Absorptive Capacity (ACAP) helps firms acquire, assimilate, and utilise new knowledge. Drawing on crucial managerial perspectives, this study employs a Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) to scrutinise the various dimensions of ACAP (e.g. routines versus extra work, organisational culture, leadership, and the trustworthiness of knowledge sources) concerning market knowledge and knowledge creation outcomes (e.g. knowledge creation activities and firm's private knowledge) among small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Thailand. The findings indicate that all dimensions, with the exception of extra work, contribute significantly to the augmentation of firm-specific knowledge. However, only routines and knowledge-oriented leadership demonstrate a positive association with knowledge-creation activities. The results suggested that managers and top executives of SMEs should emphasise non-financial rewards more, create knowledge learning routines, and support the learning culture to enhance the ACAP for market knowledge. Family firms face significant challenges in professionalizing their management, while the professionalization effects on the firms' performance are unclear. Drawing on stewardship and agency theories, we theorize and test the effects of family ownership and professionalization on firms' financial performance and sustainability (environmental, social and governance) reputation. Using a large-scale management practices dataset of both public and private companies in the US, UK, Germany, and France, we find that family firms outperform nonfamily ones in terms of both financial performance and sustainability reputation, and professionalization helps strengthen such positive effects. We theorize that this is because professionalization can address agent opportunistic behaviors, while enhancing steward behaviors unique to family firms. This study unpacked the key sustainability drivers for successful social enterprises or community-based tourism enterprises (CBTEs), based on a study of a Thailand's Best Responsible Tourism award-winner at Sapphaya Community in Chai Nat Province. Using a grounded-theory qualitative case study, our key research objective is to gain insights into how community and enterprise leaders of a national award-winning CBTE in Thailand can generate value by revalorizing its cultural heritage and local assets to achieve sustainable community-based tourism. The research also explores how the CBTE can increase local engagement with multi-stakeholders. Our findings indicated two key sustainability drivers, including leadership and local engagement, for sustainable social enterprises. An emergent model of leadership and local engagement in driving the sustainability of CBTEs is proposed. It implies an importance of CBTE leadership as a critical factor that helps preserve community endowments (e.g., historical sites and cultural heritage) as well as develops social capital. The local engagement with a good sense of ownership and community participation is the key enabler toward sustainable tourism. eHealth or digital health innovations expanded tremendously during the COVID-19 pandemic. Innovation and digitalization offer creative solutions to build up a healthy society. The eHealth technologies are quickly taken up by Southeast Asia countries and continue to flourish to alleviate the burden of healthcare challenges. This study is the first review exploring and analyzing the whole literature of eHealth, specifically in the Southeast Asia region. The objective of this study is to document the size, growth trajectory, and geographical distribution of eHealth in Southeast Asia research, identify high-impact authors and documents, explore the intellectual knowledge structure, and analyze the topical trends of the field. The bibliometric analysis was used to analyze a data set of 1405 Scopus-indexed documents between 1976 and 2021. Descriptive analysis, citation, co-citation, and keyword co-occurrence analyses were conducted to gain insights into eHealth in the Southeast Asia knowledge base. The growth rate of literature has rocketed up since 2018, reflecting the significant increase in demand for eHealth in Southeast Asia. Among the eleven Southeast Asian countries, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand were the top four countries where the most eHealth-related research was conducted. The intellectual structure of eHealth in Southeast Asia literature comprises four schools of thought (i.e., four groups of similar theoretical perspectives and research interests): (1) analysis and adoption of hospital information system/eHealth records, (2) user intention and acceptance of information technology, (3) technology for healthcare and disease management, and (4) mobile health technology (m-Health). Mobile applications, social networks, the COVID-19 pandemic, patient referral, follow-up, self-care, quality of life, psychology, diabetes mellitus, and hypertension are the recent emerging research themes in the field of study. The eHealth development should consider long-term sustainable management along with the rapid evolution of the field. Additionally, eHealth systems should be holistic and pay attention to technology adoption, data security, and ethical issues involved in medical practices. This bibliometric review delivers reference points for scholars interested in Southeast Asia eHealth, reveals the emerging intellectual structure of this interdisciplinary field, and provides guidance to future research on this domain. After the launch of the United Nations' Brundtland's report in 1987, entrepreneurship has been promoted as one of the tools for achieving sustainable development. Since then, the studies in sustainable entrepreneurship have flourished and this topic has emerged as a subfield of entrepreneurship research. In order to examine the current stage of sustainable entrepreneurship (SE) research, this review utilized science mapping tools to analyze 712 Scopus-indexed documents written on the topic of sustainable entrepreneurship. This review assesses the size, publication evolution, and worldwide dispersion of research publications of this knowledge base as well as topics that have gained increased interest over the past few years. The review documented an emerging knowledge base, concentrated in Western developed societies. Sustainable entrepreneurship has evolved from earlier incarnations such as ecopreneurship and social entrepreneurship. Author co-citation analysis, three Schools of Thoughts (or three sub-themes) were identified in this knowledge base, namely Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Social Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability Innovation. This review aspires to provide a baseline bibliometric analysis of sustainable entrepreneurship research that both charts the evolution of this knowledge base and points towards productive lines of future inquiry.
