Background: Today, the expert community is actively discussing the construction of public spaces for self-realization and professional and personal development of young people. This is a strategic development project for the youth not only in large cities, but also in small towns throughout Russia. Purpose: This paper aims to analyze the emerging public urban spaces that have become the main request for modern young people in the capital of the country. Design/Methodology/Approach: The analysis presented in the paper is based on the empirical data that was obtained in the course of the expert survey at the end of 2021. 30 semi-structured interviews were conducted with the specialists in the field of public space of Moscow who acted as experts. Findings: As a result of the sociological study, several important areas of reorganization/problems of public space in Moscow for young people were analyzed and identified: capital center, embankments, and residential areas. The expert opinion was generalized and represented regarding the possibilities for further enhancement of the public urban space of the capital and 'youth-friendly' urban planning policy. Conclusions: This article may be of certain value not only for specialists in the field of creating public spaces, but also for young people, youth organizations that also contribute to the solution of this issue. This article is devoted to the main socio-economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic in the world and in Russia. The new COVID-19 coronavirus infection, which has infected more than 36 million people worldwide since December 2019 (data as of October 20, 2020), not only caused chaos in economics and collapse of social activity (due to widespread quarantine or, as in Russia, voluntary lockdown). It became a catalyst for technological changes that can stay with us for a long time even after the creation of a medicine or vaccine. Robotic dogs on guard of public health are only one of the signs of the new time, which are already visible in various areas of human life. Initially, the article focuses on the economic consequences of a viral infection. Its influence on migration and demographic consequences is considered. Its influence on the subsequent state of health is also traced. The authors analyzed the impact of the coronavirus epidemic on the prospects for labor force development and employment. The urgent transfer of education in Russia to a distance format in the context of a pandemic has significant differences from a properly planned online learning based on wide-scale open online courses. Educational organizations that are forced to work with students remotely in order to reduce the risks of the spread of coronavirus should be aware of this difference when assessing the effectiveness of so-called "online learning" using distance learning technologies. Such a drastic measure was forced and urgent. Not all universities were ready for this radical restructuring of the educational process based on objectively different levels of development of information infrastructure, provision of disciplines with electronic educational resources, and readiness of teachers to use digital platforms and services in the educational process. The article examines the influence of social capital on the quality of life of the Russian population and its particular components. The authors point to the problem associated with the social capital of the individual and determine the levels, namely the micro-level (interaction of individuals), meso-level (interaction with organizations), and macro-level (interaction with government bodies, etc.), which form the social capital. Based on empirical data from sociological research conducted in 2019, the article analyzes the structure of values of the adult population of Russia, highlights the characteristics of social capital and the degree of their influence on the formation of the quality of life. Methodological solutions are illustrated with examples of empirical research using the questionnaire survey method. One of the tasks is to analyze the essence and influence of social capital on the quality of life. In the course of the research, the authors focus on the micro-level of the formation and influence of social capital, highlighting such components as a social activity and material security of an individual. In the course of the study, it was found that the social capital of a person affects the quality of a person's life, to a certain extent, forming the circle of his/her interests and values, as well as providing real opportunities for the realization of the interests of the individual and meeting his/her needs. Based on empirical data from a sociological study conducted in April and May 2019, the article analyzes the structure of socio-economic and perceived parameters of quality of life. The research was funded by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. The article using the factor analysis revealed the typological structure of the values of the adult population of Russia. It is shown that it remains predominantly −materialistic‖ (according to R. Inglehart). The most significant is the value of patriotism, and it has a twofold nature - active patriotism and warlike patriotism, each of which expresses a different understanding of love for the motherland. The high importance of family and material wealth remains. The role of −post-materialist‖ values is insignificant. The author defined the state of such parameters of the perceived quality of life as physical activity, the importance of physical issues in restricting life activity, the state of mental health, the significance of emotional issues in restricting life activity, the volume of subjective pain sensations, the general state of health, vitality, and social activity. The nature of their change in the 21st century, from 2002 to 2020, is shown. The coronavirus outbreak, which has covered a huge number of countries, leading to infection of more than a million people, forcing states to make extraordinary efforts to overcome it, affects the public consciousness, intensifies the people's perception and assessment of measures taken by public authorities to protect the population from the spread of coronavirus. The object of the article is to define the theoretical approach to the conceptual model of empirical study of the influence of religious values of Muslim and Orthodox youth on their attitude to the foundation of family, to determine variables and indicators of this model, to present the results of the sociological research, showing the nature of the influence of religiosity on the values of young people in the conditions of modern Russia. A questionnaire survey was used as a method of empirical research. Based on the analysis of empirical data, the nature of changes in the value paradigm of family and marriage, depending on the degree of religiosity, and the role of internal and external factors of the social environment are shown. The mechanism of their influence is revealed. The significance of religiousness of youth as a factor of formation of attitude to family and marriage is defined, and the probability model of its formation is developed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The paper's objective is to define a theoretical approach to building a conceptual model of empiric research into behaviour of students in relation to learning and factors shaping it, variables and indicators of this model, present the results of the nationwide study revealing the behaviour of students in relation to learning and the content of learning reinforcement in the context of the present-day Russia. As an empirical research method the questionnaire survey was used. Based on the analysis of empirical data the nature of changes in academic performance of students depending on the grade was demonstrated, the role of external and internal factors fostering learning and the mechanism of their impact was described.
