-thickened self-piercing riveting (LT-SPR) is proposed to solve the problem of cracking on joint buttons in this paper. The effect of process parameters on cracking on joint button are discussed systematically and experimentally. The joint quality, mechanical properties, and failure mode of the LT-SPR joints are studied compared to the conventional SPR (C-SPR) joints. It is concluded that crack-free joints can be obtained in a wide range of rivet-die combinations using LT-SPR. Compared with the C-SPR joints, LT-SPR joints have larger forming quality indexes, smaller riveting force, smaller bending deformation, and better mechanical properties. For the LT-SPR process, the mechanical properties and failure mode are highly dependent on the rivet length, and larger rivet length can cause rivet fracture failure in the LT-SPR. The energy absorption of the joints that failed in interlock failure is superior to that of joints with rivet fracture failure, and joint strength is not affected by rivet fracture failure. Chloride attack severely impacts the performance of reinforced concrete. The total and free chloride ion concentration (CIC) of self-compacting concrete (SCC) prepared with three supplementary cementitious materials (SCM) – fly ash (FA), blast furnace slag (BS) and silica fume (SF) – were measured by accelerated salt immersion tests. The apparent chloride diffusion coefficient (CDC) at any exposure time and erosion depth were calculated using the Boltzmann–Matano method. The influence of the type and content of SCM, the water–binder ratio (W/B) and the type of salt solution on CIC and CDC were investigated. Both the introduction of SCM and the reduction of W/B effectively reduced the CIC. The SCM that most effectively reduced CIC was SF, followed by BS and then FA. Free CIC was reduced to a greater degree than total CIC in FA and BS concrete, but the opposite was true for SF concrete. The presence of calcium chloride in salt solution increased total CIC while reducing free CIC. Apparent free CDC dropped over exposure time and initially increased with erosion depth but eventually stabilised. A model of apparent free CDC considering time–depth dependency was created, which shows that time reduction factors of CDC is greater in SCC containing SCM than in control SCC. Background: Allergen immunotherapy (AIT) is the only disease-modifying therapy that can achieve immune tolerance in patients through long-term allergen stimulation. Glycans play crucial roles in allergic disease, but no information on changes in glycosylation related to an allergic tolerance status has been reported. Methods: Fifty-seven patients with house dust mite (HDM) allergies were enrolled. Twenty-eight patients were not treated with AIT, 19 patients had just entered the AIT maintenance treatment phase, and 10 patients had been in the AIT maintenance phase for more than 1 year. Serum protein N-glycans were analyzed by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS), which included linkage-specific sialylation information. Results: Eighty-four N-glycans were identified in all three groups. Compared with the patients treated without AIT, the patients treated with AIT for a shorter time showed downregulated expression of high-mannose glycans and upregulated expression of α2,6 sialic acid. The patients treated with AIT in the maintenance phase for over 1 year, which was considered the start of immunological tolerance, showed downregulated expression of biantennary N-glycans and upregulated expression of multibranched and complex N-glycans. Nine N-glycans were changed between allergic and allergic-tolerant patients. Conclusions: The glycan form changed from mannose to a more complex type as treatment time increased, and multibranched complex glycans have the potential to be used as a monitoring indicator of immune tolerance. This work describes the preparation and properties of a novel category of thermosetting microwave absorbing composite materials. The composites were prepared by a simple solution casting process, employing high temperature resistant polysilylaryl-enyne (abbreviated as PSAE) resin as matrix and perovskite CaMnO 3 (abbreviated as CMO) ceramic filler as absorbent filler. The microstructure, electromagnetic, wave absorbing and thermal properties of the CMO-PSAE composites were all examined. The results showed that the increasing fraction of CaMnO 3 filler not only densified the microstructure of the composites, but also greatly improved their temperature resistance, thermal conductivity and wave absorption properties. The CMO-PSAE composite doped with 50 vol% CaMnO 3 ceramic filler showed the strongest ability to absorb electromagnetic waves, with an effective absorption bandwidth (EAB) of 4.16 GHz and a minimum reflection loss is −53.01 dB. Besides, the thermal conductivity of the composite reached 1.106 W/(m·K). Furthermore, this composite material has exceptional thermal resistance, with the highest T d5 reaching 650 °C. Composites with varying doping levels can be used for specific performance needs in practical scenarios. The Seebeck effect in graphene with uniform Kekulé lattice distortion has been studied using the tight-binding model combined with the nonequilibrium Green's function method. The numerical results of this work show that the Seebeck coefficient of the O-shaped Kekulé graphene can be enhanced by modulating the gate voltage. At room temperature (T ≈ 300 K), the Seebeck coefficient for the armchair nanoribbon is S c ≈ 1370 μV/K and for the zigzag nanoribbon is S c ≈ 1260 μV/K. At low temperature (T ≈ 128 K), the Seebeck coefficient for the armchair nanoribbon is S c ≈ 2500 μV/K. In addition, the nano-structuration of the O-shaped Kekulé graphene layer induces an anisotropic behavior in the Seebeck effect. This article discusses a study conducted in a temperate grassland in China that examined the impact of nitrogen (N) input on soil bacterial and fungal communities. The study found that increasing N input resulted in a decrease in the complexity of soil bacterial co-occurrence networks, indicating a decline in competitive interactions but strengthened cooperative interactions. However, N input did not have an effect on soil fungal network complexity. The study also revealed that N input influenced bacterial life history strategy, favoring copiotrophs and increasing the r-/K-strategy ratio. The reduction in bacterial co-occurrence network complexity was directly influenced by the increased bacterial r-/K-strategy ratio. Analytical thermal modeling is expected to be an efficient method for a rational heat dissipation strategy and quality assurance of products in oblique cutting processes. In contrast, conventional metal-cutting models are mainly limited to applications for lack of comprehensive analysis and unsustainable experimental validation. In this study, an improved analytical approach based on the velocity plane, including the cutting velocities, is proposed to determine the spatial distribution of heat source associated with the cutting edge inclination for addressing the geometrical complexity in the oblique cutting process. The model comprehensively considers the negative rake angle and the cutting edge inclination, nonuniform contact stress distribution at the tool–chip interface, and nonuniform partition of heat between the cutting tool and workpiece to predict the temperature distribution at the tool-chip/work interface in the oblique cutting process. To evaluate the model, a novel temperature measurement method, which can monitor the on-site temperature rise at the tool-chip/workpiece interface, was integrated at the multiple positions near the cutting edge. Experimental values measured by the sensor-integrated tool showed good consistency with the predicted value calculated using the analytical thermal model. The injection of a polymer chain into a small circular cavity under tangential self-propelled force is studied by using Langevin dynamics simulation. Results indicate that the injection dynamics of the active polymer shows strong correlation with the polymer conformation inside the cavity depending on the polymer rigidity (kb). The injection time τ varies nonmonotonously with increasing kb, and reaches its minimum at kb*. When kb is small (kb ≪ kb*), the polymer is nearly random coil in the cavity, and spends a long time at the final stage of the injection process due to the large repulsion between monomers inside the cavity. When kb is moderate (kb ∼ kb*), the part of polymer inside the cavity forms spiral configuration under the tangential active force, and the whole polymer moves synchronously with a constant velocity during the injection process, leading to a small injection time. When kb is large (kb ≫ kb*), the polymer is nearly straight at the initial stage of the injection process, and takes a long time to bend itself, leading to a large injection time. In this study, tension‐tension fatigue tests were conducted to investigate the residual stiffness degradation of carbon fiber‐reinforced polymer (CFRP) tendons. Different stress levels were used in the tests, and measurements of residual stiffness and the number of loading cycles were taken. Based on experimental data for CFRP tendons, a quantitative residual stiffness model was developed by modifying Yao's model. This model is applicable to various stress levels. To assess its accuracy and applicability, the predicted results of this model were compared with those of cited models from other researchers. The findings revealed a three‐stage degradation of residual stiffness in CFRP tendons under different stress levels. Furthermore, it was observed that the proportion of fatigue life accounted for by Stage III decreased with smaller stress ranges, while the proportion accounted for by Stage II increased. The proposed quantitative residual stiffness model was verified using both experimental and cited data. In this study, the interaction force between an in‐plane elliptical inclusion and a crack is evaluated using the Eshelby equivalent inclusion and material configurational force method. The toughening effect of coarse aggregates on concrete is investigated. The fracture criteria for mixed‐mode cracks based on the characteristics of the crack‐tip plastic zone assessed by the principal configurational stress difference are proposed and verified by experimental results in the literature. The fracture probability is then used to improve the fracture criteria, and the dimensionless factor associated with stress intensity factors is introduced to determine the fracture probability. Additionally, the volume fraction of coarse aggregates, the age and fatigue life of concrete are considered in the present fracture criteria. Theoretical studies show that the interaction between a crack and a hard or soft inclusion exhibits mutual repulsion and attraction. The size and shape of the crack‐tip plastic zones assessed by the Mises stress and the principal configurational stress difference are essentially the same. The fracture load envelopes increase with the increase in the volume fraction of coarse aggregates and the age of concrete and shrink with the increase in the life ratio. Background: Vestibular migraine (VM) and Menière's disease (MD) are two common causes of recurrent spontaneous vertigo. Using history, video-nystagmography and audiovestibular tests, we developed machine learning models to separate these two disorders. Methods: We recruited patients with VM or MD from a neurology outpatient facility. One hundred features from six "feature subsets": history, acute video-nystagmography and four laboratory tests (video head impulse test, vestibular-evoked myogenic potentials, caloric testing and audiogram) were used. We applied ten machine learning algorithms to develop classification models. Modelling was performed using three "tiers" of data availability to simulate three clinical settings. "Tier 1" used all available data to simulate the neuro-otology clinic, "Tier 2" used only history, audiogram and caloric test data, representing the general neurology clinic, and "Tier 3" used history alone as occurs in primary care. Model performance was evaluated using tenfold cross-validation. Results: Data from 160 patients with VM and 114 with MD were used for model development. All models effectively separated the two disorders for all three tiers, with accuracies of 85.77–97.81%. The best performing algorithms (AdaBoost and Random Forest) yielded accuracies of 97.81% (95% CI 95.24–99.60), 94.53% (91.09–99.52%) and 92.34% (92.28–96.76%) for tiers 1, 2 and 3. The best feature subset combination was history, acute video-nystagmography, video head impulse test and caloric testing, and the best single feature subset was history. Conclusions: Machine learning models can accurately differentiate between VM and MD and are promising tools to assist diagnosis by medical practitioners with diverse levels of expertise and resources. Two low-pressure ultraviolet (UV) lamps at 185/254 nm with sodium persulfate in a pilot UV device were utilized for the degradation of reactive red (B-3BF) dye wastewater compared with two UV lamps at 185/185 nm and two UV lamps at 254/254 nm. The degradation performances of UV irradiation (254/185 nm) with sodium persulfate under different degradation times, flow rates, initial pH, initial Na2S2O8 concentrations and initial dye concentrations were investigated. The experimental results illustrated that the degradation percentage of B-3BF dye could reduce to 90.42% with the energy consumption of 85.1 kWh/kg and the residual dye concentration of 1.92 mg/L by UV irradiation (254/185 nm) with initial Na2S2O8 concentration of 1.5 mmol/L and initial dye concentration of 20 mg/L. In addition, degradation performance of B-3BF dye wastewater by UV irradiation (254/185 nm) with sodium persulfate was more effective than those of UV irradiation (254/254 nm) and UV irradiation (185/185 nm). Proteolysis-targeting chimeras (PROTACs) technology has garnered significant attention over the last 10 years, representing a burgeoning therapeutic approach with the potential to address pathogenic proteins that have historically posed challenges for traditional small-molecule inhibitors. PROTACs exploit the endogenous E3 ubiquitin ligases to facilitate degradation of the proteins of interest (POIs) through the ubiquitin–proteasome system (UPS) in a cyclic catalytic manner. Despite recent endeavors to advance the utilization of PROTACs in clinical settings, the majority of PROTACs fail to progress beyond the preclinical phase of drug development. There are multiple factors impeding the market entry of PROTACs, with the insufficiently precise degradation of favorable POIs standing out as one of the most formidable obstacles. Recently, there has been exploration of new-generation advanced PROTACs, including small-molecule PROTAC prodrugs, biomacromolecule-PROTAC conjugates, and nano-PROTACs, to improve the in vivo efficacy of PROTACs. These improved PROTACs possess the capability to mitigate undesirable physicochemical characteristics inherent in traditional PROTACs, thereby enhancing their targetability and reducing off-target side effects. The new-generation of advanced PROTACs will mark a pivotal turning point in the realm of targeted protein degradation. In this comprehensive review, we have meticulously summarized the state-of-the-art advancements achieved by these cutting-edge PROTACs, elucidated their underlying design principles, deliberated upon the prevailing challenges encountered, and provided an insightful outlook on future prospects within this burgeoning field. Hydrogen is a clean energy in the world and by-product hydrogen is an important part of global hydrogen production. The yield of by-product hydrogen accounts for 18% of hydrogen production globally. To analyze the current stage and calculate CO 2 emissions reduction of by-product hydrogen, sources, purification technology, utilization models, comparison of by-product hydrogen and other hydrogen resources, reduction of CO 2 emissions, prospects of industrial by-product hydrogen were analyzed from the respective of industrial utilization. The resources of by-product hydrogen will get expanded further. It can facilitate the utilization of industrial by-product hydrogen to establish industrial zone with the factories producing by-product hydrogen and the downstream factories utilizing by-product hydrogen under the current technology conditions. By analyzing the relevant data, it is calculated that the utilization of industrial by-product hydrogen can reduce CO 2 emissions by 6.11x105 t per year in 2022. With the development of hydrogen purification technology, by-product hydrogen can provide an efficient and economical way to reduce CO 2 emissions for global warming migration before the completion of green hydrogen substitution for other hydrogen. Fuberidazole and pirimicarb are carbamate pesticides for insect control. There is pesticide accumulation through the food chain that may ultimately migrate into the human body through the crayfish. Here a rapid method for simultaneous determination of fuberidazole and pirimicarb in crayfish is reported. The excitation-emission fluorescence matrix was obtained by simple pretreatment of crayfish meat using acetonitrile, and qualitative and quantitative information was separated from overlapping spectra using the self-weighted alternating trilinear decomposition. The detection limits of the pesticides for fuberidazole and pirimicarb were 0.068 mg/kg and 0.160 mg/kg, respectively, and the limits of quantitation were 0.207 mg/kg and 0.485 mg/kg. The average recoveries were 90.79% and 98.77%. The results show that a combination of excitation-emission fluorescence matrix and alternating trilinear decomposition can be used for the determination of fuberidazole and pirimicarb in crayfish with simple pretreatment using acetonitrile. Ligand modulation of the electrical properties and surface solvation plays a crucial role in the development of functionalized colloidal quantum dots (CQDs) inks for solution‐processed optoelectronics. While inorganic halide ionic ligands can facilitate the n‐type doping of PbS CQDs and establish an electrical double layer in polar solvents for stable high‐concentration n‐type CQD inks, a plausible solvation strategy is still lacking to stabilize p‐type PbS CQDs, thereby resulting in a tedious multi‐step deposition involving short‐chain dithiol molecular ligands for advanced heterojunction CQD solar cells. Here an effective hydrogen bonding solvation strategy is proposed using 2‐mercaptoethanol (ME) ligands to realize stable p‐type PbS CQD ink. This strategy enables DMSO to form a dense solvation layer surrounding the ME‐modified PbS CQDs. With this approach, the PbS‐ME CQD ink exhibits a photoluminescence quantum yield of 52.03%, which is the highest record for PbS CQD inks. Finally, one‐step deposition of a p‐type PbS‐ME layer for PbS CQD photovoltaics is successfully achieved with an impressive power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 10.91%. In solid‐state lithium metal batteries (SSLMBs), the inhomogeneous electrolyte‐electrode interphase layer aggravates the interfacial stability, leading to discontinuous interfacial ion/charge transport and continuous degradation of the electrolyte. Herein, we constructed an anion‐modulated ionic conductor (AMIC) that enables in situ construction of electrolyte/electrode interphases for high‐voltage SSLMBs by exploiting conformational transitions under multiple interactions between polymer and lithium salt anions. Anions modulate the decomposition behavior of supramolecular poly (vinylene carbonate) (PVC) at the electrode interface by changing the spatial conformation of the polymer chains, which further enhances ion transport and stabilizes the interfacial morphology. In addition, the AMIC weakens the "Li+‐solvation" and increases Li+ vehicle sites, thereby enhancing the lithium‐ion transport number (tLi+=~0.67). Consequently, Li || LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 cell maintains about 85 % capacity retention and Coulombic efficiency >99.8 % in 200 cycles at a charge cut‐off voltage of 4.5 V. Direct methanol fuel cells (DMFC) are a promising new energy source. However, the lack of high-performance and low-cost methanol oxidation electrocatalysts hinders their commercial application. Firstly, we successfully prepared NENU-5-derived molybdenum carbide material (Cu-MoC) via a co-precipitation and high-temperature carbonization method using a material composed of a copper-based metal–organic skeleton and a molybdenum-based carbide as the main body. Secondly, PtCu nano-alloy catalysts (Pt/Cu-MoC) were prepared using a unique, spontaneous single replacement reaction after metal–organic skeleton (MOF) carbonization. Through the synergistic effect between Pt and Cu and the strong interaction between Mo2C and PtCu, the electronic structure of the Pt is modified, the energy of the d-band center is reduced, electron exchange is accelerated, and catalytic activity is enhanced. Compared with a commercial Pt/C catalyst in alkaline environments, the Pt0.10/Cu-MoC catalyst has a better MOR catalytic activity (563.25 mA mgPt−1), which is 1.5 times higher than that of commercial Pt/C (376.67 mA mgPt−1). The Pt0.10/Cu-MoC catalyst has an onset potential for CO oxidation that is 16 mV lower than that of commercial Pt/C, indicating better resistance to CO poisoning. Exploring carbon materials derived from MOFs with excellent junction support and using them as carriers to prepare Pt-based catalysts is a practical and feasible approach. Background: Certain studies have indicated a link between obstructive sleep apnea and insulin resistance in specific populations. To gain more clarity, extensive research involving a broad sample of the overall population is essential. The primary objective of this study was to investigate this correlation by utilizing data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey database. Methods: The analysis incorporated data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey database spanning the time periods from 2005 to 2008 and from 2015 to 2018, with a focus on American adults aged 18 years and older after applying weight adjustments. Key variables such as obstructive sleep apnea, triglyceride glucose index, and various confounding factors were considered. A generalized linear logistic regression model was used to investigate the association between obstructive sleep apnea and the triglyceride glucose index, with additional exploration of the consistency of the results through hierarchical analysis and other techniques. Results: The study included participants aged between 18 and 90 years, with an average age of 46.75 years. Among the total sample, 50.76% were male. The triglyceride glucose index demonstrated a diagnostic capability for obstructive sleep apnea, with an AUC of 0.701 (95% CI: 0.6619–0.688). According to the fully adjusted model, individuals in the fourth quartile of the triglyceride glucose index showed an increased likelihood of having obstructive sleep apnea compared to those in the first quartile (OR: 1.45; 95% CI: 1.02–2.06; P < 0.05). Subgroup analysis indicated that male sex (OR: 2.09; 95% CI: 1.76–2.45; P < 0.05), younger age (OR: 2.83; 95% CI: 2.02–3.96; P < 0.05), white ethnicity (OR: 2.29; 95% CI: 1.93–2.73; P < 0.05), and obesity (OR: 1.54; 95% CI: 1.28–1.85; P < 0.05) were correlated with an elevated risk of OSA. Conclusions: This study demonstrated a strong association between an elevated TG index and OSA. Phylogenetic and morphological analyses on Perenniporia s.l. were carried out. Phylogenies on Perenniporia s.l. are reconstructed with two loci DNA sequences including the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) regions and the large subunit (nLSU). Two new species from Yunnan Province, southwest China, Perenniporia prunicola and P. rosicola in Perenniporia s.l., are illustrated and described. Perenniporia prunicola is characterised by the perennial and resupinate basidiomata with a clay pink pore surface when fresh, a trimitic hyphal system, the presence of clavate to fusiform hymenial cystidia, ellipsoid to broadly ellipsoid basidiospores measuring 4.8–6.2 × 3.6–4.5 µm. Perenniporia rosicola is characterised by annual and resupinate basidiomata with a white pore surface when fresh, a dimitic hyphal system, the presence of dendrohyphidia, broadly ellipsoid to subglobose basidiospores measuring 5–5.8 × 4–5.2 μm. In addition, Crassisporus is a genus in Perenniporia s.l., in which two new combinations Crassisporus minutus and C. mollissimus are proposed. Accurate bearing‐time recordings play a crucial role in hydroacoustic target motion analysis and situation estimation. The target bearing estimated by vector hydrophone in the interference environment suffers from poor display and low signal‐to‐noise ratio. To solve this problem, a two‐stage bearing‐only motion analysis method is proposed. Firstly, the bearing peak information and bearing dispersion are extracted for each sampling moment of the bearing‐time recording. Custom constraint regions and adaptive parameters are then set based on this information. The order truncate average algorithm is improved to enhance the quality of the low‐quality bearing‐time recording map. Secondly, a bearing‐only target motion model is established based on the bearing‐time recording distribution features, and a bearing‐time recording trust interval is constructed. Then a modified pseudo‐linear estimation algorithm is proposed to solve the target motion situation information, including target abeam time, target abeam bearing, target course, velocity‐to‐initial‐distance ratio, and so forth. Finally, by comparing the solved values of the sea trial data with the automatic identification system calculation results, the enhancement effect of the target bearing‐time recording map is significant and the solving error of the target motion elements meets the needs of engineering applications. The propagation characteristics of elastic waves in polycrystalline materials depend not only on grain size, but also on grain size distribution. In this paper, based on Weaver's polycrystalline scattering model, two grain size distribution models, namely the truncated lognormal distribution and the fractal distribution based on fractal dimension, are considered. At the same time, the ultrasonic attenuation of polycrystalline materials is studied by considering the existence of finite interval of grain size. The grain size of the classical lognormal distribution ranges from zero to infinity, which is inconsistent with the actual situation. The present work modifies Turner's study based on the lognormal distribution and compares the numerical results with Turner's. The numerical results obtained from the two kinds of distributions show that the scattering attenuation in the Rayleigh scattering region is affected by both the grain size distribution and the average grain size. In the transition scattering region, the attenuation of P-wave scattering is related to the average grain size and size distribution, while the attenuation of S-wave scattering is mainly affected by the average grain size. In the stochastic scattering region, the scattering attenuation is mainly affected by the average grain size and is not sensitive to the grain size distribution. Moreover, the numerical results also show that the difference of scattering attenuation due to the grain size distribution is most obvious in the Rayleigh scattering region. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study investigated the interfacial reactions between n-type Bi2(Te,Se)3 thermoelectric material, characterized by a highly-oriented (110) plane, and pure Sn and Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu (wt.%) solders, respectively. At 250 °C, the liquid-state Sn/Bi2(Te,Se)3 reactions resulted in the formation of both SnTe and BiTe phases, with Bi-rich particles dispersed within the SnTe phase. The growth of the SnTe phase exhibited diffusion-controlled parabolic behavior over time. In contrast, the growth rate was considerably slower compared to that observed with p-type (Bi,Sb)2Te3. Solid-state Sn/Bi2(Te,Se)3 reactions conducted between 160 °C and 200 °C exhibited similar interfacial microstructures. The SnTe phase remained the primary reaction product, embedded with tiny Bi-rich particles, revealing a diffusion-controlled growth. However, the BiTe layer had no significant growth. Further investigation into growth kinetics of intermetallic compounds and microstructural evolution was conducted to elucidate the reaction mechanism. The slower growth rates in Bi2(Te,Se)3, compared to the reactions with (Bi,Sb)2Te3, could be attributed to the strong suppression effect of Se on SnTe growth. Additionally, the interfacial reactions of Bi2(Te,Se)3 with Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu were also examined, showing similar growth behavior to those observed with Sn solder. Notably, compared with Ag, Cu tends to diffuse towards the interfacial reaction phases, resulting in a high Cu solubility within the SnTe phase. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Summary: Sleep loss impairs cognition; however, individuals differ in their response to sleep loss. Current methods to identify an individual's vulnerability to sleep loss involve time‐consuming sleep‐loss challenges and neurobehavioural tests. Here, we sought to identify electroencephalographic markers of sleep‐loss vulnerability obtained from routine night sleep. We retrospectively analysed four studies in which 50 healthy young adults (21 women) completed a laboratory baseline‐sleep phase followed by a sleep‐loss challenge. After classifying subjects as resilient or vulnerable to sleep loss, we extracted three electroencephalographic features from four channels during the baseline nights, evaluated the discriminatory power of these features using the first two studies (discovery), and assessed reproducibility of the results using the remaining two studies (reproducibility). In the discovery analysis, we found that, compared to resilient subjects, vulnerable subjects exhibited: (1) higher slow‐wave activity power in channel O1 (p < 0.0042, corrected for multiple comparisons) and in channels O2 and C3 (p < 0.05, uncorrected); (2) higher slow‐wave activity rise rate in channels O1 and O2 (p < 0.05, uncorrected); and (3) lower sleep spindle frequency in channels C3 and C4 (p < 0.05, uncorrected). Our reproducibility analysis confirmed the discovery results on slow‐wave activity power and slow‐wave activity rise rate, and for these two electroencephalographic features we observed consistent group‐difference trends across all four channels in both analyses. The higher slow‐wave activity power and slow‐wave activity rise rate in vulnerable individuals suggest that they have a persistently higher sleep pressure under normal rested conditions. The effects of three additives, CaF 2 , TiO 2 and P 2 O 5 , on the crystallization, microstructure and properties of glass-ceramic glazes in the CaO–Al 2 O 3 –SiO 2 –ZrO 2 system were investigated in detail. The results showed that CaF 2 reduced the viscosity of the glaze and promoted the crystallization of t-ZrO 2 , as well as its conversion to ZrSiO 4. The addition of TiO 2 and P 2 O 5 produced a phase-separated structure that favored t-ZrO 2 crystallization but inhibited its transformation into ZrSiO 4. The stronger the phase separation, the more pronounced this inhibition was. In glass-ceramic glaze containing P 2 O 5 (named PG), t-ZrO 2 was present even at 1250 °C, about 100 °C higher than in conventional zirconium glazes. Further TEM-EDS mapping analysis revealed that Zr was preferentially dissolved in the P-rich droplets. The lack of SiO 2 and the diffusion barrier at the phase-separated interface were the main reasons for suppressing the transition from ZrO 2 to ZrSiO 4. After firing at 1200 °C, PG had a coexistence of ZrO 2 and ZrSiO 4 and exhibited optimal performance, with an L* value of 93.31, a whiteness of 86.5, a gloss of 91.9°, a hardness of 7.06 GPa and a roughness of 30.2 nm. This study evaluated the effects of reading text on an optical see-through head-mounted display during treadmill walking in a virtual environment. Thirty participants were recruited to perform Chinese reading tasks by reading six types of text layouts in two polarity settings. A virtual environment was displayed on a projection screen to simulate a walking situation in which obstacles were encountered. High- and low-density obstacles were applied. Objective measures included reading performance, gait variability, and the error count of obstacles. The subjective measures were the situational awareness rating technique (SART) and NASA-Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) scores. The results indicated that font size and polarity affected the gait variability, reading performance, situational awareness, and mental workload ratings. The obstacle density affects gait variability and situation awareness rating. To identify the anti-fibrosis effect of PRAS40 in scar, and its potential mechanism. We constructed a rat model of hypertrophic scarthat was locally injected the PRAS40 overexpression adenoviruses, mTORC1 inhibitor MHY1485 and activator rapamycin, and further observed the pathological changes of skin tissue and the severity of fibrosis by HE, Masson and sirius red staining, and analyzed the deposition of a-SMA and collagen I by western blot and immunofluorescence test. Meanwhile, the co-localization of KLF4 with a-SMA and type I collagen was analyzed, as well as the regulatory effect of PRAS40 on KLF4. In addition, we also verified whether the inhibition of scar fibrosis by PRAS40 is related to mTORC1, and whether the upregulation of KLF4 is related to mTORC1. The results showed that the expression of PRAS40 was low and p-PRAS40 was high in scar skin tissue. After local injection of PRAS40 overexpression adenovirus, the expression of PRAS40 in skin tissue was increased. The overexpression of PRAS40 can inhibit scar skin fibrosis and reduce the content of a-SMA and collagen I. Further mechanism analysis confirms that the inhibitory effect of PRAS40 on skin fibrosis is related to mTORC1, and PRAS40 inhibits the activation of mTORC1. The expression of KLF4 is relatively low in scar tissue. PRAS40 administration upregulated the expression of KLF4, which is related to mTORC1 PRAS40 significantly improves fibrosis of scar skin tissue and increases the expression of KLF4 in scars. The anti-fibrotic effect of PRAS40 depends on mTORC1. • Exogenous PRAS40 improved the scar fibrosis in the injured tissues of HS rats. • mTORC1 activation accelerates fibrosis degree in the injured skin. Large hoop truss antennas are locked into a stable structure during deployment in space. The key to characterizing the performance of each mechanism, and discovering problems in the deployment process, is the three-dimensional motion of the antenna. Therefore, it is important to measure antenna motion with high precision for antenna design. Contact measurement requires sensors to be attached to the object, affecting the motion of the antenna; thus, noncontact measurement is the preferred measurement method. For a large antenna, a large field of view and observation angle are required to measure the deployment process. Traditional binocular stereo vision measurement is not sufficiently accurate. In this paper, 36 cameras were combined into an array to measure antenna deployment. A high-precision triggering system was designed, a calibration method suitable for large-scale, multiangle measurement was developed, and a reconstruction method based on the geometric constraints was proposed, greatly improving measurement resolution. The camera array was used to measure the motion of a large hoop truss antenna with a diameter of 4 m during deployment. Observational studies have shown close associations between COVID-19 risk and cytokines, especially interleukins (ILs) and interferons (IFNs). However, the causal relationships between ILs, IFNs and COVID-19 were still unclear. To resolve the problem, we conducted a Mendelian randomization analysis between COVID-19 and 47 cytokines, including 35 ILs and 12 IFNs. First, three methods were applied to estimate causal effects by using single nucleotide polymorphisms as instrumental variables (IVs). Subsequently, the MR–Egger method was used to estimate the horizontal pleiotropy of IVs. Finally, sensitivity analyses were applied to assess the robustness of results. As a result, one IFN (IFN-W1) and five ILs (IL-5, IL-6, IL-13, IL-16 and IL-37) were identified to significantly decrease the COVID-19 risk. In contrast, one IFN (IFNG) and five ILs (IL-3, IL-8, IL-27, IL-31 and IL-36β) were found to be significantly associated with an increased risk of COVID-19. Representation learning serves as a crucial link between knowledge graphs and neural models. Knowledge graphs are typical symbolic models and require representation learning to obtain vector representations of entities and relationships. Existing efforts focus more on the structural characteristics of knowledge itself, such as the connections between entities and relationships under the same type of knowledge, neglecting the potential value of commonsense knowledge in guiding and constraining. In fact, commonsense knowledge implies the belonging tendency of entities in triplets. In this paper, we propose a novel knowledge representation learning model, CoolGust, which is guided and constrained by commonsense knowledge and can effectively utilize commonsense knowledge to seamlessly guide the belonging relationships of entities and enhance the model performance. Commonsense knowledge is essential for guiding humans to make wise decisions in unknown scenarios. We find that by utilizing commonsense knowledge as guides and constraints for entities, hidden knowledge entanglement structures can be formed in complex network applications, thereby constructing decisions consistent with situational logic. To verify the effectiveness of our model, we conducted experimental verification of two tasks, link prediction, and triple classification, on three public datasets. Aqueous zinc ion batteries have been extensively researched due to their distinctive advantages such as low cost and high safety. Vanadium oxides are important cathode materials, however, poor cycle life caused by vanadium dissolution limits their application. Recent studies show that the lattice NH4+ in vanadium oxides can act as a pillar to enhance structural stability and play a crucial role in improving its cycling stability. Nevertheless, there is still a lack of research on the effect of the lattice NH4+ content on structural evolution and electrochemical performance. Herein, we synthesize vanadium oxides with different contents of lattice NH4+ by a one‐step hydrothermal reaction. The vanadium oxides with lattice NH4+ exhibit high initial capacity, as well as good cycling stability and rate performance compared to bare vanadium oxide. Combined with electrochemical analyses, ex‐situ structural characterizations, and in‐situ X‐ray diffraction tests, we reveal that the lattice NH4+ content plays a positive role in vanadium oxides′ structural stability and cation diffusion kinetics. A wealth of evidence intimates a profound connection between the immune system and osteonecrosis, albeit the specific immune factors underlying this connection remain largely veiled. A bidirectional Mendelian randomization (MR) study was conducted based on genome-wide association study summary data to identify causal links between 731 immune factors and osteonecrosis including drug-induced osteonecrosis. Preliminary MR analysis was accomplished utilizing the inverse-variance weighted method under a multiplicative random effects model, and heterogeneity and potential horizontal pleiotropy were evaluated through Cochrane's Q-test, MR-Egger intercept test, MR-PRESSO global test, and leave-one-out analysis. Upon false discovery rate correction, the gene-predicted level of one immune factor (CD62L − monocyte %monocyte) exhibited a significant positive correlation with osteonecrosis, while eight immune traits associated with monocytes, dendritic cells, and NK cells demonstrated significant causal effects with drug-induced osteonecrosis. Iron-based materials with significant physicochemical properties, including high theoretical capacity, low cost and mechanical and thermal stability, have attracted research attention as electrode materials for alkali metal-ion batteries (AMIBs). However, practical implementation of some iron-based materials is impeded by their poor conductivity, large volume change, and irreversible phase transition during electrochemical reactions. In this review we critically assess advances in the chemical synthesis and structural design, together with modification strategies, of iron-based compounds for AMIBs, to obviate these issues. We assess and categorize structural and compositional regulation and its effects on the working mechanisms and electrochemical performances of AMIBs. We establish insight into their applications and determine practical challenges in their development. We provide perspectives on future directions and likely outcomes. We conclude that for boosted electrochemical performance there is a need for better design of structures and compositions to increase ionic/electronic conductivity and the contact area between active materials and electrolytes and to obviate the large volume change and low conductivity. Findings will be of interest and benefit to researchers and manufacturers for sustainable development of advanced rechargeable ion batteries using iron-based electrode materials. Aiming at rapid and economical damage detection of a large number of simple supported bridges, a new structural damage identification method under moving load based on variational mode decomposition (VMD) and deep learning is proposed. Firstly, a moving vehicle is used as an exciting load to invoke structural damage feature and enhance the signal-to-noise ratio, and the structural vertical acceleration response is extracted by a finite element simulating analysis under various damage cases. In order to simulate the influence of noise and expand the samples, Gaussian white noise is added to the extracted data, and then the response signal is decomposed into a series of intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) using VMD, and the optimal IMF component is selected as the damage sample of the structure. Then, a one-dimensional convolutional neural network (CNN) model is built and trained by the various samples of damage. The vibration response of the practical bridge is processed and inputted by the trained CNN model to identify the location of the damage and degree of the structure. Finally, the effectiveness and anti-noise performance of the proposed method are verified through numerical analysis and a simply supported beam bridge model experiment. The results show that the average identification accuracy of the numerical simulations and experimental is 93.4% and 86.8% with 20% Gaussian white noise, respectively. Sensors at different locations have almost the same identification effect for various cases of damage, so it is possible to identify structural damage only using a small amount of accelerometer. Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) was modified using D‐mannitol (DM) and 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazole bromide (BMIMBr) as the complex plasticizer (DB), and PVA/DB composite was prepared. The plasticizing effect of DB on PVA was studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), differntial scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermos gravimetric analysis (TGA) and melt flow indexer (MI). FT‐IR analysis indicated that Br− of BMIMBr and OH of DM could form H‐bonds with OH of PVA. With the increase of DB, the melt temperature (Tm2) and crystallization temperature (Tc1) of PVA/DB composite decreased, the initial thermal decomposition temperatures (Td), thermal processing window (ΔT) and MI values increased respectively. Based on above studies, the influence of DB content on rheological properties of PVA/DB composite was investigated by the capillary rheometer. The result displayed that apparent viscosity of PVA/DB composite decreased with increasing DB content, shear rate and measured temperature. The non‐Newtonian index (n) increased and structural viscosity index (Δη) decreased with the increase of measured temperature and DB. The viscous flow activation energy (Eη) decreased as the shear rate and DB content increased. When the measured temperature, DB content and shear rate were in the range of Tm2+30 −Tm2+35 °C, 40–50 wt% and 764.8–1504.9 s−1, respectively, the spinnability of PVA/DB composite was optimal, which will lay a theoretical foundation for the exploration of melt spinning process in the future. Background: Posterior capsular opacification (PCO) is the main reason affecting the long-term postoperative result of cataract patient, and it is well accepted that fibrotic PCO is driven by transforming growth factor beta (TGFβ) signaling. Ferroptosis, closely related to various ocular diseases, but has not been explored in PCO. Methods: RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) was performed on both TGF-β2 treated and untreated primary lens epithelial cells (pLECs). Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) associated with ferroptosis were analyzed using Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) to investigate their biological function. Additionally, protein-to-protein interactions among selected ferroptosis-related genes by PPI network and the top 10 genes with the highest score (MCC algorithm) were selected as the hub genes. The top 20 genes with significant fold change values were validated using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Results: Our analysis revealed 1253 DEGs between TGF-β2 treated and untreated pLECs, uncovering 38 ferroptosis-related genes between two groups. Among these 38 ferroptosis-related genes,the most prominent GO enrichment analysis process involved in the response to oxidative stress (BPs), apical part of cell (CCs),antioxidant activity (MFs). KEGG were mainly concentrated in fluid shear stress and atherosclerosis, IL-17 and TNF signaling pathways, and validation of top 20 genes with significant fold change value were consistent with RNA-seq. Conclusions: Our RNA-Seq data identified 38 ferroptosis-related genes in TGF-β2 treated and untreated pLECs, which is the first observation of ferroptosis related genes in primary human lens epithelial cells under TGF-β2 stimulation. Our study initially observed ferroptosis related genes in primary human lens epithelial cells stimulated by TGF-β2. Hydrogen production by catalytic aqueous phase reforming (APR) of biomass oxygenated derivatives in relatively mild conditions is a promising way to produce hydrogen. In this work, Pt/CeO 2 -HT, Pt/La–CeO 2 -HT and PtLa/CeO 2 catalysts were synthesized by a novel photochemical reduction method and applied to the methanol APR. Extensive characterizations have proved that the mild catalyst preparation method gave it a high dispersion of Pt species and the addition of La modified the metal-support interaction. The results showed that La-modified Pt/La–CeO 2 -HT and PtLa/CeO 2 catalysts exhibited better catalytic performance than the Pt/CeO 2 -HT catalyst, among which the hydrogen yield was the highest for the surface La-modified PtLa/CeO 2 catalyst (177.7 mmol/g cat). This was mainly attributed to the surface modification of La resulted in a significant increase in the number of moderately strong basic sites and surface oxygen vacancies in the PtLa/CeO 2 catalyst. The enhancement of catalyst basicity effectively promoted the dissociation of H 2 O to produce hydroxyl groups, while a large number of surface oxygen vacancies provided more active sites for the adsorption and dissociation of H 2 O. And their synergistic behavior efficiently facilitated the water gas shift (WGS) reaction, resulting in a significant increase in hydrogen yield of methanol APR. Associated with the in situ DRIFTS analyzes and the results indicated by WGS reaction, possible promotion mechanism was proposed. With the oxygen conversion efficiency of metal‐free carbon‐based fuel cells dramatically improved, the building blocks of covalent organic frameworks (COFs) raised principal concerns on the catalytic active sites with indistinct electronic states. Herein, to address this issue, we demonstrate COFs for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) by regulating the edge‐hanging thiophene units, and the molecular geometries are further modulated via positional thiophene isomerization strategy, affording isomeric COF‐α with 2‐substitution and COF‐β with 3‐substitution on the frameworks. The electronic states and intermediate adsorption ability are well‐regulated through geometric modification, resulting in controllable chemical activity and local density of π‐electrons. Notably, the introduction of thiophene units with different substitution positions into a pristine pure carbon‐based COF model COF‐Ph achieves excellent activity with a half‐wave potential of 0.76 V versus the reversible hydrogen electrode, which is higher than most of those metal‐free or metal‐based electrocatalysts. Utilizing the combination of theoretical prediction and in situ Raman spectra, we show that the isomeric thiophene skeleton (COF‐α and COF‐β) can induce the dangling unit activation, accurately identifying the pentacyclic‐carbon (thiophene α‐position) adjacent to sulfur atom as active sites. Background: Perineural invasion (PNI) is the invasion of nerves by cancer cells and is associated with poor survival in stage II colorectal cancer. However, PNI can be further subdivided according to the depth of invasion, and the depth of PNI has not been clearly linked to prognosis. Method: This study aimed to assess the prognostic value of different depths of PNI in stage II colorectal cancer. We defined PNI in the submucosal plexus and myenteric plexus as superficial perineural invasion (sup-PNI) and PNI in the subserous plexus as deep perineural invasion (deep-PNI). Patients were divided into three groups based on the depth of PNI: sup-PNI, deep-PNI and non-PNI. Then, univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses were conducted to evaluate the role of PNI in the prognosis of stage II colorectal cancer. Results: This study enrolled 3508 patients with stage II colorectal cancer who underwent resection for primary colorectal lesions between January 2013 and September 2019. Clinicopathological features, including elevated carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) levels, T4 stage, poor differentiation, deficient DNA mismatch repair (dMMR), and vascular invasion, were correlated with deep-PNI. Multivariate analyses revealed that deep-PNI was associated with worse overall survival (OS; hazard ratio [HR], 3.546; 95% confidence interval [CI], 2.307–5.449; P < 0.001) and disease-free survival (DFS; HR, 2.921; 95% CI, 2.032–4.198; P < 0.001), compared with non-PNI. Conversely, no significant difference in OS or DFS was observed between the sup-PNI and non-PNI groups in multivariate analyses. Conclusions: The study demonstrated that the depth of PNI was an independent prognostic factor for patients with stage II colorectal cancer, and patients with deep PNI had a worse prognosis.
